So there are some cool tasks to help you during the Comic Con Event in Quahog. I do like that TinyCo has adapted and changed some of the tasks to serve a dual purpose. So you can get the materials needed for characters and the Blam! needed for the event. Makes it nice to collect both at once.

Did anyone else notice that Peter’s task “Tweet @ More Celebs to Visit” has changed? Now its 6 hrs and earns $65 45XP 7Blam and still has a chance of a Kamikaze. I’m assuming that task has been there for the past week on iOS devices (Android here), seems kinda strange that they would change it now

I am looking into any and all changes and will be updating them. I think they are trying to help those item earning tasks so players have an easier and shorter time spent to get them. A great idea in my opinion. 🙂

I’m glad to see I’m wasn’t the only one super excited to get the event yesterday!! I didn’t get Stewie yet but I’m close, just two plutoniums and two banana peels away! I hope later in the event more characters will drop blam and/or double what’s being earned like it did with the moon idols. I love that the different nerds drop items! So far I’ve gotten two of the three buildings to get the rocket and only 300 from the third! I’m really enjoying this event 🙂 🙂 🙂

Not only does Stewie, PB&J Brian, etc not earn Blams!, but nor do any of the buildings that we build associated with the event. You’d think they would at least also drop Blams! for the duration of the event and then afterwards switch to coins (like the butt idols etc from last event). I know they aren’t premium buildings, but come on TinyCo, let the Fabulous 4 building, Training Center, Comic Store, and even the buildings won as prizes drop some Blam! please.

I kept thinking that for all the nerds I was zapping my total blam wasn’t really gaining on anything so I watched and if I tapped all at once they didn’t always add to my total, since then I hit one collect then move on and my totals are finally gaining some ground, should hit 15k in the next day or so. I have earlier bought premium items but so far on this haven’t and I checked my blam totals per day( I know I am an addict) and I went from getting 1200/day to almost 1900/day without changing how I play, anyone else notice this

It seems that as you progress your blam! earning will increase & become easier to obtain. Looks like you’re proof of it! 🙂

I dunno if anyone else thinks this, but… I’m getting slightly annoyed by the fact that it’s ONLY ever Peter/Chris/Bruce/Jerome/Quagmire/Bonnie with actions that fulfill events.
Like, yeah, I get it. The reason is so that new players have a chance to get the rewards as well. But it’s ONLY ever these 6 people. Outside the event, there are currently 25 characters (Counting King Butt) you could have attained, yet 19 of them can do absolutely nothing here.
Now, I’m not saying to be cruel to new players, but wouldn’t it make sense to give your long-time players an edge? Ones who have been waiting with everything unlocked for the next district or event; don’t they deserve the small boost? Especially those who spent clams on the cash characters, at the very least they should be able to help the event. (I know the Full Moon event did give bonus idols for cash characters, so that was cool).
I’d just like to see a little more reward for having all these characters. I mean, Lois (and proly Stewie) even gets a Comic Con costume, why don’t they get actions too? It just seems like a waste to have all these characters and get virtually no profit from them event after event after event.

You answered your own question with your second paragraph. 😉 I agree however that the premium characters should always be a part of events. It would be a way of thanking players for buying them in the first place and an incentive for those on the fence to buy them. It wouldn’t be a question about “fairness” since no 2 players are racing or competing against each other. Everyone plays a solo game and what goes on in another’s has no bearing on mine.

Thanks Cybersilly for defending us newer players. 🙂 I mean, longtime players get *Stewie* – I say that’s a big perk since I’m still stuck on Brian (who I’m not all that crazy about as a character). I do agree with Lloyd that premium characters and/or buildings should drop event coin (Blam! in this case). I shelled out for Consuela, Jake, and the horse, and I’ve contemplated Buzz Killington – having Buzz or his building drop Blam would make me drop cash. 🙂 Right now I’m mainly trying to keep Consuela and Jake out of my way while I work on Blam and Brian.
On a side note, seeing the nerds wander alongside – and sometimes walk through – the bulls in my Quahog is pretty amusing.

I do hope that there will be an update so more characters/more tasks drop Blam! soon. It’s really tedious right now JUST spamming Peter’s one minute task while all the other characters’ shortest Blam dropping is an hour long. Didn’t everyone who dropped moons during the Temple of the Hidden Moon event also had their minute tasks drop a butt or two? I would love to see that in place so then I could catch up to where I need to be according to the calender.

I completely agree with this!!! The Con started the same day I ‘found’ Stewie and Carter (quick tip: WAIT, don’t try and unlock them at the same time) and now I’ve got Dr Hartman, Trisha, Jake Tucker, Meg, Joe, Cleveland and Connie on pointless 24 hour tasks, BOOOR-ING. These characters took time and real money to earn. We should be able to use them in these special events.
I know, I know Bunny, it’s only week one, lol but still!

I’ve noticed that there is a glitch with rotating the gatomobile, when its shown as side ways (one the little grid) the image is still not rotated just moved so it will sometimes be in the way of other things. However when you select it again it will be fixed until you rotate it twice again when that will happen again. I took some funny pics too and thought I could email them too you. 🙂

I have heard others mention this. I believe TinyCo is working on it. If you would like, you can alert them via your menu that you are one of those impacted so they can go into your game and see the cause. 😉

The play store update for it hit already, so now it’s a matter of them “flipping a switch”. So i don’t think it’ll hit late tonight, instead it’ll probably hit around 7am EDT tomorrow morning

Every update so far, with the exception of this one, has hit Android first. Glitch fixes etc. They always go to Android, then iOS. This is the first update that hit iOS first.

I’ll agree yes #teamandriod has gotten updates alittle before ios however. We comparing day(s) to a week. And ios also did get an exclusive as far as we know with golden suit Peter. So really if anyone is getting treated “better” i can see why thet say ios but its pretty even. People should be happy they try and put out little in game updates so often to make the game as fun as possible. Im clearly not getting sleep tonight ill be checking every couple minutes for this update.

And that’s exactly what has happened. (So far)
No extra time on our countdown, as of yet. (They could add later?)
Plus, the iOs users had time to accumulate Blam! before the 3 day Rocket quest. We got it all at once & started at 0.
I hope I’m proven wrong, but so far, I’m already regretting not cheating & logging on w an iOs earlier.

I’m right there with you as far as not starting on iOS before it hit Android. I did not update my main A game (the one I actually care about & put effort into lol), so we’re in this together. We’ll see what happens Blam! wise for Android users 🙂

Did anyone else notice they changed Quagmire’s Netchix task? It was a 12 hour task for Bathrobe Quagmire but now it’s a 20 hour task for normal Quagmire. Kinda bugs me cause it was a faster way to get the blueprints.

Yup, they changed it Monday night. I suspect it’s so you can still earn Blam! while working on the blueprints (since Quagmire earns blam! but bathrobe Quagmire does not)

I was in mid-netchix when it changed, so I wasted that time not getting any blueprints. MY guess is that they changed it so that the task would line up with the other 20 hour blueprint tasks.

Yea it was mean I needed one blueprint to finish but when I collected it didnt give me anything then I saw I had to change him and set him for 20 hrs. Still no where close to stewie

First, know what you mean about the “common” items. Between Bruce, Herbert and Quagmire (when it was 12 hours) I have done around 20 times and have 11 blueprints. At a drop rate around 80-90% should have at least 16-18…I guess common means 50%. I digress.
Question is this blam update automatic or do you have to download. I mean if I start Peter on a 12 hour task tonight at 7pm, will he blam be available tomorrow when i sign in, or only after I do an update. Wondering cause tonight before bed I am putting my characters on tasks, but if it won’t count towards blam then I will make sure they expire around alarm o’clock time so I can set them up to get blam while at work.

The update should be auto. I don’t know if the task will carry blam in the morning. In theory yes, similar to what it did with Rupert it would.

i will start of by saying a BIG THANKS to all that have put this site together. i have been playing and following this site from day one of the game launch and you are all fantastic. I hope that Bunny enjoyed comic con and had a great time. I just wanted to say im an Android player and thanks for the heads up for what characters drop blam… Now i can plan my overnnight tasks and collect them in the morning when the update hits, i cant wait anymore a week has felt like a month. Yup, it changed Monday night. I think it’s their effort to allow you to still earn blam! while working to get Stewie (since the original task was Bathrobe Quagmire & he didn’t drop blam!)

Is there a part on Patricks quest where he has a sleep over with quagmire? Only want to know as I don’t really want to use quagmire on a day task with it being so close to new stuff coming out. Obviously he will be needed for something.

I think the “other” character is missing in one of the joints tasks in the charts… Give a Lap Dance (Joe) and Sleep Over doesn’t look right for the values so maybe it should be double-checked.

Off topic…but now that I have all of the plutonium for Stewie…I wet 3 times with no blueprint drops. Which at 20 hours a pop makes me very sad.

That’s why I was pissed off when they switched the task for Quagmire. (Though I have been thinking from the start someone made an error as tasks that drop items all tend to have the same time frame.) I was hoping to collect the 30 before they caught it. In my opinion, the Blam lost from Quagmire (14 for 20 hrs) would have been quite negligible if that was the actual reason they switched tasks. It would have been more productive if I got rid of the blue prints faster and had him focus on 1 hour tasks after.

I’m totally with you! I’ve had the plutonium for a WEEK but I still need 8 blueprints. And they seemed to have changed Quagmire’s from 12 to 18 hours….AND no upper level characters or even buildings to help. I would spend the 40 clams to skip past the four more days of waiting for these blueprints to drop, but they have done irritated me and I’m only going to spend clams to get Nathan F. because he is THE MAN!. AND I’m on Android so I can’t even collect BLAM! BOOOOOOOOOO!!!
