Hey there Mobsters!
So the New Event is now in our silly lil games and many of you are trying to figure out just HOW it all works. What is with the Goon? What about the RV’s? Here to help break it all down.
In this post, I will be going over the details of How to Hire Goons and what you will be using them for.
WHERE DO I HIRE THE GOONS?
The Goons will all be hired via the Copahavana Night Club. You can find this location over in your Event Area on the middle Right side of your screen.
HOW DO I HIRE A GOON/ WISEGUY?
Once you located the Copahavana in the Event Area, tap on it. The Goon Hire Screen will Pop up. You will notice a few areas in the pop up. Let’s go over each one.
Top Area/ Capacity: This area is where you will see the total MAX amount of Goons you can have in your town at once. This number includes ones wandering your streets of Quahog along with any currently in the Goon Recruiting Queue. Your starting Capacity will be 3 Goon.
Center Area/ Goons for Hire: Here you will see that you need 15 Gurl Scout Cookies to Hire a Goon. Each one will cost the same. If you do not have enough Cookies, you will see “NOT ENOUGH”. If you have enough to Hire a goon, that area will switch to “HIRE”. Tapping on “Hire” will put the Goon in Queue and start the 30 minute timer.
Bottom Area/ Goon Recruiting Queue: This is where you will see how many Goons you have “Hired” and are currently timing down in the Copahavana. Each one will take 30 minutes. Once the First one is complete, the next one will automatically start timing down too. And so on until ALL you have “Hired” are complete in the Queue. You will also see a Clam option on both the Individual Goon as well as one for ALL currently in Queue to be completed instantly. This is only an option. You do not have to use it unless you want.
MAX Queue: You will also notice there are ONLY 6 open slots to “Hire” in the Queue. So no matter your game Capacity MAX, you can still only have 6 at a time in the Queue. Make sure you check back to release them into the game so you can keep recruiting more until you reach your MAX.
HOW DO I INCREASE MY CAPACITY?
The game will start you out at 3 Total Goons MAX allowed in your game at a time. In order to increase this amount, you will need to purchase RV’s to increase that Capacity.
For the Freemium: Earn 125 Cookies and Purchase the Cookie RV to add 3 additional Goons to your MAX Capacity. This will give you a total of 6 Capacity. Most Players will be at MAX 6 Capacity unless they play Premium.
For the Premium: Spend 250 Clams and Purchase the Clam RV to add 3 additional Goons to your MAX Capacity.
MAX Goon Capacity: Right now the MAX Capacity you can possibly have in the game is 9. This is if you get BOTH the 125 Cookie RV and the 250 Clam RV.
There will be another option to get MORE RV’s as the game progresses, but they are not live in the game just yet. The next option will be a 1000 Cookie RV once you get to Lifestyles of the Rich Part 3. That Questline has not yet been released into the game.
You will know when you hit YOUR current MAX Capacity of Goons when you try to Hire more and see THIS pop up…
WHAT ABOUT THE RIVAL COOKIE TRUCKS?
The Goons can be used to Attack & Raid the Rival Gurl Scout Delivery Trucks in the game. But in order to be able to see them, you have to get to Mob Mentality Part 3 first. 
At this same time you trigger Mob Mentality Part 3, you will also see Peter Trigger an additional Side Quest called Earning Mob Rep. This is when you will start to see the Cookie Trucks appear in your Quahog roaming your streets with the Characters. So keep those roads in places you can easily see. 
HOW OFTEN WILL THE COOKIE TRUCKS APPEAR/SPAWN?
In my game, they show up almost immediately. Even if I clear some out. They come in groups of two and MAX out at a total of 5 in my game. Yours may vary.
You will know if you cleared all yours in your town as you will get a pop up when they are all gone.
HOW DO I CLEAR COOKIE TRUCKS?
Once you start seeing the Cookie Trucks in your town, you can begin to use the Goons to clear them out, so it is a good idea to get a few queued up to have ready for them.
If you do not have any Goons to attack a Truck, you will see “HIRE” in the pop up screen prompting you to go Hire some.
Once you some of the Goons Hired and Cookie Trucks roaming, just tap on any Cookie Truck and you will see the option “RAID”. Just tap on it and the Goon will start the attack on the Rival Gurl Scout Cookie Truck.
He will begin by shooting out the tires…
Then he will pull out his bat to scare off the the Driver and passenger that will run off and leave the doors open…
Then the Cookie Truck will disappear and the Goon will make his Getaway in a Shot up Gangster Style Getaway Car…
At the end of it all you will be awarded at LEAST 5 Fedoras & 25 Cookies. You occasionally may see more Fedoras rewarded, but the 5 & 25 seem most common.
WHAT ELSE CAN THE GOONS DO?
Since Goons enjoy a good Raid, they will also be used along several Obstacles in Kingpin Consuela’s Safe House. The MAX Goons used in those Raids is 5, so it will be a good idea to get the 125 Cookie RV so you will have enough when that time comes.

No you can’t. You have to use them to free up the space to hire other ones.

I do not have any armored cookie trucks roaming around so that I may complete “The Best Around Part 1.” Am I supposed to have another questline completed to trigger the trucks? I contacted Tinyco, yesterday, but no reponse as of yet.

I don’t see nor do I remember seeing it, I’m still trying to comeplete “its good to be a gangster part 7” So if that was last weeks stuff still, I guess I haven’t got there yet because my manaion hasnt upgraded either. This is a tough event 🙂 Thank you 😄

Help! I think I’m doing something wrong. I originally purchased the extra shady RV for 350 cookies. My capacity was 6 goons. Now, I decided to purchase another RV for 1,000 cookies. The upper left says capacity 6/9, but I have zero roaming and 6 queued. I try to add another one to queue and it says I’ve reached my capacity. So can only 6 be queued at once even though I have capacity 9?

anyone had trouble i have just started and can hire goons i have heaps of cookie and an rv and the fat father suit …. it just sayings not enough when i try a hire a goon 😦

I’m having an issue because I have 12 goons (max) and I finally collected enough masks (anyone else having trouble collecting the masks to train the new goons? I’m a premium player and I’m finding it extremely difficult so far and all the crash issues are making this event not so enjoyable) but anyway, I can’t use my old goons for anything to get rid of them to create the new ones 😞 I am usually pretty good with rolling with the punches and the glitches and waiting it out to see what happens when the smoke clears before i get too frustrated but this event is really trying my patience to date (the amount of cash I’ve spent since the beginning of it is considerable and i’m low on the leader boards due to the crashes and not beint able to even access my game at all for days, i lost over 300 clams on loosing goons alone (thats when i started paying attention so i’m sure its more than that) and i never even got anything out of it because my game crashes wouldn’t allow me to take the safe house down) now the gold cookie vans glitch and after shelling out the cash to get 3 masks to take down the safe house (i have not rolled even one gurl scout either cause if trouble with getting masks) … i’m really trying not to be irritated at this point and i’m hoping theres a way i can get rid of my (almost) useless 12 goons so i can maybe advance just a little on the safe house and possibly get some mob rep from them 😢

I queued up 6 goons earlier, but just hopped into the game and only had 1 available to take out a rival truck. Not sure if I lost the 75 other cookies for the missing 5 goons or not. also, STILL trying to get the cigar boxes for Peter’s costume. TinyCo REALLY has an issue with drop rates. At least I can take solcae in the fact that not being able to unlock stuff just means not having to try to squeeze it into an already very cramped Quahog..

One time when I went to go buy goons my game showed what the shadowed figure was in the locked sections. Its a lucha libre wrestler in a red outfit, but he was facing away from you. So Consuela could also have rival goons in play in the future. I should have taken a pic.

I need a clam deal soon I have money waiting to buy clams so I can get the cookie coveyer belt !! But I am not going to buy clams then a day later a clam deal comes up not this event tiny co

This event is cool, i started playing scarface again on ps2, that’s how poor i am 😂 LOL. And watched the godfather again last night, haven’t seen it in a few years. Can’t wait to see what happens next, as always i will be checking in here for tips and gossip. Thumbs up on this event.

I’m still wondering how TinyCo would ever be able to surpass the Star Trek event after setting the bar so high. (I want a Hobbit/LotR event for Christmas! And Blue Harvest for the new Star Wars release!)
Anyway, just a thought here, I feel a bit disappointed and annoyed that the in-app information regarding RVs led me to think I would get 3 more slots if I bought the 250-clam one. As you point out here, this is not the case and I could really have saved myself a significant amount of precious clams. Oh well, my contribution will buy the guys a couple of pints, this will be my round! 😀

Yes it makes sense to higher as many as you can afford. They cost 15 Cookies per mobster but payout 25 cookies 🙂

I’m debating on buying one of the cookie machines but what I really need is mob rep. With work and summer stuff going on, I haven’t had as much time to play as I would like. My current mob rep is kinda pitiful.
I like the event though. Love anything mob related. Used to play Mafia Wars like a fanatic. Anyhow, wondering if when the cookies drop from the premium machines, if you also gain mob rep for those drops?
I’ve already got the goons going at 6 max but that doesn’t seem to be doing much for me since I’m not able to log on all throughout the day.
