So you have up to 3 returning Characters in the game to collect items for, but with the changes you are unsure WHO drops WHAT and need some guidance. Well, we are here to help as usual. 😉

Non stop ankh collecting since start and with 5 tasks I’m gonna fall 8-12 short, now I wish I didn’t have meg help because now I might fall a machete short also and only get 1 of the 3 this was with getting 5 costumes/skins from mystery boxes and Fillion. After the supposed drop rate increase I had a full 2 day streak of zero ankhs. Very unhappy here.

Finally got Mr.Weed so now I have officially unlocked all 3 characters for the event. The teddy bears took the longest. I made peter and quagmire do nap time and the screwdrivers dropped every time. I didnt have any issues with the machettes at all. I think they dropped about once with meg or seamus each time, if not both. Im glad that events over so I can get back on pantucket pat. I would like to unlock him quickly before the v day event but I still need 7 more hats and 2 more chumbawamba flutes..Lol I doubt thats gonna happen but no biggie Im up for the challenge

Good morning. I appreciate you guys allowing us to obtain past characters first and foremost BUT i think its unfair. Heres why. Certain characters like George Takei and Mr.Weed were provided to us on later dates but still set as the same deadline as King Butt. I would ought to believe more time will be given for characters released later. It would be nice if a later expiration date can be given. It can go accordingly to how many days each character was released after the accouncement just to give everybody a chance. Thanks for reading

I got takei And Mr .weed today and I need 14 ankh and 4 screwdrivers for king butt ,but after reading in the comments he only has 4 tasks it don’t mean to much.BIG but here though could tinyco possibly think about releasing the entire gang of characters from Cleveland show all freemium characters.oh and original family guy Cleveland Jr as a costume change for Cleveland show Cleveland Jr.

PS everyone’s game is different for everyone and so some people haven’t even had the chance to unlock that or reach some of the levels that most people have so it is very kind of TinyCo to give people the opportunity Yes to get things and maybe they weren’t even playing the game when it happened so I’m sorry about Jesus I did not get him either

somehow on my gameI did not get Takai til a while after last week had started and it seems that from the time that I got the last 2 characters Mr weed and to Chi that I do not have enough time to even get those characters even when I was working on it all day everyday when I had a second I do have a job so it is really hard to deal with this game and not have other things to do. I can understand that you were really hard working on your stuff first time around but this game is not very good for people with stuff to do like work or live.

FYI. The original King Butt event, i was on holidays and on 24 FG hours a day just to get KB, Yet i missed out. The only other character to be like this was Jesus.

haha that is funny cuz I have been working everyday of the week on this except for on last think it was like Wednesday or Tuesday when the game wouldn’t even load for a full half day so I feel like we’ve had under a week to get all these items with not enough time unless I’m going to wake up in the middle of the night to check my phone which I just this is becoming ridiculous see too much at times and it’s frustrating for people who like the game but feel sucked into all these last minute things.

I wish everyone would stop whining. I mean if you didnt get the character the first time around its your own fault. Takei and weed were difficult but i got them a week before the end of the comic con and Halloween events easily and i dont spend money at all.
As for king butt, well if you haven’t got him yet its your own fault. I got him on the third day. Seriously if you think hes hard now, you should have tried getting him with Jell-O shots and moon idols. If this time is hard for you i would have hate to have seen you in that event. The problem was that everyone was working so hard to get Cleveland that we ignored the Jell-O shots (later needed to unlock butt) and didn’t find out he was going to be an added character til 5 days before the end. Had i slacked off, i would have got him. Tinyco dont need to rerelease content. My only question is… Where is Jesus? The only character i never got after slaving away in the Christmas event and why is rollocop a premo. They should have release rollo and gold suit for all devices for a limited time for free.

It’s hardly my fault I missed these characters when I wasn’t even playing the game when they were released…. I appreciate TinyCo giving everybody a second chance but the whole point in a game is to enjoy playing it, and when most of these characters are unobtainable without spending real money, it sort saps the enjoyment out…. 😦

Just kidding…sort of. The game really does work out differently for all of us. King Butt is the only character released in this event that I don’t have. I don’t really care if I get him or not, but it is frustrating to do a task over and over for a week and still fall way short of a needed item. This forum lets people vent a little when things don’t work out for the, and let’s them see that other people are in the same boat.
If you really want everyone to stop whining, why don’t you lead by example?

I’m only collecting for King Butt. Have been since he was released. Had everyone who can collect screwdrivers doing nothing else since. Still only got 3 out of the 5! and only 7 ghosts from constant rounds of Bonnie and Jerome. Less that a day left now, so I’m not holding out much hope.
If I miss out on King Butt here. That’s it for me and this crashes every two minute game and Tiny Co’s not answering in game messages policy. It’s just not fun anymore.

If you didnt get the option, that is only due to you already had him. Otherwise… he should be in your inventory with the Phone booth to buy the Booth for $1000 and start his collection of Materials.

Once the drop rates increased, I had no problem getting King Butt unlocked. I got almost everything for Mr. Weed except 5 more machetes. Those are the worst since there’s only two characters that can drop them.

I managed to unlock King Butt this morning, with the pyramid going and being replaced by a gold Peter statue that kicks out coins and XP every 2 hrs.
no way am i going to get Takei or Weed due to no bears being given out on freemium characters, which i find disgusting. Tried my best but got 1 bear when i needed about 9.
also spent 30 clams on Tom Tucker box and got the Peterang, which normally is 50 clams, nice but not really worth it.
oh well onwards and upwards i suppose..

got King Butt this morning. (was surprised to see the pyramid vanish but I already had one from the event – & got the gold statue I was missing so for me it works out but I could see some people missing that).
now trying for Takei. Got all the bears but need more ankhs & 2 chairs. But now I can start earning bubbles or whatever to unlock Pat again.

I got King Butt last night, but Take I looks to be impossible. I currently have 7 Ankhs and still need 21 more in 24 hours with only 5 able to do it. That means everyone would have to drop all the time for me to get him. I plan to use Clams to speed up Francis with his task being 4 hours.
It was a bad idea for TinyCo to re-release characters stagnated daily with the same end time. Each one should have had the same amount of time to get.

I’ve got all the items for the 3 characters except anks…I only have 25 anks. Only character that I have that isn’t a base character or skin is Nathan fillion cuz me and my wife love firefly. I wish they would extend this event a couple days. I unlocked Mr weed. But will only be able to get king but or George takai. I want George but from what I’ve read on this site. King was harder to get so less likely to get in a later event…idk what to do. Any advice

Just continuously send any and all characters you can to earn them over and over. The longer and joint tasks will have better odds of drops.

I do that, the only problem is I only have Lois, Chris, and Nathan fillion who can get anks. I make them work nonstop. But great game non the less.

Out of all 3 characters(King Butt, Takei, Mr. Weed), which help you with drop items in the game? Im debating which one I might have to sacrifice just in case I don’t get enough items for all three.

So second attempt for king butt (i failed when he was here first time) and still no where near. About 20 ankhs away and 4 ghosts. I managed to get George but only buy paying for the items via clams. Wish this event was extended as i have every other character and skin, but have no more clams for king butt😢

Got King Butt earlier today. The drop rate on those ghosts was pretty bad.
I got the Ankhs in plenty of time, mainly due to having all the characters and costumes needed apart form Bryan Cranston. I didn’t even notice Peter had a much shorter task for his bikini costume.

Been playing none stop all weekend. Only collected 2 Bears, 3 Machetes and 18 Ankhs, 2 of which finished up King Butt Sunday morn, FINALLY. have only collected 2 more Ankhs and nothing else since then.
I have 7 characters on Ankhs, the only 2 characters on Machetes and 5 on Bear. After collecting all money and sending everyone on tasks, I exit the game, close all programs, clear memory and often restart my phone.
You’d think with all the “Glitches” that hinder our collection of items, they would extend the deadline a few more days.

I finally got king butt this morning (ghosts took forever). I’m trying to get George Takei now. I have all of the chairs and the Ancas are dropping well.. I’m sure I will get enough (I’m at 18/28). I need two more teddy bears.. I havnt gotten a single bear in the last 2 days.. so I’m concerned! Fortunately, I got mr. Weed during the halloween challenges. For those of you struggling with the pens. . I had a hard time at first.. but use the 6 hour Peter with brian task.. I got a pen every single time with that (I forget.. there was a 4 hour challenge with just brian or just peter.. but I didn’t get a single pen with that task.. but the 6 hour one got me the pens )

I followed ALL of Bunny’s suggestions, but none were successful (though the thoughts were helpful and hopefully would help other players)

The pyramid disappears after king butt has been collected. You only keep the pyramid if you don’t unlock king butt.

Just got Mr Weed. Did not get 50 clams for completing the dead set. Re-booted a few times and still no clams. Sent ticket. Just curious if anyone else was having that problem.
Waiting on Stewie to finish hypnotizing the geeks so Lois can clear them so I can unlock District 9! Hoping to get Vinny going while there is nothing else going on Yet.

I really wish they would extend this event even with the drop rates increased. I am having a hard time getting anything to drop except sonic screw drivers. I know they are epic but they have dropped quicker for me since the drop rates have been raised than anything else with only Peter/Quagmire quest for them. Teddy bears are next to impossible to get I’ve had 2 drop since George Takei and Mr Weed debuted. Ankas seem lower to drop since it took me till Saturday to get King Butt and still have 14 to go for George.

REALLY dislike that the only characters who drop Ghosts are Bonnie and Jerome, and they BOTH also drop the Chumbawumba Flutes. So, each time their tasks are run, either one of them may drop either a Flute OR a Ghost indiscriminately (or nothing at all, of course). I’d really have preferred at least one character who can drop ONLY Ghosts or that the programming be updated for these two so they would drop ONLY Ghosts while this current event is active and then switch back to dropping Flutes after the current event ends.

I found that by far, the joint task of Peter and Quagmire Take a Nap produced sonic screwdrivers at least 75% of the time. I would say that the only reason the ghosts are “extra rare” is due to basically two freemium tasks associated with them. Overall though, thank you so much, TinyCo, your generosity is so appreciated!!

At first I had high hopes of getting are three characters … I thought it was going to be no problem when I got all the screwdrivers fairly quickly … however, I’m now not sure I will get even one … but if I do I hope it’s George … drop chairs, drop!

I already got King Butt this past weekend before the Superbowl (Congrats Pats), I believe I have a shot at either George Takei or Mr. Weed, might not get both by the end of tomorrow.

The screwdrivers were the easiest item for me to get. The ghosts were giving me trouble until they upped the drop rate. Now here is where I’m struggling. I only have 14 ankh. 14! I spent 250 clams on boxes, but sadly my characters weren’t able to perform the needed tasks right away. There is no way I will get King Butt or George Takei despite starting this quest on day 1 and grinding an average of 10x/day. I’m hoping this event is extended. By the time I go to bed tonight I’ll have all the items I need for all 3 characters, however, it is impossible for me to get enough ankh using only my two freemium characters. I’m sad for all the work I’ve been doing, but I’d prefer to not to pay clams for more skins. Specifically ones I’m not interested in.

Really wish the boxes were split. One box with the characters and the other two boxes with just the costume. Finally, have enough points for a box, but really only want/need the characters as costumes don’t move me. Did not want to wast on a costume for a character that already has a task in the contest and need to be focused on the job at hand.
Collecting of the items is about manpower the more and varied characters you have on the task the easier to get the job done.Otherwise, It’s near impossible. Just started this game Thanksgiving and have my character unlocked to Stewie (4 plutonium more and he is up and running).
Even though a Freemium player, I did get the die hard guy and one of the cheaper Kiss guys (my late sisters favorite band) and would of splurged on a new character, especial at the 125 clams. Oh well.

Oh and the chair and the bear in my game are near impossible. The Anka started picking up last night up to a whopping 14 now. WOOT! WOOT! LOL.
Been playing around the clock. Oh, Herbert is useless, Jerome drops kept getting stuck in his fro and Trisha lost all her drops in the crash, save one. Thankfully, Seamus throw me a leg now and the and Mort on rare occasion upchucks an item.

How do you keep track of progress on King Butt? When I collect the ankhs, screwdrivers and ghosts; it doesn’t show them going towards anything on the top corner of screen.

You tap on the Pyramid you purchased to start the collection. It will tell you where you are.

Higher times yield higher chance of a drop. So it allows a player a variety of options to try depending on WHO they have Character wise in their town and WHO they are trying to earn for.

I’m really close to getting George Takei, but unless they extend the event I probably won’t have a shot. Not enough captain’s chairs. Even further away from King Butts with ghosts.

Ive got King but on Saturday I just need 2 teddy bears, 2 chairs and 4 machettes and ill have unlocked all 3 characters with out using the mystery boxes. The bears take the longest to drop.

I love the second chance to get these characters – but it seems the drop is just terrible (at least for me) on the Screwdriver. I know it’s Epic, but i have only received 2 out of about 40-50 missions. Is that about right?

I got 3 screwdrivers on 3 consecutive tasks, yea me right, I got Mr. Weed. But I really wanted George takai and I have only gotten 16 anks and even if they dropped 100% of the time until tomorrow I wouldn’t have enough.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m having the worst time trying to get those screwdrivers to drop. Since the Best of 2014 started I’ve only gotten 3. I’m doubtful that I’ll get the remaining ones needed. My drops for the chairs and bears are not that great either. I send my characters on 2 hour tasks after every attempt and it does not seem to be helping.

The joint task for screwdrivers with Peter and Quagmire has been recommended a number of times. Worth a try if you can’t get drops I went 3 for 3 with it.

I opted for KB and was delighted to discover I had even more stuff to collect! Almost there, but ghosts are proving the hardest – only two characters can deliver for me, but their drops are split with flutes for Pat, and both need 6 hrs…. I still need 3 ghosts, despite Bonnie tweaking her butt off and Jerome is looking tired! It was a bit harsh to have this timed, so I have asked Tiny if they could look at easing the drop rate on the last day. I think they forget that, with some of the longer tasks, those of us who work often only get one or two chances to reset during 24 hours!

The one question I have is why the Ghostbusters aren’t used to get King Butts’ ghosts. Seems perfect to me.
