  1. You told me this was show related.. I watched that episode again. Had the fire monsters, had the fire chief… no sexy chris no sheamus no firedog brian.. show related seems a very loose term for the characters involved… watch that episode again…

I was disappointed that Brian ended up being premium, but they have to make money somewhere. Too rich for my pocket…oh well. If you analyze this event so far there is a clear division between freemium play and premium play, which seems to be pretty obvious.

If you decide to go the premium route in this event, you can earn fire helmets as well as all the freemium stuff, if you don’t, you can still earn jaws of life. If you earn helmets you get to open a mystery box, if you earn jaws of life you get to open a different mystery box with the same stuff in it. I think this is set up perfectly for premium players. They can earn more items to open more mystery boxes in the same time that fremium players earn items to open up less mystery boxes. Basically premium players are paying for more chances to get the mystery box items, as well as getting the premium items in the first place.

As long as they keep the freemium stuff obtainable I have no problem with the dynamics of this event.

If you don’t want to pay for an item you can still have fun collecting stuff, just not ALL the stuff. It is after all “The Quest for Stuff”, not “The Quest For ALL The Stuff”.

  3. Some of these events have been pretty cool but I would love for things to go back how they used to be. A new district opens up and you repair the new building that comes with a new family guy character. Then you do whatever it takes to unlock the items and enjoy the new land. Ever since the Brewery, it seems like everything has to be event related. Getting Pawtuckey Pat by creating items rather than tasks (not a fan). I say keep it simple but that’s just me. I kinda regret all the premium characters I bought. I miss the early game with only Family Guy / Quohag related people. Honestly designing the town is my favorite aspect of the game. So no Fire Dog Brian for me.

  4. As a person who buys clams I just don’t get what TC is doing. They have upped the amount of free clams we can get but then raised prices.

If smart keep prices lower so by collecting the free clams you are almost there on getting items then you feel like hey this purchase aint that bad.

Should of saved this rant for a WTD but dang TC read some comments here…

  5. Another premium skin that can stay in the closet with musclebound Stewie. This premium player has decided to go freemium and lower my stress level from this game. Now I will just play casually.

  6. 185 clams really. Besides for Jake Tucker he is the cheapest skin/character put out. Not saying he’s worth it, but he is pretty cheap. Also not a must buy, also not that cool, also not so useful, but also who really cares. There are some premium things you just don’t want, even as a premium player. I agree he should be down priced, but there’s no reason to complain.

  7. Premium characters will cost 300 clams by the years end !!
You read it here first !!!

    • By years end? Some already do. Lol 😉

      • But the vast majority don’t and I doubt they will. Unless they do giant events like the star trek one again where they were 265. I only have seen Bryan Cranston and Nathan Filion more than 300 that weren’t year round people like Cleveland or Kool Aid Guy now.

  8. It’s up to each player to decide whether or not this is a ‘have’ skin. I agree with Bunny, gauge your purchase based on a three months vision. Will I still want it down the road?
Personally, I don’t have to have everything and I’m just happy to take my time collecting for the free skin. LOTS of coin options this time, too. So I’m spending my time building the new buildings, as well.
Firedog Brian’s cute, whoever gets him, congratulations.

    • Agreed. I was very pleasantly surprised to see all but one building was available for coins. Even an animated one! And love the water towers!

  9. I hope he becomes useful for getting Fireman Seamus, otherwise it felt a little short. Still, my collection grows.

  11. Kinda sucks he’s for clams so I’m just focusing on getting the hats to open the mystery box for decos (which are my fav anyway). So far I got the helicopter (it goes up and dumps water) and the cat in the tree (it walks back and forth and falls down when u tap it). I have way more fun decorating my quahog than actually doing quests lol

    • I’d totally forgotten they’d even done a tuxedo bryan , as I’m totally sure I’ll forget this skin to in several months.

  13. I agree way too much money for a costume. I am not buying. I wish there was a quest to get it and not clams.

    • Once again tinyco needs to extend this event they havent even unlocked the last character and it ends tomorrow im sorry but this is really getting annoying. I love playing the game but if the only way you can get the characters is by using claims either to buy or rush then im gone they need to make them longer seriously ive checked my game about 5 times a day and i still cant get chris theres a problem and they need to realize it.

  14. As so many people have mentioned previously, way too overpriced. I am happy to buy clams and got all characters in Star Trek, but 210 clams for a character skin, way too greedy. First time since clown Peter I am not interested in it. 100 clams maybe… Future play in the game unlikely to purchase more premium content as I feel disrespected as a player.

    • I completely agree they are way over pricing them

    • My bf completely atopped playing because tinyco was a.movinf to fast in events for a casual game and b. The characters are over priced. I wont spend another penny in that game. But they are about to lose me as a player if they arent going to play by what they said it is a casual game meaning the tasks last over a long period of time for completion since you arent/cant play 24/7

    • I don’t. Not everything has to be free for a person to enjoy an event. Some may want it, some won’t.
