Because the hints don’t really mean much. They’re just randomly there, you don’t get any thing extra for completing them. They’re just hints to guide you to the prizes/hearts. But completing them won’t necessarily clear them. And you may see the same ones repeat themselves

Ahh wanna cry. Just started working in Cheryl Tiegs this morning and accidentally used 150 clams just now to unlock her. Hope we don’t need many clams this week for any new stuff that comes on Thursday. So sad.

I meant it in the literary sense. As in they walk around then stand still for 10 seconds before doing anything. Just sucks that I can’t seem to collect enough of anything with crashing on tap of these annoying PDA couples. I’m to the point of restarting my phone before logging in. Still no hope. At least with bombingthings in the past they came out in waves. No timer that is reset when I crash not allowing me to progress.

Try storing some buildings and decos not in use or any other walking characters you dont need in the game.

So finally got 200 hearts today but I didn’t get koolaid man’s girlfriend. I got the final hearts when I completed a date at the café with Meg & Chris and no dialogue box saying I completed Lois’s quest line. Any clue what happened? And what is koolaid man’s girlfriend a decoration or a person?

I just unlocked Glenda but don’t see her walking around? Also can you spend Ida and Glenda on 2 separate clear perfume tasks at once?

Glenda is a costume for Quagmire as it IS Quagmire… so you have to put the costume on him in order to see Glenda.
As far as Perfume Sprayers … if there is more than one currently in your town… you can send any of the 3 to clear them. Glenda, Ida, and Arnold.

Is there a pre requisite for Cheryl’s bench and the perfume sprayers? Have nearly finished main quest line (am on the part where chris goes on coffee date). And have acquired Quagmire’s skin. Was wondering what is reason for delay on my end. Next part is about to be released and haven’t even started on obtaining this char.

Is there a list anywhere with the required number of hearts/broken hearts for each prize? I’m currently at 125 broken hearts for the insane asylum, but I don’t want too many, as I will need hearts for hot Meg…

I am upset because I cannot get lois to date…the reason because I still need to get rid of wizards..and why because im still trying to get Stewie(he needs to participate in a quest BEFORE I can get to part 6).
I still need 2 items because I need him for the 2nd to last quest to clear them. And if course lois is always needed for something lately.
Please have MORE characters do quests and keep the quests at a max of 6 hrs( when you need them to get rare items) ..
WHY are most of the characters soo useless during quests and contests?
I dont understand why Lois cannot do multiple tasks.as anyone knows who is currently or has finished Stewie he takes FORVER to finish and when only 2 characters can be used and it takes like 32 hrs to get 1 item.
So I will not be able to get the lois and Peter item.
Please in the future, keep the characters who need that rare item to 6 hrs and not have them wait 8 hrs. I had to get 10 of these rare items

Do you want to know the only reason I won’t spend real money on this game…and why I have and will contnue to spend real money on The Simpsons Tapped Out??? One word…LAND. There is no way I’m gonna spend real money to buy something that I have to put in inventory because there isn’t enough land to display everything. Even after all this time…Tapped Out just released more land. Come on Tiny Co…to me there isn’t really any point in playing just so you can put stuff in inventory…and def not with real money. Just sayin’

Lol. We hear the same “more land” complaints over there too. Even with the new stretch. Thing is… it took TSTO a LONG time to get to the Land they have. A VERY long time. A year between the last two releases in fact. TinyCo is taking it slow to help the game stay stable. More will come in time. 😉

I really feel like tinyco is trying to strong arm me into buying Clams,if I don’t buy them I miss out on a bunch of stuff. I understand that they need to make money on their game but it is counter productive to try and push them on me. I would be more likely to purchase Clam’s if I didn’t feel like they are baiting me. Sometimes it just isn’t possible to buy Clams right now I’m between paychecks.

Well if something was “wanted” it would not be worth buying, right? It is the same as a new iPhone or other device. If it’s popular, there is a chance there will be a price on it. Does not meant you HAVE to buy it, it always has been and always will be YOUR choice.
Look at it this way… if you want to buy a home, you can go for a simple one that will work just fine and serve its purpose as shelter for the family… or you can spend Hundreds of thousands more to get the more luxurious home with lots of extra perks. It is a matter of what YOU want to spend. What YOU can afford.
Freemiums have tons to pick and choose from. Always have, always will. Premiums have the option for MORE and they should as they are paying to keep the game alive so therefor they get the more “luxurious” items.
Do not ever feel like you HAVE to buy something. ALWAYS your choice. Make sure it is worth it to YOU to get it. 3 months from now will you still be happy with it?

Since the beginning, I have been buying the Valentines Gazebos again and again, since you can build as many as you want. I had nothing else to spend the valentines cards on, (besides the few required purchases) and since the gazebos pay out hearts (12 every 8 hrs) I decided to ‘earn interest’ on my money. If you can click 3 times a day, the Gazebos will pay for themselves in about 5 days.
At this point I am now up to 30 gazebos and generate over 1080 hearts for a full day just form that. Every 8 hours I earn enough to build two new gazebos (I have two workers). I only have an account balance of 385 cards at this moment, but no more workers to send out. I will be saving up enough today and tomorrow to free Glenda and buy Lois’s Cookie Factory.
Any clue of all of these valentine cards are going to be worthwhile?

Awww just looked at the post on the meet and greet. Hopefully the next one will be in Las Vegas, NV or Southern CA. I also feel special when Bunny or Alissa reply back to me. It is the same feeling I would get if a celeb responded to me on Twitter.

Go what ever reason my game has been giving me 10 love couples and only 6 hate couples for the only prize that I actually want the hate side. Anyone else have this problem?

So I wasn’t able to play the game for a few days because it kept freezing up giving an error message. I was almost done with unlocking Ida, only needed 2 more handbags I think. This morning it worked again, the game said I could still unlock Ida for 17 Clams. But I accidentally tapped next to the message, how do get it back and still unlock Ida?

There’s no way in the game to do that. My suggestion would be to contact TinyCo and let them know what happened. They’re the only ones that can bring her back

Do you think at the end of the event TinyCo might offer all the prizes you didn’t win to be purchased using clams or something? Bc choosing between hot meg and cupid is going to be hard since I want both unless cupid is just a decoration…if not in willing to spend clams to get him.

What really grinds my gears is this damn Pawtucket event long after completed. I created every item in the list and my characters still have the option to collect stuff for those. I cleared all the wonka wonkas… It won’t go away!!!

well on my way to getting Kool-aid Man’s girlfriend with 116 love hearts lol. Also, I was just wondering how much of a hard time it’s gonna be with trying to get the Ho Meg’s skin imagining how much its gonna cost!! probably well over 500 Love hearts?! 😦 ugh. hopefully everybody has a real good chance at getting it, especially the ones who haven’t bought a bunch of clams like me. I only have been collecting hearts from love couples and sending people on coffee dates who will give out love hearts. *fingers crossed* tho for sure! ❤

I wonder how many players are deleting the game since it is constantly crashing and TinyCo does not seem to want to deal with the crashing or the players that are being ignored in communication efforts? Seven people including myself deleted the game so far.

NOT me i know that and my game crashes on a regular basis. at least 5 times a day, but it doesn’t bother me because I can always get back in to play and it goes totally fine!!
TinyCo. have put out numerous updates for the crashing so I don’t understand why people are still putting them down like this! One of the best gaming companies I’ve ever heard of because of the basic and simple FACT that they listen to their players feedback 100% of the time and constantly CHANGING stuff in the game to make everything easier to gain and unlock! My question is if you have deleted the game and don’t play it anymore, why is this still an issue? bingo! caught you haha you’re still playing it don’t lie hehehe 😉

i’m getting pretty close to writing off the valentine event because of the constant crashes interfering with me collecting hearts. they seem to be dragging their feet updating their code for the android update. you’d think if you restart the game immediately you’ll still have the clock ticking on the couples but nope.. gotta wait till they respawn. waste of my time right now.

Sometimes you can earn up to 12. So keep collecting until they disappear.

Yep! I switched to hate hearts for the asylum and the love couples are not disappearing even when they’re the only ones left. I’m wondering if it’s a glitch. When I was getting love hearts the others always disappeared. I’ve tried this a few times now and thought maybe I was missing a broken heart couple but nope. Something’s definitely up.

You know what really grinds my gears? Handmade Valentines. Don’t get me wrong, they come in handy. But in what sounds like a 1st world problem, I have over 15,000 of them (thanks to a delivery drone and statue and various other actions). I suspect others have quite a few also.
I hope something really expensive comes along to use them on. They keep accumulating! Or perhaps there will be an exchange at the end of this event.
I have heard that there was an exchange during Christmas for gingerbread men that were left over, but can’t find any details on it. Does anyone recall a previous situation?

The “exchange” was a mystery box available after the event was over for the Christmas currency you had left over. Each box was 10k I had about 115k so I had 11 goes. You could win snowman two reindeer and mall santas as walking decos (won 3/4) or clams (won none) or coins which I hit a few times or materials for the current skin which was a Jillian one at the time

If you’re a premium player who bought the love drone or such than I guess you would have a lot. But as a freemium player, it’s a struggle to get them. I mean it’s not like I can’t gain enough, but I haven’t gotten over 1000 yet. A mystery box or something would still be cool, but 15,000 seems a lot.

It’s not. I’m coming up on 25k myself, mainly because of the drone. Had I known they would be underutilized like this, I probably wouldn’t have messed with Brian’s Mystery Box in the first place. The currency generators from Halloween (the lab) and Christmas (gingerbread mansion) came in really handy, but this has yet to do much to his point.

my bf is still trying to complete the first phase of the game. he’s almost to unlocking Ida with about 2 days left and he doesn’t have the cafe opened or anything that comes with the second phase of the event!
SOOOO* being the great girlfriend I am (lol) I’m trying to catch him up on everything! I’ve been playing on his game ALL weeknd and still haven’t really unlocked anything new yet. I’m trying still really hard.

Just Wondering if anyone else would find this helpful…a character tracker would come in handy just to know how long until say Bruce is going to be kitten pickin so you can combine him and vinny, ALSO when you nuke instead of the entire town why not district by district??? JUST MY OPINION TINYCO

Is the dropping rate of pepper sprays uncommon or extreamely rare? because I ve collected the rest two days now for unlocking Glenda but those pepper sprays jeez… its been two days im sending and sending the charecters for coffee dates…. my story line cant go forward without Glenda 😦

I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but when I had sent Chris and Herbert for a date or a walk I’ve gotten a clam, and also when I’ve visited Ollieland. My clam count shows for example 100 clams, and without spending clams I close the game. When I get back on my game after a couple of hours the count shows 99 clams. I don’t know why is this happening since I haven’t spent anything. Any thoughts of what this could be?

I had this happen too!! I thought it was weird. I figured maybe I accidentally double clicked some house or task and spent one. Later though when I was rewarded a golden clam for something else, the clam thst went missing came back. Let me know if this happens to you, too.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the hair straighteners? I realize it’s rare.. and I’m glad the costume isn’t timed so I’m not worried.. just surprised at how rare it is. Been trying to get straighteners since the first day of week 2.. I only have one so far but have everything else already for the costume. Cheers!

What’s the difference between Beer Nuts & Deer Nuts? Beer Nuts cost about $2.50 and Deer Nuts, are just under a buck!

Especially the ones with the opposite heart that walk in front of the couple you are trying to click. I must have “lost” about 50 hearts to nulification (1 love + 1 hate = 1 less heart towards the goal).

I suggest you add another piece of road. That happened to me a lot when I had but one road piece, a second helped but a third made it MUCH easier

I also discovered that if you widened the road and made it a 2X6 that you have plenty of room for the roamers (like Chumba Wamba’s, cattle, Geeks, and snot-nosed brats) that you have a better chance of getting the one you’re looking to eliminate.
