Well someone turned up the heat in Quahog! No your phone isn’t on fire…nope there’s fire in our tiny Quahogs!
With the all new firefighter event there’s brush fires to put out, house fires to clear, fire creatures to battle and lots and lots of always drops!
Of course it wouldn’t be an event without a TON of questlines…so let’s take a look at all the questlines (as of today) you can expect during this second (and final) week of the Firefighters Event!

Hello, I’ve just noticed that some of the quest boxes have a gold/yellow border, and some don’t. Right now I have four – three are the current event, but one is for “A Whole Lotta Bull Pt.5” which seems to be regular content. Does anyone know what the highlighting indicates? Apologies if this has been answered before, I couldn’t find a reference to it. Love the site, thanks.

Just different colors for different scenarios. Just helps for them to stand out. Kind of like you noticed them as being different from a regular task. Just there to get your attention. 😉

Tuesday afternoon and I have completed all tasks, got all the prizes unlocked everyone reached the max level, have 4 million dollars have over 4 thousand fire extinguishers. Do you think I can relax till Thursday afternoon? This was a pretty good event. Only one fault and that was fire Brian being premium. Would like to see a complete event with no need for clams to get everything. Please everyone have a safe happy summer.

One thing I do not like is the blue and the purple fire creatures look the same to me. (I am colorblind)
No problems in the game until this point.

This event is good, but I am bummed that I will not be getting fireman Brian. There is nothing that will get me to spend that many clams on a skin.

I haven’t been able to play for about a week now, some weird error that won’t load the game. Stupid thing is that I was too lazy to link it to my Facebook or Google accounts so I can’t uninstall & reinstall. Argh!

All we can suggest is to message TinyCo. If you can at least see the splash screen in the opening, send them a screenshot of that as there is ID at the bottom on the left and right that can help them trace your game if needed. Just takes a lot longer than you having the player ID off hand.

You have to unlock Chris, that’s in part 7 of the main quest with one other thing to do. Once you’ve finished that part, the purple creatures do start roaming around. Yay…

I’m not like it. As with most events, I won’t finish. Game constantly shuts down. No people fire creatures.

I just finished “boiling point pt1” and after tapping on seamus I was put back on “pt1” ,has this happened to anyone else?

So for me Pirate of the flame part 4 and boiling point part 1 concluded at the same time. It went from pirate of the flame part 4 to boiling point part 2 once part 4 was done… completely skipped boiling point part 1.
Something else I’ve noticed and wanted to see if anyone else has… when you first go into the fireman pole house to make firemen … when it first loads the graphic and if pole 1 is open … before it switches to the 4/### fire extinguishers that are needed icon… it’s the black/purple dark matter symbol from the star trek event… it only shows for a split second and only if those conditions are met.
Anyone else see that?

Ugh those tasks are very laborious indeed. The purple guys will take a while to get and im not sure i have the energy. There is no prize at the end. Im only interested in character skins or playable characters none of those at the end or in boxes. A few days off is nice 🙂

The event is okay even though I really wanted fire dog brian. However, in order to get the jaws of life, you need to get axe and in order to get them you need gas cans. I’m ready to give up on this event.

Off topic here, but I recently download the windows version of family guy quest for stuff and was hoping to join it up with my iOS but that isn’t an option, do you know if tiny co will add it?

It only goes up to Meg’s Prison Skin. Will not go up to District 9, even though the stuff for it is in the market, and the District can seen. They have apparently given up on the game, and have no intention of ever updating or upgrading it.

Does anyone know the earliest Windows version that will work with it? Their site just has a link to get Windows 8.1. Is that the minimum? It gives processor requirements but nothing absolute about system requirements. Might be interesting to try it on a mac in emulation sometime, but I would have to install the right Windows version.

So happy to finally have a quest that is attainable…yes, it’s still timed, but I can get the new skin easily and complete quests at my own pace, finally! Just wish I could get Brian’s skin at a freemium level 😕

Unlocked Chris and Seamus, so I’m happy!! Purchased all the new buildings and deco. Still have 3 items to go in the mystery box. Tasks don’t really interest me this time. Not stressing over them, rewards for finishing them arent that great so no big loss. Thanks Bunny!

My only remaining goal of this game is the cat in the tree, so I won’t bother with any quest lines that get in the way of my doing that, as the gains are not that great. If there is time after I get the cat in the tree, I will do whatever quest lines are available to me, as I did not bother with Brian. From what I have learned playing this game, the only time, for me, finishing quest lines are worth it is if they amuse me, don’t get in the way of another current goal, or they reward you with clams.
Bunny, whenever I sign on to this site, I still send a burst of positive and healing energy to you and your family.

If the fires are aggravating, you can just let them burn and do other stuff… 🙂 The fires just hop around from building to building, switching from red alarm to yellow alarm and back again rather randomly (they don’t even try to put the yellow alarm just on big buildings, unless you consider the little used clothing store, the playground, and anal point, currently ablaze in my game, to be “big”). So usually a building doesn’t stay on fire too long even if you ignore the flames. I ignore yellow alarms completely, not worth the trouble. Don’t know if the brush fires would engulf the town if not tapped out, though… Nobody seems to get permanently burned, thankfully.
It is fun to watch the two captains get a jaws of life from a purple fire creature. The second captain does that hop of triumph before sliding down the pole after his victory. The regular firefighters do that, too, and their aim with the hose is often a tad askew. I appreciate the fact that they just run to the fire since I have so few roads. The Quahog fire department (also currently ablaze) is filled with pedestrians, it seems.

Rewards for the quests are minimal so won’t be stressing over them. Some tasks are ridiculously long too.
That’s the joy of the game though, you just do what you want. For example, I have still built the buildings and purchased the decks in the quests.

I’ve been playing FG as addiction since the first event (a mysterious pyramid in the forest and the first character i earned was king butt (non family guy original character)) and also got Cleveland for free!
