Halloween phase 5 is here! It’s time to upgrade those portals, unleash a Nightmare on the streets of Quahog!
Of course TinyCo has armed you with a fun questline to help rid the dead of Quahog (and in some cases raise it)! By following along with the questline you’ll learn the ins and outs of how to succeed at Halloween, and send the dead packing!

And that, my friends, is where the main questline ends for week 5 & the ending of the Halloween Event.
Also note that the Fiscal Fright questline will run alongside this throughout the entire event. This is basically telling you to upgrade to the next level. And remember, you can earn clams from the Fiscal Fright questline… (Max Level is 10)

I completed all required tasks in plenty of time, but I still don’t have the Ecto-1 in my inventory!!! How do I get it?

You need to make sure you close out the task for the skyline, then have enough open space in your task menu to allow more tasks to pop up. Double check your inventory to see if you already got it.

Do all of these quests disappear once the event ends? Also does the hell pit show tasks outside? I didn’t want to buy it unless it does lol

Man, it was so easy to do everything in this event.

Let’s just say I am not doing well.
But here, I’ve finished the last of the Nightmare on Elm Street/Ghost quests, I think I’m wrapping up Consuela’s questline, and I only need another 1k to finish the Alien Queen and get the Slimer deco.

I’m Happy cause I just got Mr. Weed, I got all Fright Levels, Characters, Outfits, Buildings, and House Decorations for the event which is all I wanted, I’m going to keep going though, my next target is the Alien Queen which is totally doable in 4 days, hey Bunny do you happen to know what time on the 7th the event will be over?

It looks like I won’t finish this week’s tasks because my task bar is all clogged up with stuff I can’t complete in 1 day and my Freddy quest line disappeared around part 7 or 8, so I can’t start the Unchained Melody one.
This is everything currently in my task list:
-3 need Stewie, who I don’t have unlocked
-1 to unlock Carter, need 10 sugar packs
-3 are reminders to buy characters with Clams, which I won’t do
-1 is Cleveland’s questline, who I don’t have
-1 is Conseula’s outfit, which the game refuses to give
-2 are Peter’s 24 hour pirate tasks
-1 is Peter asking us to place decos, which never goes away

I just did asking them to remove the Buy Exclusive Characters (Alien, Predator and Cleveland) and Cleveland’s Questline.
I forgot to mention the task to get Slimer and Witch Connie is also there. Finishing Connie’s Questline looks to be the only way out.k

It looks like I have to juggle tasks between the Freddy and Connie questlines. When I completed a Connie task it moved up the Freddy task, so I have to complete a Freddy task to get Connie’s tasks back. It grinds my gears that I can’t do both together.

Is it just me or was this a rather easy and casual event? It seemed much easier to finish every questline and get all characters compared to the other 2 events.
Do you think there is a chance we will get some kind of mystery box where we can win clams from our spare spirit vials? We don’t have many days left and I have spirit vials to burn 😀

Bunny, I do have questions about buying Coins to get Clams offer. How many Clams do you get for $5 and does that offer also work for higher prices? Thanx!

Day of Dead items go on 4th. Event still is going on til 7th. End of week.
As far as what YOU would get, I would verify it by tapping on your clams + icon in your game. (It varies by player region). It is basically the U.S. $$ equivalent to $5. So how ever many that translates to for you in both the coins n clams section.

Also, here in Norway I’ve noticed that you get more clams for your money if you use an Android device rather than an iOS device. I thought that was weird. 😛

Also some tips i have for players trying to rack up those spirit vials is to focus on what you want the most first and to try play as many times in a day that is possible sending your characters on quests to earn bombs etc and before bed send them on a longer task to not waste as much time. Focus on making some fire roasted marshmallows because by far he gives the biggest payout. And one last tip is the stink bombs to vials from the cauldron is a lot easier to score 100 vials then to try bomb a minimum of 12 trick or treaters with every bomb. It was easier killing 12 mutant stewies because you could hold them in place but with the trick or treaters a lot of it is luck based. Most i ever got was 12 and that was only once but i got a max of 15 mutants a couple of times.

Finally got everything that has been released so far including all my favourite horror icons (didnt get everything from the macabre and demonic mystery boxes ; did get the toy factory though).
This event has been awesome i hope they release a little more before the event is over because all i got left to do is finish consuelas dia de los muertos quest line. And to all those people who were asking for a Freddy and Jason task there is one now as well as an AVP type quest for alien and predator. Awesomeness lol

Its getting really difficult to play. Ive been trying to unlock Freddy all day and still havent managed to. I have everything i just need to click on the open lock but every single time the game crashes. Its been over 8 hours!
Time is running out and i cant even start the challenge.
Very frustrating 😦

I put a lot of things in storage, i have space and good wifi signal. Characters are mostly indoors.
Its hard to play anyways coz its crashing all the time, but this is different coz of the time limit of course. 😦

After showing out clams in the comic con event for Brian and Nathan I didn’t spend any clams this events and Mr. weed is what I have left work on I did miss out on the week three challenge even after they made changes I did not manage to get the target number of kids bombed in time so I did not end up with all of the prizes this time i’m glad they chose to make Friday and lockable without clear up because Friday is my favorite horror movie icon I would like to have Jason to but I just don’t have the money right now to be spending on the game maybe I’ll be lucky and for Christmas I’ll get some iTunes cards

The only thing I have left to do for Halloween is to craft Mr. weed but as I am only sitting at 6101 spirit viral’s at the moment I don’t know if it’s possible that I will reach the 17,500 necessary to Crofton before the end of the event

I waited until I had built up 60 of each of the bombs and then started hitting Stay Puft. I probably should have waited until I was at 70 each, but I’m finally up to 16,000 now after a couple days so I’m hopeful to get Mr. Weed in time.

I’ve been serving through you Pink Brian posts, and still can’t figure out how to get him. I never saw the candy challenge in early October. He’s not at Harringtons, or the brew pot. No clue how to get him, and the Halloween challenge is almost over!
I’ve brewed everything, maxed out on Fright points, got the Ecto-1, have 26/33 characters, PB&J Brian, all but 2 of Peter’s costumes and NO PINK BRIAN! I did get Stewie late, but didn’t see anything where they’re related.

Unfortunately, the candy collection quest to get Pink Brian was held back in September, before the Halloween event started. It was kind of a mini – event (had to collect three or four pieces of three different candies over a week and a half timed event one piece per day) .
I hate to say this but you can only hope they release him again in the future. At the very least, I would assume he will be re-released for next year’s Halloween event.

You do realize that I rarely read your responses, right? Since you guys normally take quite awhile to respond, due to the vetting process, I usually only see the ones where you respond relatively quickly, as in this instance (or if I’m on a long trip). Since I prefer the sites where I can instantly interact, I usually just do drive-bys here 🙂

Okay… decision time. Peter has a 1 minute task for 1 Vial. If I spare a few hours here and there, I can earn about 60 vials per hour (little less taking into account rechoosing the task). That’s by far the most vials per time payout… but then I don’t get the smore rocket from his 2 hour task. Which is the better task?
At this point I’m NOWHERE close to getting Mr. Weed, and that’s all I really want at this point. I stupidly build THREE Quahog Mariner Banquet Halls thinking they were unique, so I wasted about 3000 vials, and I got everything but Consuela’s costume from her prize box with a looot of attempts (angry at myself for that too). I’m resigned to not getting Slimer and probably not getting the Griffin house decoration.

It is all a matter of payout. Does that one rocket he would give you REALLY help?

I also advise you do the math on everyone else’s tasks to get the most vials from each character. Sometimes there’s a higher-payout task hidden amid the list, like Quagmire’s 2-hour 50 vial sexy ghost task (way more productive than sending him for 6 hours to get one rocket!). I noticed a couple others who had differing vial payouts as well. If you have the clams, Jason is a huge help on those rockets. Good luck! I would gladly give you some of my vials if there were a way to do so!

I’m struggling to get the vials needed for Mr. Weed. He’s all I have left to brew to get Slimer. I just sent a suggestion to TinyCo. (probably too late) that crafting items no longer needed (candy corn, marshmallow goop, etc.) would be a great thing to trade for extra vials in addition to what they’ve already done for us. Probably this won’t get into this event now, but next time, they might consider it.

Hoping for maybe another small release for the end considering the Consieula stuff ends tomorrow. Would be cool to get some stuff like a lake and cabin for Jason and the Elm St. house for Freddy. For now will just keep,collecting vials and see what happens.

Now that this event is pretty much over I want to speculate characters that we should see in the game that have not been announced. I hope they add James woods in maybe a murder mystery event(along with Carl). And I hope they give all the characters tuxedos. In the American dad event sadly Claus will probably be a decoration. But I hope they have the koala as a character. We also need a Gary the no-trash cougar costume for Peter. Ok rambling done. Thank you for all the hard work on these posts.

At 10,500 viles. Try to get that last few thousand to get Mr weed and alien, then I got a few of the first cheap ones and slimer is mine! Then if I can score the maids day of dead that will be another event 100% complete freemium excluding predator and alien I bought. Though charters were to good to pass up. A task popped up today that said for me to upgrade to the Staypuft portal but im already past that and am at the nightmare portal. But it wont check off on my taskbar. Anyone else have this issue?

Just got the consuela costume, also won all prizes in the box except the skull which I’m happy about.
Now it’s collecting 12,000 for stewie and Connie skin. The funeral home and maybe something else I like.

Just started playing this game recently, first event and i gotta say it was pretty cool. Played all weeks and got the Ecto, proud clammer. Got a question tho, i like the way you can convert your bombs, traps and rockets but what about the tons of Terror Dog Bones, Banshee Tears, Latcher Talons, Candy Corns and the tons of Marshmallow Goop im stuck with? I’m not feeling like making a park out of Gargoyles, spiders and skeletons. Although i will if i cant have a better use for it 🙂

The event is pretty cool. I have managed to get all characters and costumes without clams, which was pretty tough, especially with completing Diane which I happened to dig up while still completing Ghostbuster Peter, ending up with having only about three days to unlock her. I basically managed that in the last hour before she would have gone.
I really don’t follow the questlines, because I often see too much going on at the same time and with many long breaks between quest steps, so that dialog bits and pieces seem to be randomly mixed with each other.
Besides, I really find the small text so hard to read that I’ve come to just tap through the screens. When will TinyCo do something about the text size, scaling it automatically to a legible level on all display resoutions?
But I must applaud TinyCo for making use of existing premium characters in new events. Well done, keep rewarding premium players this way!
