Bouncing by with a quick reminder that the event is ending TODAY!
MAY 27th, 2015 @ 3PM PACIFIC TIME
There are some items I just wanted to remind you about before they all go so take a peek below.
For a quick reminder of all the items this Event had to offer, feel free to tap on the links below.
CHARACTER COSTUMES
With this Firefighters Event, we had 3 new Character Costumes hit our game, 2 earnable and one to buy. Make sure you complete the earning and creation of the outfits and any purchases before the Event ends.
BUILDINGS
Some interesting looking Buildings were dropped into our Quahog for the Event. Make sure you pick up the ones you wanted before the Event goes. Some of them you can buy more than one of if you so choose.
DECORATIONS
Some interesting and really small decorations were dropped into the game. Make sure you pick up multiples of the ones you want before they go. (Remember, the pipeline can be linked side by side and in long lengths to make one continuous pipeline.)
MYSTERY BOXES
An interesting new twist on the Mystery Boxes this go round let not only Premium Players, but Freemium as well have access to the items inside. Make sure you complete all the Battles and actions to earn the 6 Materials and unlock all the remaining ones you want to.

QUESTLINES
No confirmation as of yet what will stay and go, I assume the same as before… if there is an item linked to the questline that is only available during the event it will not be able to continue. If it is just a generic questline, possibly linked to a Character Costume, it may be able to continue past the Event.
There you have it. A Firey Event coming to a close. All the items and Materials will go with the Event that are not used or in your game, so use up all you can before it goes to get what you want.

For me the fire academy is present in my town, but the timer on the building resets every time I log on. Doesn’t matter much tot me, since I’m max level andere have plenty coins, but I thought I dropped by tot provide soms information

This was a fun little event. I got the 2 earnable skins and with a little over an hour before the event ended I collected my final prize from the mystery box. Pretty cool to get all of the rewards without spending a single clam. 🙂

I really enjoyed this short event and I got anything I wanted. I got one shot at the mystery box (10 minutes before end) and I got the boat wich I am pretty happy with.
But when I started this game again this morning I saw a checkmark above the trainings centre and I tapped it but it didn’t go away. So tried to store it en then replace, but he is gone now and not in my inventory.

Got to get Fireman Seamus before the event ended. Don’t get me started on Fire dog Brian. Some of the buildings from the event (the animated ones specifically) and the SUV are great and all but who has the space for them?
Want to say thank you Bunny and everyone else that makes this site possible for us. So many of these events would have been a nightmare without the guidance you addicts provide us all.
Looking forward to the next event and HOPING it ISN’T a timed one.

Lol. ALL events are timed. I think what you are really wanting (as well as many of us) is a new District release. Those are at your leisure ones as they are there to stay in the game. 🙂
Otherwise Events are only ever meant to be temporary, so each will have time constraints.

I just entered District 10, I have noticed now(not sure if it became available with 10 or not, but I didn’t notice if it had stayed before or not), but the fireman pole from the event is still in my store.

Odd. It is gone in my game. Glitch maybe? Buy it if you want as if it is a temporary glitch, it will most likely go away.

I’ll probably just leave, I just wasn’t sure if it was a glitch or if it was left on purpose. Not sure if it is new or not, but I noticed that when Lois is teaching piano(sent to earn Stewie’s skin from District 10), musical notes come out from the front window. I have not noticed that before. Sorry, unrelated but I thought that it was a nice little thing, maybe I just never noticed it though.

I remember seeing that a ways back. There is a lot of random animations I saw when the game first hit, that I forget about ….then notice randomly one day and think “Oh yah… forgot that happened.” Lol. It is a cool one. And I did forget about it.

hello I ‘m french I play games since the beginning familyguy I follow your site at the same time very good job ( the events that make the little extra that we can win the personages like the stuff yeti, the graves must not opens because time limit … ) regarding the mini event not last firefighter suits have gratuis 2 perso. ) but the one that i boxes Reusi to open ( but the best cat in the tree. lucky because I prefer this one 😉

I’ve got a real gripe about some of the events recently. I’m a freemium player, but also work long hours, which means I’m limited to the amount of time I can play the game. I missed out of the ‘nature’ event, due to it being so short, and now the same for this. I was 1 day away from unlocking Fireman Chris (yes, that’s how little I can play), and now the event is over. I refuse to pay real money to accelerate tasks! I just think that TinyCo sometimes make it a bit too hard to unlock items. I’m probably isolated here, and it’s my own problem that I can’t play that often, but it’s got to the point where I’m now considering stopping all together, which is a shame. Unfortunately some of us are unable to log on to our devices every 4 hours or so, to clear tasks.
Don’t get me started on the amount of characters I missed out on during the Star Trek event too!! Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!

Watch for our polls. One already up for ST Characters. Other than that, we keep our What the Deuce always open, so feel free to use them anytime you need to vent. We tend to direct TinyCo right to them so they can see what players are frustrated on. 😉

Very frustrating and buggy event. Two out of every three times I’d train my firefighters only to come back later to find the game saying I had none in training. As a result I progressed extremely slowly, finished none of the major questlines, and only got one mystery box. On top of the very frustrating Star Trek event, that should have been awesome, its enough to make me consider quitting the game.

It depends where you were tapping. If you tapped on buildings initially it would let you train new firemen, but then once they were done if you tapped the building/creature again it would still show there were none ready and require you to train more. You had to actually tap on the training building to extract your trained firemen first and *then* tap on their target.

I still have boiling point quest line. I do not know if it will disappear after chris does his last sexy pose. The event was okay and I got the tree with the cat and helicopter so I was happy (by chance the only two times I had enough jaws of life). I also was for the first time visiting a friend quahog in seeing the moving vehicle. I picked up two. 🙂

3pm pacific time means nothing to us in Europe advice suspect the rest of the world outside the USA. It would be better to have a countdown then we might be able to judge what we can do and whe.

I’m just glad the fires are out. I think last I checked I had close to 700 extinguishers. The ratio of fire tapping to results was way off . Not a fan of this past event at all.

So after playing the event as much as I could managed I ended up only getting one shot at the mystery box. There were 3 prizes I wanted, 2 I thought I were cool and 1 that I hated and would never place in my town. 3 guesses which one I got?

Im feeling a lil disappointed with this event bcuz I wasted 185 clams trying to speed up firefighters so I could get the last prize in the mystery box, & I didn’t make it in time before the event ended. Even though I purchased Fire Dog Brian and I check the game every 1 to 2 hours, I was unable to get all the prizes, and I really feel like Brian’s task being 12 hrs was too long. That took 3 days just to get one prize. I really wish I had purchased the 4th training pole in the firehouse bcuz I think that would have helped. I sent 2 in game msgs trying to get either my clams back, or the prize I wanted (quahog fireboat). Does it seem like I’m asking for too much to ask for my clams to be reimbursed? =/

Forgot to OCD in and failed to train the last pair of captains in time to see the ending of the last quest… Oh well… Now I have nothing to do in the game. Almost… Peter still has to visit the clam and dance the Shipoopi until I get those last two neglected achievements, and I still have a bunch of characters to level up.

Boo. I managed to sneak in one last mystery box under the buzzer (my 5th) by spending a few clams, and of COURSE I ended up with the gold hydrant rather than the helicopter. It’s a shame the holiday weekend prevented me from sticking to a good schedule – I could have had all 6 prizes if I hadn’t fallen behind or if the event lasted one more day. At least I got the boat – that is one really cool deco.

Really? I thought it was fantastically easy for freemium?! I thought it had a good balance as the only thing you really got out of being premium was Brian as all the other bits just made getting stuff faster…

Huh… I’ve got no fires in my town finally (still find it hysterical the firefighters couldn’t keep their own building from turning to kindling so frequently…), but my academy shows a check above it as if the trainees are done, but nothing happens when I try clicking it. Also still have the last quest part I was on in my log, which is unable to be completed due to the fact it was the one where you fight 3 3-alarm fires and destroy 2 crazed fire creatures, neither of which is in town now.

I had to click my firefighter academy checkmarks multiple times (i guess one for each firefighter) and then the checkmarks cleared.

Did you check in the Buildings menu in the Inventory? Skim slowly through it as it is easily passed over if you scroll too fast.

I have the same problem. It had a tick over for the Firemen that weren’t finished when the event went, I stored it in the hopes of getting rid of the tick, it is not anywhere in my inventory. I have checked every tab and the only things I have in there are the rooms from Star Trek.

Mine had a check mark as I had some left training before it ended. I just waited and a few times in n out of the game it was gone. I sent a report on my end too on the Fire Academy. Please also send a report from your game.

Yep, the academy is gone from inventory, did the same thing tried to clear the checkmark, and boom it’s gone. I double checked thrice. 🙂

Just managed to get Seamus’ costume this afternoon and started his quest. I sent some firefighters to be trained, but as the event ended about an hour ago they were lost. There was an exclamation above the firefighter’s academy (the building where the firefighters were trained) that refused to budge, so I thought storing it might work. It disappeared! The building is not in the inventory. I looked through the whole thing multiple times all the way to the end. It’s not in the building tab, nor decoration nor “everything”. Pretty sure it wasn’t sold and it’s nowhere else in town. Any ideas? Is this a glitch? Where’s my firefighter academy?? 😦 *cry*

Used to love this game and I have been playing since it first started but getting so sick of these new quests that are impossible to get unless you use 900 clams and then you work at it all day and then they just stop it when there’s maybe three more items to get!!! Either give more time for quest or make them REALISTIC otherwise delete and one star rating! Complete bs!

In my game the event just ended. I finished all quests. I had three items left from mystery box but I only really wanted the building that earned do and cash and got that, so no big deal. Fun little event. Lot of fire tapping

I wish TinyCo would have let us keep the fire creatures to roam Quahog. That would have been a nice bonus. It was fun watching them chase the flaming chicken and the red shirt fire guy. Oh well!!! I did ask for it in game, but, I guess it didn’t work.

Mine are finally gone. It is so nice not to have to deal with all those endless building fires and “Where’s Waldo?” type brush fire seek and destroy all the time. I was beginning to wish we could have an OFF switch for the event, to get a break from it periodically and just play with our town undisturbed.

Bought a load of the pipes though I’m not sure what I’ll do with them yet lol. Was only able to open 2 marry boxes – I got the Hunka Burnin Love & the helicopter, but I really wanted the cat in the tree XD ah well…

I wonder if they’ll bring the cat in the tree back sometime so we can have another chance at it? The only link with firefighters is that fire departments used to use their ladders to help stuck kitties in trees… But it’s actually pretty generic and would be a nice prize for any event.
Meanwhile, Locutus of Borg will be spending a lot of therapy time playing laser chase with his kitten on the streets of my Quahog to compensate for no kitty stuck in a tree.
I did an impulse buy of almost 250 pipes myself today, even though I don’t know exactly what I’ll do with them either. I blame peer pressure.

I finished all the quest lines just in time. As for the gift box I only got 3 items: gold hydrant, boat and building. The building was the only item a really wanted, so I’m satisfied.

My game just ended the even and we do keep the Fireman Academy building and it gives rent.
I was able to buy 50 pipes at the last minute, but the graphics for them fail to load just like what happened with the white fences during the American Dad event. I just hope TinyCo fixes the pipes quicker than the fences.

Cogwheels? If so, that is just a slow rendering issue. Usually a memory/connection issue with the device/game. Mine are displaying well in my town. Just as I left them.

There’s just holes in the ground where pipes should be. It took like 2-3 months before the white fences loaded correctly and this was after many updates and re-installs.

I was at a client today were I didn’t know if they had wi-fi, so I won’t be able to quite complete the last quest or go for my third mystery box.
Would have liked the cat in the tree, but that’s the way it goes.

How fast is the turnaround for support requests? I bought 50 clams, the game crashed, and when I went back in the clams weren’t showing. I tried again to buy them,and got an error message saying “you already own the item”, and the game froze. I got the confirmation email from Google Play,so I know it went through. I’ve contacted TinyCo support, I just wanted to know if they could resolve it before the event ends. thanks guys!

All you can do is contact them from in game. Turnaround varies each day on amount of all the messages in queue in front of you and the extent and time that each issue takes to investigate and resolve.

In my experience, they also might just ignore the request. They also might respond without even reading it. I sent one suggestion after the Halloween event suggesting that for future events, it would be helpful to be able to exchange leftover items in larger batches so it doesn’t take a really long time. The response I got said they can no longer let me exchange my Halloween items. I clarified that I wasn’t requesting such a thing… Didn’t get another response. Sent a separate request asking why I had clams suddenly disappear. No response . I figured it is because I have never purchased anything. Also the ticketing system seems to be too simplistic.. I cannot see any of my submitted requests.

If you can’t see any of your messages, there may be something else going on too. Have you tried to reach them via the email instead? Just in case something is up with your messaging.
Never purchasing anything has NOTHING to do with responses. You should get some kind of response, whether automated or not within 5 days of sending one.

I think that TinyCo should extend the event by another day and provide a way to exchange excess fire extinguishers into Jaws of Life or Fire Hats, or just have a whole new mystery box for them. But that’s just my two cents.

I like the pipeline, dead cheap, and they make great industrial style fencing and sidewalk edges. I bought a bunch of them, and now that I am in the Brewery section, I have to be more careful with my spending of coins, because everything is so expensive in district 10, plus I am running out of room to put things. The Matchstick Factory and Burn Center were huge compared to other buildings!
This event was sort of blah, but I liked smooshing brushfires fires, even though after the first couple days they were more of a nuisance than a help because there was no way to use all the fire extinguishers that were obtained. I ended up getting Seamus the same way I got Kirk, did not really care for him one way or the other, but I had the materials, and it did not take long. It was cute to see his animations. Could not come close to justifying Brian, although he would have been cute to have. The response I got from TinyCo about him and the false ads on the splash screens left a bad taste in my mouth, because it came down to apparently they had planed to make him obtainable by materials, but a last minute decision was to charge for him, and they forgot to change the splash screens. They should have stuck to their original plan!

I thought there were too many buildings.

Not sure if this comment posted before, but I was wondering, who actually was behind the fires? At the beginning they made it seem like someone started them but then the questline just sort of ended. Not a big deal, lol, but I was hoping the Giant Chicken would pop up or some other villain. Maybe this event bleeds into the next one somehow, I don’t know.

The next one will come in June, so all we can do is wait and see if there is any tie. I don’t think there is myself. I think they are two separate Events.

Not that it really matters, lol, but who started the fires? The plot of the whole thing made it seem like there was a mastermind behind it all but the questline just sort of ended. Not a big deal, just wondering, haha.

They are probably playing into the TV Series where there are so many stories to how Seamus lost his limbs. One being by fire he started. There are so many speculations in the TV Series too on fires. The Series tends to leave you hanging a lot too or just leaving it to your own sense of humor and speculation. 😉
