UPDATE 5/8: Per TinyCo the Turbolift & Replicator were not supposed to be in the Inventory. A patch is coming to resolve the issue.
UPDATE 1015PM EST: ALL Major Error Messages should now be resolved. Already messaged them on the Turbolift & Replicator Image. Will update with results on what I get back on it.
UPDATE: Event is now over, but seeing a few reports trickling in of Connect Errors once it ended. Keeping an eye on it and sending all reports to them. Will report if we see anything else.
I assume it is everyone trying to get into their games now to see what is left. Lol. 😉
TinyCo just confirmed, a mad rush on the servers caused a “traffic jam”. They are working on the Connect Error. Also, Tapping on Troi in the Inventory kicks you out of the game. They are also working on that. Hang in there.
FYI, all your Event Characters are in your Inventory Storage.

Hey there Tribblemakers!
Here we are, a bit over a month later and the really cool Star Trek Event is about to be leaving our silly lil games. What should you do to prepare yourself? Well they already gave us an extension moving the Original April 30th End Date to TODAY… MAY 7th, 3PM PDT.
Yesterday we even received a reminder pop up in the game that it will all be going TODAY MAY 7TH 3PM PDT…
When you go into your game and tap on the Event Starfleet XP Icon, you will go to the Main Event Menu and see the timer (though it still shows the older date). You will be able to see there the EXACT amount of time YOU have left to complete the Star Trek Event. Still Ending TODAY 3PM PDT !
This additional Pop Up also showed in our games before the Event ended. Still Ending TODAY 3PM PDT !
With it all about to go, let’s take a look at just what you may want to do before the Event Ends.
All of the information is the details we have as of THIS post. 😉
GET ALL CHARACTERS YOU WANT
In order to keep an Event Character, they need to be “active” in your game. This means you need to have COMPLETELY unlocked them and placed them into your game. In Inventory Storage is fine as we know some of you are waiting on unlocking Stewie to use his Talosian Costume, but in Inventory is still considered active in the game.
Make sure you Purchased all the Characters you wanted. Spending Clams is YOUR choice, but make sure you snag them BEFORE the Event Ends.
Make sure you collected all the Materials for Characters you wanted and have gone to Al’s to “Create” them. (As long as you started that timer, it will complete after but you HAVE to start that timer BEFORE the Event ends. They’re only 10 minutes so give yourself time to make them all.)
Make sure you won the Characters out of the Mystery Box or Planets you wanted.
ANY CHARACTERS/COSTUMES NOT “ACTIVE” IN YOUR GAME WHEN THE EVENT ENDS WILL GO WITH THE EVENT.
GET ALL THE BUILDINGS YOU WANT
There were many Buildings released throughout the Event. In the Shopping Cart Menu, in the Replicator, and even in the Mystery Boxes.
So make sure you check all over to get the Buildings you want to keep in your Quahog. (If you already started building something and the timer is running down, it will complete just fine after the event.)
ANY BUILDINGS NOT PLACED IN YOUR GAME OR IN YOUR INVENTORY WHEN THE EVENT ENDS WILL GO WITH THE EVENT.
GET ALL THE DECORATIONS YOU WANT
There were many Decorations released throughout the Event. In the Shopping Cart Menu, in the Replicator, and even in the Mystery Boxes.
So make sure you check all over to get the Decorations you want to keep in your Quahog. (Remember if you are buying multiples of one item to leave them ALL in town til you get what you want, then story them. Otherwise once you hit around 25, it will start pulling them back out and not let you store anymore.)
ANY DECORATIONS NOT PLACED IN YOUR GAME OR IN YOUR INVENTORY WHEN THE EVENT ENDS WILL GO WITH THE EVENT.
GET ALL THE MOVING DECORATIONS YOU WANT
Moving Decorations are a way of having something almost like a Character, but no tasks or anything associated. This Event has brought many in various locations around. Make sure you get all the ones you want. My favorites so far are the Borg Kitty and the lil Tribble Army I acquired in the Rupert Mystery Box.
ALL MOVING DECORATIONS WILL GO WHEN THE EVENT GOES
GET ALL THE ENTERPRISE ROOMS YOU WANT
We were told that the Enterprise Rooms we got would be placed into our games in the form of a Decoration once the Event Ends. Just how that all will work, we will find out AFTER the Event.
For now, just go back aboard and double check to ensure you got at least one of any Enterprise Room you wanted for this.
ANY ENTERPRISE ROOMS NOT ACQUIRED WILL GO WHEN THE EVENT ENDS.
USE YOUR MATERIALS
We have lots of Materials we earned throughout this Event. Dilithium Crystals, Synthesizer Ore, Dark Matter, and Phaser/ Transporter/ Life Support Energy. Use up what you can on any of the items above.
ANY LEFTOVER MATERIAL WILL GO WHEN THE EVENT ENDS.
FINISH UP QUESTLINES
Pretty much all the MAIN questlines for the Event go with the Event. Per TinyCo…
Only specific character questlines will remain after the event. Players will be able to continue the quests for Spock, Worf, Guinan, Edo Herbert, Q, Klingon Meg, Kirk, Scotty, Borg Consuela, Khan, Pike Joe, Uhura, and Seven of Nine. Part of Talosian Stewie’s questline will stick around as well
So if you wanted to see the dialog play out on the questlines and have some excess time to do so, go for it. If you are still focused on using those Characters for other things, then don’t worry about them.
COMPLETE TASKS BEFORE END TIME
We know many of you like to cut it REALLY close to the end to get those last minute items. Remember, it will take time to complete items, tap the Check Marks, Create, Build, etc. So my suggestion is set your timers to complete tasks at LEAST 30 minutes to an hour BEFORE the Event Ends. That will give you enough time to finish it all up and still look around to see if there was anything else you missed last minute before it all goes.
GET SOME CLAMS
If you have some extra Transporter Energy and fully upgraded on your Warp Cores, take some tries at the Borg Cube Planet. You may be able to get some extra Clams into your Game.
SPEND CLAMS???
We always state this and repeat it many many times… Spending Clams is YOUR choice. Do not ever feel you HAVE to do so. It has always been and will always be in YOUR hands to make that decision. Just ensure you are fully aware of the consequences and know that it is something YOU want to do before going ahead. Will YOU still be happy with that purchase 3 months from now?
That all being said, using Clams to speed up items last minute to pull them into your game before the Event ends is going to be up to YOU. Just make sure if you make that choice, do so by spending the LEAST amount of them you can. For instance… see if you can get the Material Cheaper on a direct buy out. See if it is cheaper to speed up a Character or Room instead. See if waiting til the task is under an hour will offer you cheaper speeding options. Simple things like that.
WHAT ABOUT THE TASKS ON ENTERPRISE?
There will be a way they will transfer and integrate into Quahog. We will have more details on this for you once the Event Ends and we verify it all and the new locations.
WILL THE ENTERPRISE STAY?

So take a few minutes and check all over Quahog and the Enterprise to ensure you got all you want. Come 3PM PDT TODAY… it will all go.

Hey guys! I have some quest lines left over since I was just working on getting “the stuff.” I’m on Hard Data Part 3 and locotus needs to pick his metal wedgie. He is now on his third attempt to get that wedgie but it won’t clear out and give me the check mark to progress. Any ideas?? Thanks for all your help this event! If it wasn’t for you guys I would still be trying to get Deanna! Haha!

Hmmmmm odd. Try to clear the task by the pop up instead of check mark to see if that makes a difference. If not, please let them know from your game.

Contacted them about the same issue this morning. They got back to me a few hours ago and said they pushed a patch for it. After that it worked! 🙂 Good thing too. Poor Locutus was picking wedgies for the better part of a day lol

Can’t wait until they fix the game. I was able to log in and click the button to reload after the event ended, but have been unable to get into the game since. Per TinyCo’s crash suggestions for this issue, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Does anyone else not have the ability to send the star trek characters on quests? They show up in my facespace section, but they are not in my town, in both of my games. Troi showed up in one, but Riker, crusher and locutus are nowhere to be found.

So, anyone else got a bugged item? When I reloaded after the event, I received in inventory all the Enterprise rooms I built and a blank item (no name or description), with the picture of the Beer factory, and when placed it looks like the Replicator.
Any way to get rid of it (can’t sell it).
I did also received a bugged quest with Peter asking me to rebuild Harrington’s to unlock the Star Trek Event (before the servers overloaded), but that’s gone.

OMG I’m soooooooooooooooooooooooo bored!!!
with all the games i play… i play this game the most. so after grinding through the event (which i personally love) it suuuuuuuuucks when there isn’t anything to do……… sigh
i stopped playing the Simpsons… i liked the game a lot but i stopped watching the show back in like 1995 😐 … i started watching when they were on the Tracy Ulman (spelling?) show back in high school. anyhoo, I’m originally from Massachusetts and Family Guy humor is right up my alley (except the whole fight gag… it was funny the first 50 times Seth time to bury that horse). i think they just do it now when they don’t have enough content for a 20 minute show… lets throw in a 5 minute fight!
but i digress…
so bored…
i spent a ton this event… over $100 which to me is odd because i don’t spend… wont even buy a game… all mine are free “with in app purchases” bla bla… the way i see it is this… i play this game every day… heck multiple times a day. so to me spending 2 maybe 3 hundred a year on something i enjoy daily… it’s a no brainer. Less than a buck a day! Hells bells some people buy a Starbucks almost daily… 4 or 5 bucks a whack! 20 to 30 bucks a week (are you a tipper?)… times the quotant, over the divided by fraction, minus the abacus and carry the 5 equals about $1000 bucks on something you pee out an hour or two later….
OMG i just realized something… OMG you guys!….. this app is the new and much cheaper cigarette!!!

Smokers will know… you wake up in the morning and grab a smoke… i wake up and play FG… throughout the day i stop what im doing and take “smoke” breaks… after dinner… before bed! Family Guy Quest For Stuff is my new Marlboro Light.

Although I’m guessing this will just get deleted again for not being a Tiny fanboy…Still not sure how someone can spend $50 on an event, play every day 10+ times a day and STILL not get everything. There is something seriously wrong with that. The only thing that makes sense is it took a long time to unlock the event at the beginning. Took me about a week to get enough tribbles. Assumed everyone took this long, but starting to think I had a glitch day one that set me way back.
Other than being cool to own, the premium characters did practically nothing. Maybe 20 total dark matter for what? 1000 clams? This is a repeat of Spanish Soap Opera for me…

Actually… your thoughts on the gaming house have nothing to do with the moderation… it is a ADDICTS Guideline violation that we post all over “keep to the subject”.
We get if you are upset or do not like something. That is fine. We know this will happen. We just ask you keep your “venting” OFF the helpful posts and only in What The Deuce posts. You are free to use them anytime during the week. We try to even put a new one up weekly. Keeping all the vents or thoughts in one place is to help ALL players.
Those coming to a post like this seeking info, not having to sift through anger and “hate” speak just to find an answer. It also allows us to bring focus to ONE Post showing players current thoughts on what’s happening in the game. I can’t tell a reader… “You will find your answer here” then send them to a post flooded with 500 venting comments and 3 answers to their questions. How on earth can they find that answer? How long will they have to search for it? Would you want to do that?
In other words, it is MUCH easier for me to say to TinyCo…. “you guys have a major issue with **** as many players are vocalizing on this issue. See the comments HERE ***insert link to the ONE post***”
That makes it so much easier than me saying… “Hey TinyCo, there is an issue… but you will have to sift through 50 posts and thousands of comments to see the comments scattered here and there that readers left”
Does that make better sense? Do you understand why we “try to keep the flow” “Stick to the point” when it comes to specific items? Makes it better for everyone. Us, Our Readers, and our way we are vocal on behalf of players. Just because you are upset or having a bad day (we all get those days) does not mean everyone else is. To ruin a good post with hate, anger, frustration… it ruins all the hard work we put into that post as it has no place on it. What’s the point of us trying to help when others just use our help to “yell and scream”. Make sense? 🙂

I hate to be a whiner, but I’m glad this event is over. When they first announced that they were extending the game for an extra week I genuinley got excited and thought I would’ve had a chance to get Kirk. But then to add MORE things to the list, I had no chance. If only we got to trade other materials for dilithium or dark matter, then I would’ve had a genuine chance!

Ok, as I can’t find comments on that: does anyone else has problems to even start the game? Since the update back to normal it doesn’t work anymore. After the loading screen it kicks me out.

There’s no certain message. But when I restart the game after a crash, a website from TinyCo opens telling me I should try reinstalling the game. In fact, that’s the only thing I haven’t tried so far. I’ve already restarted my device, force closed the app and cleared the cache. Thanks for your help!

Well the SS Enterprise is gone, off on a new adventure, I wonder will it ever return? I’m very happy with my collecting and planning my theme park area where I can rotate Star Trek/Ghostbusters/Monsters etc.
Despite not being a big Trekkie I thoroughly enjoyed this event, partly due to plenty of content, funny quest lines but most of all due to the community here.
Now I know you girls say you do this for fun and just to help fellow fans and we can’t donate to the site to help keep you in clams, but I really feel the need to say thanks and wondered if you girls have a preferred charity that I could donate a few £££s too by way of showing gratitude for all you do.

You are sweet. We honestly have a “Pay It Forward” mentality. If you would like to drop a note or letter to us, we love those. Feel free to send one to our mailing address.
If you want to drop money, I would ask you seek locally those in need and “Pay It Forward” to them. This can be anything from Homeless Shelters, Food Banks, Veterans Services, Cancer Research, assisting an Elderly Neighbor, etc. Buy a strangers meal in a Restaurant anonymously. Pay for the person behind you when at the supermarket or drive through. Do something kind for another for no other reason than just “Paying It Forward”. There is so many good places out there that can use the “help” more than we do. I have a roof over my head and food on my table, so I am content. Others may not be so lucky. It is a great feeling to see a smile on someone you do not know because you shone a lil light into their life, even if it was just for a moment. Random acts of kindness make this world so much better.

Does anyone else think that extra “ore” and “things” should be turned at least into $$ when the event ends? I play dragon vale as well and when an event ends the unused “stuff” for the event is turned into $$….not like clams but the Quahog money. Anyways my first post, and two cents worth.
