UPDATE 6/11: Through testing on both iOS and Android, I am seeing the Multiplier is all over the board and not in progression. In other words I stayed at 1X for several Raids. Or I moved up to only 1.75, then back to 1 again. All reported to TinyCo. If you are seeing the same, please send them a message from your game too.
UPDATE 6/10 545PM EST: Got confirmation from TinyCo that they WILL be moving the task to drop Pawtucket Brewery Tickets from Mort to another separate Character. So going forward, Mort will ONLY have the Dog Food task. Hope this helps some Players concerned with the visual drops on the Brewery Items. 🙂
Instead of Mort, the Brewery task now requires Brian’s “Drink a Beer” task.

Originally, when you completed an Additional Raid AFTER collecting all 3 Stars and the Bad Cockroaches, you were prompted to continue on with Additional Raids for more Prizes. The Pop Up showed you could win 100 Fedoras (Mob Rep). Well that has changed, for the better.

Second Multiplier Completion: 100 Fedoras x 1.25 (125)
Third Multiplier Completion: 100 Fedoras x 1.75 (175)
Fourth Multiplier Completion: 100 Fedoras x 2.5 (250)
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REACH THE 2.5 MULTIPLIER?
After you reach the top, you will start back at the bottom gain (x1 Multiplier). So you run through the entire thing over again starting over at Raid #1 and climbing up to Raid #4.
(Clarifying if this is “As Intended”, will update if anything changes.)
You can keep doing these over and over to continue to earn more Mob Rep and move up the Ranks quickly.

I just spent ALOT ALOT of clams boosting myself up the leaderboards.
I feel sick, Im anxious, Ive got a giant knot in my stomach.
Ive supported Tinyco since the halloween event, Ive been buying EVERYTHING that costs clams since then (my game feels incomplete if I dont get everything).
Yes I have an addiction and I have a problem with that but thats fine.
But ive had enough money to… forego other things that I probably SHOULD be spending money on instead, just for more clams.
Then Tinyco pulls this leaderboard ****.
I HAVE to have that Gold Griffin house.
I bought everything that cost clams day 1 of the event.
Apparently that wasnt enough. Apparently playing loterally every 2 hours isnt enough. When the leaderboards updated today I fell out of the top 100.
So I just bought 100$ in clams and spent half of that boosting myself back up a few 1000 mob rep points.
Im not spending clams ‘rushing’ things anymore this event.
If I fall off the top 100 again, Im done. I cant keep doing this to myself.
I cant finish the event with the bronze or silver house always taunting me, “HA you didnt have enough money to spend to get Gold Griffin house”.
It is literally making me sick to think if quitting playing thia game. It has been one of my favorite games to play almost a year now. I got my girlfriend into it and its been really fun playing with her.
Its making me sick to think that Ive already spent so so so so much on this game the past year, and all thats going to go to waste because I will have to stop playing this game.

Logan, Lets face it, they know you’ll came back and you know you will came back…The entire purpose of the leaderboard is to raise the income for TC. Honestly doesn’t seam a good deal buying lots of clams just to stay on top of the leaderboard, when probably, a year from now you’ll have the chance to buy Godfather for 250-450 Clams, or na paralel task to get it like happened with King But…Relax, don’t worry, otherwise TC will take all your Money…

Please Help!
I am going crazy! I am still in the Pawtucket Brewery Items unlocking, which means Mort’s two hour task “Retreating Cowardly” earns Silver Tickets as well as Dog Food.
Thing is, I earn lots of Silver Tickets (which are supposed to be rare), and NO Dog Food (which is supposed to be uncommon), although I am playing a lot!
This is slowing me down big time! I do not understand why I earn way more rare items than uncommon items! It doesn’t make sense! The Dog Food should be dropping more often than the silver tickets!
I wrote to Tiny Co but did not get an answer :-(!
Am I the only one in this situation? Heeeelp!

I’ve completed the 1st additional raid and still didn’t get points for object clearings or completing it. I’ve got an open ticket in cause im also not getting points for individual tasks. Finally started getting them for cookie trucks, but so many missed points so far is really hurting.

Drop rates for the Diabeto items is Horrible, just like all the other events. It seems to take forever to get progression. they need to add one more, or several more, people or lower the task times for the items you need. I am all good with rare drops, but stop making them 8 hour tasks. Make them 2 hour tasks that we can do more during the day.

So far I’m liking this event, except of one thing: the dog food. It really slows playing the game down for me when I get to that obstacle with Mort being the only character, the task only appearing when you need dog food, and the drop rate being pretty dismal. It being a two hour task both helps and hurts. On one hand it’s short, on the other hand not everyone has time to check their game every two hours, and during the night when people are sleeping, you get only one drop chance in 6-8 hours. Wish they would either add another character, or at least keep Mort’s task going at all times so he can build up dog food.

Ugh… I’m on the second raid and all mort will drop are those stupid silver tickets. 5 times in a row today!! Either add something else to get the dog food or take the brewery items away please!!! I’ve gotten everything from the brewery multiple times to try and get it to go away but no luck.

Check the “limits” on each one. If you only have one of four… they’ll keep dropping until you make every last one to its limits. 😦

That’s what I came here to vent about! The chiuhuaua obstacle is really getting on my nerves. I was one for five on that task dropping dog food today! Not to mention while I’m dedicating Mort to this, he can’t work on getting tacos for Diabeto.
And I can usually check the game fairly often, but I do have other things going on so I can’t always jump on every two hours. Which is why I only complete the task 5 times today, and got one lousy dog food. Grr!

It was probably already coded into the mix months ago when the Event was created. So those triggers already existed long before the issue.

Just noticed, leaderboards do update overnight. At least me it does. When I wake up I go from 4500 to 12000.
I bet at the end of this event I am at 5000 ish or something and then the event ends they update the leaderboard. Bam I go to 12000. That’s unfair!

A little annoyed that mort only drops dog food . I keep receiving items for the brewery rather than dog food as same mission . I’ve already unlocked all brewery items so it’s useless getting more and more blue tickets . I have 168 useless brewery tickets .

You have to craft everything at max times it lets you, then characters wont drop these items anymore

If you’re still getting Brewery items, then you didn’t craft everything. Some items can be crafted multiple times, but they DO have a limit. Just keep crafting, and eventually those drops will go away.
Keep in mind that according to all sources, Mort’s event item drops have priority over brewery item drops, so it shouldn’t be interfering with collecting dog food. It’s an uncommon item, so it won’t drop every time. Good luck!

Yeah Mort is killing me. A 2 hour task requiring 5 uncommon drops seems okay until you realize the average ‘keener’ person only gets 8 tries at that in a day resulting in maybe 3 drops.
Am I supposed to be getting stuck on this one part of the warehouse raid for two days to get 6 drops? That’s actually the intention?

Out of 5 times doing the task today (I was a slacker, yes) I got one dog food drop. I’m pretty fed up (no pun intended) with the stage.

I found that if I speed up Mort’s task that the dog food drops. I wait until it costs 1 clam to finish the task and then speed it up, boom dog food. I will always be a free player and I stock pile my clams, but so far in this event it’s been worth using the 4-5 clams I earn every day to get through Mort’s task.

If you have any stored they are placed before you can buy more even if you are clicking from the store once all stored ones are placed you can buy more and hats will drop again

Pretty frustrated. Had 3 goons. Sent them to do the forklift obstacle. Phone rang so game exited out. Go back into game after phone call, no goons, forklift obstacle not complete, but cookies gone from originally hiring the goons.
(My game only says I need 3 goons, where as you say more. Is that a 2nd tier attack on the house?)

Was having issues with getting kicked out of game everytime at startup even after uninstall/reinstall…..but by the 3rd or 4th try I get in and it works fine (except I did get kicked out during the game twice claiming cockroach prize). Currently ranked 1,800’s so that is cool (as long as I get zootsuit and Corleone I could not care what color the griffen house is) . This chart is amazingly helpful!!! Do you think the premium characters they release will only be Godfather related or do you think we will be seeing characters from other mafia films/t.v?

This is more of a joke than any episode of FG, but I seem to missing the punch line.
What is the point of a leaderboard, if the game crashes, and blocks you out whenever you progress?. I have had a flurry of emails between myself and Tiny Co. Waste of time, waste of money.
The Christmas event was bad enough, I only just stayed with it.
Had enough now, can only give so many chances.
I also play The Simpsons, never crashed, not once, happy to buy doughnuts there, much more confident that my effort is not wasted, seriously considering staying in Springfield.

I also know the difference in support here vs there… as here it is just them… there it is THOUSANDS of Outsourced scripted reps that try to “help” players.
It does suck when the game goes down, sadly this isn’t the only one that deals with it. Sorry. Wish I could give you better news other than they are working on it and it is progressing.

I keep getting fedoras and they’re not.going in my total. What a lousy event this has been so far. The leaderboard is a joke. It literally is impossible to get prize #1 if you don’t spend $1000 on a game which is a big f.u to the rest of us.

I’ve noticed that when there are multiple fedoras on the field, the first fedora that flies into the counted updates it with the total of all the ones on the field. So when the others fly into the counter, they’ve already been counted and it appears not to grow. I don’t know if this is just me.

No… it happens to me all the time too. I just watch my overall count and keep track of what it was when I leave the game. Then take note of it before I tap on anything to collect again. I have seen it many many many times, a “group” total added even though not all the Fedora Images have been “collected” from the game.

If I win zoot suit stewie but I don’t have stewie. Do I lose the prize? Also I bought consuela because of the kingpin and now I find out she is given with the character! Waste of 300 clams. Also I don’t get how someone have 12 thousand mob rep … Its impossible! The fact too is that I can’t go to oileland or collect characters from the drunken clam and the game crashes when I do click them. I wish I could get at least a bonus for wasting my clams on a free character… It should have said that.

Message TinyCo in regards to Consuela and see what they say (FYI kindness goes a long way), Don’t worry about HOW players are gaining. Leave the game policing up to TinyCo. If they are legit… then they stay… if not… then off they go.

I don’t think it’s impossible if you spend a lot of clams to speed things up, such as releasing the goons right away rather than waiting for them to incubate or zipping characters through tasks that earn fedoras. Spend the money, reap the rewards. Some people have an entertainment budget that they choose to spend on games, not really any different than buying tickets to movies, plays, opera or buying newspapers and magazines or paying the outrageous cable bill that keeps going up while service goes down… Part of the game for me is to not spend real money, but I’m genetically programmed to be a cheapskate.
My standing on the leaderboard is fluctuating, but I was ranked about 8200 yesterday (in the 1300s today). Yesterday’s rank would have gotten me Corleone holding his cat, zoot suit for Stewie, and a metal-coated Griffin house (bronze?). Not bad for pure freemium. Jeez, I hope I don’t end up with that dead horse head in the bed… Would go straight into storage and stay there. Well, that’s motivation. Anyway, if I can get such ranks – they’re being pretty nice about it.

My game is working again! Woo-hoo! Apparently they fixed something, cuz I’ve successfully loaded my game twice in a row without crashing! I DID go from around 3000 to 8500 on the leaderboards, but I’m a good climber… 😉 Thank you TinyCo! And of course, as always, thank you two wonderful ladies for not just putting up with, but always helping with all of the boo-hoos, waa-waas, and all around female-dogging from all of us… You rule!

so i have had a very frustrating 2 days on my samsung galaxy note 3,trying to get in my game and stay in my game. I get a “unfortunately,family guy stopped” message. I have managed to complete some stuff with great patience,but now that i am almost done with safehouse raid number 2,I get kicked out after the three goons raid it. then I have to start all over again and wait for the three goons to be ready again. this will be my third attempt. I am in the 2000’s in rank right now, hate to see where i’ll be if this junk keeps up. I hope they fix it soon, time is cookies,as they say…

Stuck on my 2nd raid, had to send peter on a tommy gun before i triggered the 2nd raid. So even though Chris was done and ready to clear task, now have long wait to clear 2nd and i cant eve send mort on dog food errand so he goes to help diabeto, so more delays to clear stage!
Bunny sound like you burn clams, do you burn most on clearing skin/character goodies collecting, Or just churn n burn on the individual tasks? The cam costs arent always equivalent. What do you find is best use of clams?

I burn through LOTS for sake of the site content. As well as constant testing of drops, tasks, etc. Pretty much A-Z. Lol. 😉
My best thoughts on ANY clam item, only get what makes YOU happy. If that is a Building, Character, etc. As with this game, they don’t come into play too often once Events are over. So spend to make YOU happy. Get YOU what you desire. That way 3 months from now you are not disappointed. I also suggest to use Clams to their fullest extent. Meaning like me, by discounted Gift Cards to get more for less. Watch for in game sales/bargains too to stretch it more. Watch for App Market Offers like Amazon Coins to stretch it. In game watch for what gets you more as well, sometimes outright buy is cheaper than speeding a task or vice versa.

I was gifted some clams, so I bought the clam shady rv, but while it says I have 9 goon capacity, it won’t let me hire more than 6?? The capacity reads 6/9. What am I missing to get all 9 on board?

Capacity is the amount in your game TOTAL. 6 is the cap of the amount you can queue at a time.

So regarding the leader board timer, I went from rank 3000ish to rank 10050ish. Wow. I’m at around 1235 mob rep, which I think is pretty good given I play frequently, I’ve already unlocked fatfather Peter and I’m almost done with Diabeto. I’ll be disappointed if I can’t get the Don, but as it’s looking like I’m going freemium on this event, I’ve prepared myself.

The rank drop is because between updates only your score changes not others. And I don’t get how people are at 16k. You would have to have spent thousands of clams to get there….

So, when you send a goon to raid a cookie truck and it says it will drop cookies & lard for diabeto, that’s supposed to be always, right? Or is it a sometimes kind of drop?
Because last 4 raids I have been given cookies and fedoras but no lard! I just want to check here and make sure it is supposed to be an “always drop” like it seems to me, before I write to TinyCo in game.
Otherwise, I’ll just have to be patient, I suppose…

I did not see it notated as always, just the CHANCE listed for each of the items for Diabeto. The ONLY “ALWAYS” kinds of drops I have seen are the Raids at the Safehouse. On the Obstacles listed that specifically drop the Candies.

The new raid update won’t let me even enter the area. When I try to use 5 goons and break the piñata at the beginning of the third raid the game shuts down and when I log back in my goons are gone and the piñata is not broken. It’s happend twice and tiny co isn’t responding . Any suggestions?

I’m “required” rank 4 atm, so I got that going for me. Also can’t wait for the lois and bonnie outfits.
But what about the mansion updates? Are there any requirements? Or is it upgradable through questst?

It will ask you to Update it in Part 6 Mob Mentality. Just watch for the options. 🙂

That is the only one. The OTHER requirement… like you said… is NOT for 2 more days. So there is no way anyone will know those requirements… until they hit… in 2 days. 😉

I have needed 2 bags of dog food to complete part two of the 2nd warehouse run since yesterday afternoon and after sending Mort on the task like 10 times i am still at exactly the same point. Frustrating drop rates..especially for a so called uncommon drop rate. Ugh! Between that and the constant crashes causing the loss of goons and the time it takes to replace them it is making an otherwise cool event annoying. Such a shame. Msgd tinyco a few times so far with no response. Hope they get this figured out soon!

How do I put my Star Trek characters into inventory?, for that matter Shamus to, he has absolutely nothing to do in this event, same for Connie.
I don’t know how to put my non-factor characters into inventory to get them off of the task list.

If you are far enough in your Districts, all you do is tap on the Character and the task list will Pop Up. Right under their image, you will see the “Inventory” icon. Tap on it to store them and any Walking Decorations you want to tuck away.

I just wish I could join in on the fun, in quite literally my favorite game ever created. But I’ve been locked out since Sunday. I know TinyCo is “working on it,” but man… I now understand the frustration of all the people who have had these problems in the past. I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting tactics, and have been emailing back and forth with TinyCo since yesterday. I hope, I hope, I hope………..

Well i at least qualify for the Don and Zoot Suit Stewie. I don’t agree with the leaderboard thing, but let’s face it, they give an inch and take a mile, this won’t comeback next event. I’m sorry but freemium or not, you’re still sunk if you turn off the free players with stuff that makes the game something else entirely. Basically this becomes like an MMO pay to win game and at worse becomes something where only those who pay in will get new characters. Honestly though it’s not like the Don will be useful in later events, just as all that clams i spent on the Star Trek characters didn’t pay off. I understand not making it unfair to new players, but this leaderboard even then isn’t enough pay off.

I’m not too far in the game (only up to Asiantown), so all characters who earn money are useful to me. I have loads of pricey land to clear. If you don’t want them cluttering up your streets, just send them on long tasks behind closed doors. My tiny band of Star Trek characters are pulling in the loot routinely, indoors and out, even though they don’t help with events.

Just had a weird one. Finally got enough dog food and moved to the forklift. I hit the ! and the goons start beating on the forklift. Surprise! Game crashes. Log back in and goons are gone but forklift task is still there. Not the biggest issue in the world but now I have to wait an hour and a half for more goons. Just thought I would mention this.

So leaserboards says: leaderboard refresh in 1439:40 does that mean in 14hours? O.0 because that takes way too long! Also does that mean when the timer hits 0 we see how far we progressed? I mean I’m currently going up with more hats but not down.
When it refreshes in 14hours does that mean I see where everyone else is and that incan go down than?

I think it is an overall clean sweep of the entire board that often, because every time I go in my game, I move.

I think the way it works is everyone’s position based on their mob rep is updated only once or twice a day. Throughout the day, as you gain mob rep, it will appear as if your relative position is changing but that’s only because the other players’ mob rep does NOT update. It’s not real time.

Correct. So to check every few minutes on the Global won’t really help. Just once or twice a day is fine. 🙂
Individual will be different. Those update faster. Same with your Friends.

I have an S3 phone and samsung tablet, I’ve tried everything and Nothing will let me past the loading screen, game quits as soon as the yellow bar fills up. Going on 3 days now of no game play.

Mort’s task to drop dog food is listed as uncommon, but I haven’t even gotten 1 item in the last 2 days from him. Is it supposed to be labeled extra rare?

Nathan, you are not alone. There really needs to be a ‘bail out cap’ on these items. How many 2 hour tasks seeking uncommon items should I have to do before getting just 1? And I need 3? …if I still don’t have an item tomorrow I’m going to rage.

TinyCo just doesn’t get it, I’ve mailed them 3 times requesting another task for dog food drops. It’s ridiculous the way they lay this out. I KNOW that you have to collect everything to stop the bottle label drops BUT theyre asking us to let busy work like the brewery get in the way of an event. Other characters that are common ( because we know TinyCo apparently slants the game to new players without regard to those of us who are mixed players) have 2 hour tasks that could be used!!

What about the Leaderboards? New players won’t have as many Characters or the ability to go as far as seasoned ones. Nor the Clams, unless they invest.
As far as the Mort task… they are aware of concerns (trust me I voiced many) but right now their main priority is the Crashing issue locking players out of the game. Especially since it is linked to the Safehouse where that task is triggered. So let’s give them time to first resolve the area to begin with and allow lost players back in the game, then focus on additional “options” and changes added. 🙂
Messaging them was good. It will help to see that players feel same as me with the task. 🙂

My opinion on the leadership boards is it should be entirely freemium based, if you want to buy premium items that help you out in the game, fine, but that “help” should not be reflected in the tally on the leadership boards, just the personal board.

The Individual is Freemium Based, but I personally feel ANYONE that invests money into a game…. no matter the game… should be rewarded with some perks. Regardless what they are. Those investments are what keeps the game running for “free” players to enjoy. Keeps the new content coming. The “Characters” that have to be paid for to get legal copyright to use their image. So why not give them some kind of a bonus? I think that is rightfully fair, don’t you?
To date, I have not seen a lot in return for purchasing Premium items as far as a longevity, so I like the fact that now someone investing that much time or money in the game can possibly have an “Exclusive” item to show for it. I feel that is very fair. My personal thoughts anyway. 🙂

Awesome rewards. I hope that eventually I’ll be able to earn something, but for now FGTQFS is just a loading screen simulator. LOL. Everytime I try to claim the raid prize in Consuela safe house the game crashes and exits. After a lot of attemps to log in again, it allowes me to claim the prize. Hopefully it will be patched soon.

Not everybody plays the same. So it will definitely vary on every players daily activities and WHEN they complete them. Also, how many times they complete them.

Can you just keep sending Mort to earn dog food and stockpile to go thru the raids several at a time? Like in past or is that kind of speed not needed to meet the multiplier time level? Is it timed?

No, though I did make the suggestion to them already when the Event started to allow it to be there ALL the time for that purpose. I suggest others do the same from their games. 😉

Are they ever going to stop having characters do quests that also give out items for the Brewery? I’ve sent Mort to retreat cowardly four times now, each one dropping some crap for the Brewery.

The Brewery drops will NOT interfere with the Event drops. In other words, it is an Uncommon drop, so not meant to drop all the time. So the times it is supposed to drop, it will as intended. All the other times will be filled with coin & XP or in your case Brewery Items. 🙂
To completely get out of dropping items, complete the Brewery items. Make them ALL to their limits.

Bunny have to disagree strongly with you here, Mort has dropped labels for me when on the task to get dog food. People are sick of the brewery Do we really need 4 trees or bushes with beer botrs? two of the same stupid band members or the ” takes you a month to build one” hops fountains?? Seriously they just need to change the task! Give it to Brian or Stewie orrrrrr I don’t know, the 60 some characters currently doing NOTHING

I never said he will not. I am stating that the drops will NOT overwrite each other. The Engineers were very specific on that point. If it is meant to drop, it will. If not, than any other item linked to the task will drop at it’s rate, mixed in with coin and XP. If you feel differently, email them. But you may just get the exact response I just gave you as it is the MAIN thing I focus on every event. I intentionally do NOT have all the items from the Brewery to test it each event. I still got Dog Food dropping. At an Uncommon rate, just like stated in the game. Sorry.

To take it one step further, I even just redid it in my game. I triggered the task (as you can see WITH Brewery item drops included) …
Then using Clams to speed the task, I completed it 7 times. Notice BOTH Dog Food and Brewery item drops involved.
It is not the best task set up, no. That is why I suggested to them to leave it up ALWAYS so you can stockpile some dog food. But still, the drops are working. 🙂

I’m not at the brewery yet, so I never get drops for it (don’t even show in Mort’s list of tasks). But Mort just doesn’t always drop dog food bags. He’s been doing his turtle shell thing several times now and only one bag has dropped. So I can believe what Bunny says, the brewery drops and event drops for turtle Mort are two separate streams and don’t affect each other. So you will still get all the drops intended for the dog food while you are also getting all your brewery drops. They are independent happenings.
