Hello clammers! I Hope you’ve come across as many golden clams as I did since the game launched a few weeks ago. I’m genuinely surprised by how often I find them and THAT is my first favorite thing about this game. In today’s post, I’m gonna talk about my favorite things in Quest For Stuff. I know it’s been 3 weeks since my initial post on this thread and I must apologize for my lack of presence. Between trying to fully understand the game and it’s mechanics, I got a very bad flu that seemed to last forever. But I’m all better now and I wish I would have had a chance to try the game in its beta version to give me a head start. I had never played this type of game before and it took me a while to get what the goal was and to establish a strategy for my gameplay.
My next favorite thing is the originality of certain tasks. I really like the variety and enjoy seeing my characters in action. I appreciate the fact that most tasks are outdoors and visible. My top 3:
Hooker Peter, Looking for Work
Herbert, Declare his Love
Bonnie, Twerk It
The items we have to acquire to build costumes are quite funny and original. Never in my life would I have thought that I would need to gather bags of oregano in a game! I also like the panties and the tub of petroleum jelly. I basically really enjoy anything that is politically incorrect!
My favorite building so far is Al Harrington’s. When I first saw Al Harrington’s Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tubeman Emporium and Warehouse‘, located off of Route 2 in Weekapaug, Rhode Island infomercial, I was immediately drawn to it. Yes, do pass the savings onto meeeeeee!
The decorations in this game are awesome! I wish I could manage to play more often so I could make more money and buy more decorations! Im just really busy trying to clear blocks and it uses all my Quahog dollars and no sleep for my illegal Mexican worker. I think the bus stop cabin looks really nice. I also appreciate the swimming pool which I always wanted in TSTO and still don’t have! The hillbilly ATM is also pretty funny! I wish the guy inside would help out my illegal Mexican on his jobs.
My most coveted premium item is undoubtedly Consuela. I noticed that she could be involved in many quests for costumes and she is just one of the funniest recurring characters on the show. When I go to the other Quahogs and she is there, I just have to tap her to hear: MORE LEMON PLEDGE! If I give in to buying golden clams, she is definitely going to be my first purchase.
What about YOU, clammers!? What are your favorite things in the game so far? Tell us what and why in the comment section below!
Your aunt Platy xo

Yah, I forgot about that part. I just made up a fb page, so I could play the game. If you want to be my friend in Fam Guy, my facebook is Tadmire Giggity So far, I haven’t run in to a friend limit, like we do in Tapped Out.

It is annoying. Maybe they’ll get past that, someday. It is fun to see how creative others are and get their ideas, though. Take care.

I really like every aspect of this game (especially compared to TSTO). It is fresh and snappy and agree the outdoor tasks are great. You can even move characters around, before starting their task, so you can create fun dioramas. I’ve managed to get 48 clams for free and only play twice a day, at level 17. Can you believe all of the characters are voiced?! The game doesn’t crash or slow down, except I do lose audio sometimes. The friend selector is fast and solid, I only wish there were some kind of reciprocity built in. Overall, I have moved my mobile game time to FG:QfS and am only “phoning” it in with that other game. That pun was for you, aunt Platy.

I agree with you on how great this game is made. I only wish the social aspect would be different than using just fb. I dont wanna add 50 strangers to my feed on fb just so I can visit their Quahogs

Hey I wanted to know the percentage in chance of visiting someone and getting a clam? Also I want to know if it’s possible to get more than 1 clam?

On average, when I visit the maximum friends per day, I get one clam every day or two.
