Dia de los Muertos was celebrated in Quahog over the weekend & naturally Consuela got in on the fiesta! During the Dia de lost Muertos event you could win a freemium Dia de lost Muertos costume for Consuela in the Rupert Mystery Box!
A whole new costume for Consuela means a whole new set of tasks…and a whole lot more Lemon Pledge! Let’s take a closer look at how Consuela celebrates the dead in Quahog..
As mentioned above Dia de los Muertos Consuela is won in the Count Rupert Mystery Box. The box cost 500 Spirit Vials per try and the only way to get her is to win her.
Once won Dia de los Muertos Consuela will be placed in your inventory. If you currently have Consuela you can start using this costume right away! If you don’t have Consuela the costume will be stored in your inventory until you purchase her (remember Consuela is still a premium character, so in order to get her you must buy her). But you can still win the costume even if you don’t have Consuela in your town yet.

Where has this gone? I finally got Mr weed so this morning after I collected I went to buy mystery box and it not there and the task was gone. Didn’t realise it was only here for a few days. I had my priority on getting 17000 for Mr weed. Didn’t wana spend any until I had him.

I won Consuela’s costume but it doesn’t show in my inventory. I found it at Al Harrington’s but when I create it, my game crashes.

I do have her. It freezes on me as soon as the first quest opens up. When I go back into the game, she’s not in my inventory but I have to create her at Harrington’s. Rinse and repeat… crash.

The costume does have to be created. The lil flower you collected essentially is that costume. Sounds like you need to try a lil basic troubleshooting to see if it helps or contact them if nothing resolves it.

Well I didn’t get the costume. Thats what I get for not paying attention to when it ended. I was saving up vials and when I went looking for the place to buy the box I couldn’t find it. I did get her while she was a reduced amount of clams so I guess that’s better than nothing.

Yes like the others, very disappointed that I can’t even complete the quest line. They offer the costume until the 4th and if you finally get it at the last minute and multiple sugar skulls (5 in my case) you don’t get to enjoy the quest? All the other quests persisted after their deadlines to unlock the character or costume, ie for ComicCon. They could maintain the buildings required for the quest in the regular shopping cart and allow you to enjoy what you were working for.
And I repeat… this was for a premium character, even if she was on sale. If this is the way people who spend clams are treated – penalized, rather – fat chance of my spending more, nor of buying any.
I have been enjoying this game, but this D.d.l.M. mini-event which I got excited for, turned into a real negative. The multiple skulls, the cost to get the costume, the stress (this is a game, it shouldn’t cause stress), and after all that, they yank the quest. Two big thumbs down.

I’m assuming due to items needed for it were only purchasable with it. So many would have come to a halt on quest anyway if they didn’t but them. No word yet back

I was in a good place vial – wise, so I bought all the DdiM buildings, so felt cheated when quest vanished. They need to tag the quest tabs with the time limits. I barely paid attention to the splash screen for buying boxes (I jumped into the prize screen to see what i was missing then purchased). Especially when it took functional characters away from producing bombs and missles. If I had known, I would have bypassed the quest line and push forward on collecting.

It’s ridiculous that I couldn’t get all the items in the box thanks to that sugar skull and the fact that it required vials instead of coins. They purposefully stretched everything too thin. I couldn’t get Death’s Dog or the items necessary for Consuela’s other tasks.
I paid around $15 cash to get some items and I was pleased to do it before this past weekend where they were ripping me off with the vials. Very disapointed, I think I’ll hang back on my purchases for a while regardless of the next events being American Dad and Christmas. I’ll probably start buying some seasons of TV shows like I’ve been wanting to on iTunes instead.

I won her costume and I was doing her tasks. I got up to the part where I had to build the ancestor’s tomb and send Consuela to remember her Abuela and send Bruce to remember his cat. The remembering tasks take some time but building the tomb only took 2 hours. Once I had it built the task went away. I contacted Tiny Co. but I’m wondering if this is the way it’s supposed to end. If not is anyone else having this problem.

It was same in mine. Never got clarification on what stayed and went for sure…so I am asking again if hers was supposed to go.

I won Consuela’s outfit but now can’t find it. I don’t have her yet so thought it would be in my inventory. I have checked a few times though and it isn’t there. Where else could it be? Stewie’s duck and Connie’s witch outfits are in my inventory with a padlock over them because I don’t have their characters yet, but no Consuela outfit 😦

I have wanted Consuela since the beginning, but was unwilling to drop all those clams on her, so I was VERY excited about the price drop! And her new costume is adorable! Great job, TinyCo! Though, I was kinda hoping Diabeto would be a playable character 😉

I tried winning Diabeto and was hoping for a rolling animation. Got Consuela costume after two buys. (I got Diabeto last after 3 sugar skulls). I then theorized that since I had the clams, I should put costume to use (and price drop helped). I just wish she didn’t pull functional characters into her questline. So far Brian and Bruce have wandered off from bomb and missle duty respectively.

I won the costume at the fifth try, but I’m really happy for Consuela’s discount! I had some clams to spare, so I bought her even before I won the costume, just so I could have a questline when the post-event depression strikes 😉

Target has all iTunes gift cards buy one get one 20% off (lower priced item will be 20% off). It’s not much but it may help if you are going to buy clams to get Consuela or any of the other premium characters or to stock up on clams before American Dad and Christmas events. I don’t know if this sale is available in all regions, so check with your local Target store.

What will we be able to keep after halloween/muertos event? I hate to see vials go to waste! Any Good advise on strategy to not waste time and effort between now and the dreaded end of this flippin awesome event?

In consuelas box I got deaths dog now I really want death and more land as I’ve cleared every inch in my quahog. I also want tiny co to make costumes for other characters especially paid ones like jake tucker could have a costume were his face is normal and they need to add more actions for them to do normal characters have more than 10 actions but paid characters have 5 I would love to see the brain damaged horse have an outside move with stewie were he licks a sugar cube off stewies head cos I find that scene so funny.

Had a friend who also plays and visiting and we were talking about how we both wanted Consuela when the costume popped. That and the sale on her made it a no brainer for both of us, I was just luckier and got two less sugar skulls.

I love the Dia de lost Muertos-Celebration! To me, living in Sweden, it was something almost unknown. I’d love to see more international weekends in Quahog.

You don’t need her to WIN the costume. You still need her in order to put the costume on her later. Her sale goes off with this special today. So once she it is gone, back to regular cost.

I got it but it took like 6 tries. I was glad there was something left to earn after I finished Freddy (so easy) and making everything from the cauldron so quickly. I got Consuela on sale the other day, it made her even more worth it with the DOD costume. I like it. 🙂

I have been playing quest for stuff for ages now, unfortunately I haven’t been able to play the Halloween quests. There seems to be a fault and when I try to play a message appears that there is no close button and my game restarts. I have contacted the company but they have been no help at all. I have tried clearing my cache, history turned my phone off, cleared all memory on my phone (a lot of pictures) still won’t work. Has anyone else had this problem? I haven’t played since the Halloween quest started because I cant and it’s annoying. Please help x
