Hey there Clammers. I already updated this information on the main post, but figured I would make a separate post just in case. Carl has been released for Android!!
In order to be able to view him, make sure you go to the Google Play Market and update your Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff Game to the 1.4.1 Version to be up to date on the game and have the ability to see Carl. If you have technical issues like the video kicking you out, please report it.
Remember he is NOT a Character. Just a random guy that will pop in n out of your game whenever he feels like it. He also will NOT always have videos for you to watch. If you want more specific details on Carl, go to the original post HERE.

Ok. My husband and i are both playing family guy on our android phones. He gets call and the videos for clams but i don’t. I asked in the game but no response. Please let me know at what stage or questi will finally get to see videos for clams.

It is only in testing. Some see Carl… others just see a TV… but only a few select Players as previously it did not work. Once they know it works… they will launch it to ALL players. Until then… just those few testing it will have access.

Hello, Just wondering if there are any videos still playing with android. I ask because I haven’t seen carl in well over a week. When I received the update, I saw one video that day and then I think one more the next. That was it. My son plays on ios and he has been blessed with lots of carl clams and still gets them. So I was just wondering. Thanks

Strange, I’m able to view the videos but then my game locks up… Guess no free clams for this guy. On a side note this event is uninteresting and quite simply garbage.

Where did the Smith family go in my FaceSpace profiles? I get notifications about new unlocked characters for the Smith family but can’t clear the notification because I can’t see the Smith family.

The last few times Carl has appeared in my town, I click on him and the screen says, “sorry, no videos”

or get a “no video’s available ..” even if you never watched any.

My screen stays black after watching the movie and no clams are added. Already contacted tinyco. Hope they can fix this.

YES!! He is finally here! ^_^ Got 2 free clams a movie, total of 4 clams. Though after the second movie my game did crash. Lol. No biggie though since I still got them.
Just 2 Pink To-Do Lists, 6 Bubble-Bath Beards and 39 Clone DNA, until I unlock Bitch Stewie as well! It’s a good day. Lol. Maybe I will pay for clams to get Bitch Brian after all. So, getting Bitch Stewie is very feasible even for freemium players. It’s all about diligence.

I see Carl, and can watch a video, but after watching the video, the screen is dim, with the wobbling TV icon (like when you go to the face space pages), and it doesn’t do anything. I can hit the back button, and continue in game, but I don’t get the clams.

It did that to me too, but it eventually loaded. I just gave it a bit. Try again and if still same, report it please.

Looks like on my nexus 5 and 7, which are both running android 5.0, have the issue. My galaxy s4, which is still on android 4.4, works just fine. I’ll use my galaxy to get the clams until everything is working on my nexus devices.

Does the same for me on my nexus 5 running Android 5.0 Lollipop. Plus it’s freezing all the time, constant frame rate/lag issues. Same for you on Nexus?

My game occasionally force closes. No error, just goes back to my home screen. I have some lag on my nexus 7 (2013), but none on my nexus 5.

Reporting it is the best option right now. They need to look into it.
Outside that, all I can suggest is make sure everything on YOUR side is functioning. Make sure you are on good strong WiFi to allow the videos to load. Data plans can be sketchy. Try basic troubleshooting to see if it makes a diffference

For all those still not getting Carl, read this post all the way through… if you don’t read all posts completely, TinyCo will know and will punish you in your game. Also, it is quite important to make sure your device is turned on… I cannot stress this enough 😱
