Hey there Clammers. TinyCo has dropped a lil update into our games. Now it will take a while for all 3 markets to finally see this. So give it a lil time for it to hit your device completely.

FYI…UPDATING WILL NOT STOP HALLOWEEN EVENT. THAT DOES NOT END TIL TOMORROW. ONLY NEW FEATURES ADDED WITH THIS.
So what cool new items did this update bring to your game? Let’s dive in.
FIND CARL, WATCH VIDEOS, EARN CLAMS
(There is an issue with Android on the video they are working to correct, until then just wait a bit before being able to watch videos.)
First you will need to have unlocked at least to District 2 in order to get this option in the game. Once you have, if you take a peak around the Griffins, you will find Carl hanging out. If he is there, make him watch videos for a chance to earn some Free Clams. There will be a limit to this of how many you can watch daily, so if you do not see him you may have reached that limit and will have to wait til another day to do so.
NEW STORAGE INVENTORY TABS
This is something I personally requested for TinyCo to incorporate along with other players. A better way to see your storage. Well TinyCo has listened. They have introduced a more streamlined version of their Inventory…this time with tabs. Woohoo! So now you will be able to find those items tucked in there much easier.
STORE EVERYTHING
Another of my personal requests I was hoping they would initiate in the game along with other players. When you got a lot of “Stuff” and want to rearrange it to make your town look cool, it takes a LONG time to do so. Well TinyCo has once again listened to its players. The DECO or “Move” screen will now have the option to store everything in your game.
We of course will have a more detailed look and report on each of these cool new items. In the meantime, make sure you go to your App Market and download the latest Update for the game. Then keep an eye out for this and many more cool things to come.

Is there any chance you could ask tiny Co to let us have a break from events for a bit? I am getting a new device soon (more ram, woo!) and I wanted to put my town back together and clear some overdue tasks, but it looks like American Dad is just around the corner. I need time Damn it! 😃

That said, I am glad they got TBS to pony up ad money to give us the free clams in return for watching commercials. That’s a win/win that makes free to play more enjoyable!

Is it safe to buy clams because I went to update and all I saw was everyone saying tinyco revoked their clams due to suspission of hacking. Also I love american dad its like a diffrent kind of humor from family guy its like a snickers bar gets better with every bite.

Do not worry…those upset seem to yell the loudest, so right now they are the main ones being heard.
I bought 100$ for my games for the site, they are just fine. Just proceed as normal and go through the proper way of buying them from your App Market through the game. 🙂

The Party Pyramid and Active Volcano animated buildings from King Butt event aren’t animating anymore. They’re completely static. Do you know if this is this a known bug? I’ve updated the application.

It has been there since Portal 5. I assume to help with all the extra coding and to prevent glitches. Once the event is done, I will see if they return and go from there.

help…my quahog isn’t loading at all..I keep getting the network error message. …idk how to contact tiny co because my game isn’t loading at all and my their FB page isn’t loading either…I really really don’twant all my hard work.go to waste if the Halloween event ends before I finish it just because of the dang error message

Sounds like they added some useful new features. One feature I’d really like to see would be a way to jump to any specific character to see what they’re currently doing. Small buttons on the FaceSpace character list page could work well.

Nice new features. Winding down Halloween in my game now. All characters are back to their standard costumes as they become free and will be synchronized again this evening.
A slight letdown of the final phase is the Frankenstein Rupert box with its repetetive prizes. What am I supposed to do with 11 Grim Reaper Statues?

Ooh same here, I wanted more REDRUMs! I think it odd they didn’t allow duplicates of more non-clam buildings. I got doubles of various comic-con buildings because I like how they look, but the only Halloween building they seem to allow multiples of is the Mariners Hall, which is like the most boring of the bunch. I did brew some extra Freddy shacks, since I have extra vials and ingredients on hand. Oh, and I did/we can build multiple Hell Pits, even though I’m not in love with their look. I figure better to end up storing them than regret not getting them later.

There is another change with this update that I’ve noticed. If you have lots of characters in one spot instead of spreading the list across the whole screen it now has a smaller window that you can scroll through. Very nice especially for the Griffin house because a few times I’ve had so many people in there I can’t see them all.

I could be (and probably am) wrong, but for some reason I think Roger is going to have a part in the stolen Plutonium quest line. Stealing Plutonium is definitely in his wheelhouse, though he’d probably just think it was a fun toy that glowed.

I’m tempted to just sell off all my excess cauldron ingredients, rockets, and extra stuff an spend all my vials biying trees, bushes, and plants from the Halloween event. I’ve unlocked and have purchased all the buildings and decoration etc. I’m hesitating though because of tinycos tendency to spring one last thing on us at the last second. Do you know or foresee them throwing something else at us last second as usual or can I safely sell off everything and load up on those cool trees and decorations?

There is no Clam Cap. I think you may be misunderstanding the issue with hackers. Those that had THOUSANDS of illegally obtained clams were taken down to 250 and flagged. Outside that, just playing the game and buying them from your app market is just fine. My 3000+ of the 100$ deal I bought are hanging out just fine. 🙂

are we jumping right into the american dad event once the halloween event ends? i’m hoping not, i’m excited for the american dad event but i’d like to finish up the district 9 stuff that’s still lingering like the blimp & getting back the plutonium. a break (not a big 1, maybe aweek) to wind down & relax & clear any new land we might get (we sure as hell need more space!) would be nice.

Inventory storage tabs are a nice start, but as 99% of my items are decorations (the only thing that’s not at the moment is the cotton candy machines), they aren’t that helpful. Unfortunately, I don’t see a way to further breakdown the decorations as it currently stands. Still… PROGRESS!

It would be really cool if Tiny Co put in an asphalt option like how the have the roads so that you can kind of create parking lots so it doesn’t look like a bunch of hillbillies parking all over the lawn

I did find one bug that I think has been looming through at least the last update involving buying decos with Vials. I wanted to stock up on trees and bushes with spare Vials, but after buying some and placing them in storage they didn’t register in the game. My number amounts were the same, but I did figure out how to get around it. You have to place all the decos of the type you want to buy out before you buy more. The game will then count the new decos.

Can I get an exact time on when the halloween event will end tomorrow? I didn’t realize the new box would require the end of the Freddy quest line so I’ve spent all day finishing it up and now I have to wait until 8am (est) for Freddy to be done. I’ve saved up over 10k spirit vials for the new box and I’ll be so disappointed if it’ll end without me getting a chance at it without using my precious clams 😦

This is nothing to do with the update but I’ve notice Patrick Stewart is level 16 at the moment whereas others, apart from Peter, maxed out at 15. Any clue as to why this is please?

Most of the characters max out at level 15, with a couple exceptions. Peter, Mayor West, Tom Tucker, Vinny, Kool Aid Man, and the Comic Con characters. These characters can be leveled up to 25.

Havent updated to 1.4 yet, but that store everything option is in the form of a nuke button – with a warning beforehand before putting everything in inventory. A cool looking way to do that!

Nope. Once tapped you have to OK the option to Nuke. Even then…you gotta do it again. So they definitely added safety protocols to it.

Keep in mind Android users and Kindle are a bit delayed on it. Android mainly on the Carl option right now. I have the other two features on my Android devices now. Nuke option just updated to one of them. The other is still not quite there yet but the extra tab features in the inventory is.

Will updating the app remove the Halloween options? I’m finishing up the last quest with Bonnie to trigger the Franken-Rupert box. I have over 6,000 vials to use on the Franken-box and don’t want to lose them before I have a chance to use them if I update the app now.
