Hey there Mafioso!
Looks like TinyCo added an additional Challenge Element into the games today. Many of you probably already saw the “Speed Feed Diabeto” Pop Up into your game.
Let’s take a look at this in a bit further detail.
Just to clarify this right away, these Challenges will ONLY be seen by select Players that have spent Clams in the past on in game Purchases. This is also SUPPOSED to be “VERY Challenging“. So it is an optional item for some Players to try. You do NOT have to do these Challenges if you do not want to. In other words, you may have to spend Clams to complete the Challenge.
These all will be a ONE DAY TIMER… so you have 24hrs to complete this Challenge.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE NEW CHALLENGES INFO?
Outside of getting the in game pop up of the task and timer associated, if you go into your Event Menu (Don Corleone Icon, Lower Right Side), tap on it.
You will see a NEW Section has been added to it. One with a Timer on it. Tap on the Timer Icon.
This is where you will see the Prizes for the New Challenges added.
FIRST CHALLENGE & PRIZE
The First of these Challenges just popped into our game and involved Diabeto. Here is what I saw in my game. It came with a 24hr Timer attached.

Have Diabeto Overeat- 12hrs, Earns 35

**TAKE DOWN CLEVELAND’S CASINO TASK
Taking Down Cleveland’s Casino means you have completed ALL 3 Star Raids, have the Geronimo Casino, and have moved on to the Additional “Optional Raids”. To Complete this task you will have to do a COMPLETE Run on one of the “Optional Raids”. For me this was FIVE Obstacles total.
I had already completed 5 Optional Raids, so it already took that into account when the Task Popped up for the Challenge and checked it off for me.
I was going to post this tomorrow with the rest of the Casino info, but as it may come in use now… I will attach it here too. Keep in mind, this is what I got in MY game. Your options may vary.

Reward for Completion: 100 Fedoras x 2.5X Multiplier/ 250 Fedoras
As you can see, they vary in items as well as Payout. You can keep doing these over and over to continue to earn more Mob Rep to help you out in your totals. Keep in mind, for the tasks… you are also getting Mob Rep & Cookies for completing them on top of the Obstacle Payouts.
FYI: At the end of the last 2.5X Multiplier, it did reset back to the 1X and starts up the chain again.
MY THOUGHTS
Honestly… it depends on WHERE you are already when these Challenges Pop Up and WHAT you already have and have done in your game. For me… it wasn’t that bad as the Optional Raid was done already, so instant check off there. I always keep my Capacity running on Goons, so that wasn’t too bad either… more just waiting on Trucks to show up… which is constant. So find out where you are… if it is doable within the time allotted… go for it. If you are days behind, it may not be worth it. But… that is really up to YOU. Just like Premiums, where you invest your time and Clams will come down to what makes YOU happy to use them on.
I did use Clams to speed it up for sake of the details, but I could have made it just fine with some time to spare without using them within the 24hrs. Close, but doable.
There you have it. The Basics of the New Challenges dropped into our games. Now I know what many of you may say already, I will only add this… pass any concerns on to TinyCo on this one. Give them some “Constructive Criticism” on it. I know I already did. If you need it, use the What The Deuce too. 🙂

I have sent a message to TinyCo regarding the tuba drops for the Cleveland Jr. unlock. I have smashed 15 (minimum) of the girl scouts and have yet to get a tuba to drop. This is just plain stupid. Has there been any information on changing to always drop instead of the super rare drop that it is?

So, I take it that people who’ll get the Don will be the same people who actually managed to complete this challange? As a freemium completionist, this event is really starting to get on my nerves. It feels like a big middle finger from Tinyco to freemium players.

I just spent 50 clams spending up luchadors to complete the casino run and I didn’t even win! During the time limit, I was already in the middle of one, and when I completed I didn’t get the prize. So I thought maybe I had to do a complete run within the time limit; still nothing! 😡

I failed the speed feed challenge when it started early while I was barely halfway through the 3rd star. Dropped them a message stating the ridiculous time limit for so many tasks and just now I found the 1st challenge showed complete with jackpot sign in my stash. 🙂

So I just got a popup now inviting me to “rise to the challenge” and to complete all five challenges to win the grand prize. A little late for that don’t you think?
I also got a reply to my in game complaint about this challenge basically thanking me for my feedback. Since I’m not a huge Godfather fan I’m not really angry about not making this challenge, but i am much less likely to buy clams in the future.

Wtd? In my complaint I also reported that my perfectly legal conference room still wasn’t unlocked; so now I just looked and it’s not even in the store to buy anymore? It’s not in my inventory either. So that was their solution: just remove it? Tinyco you’re starting to piss me off!
(And yes, i know you all don’t work for tinyco and none of this is your fault. Just venting and seeing if this happened to anyone else…)

I will ask this… was that your FIRST or an additional one? Because you should have only got one. For many Players, myself included, a 2nd one appeared in the menu locked shortly after buying and placing the original FIRST one.
So if it was indeed a 2nd one… never supposed to be there in the first place. That is the one they were removing. The 2nd. 😉

TinyCo has been helping me so much to break my addiction to this game. When I have a chance at everything, I want everything, and will work around the clock to get it (once in a while I’ll even throw a handful of clams at it to help). The more they put into the game that’s unattainable, the more often I’m forced to tell myself to let it go. Forcing me out of the game for 4 days with no compensation has even broken my hope of a good spot on the leaderboard. Throwing in a timed challenge when I’m only on the second star of the casino was an additional slap into reality. I’m learning I don’t ‘need’ to have everything now, and soon that will include the need to play this game at all. My family will be so happy to have me back. Thanks, TinyCo!
Seriously, though, this game used to be fun- with nice little additions to challenge me once in a while. Now it’s challenges all the time with impossibilities or technical issues regularly thrown in. If there wasn’t the chance of a Blue Harvest event (I know you say it’s unlikely, but I have to believe there’s a chance) I’d have been done with it during the Star Trek event. I’ve been playing for over a year, but I’m not sure how much more I can take of the ‘new and improved’ TinyCo business model. I always gave them the benefit of the doubt because they cared and listened to the players. I used to come to this site to find strategies to gain an advantage here and there. Now it’s only to see what strategy I missed out on after TinyCo discovered it and took it away (oops! another glitch we need to remove right away! But a patch to fix the game? Let’s work on that for a week). Yep- I’ve almost got this addiction beat. And that’s a lot more satisfying than another character skin that I’ll never see used in the game again after the event’s over.

Sweet from that speed feed diabeto I went from rank 6000ish to rank 1700. And I’ve spent less than 20 clams this event. Pretty sweet. I did buy clams to get cookies and was gonna spend it on Mike Tyson….but this event kinda sucks so far which is sad cuz I grew up with and love la costa nostra.

Having an issue and needing help. Since yesterday my game is asking for an update but there is no update in the store, playing on iPad. My phone isn’t an iPhone and the game runs fine. Is this a know issue? Tried deleting n downloading to no avail.

Right now you can’t play across multiple platforms. Android is on a higher version than iOS. TinyCo sent the update to Apple at the same time they sent it to Android, Apple’s just taking forever to approve it.

Is it just me or does it seem like Tiny Co is going the down the same greedy path as regular video games?? Release a product you know is not finished and full of bugs, fix it later with a “update” or “patch” but get all the money now. There’s so many problems with this logic but the main one is that this game has time limits for most things in all these events they put out that never seem to work right. All us consumers that spend money and even ones that don’t miss out on achieving all the things these events have to offer because of the “bugs” they they don’t fix. “hey customers, you say your game keeps crashing or your locked out for a day or two, we won’t fix that but here is a new premium character to buy or here is a new weekly challenge that you more then likely have to spend more money on to even complete unless you were lucky enough to finish a side task that you had no idea you would have had to complete beforehand to even have a chance”. I know it’s all an option to spend money but they know what they’re doing with all these dang near broken events releasing every month. This game use to be so much fun before the quantity of money they make is way more important than the quality of the product they put out!! If you say that these events aren’t a blatant money grabber then your kidding yourself..I know they have to make money but it shouldn’t be at the expense of putting out a working product!!

I beat this challenge but had to spend 19 clams in order to speed up Diabeto with his overeating. I enjoy this game and I’m a daily player every since the beginning being on the game every chance I get during the day and night except when I sleep. I have for the most part everything, not EVERYTHING, but somewhat everything I like. I haven’t cheated nor gotten anything illegally. I’ve spent more than $500 dollars, throughout the course of this game, and I treat this as if it was a bill to pay so I buy the $19.99 deal on every event if I can. It’s an OCD thing of mine to be able to have everything running smoothly. So far I’ve been experiencing the hats not registering for accurate count. When I collect them some register and some don’t, so the count is wrong! I get frustrated more than I get angry when things become glitchy. I hope TinyCo fixes this issue since I’ve been told other players have encountered the same problem. Other than that it’s a cool game.

Each event gets progressively worse. I started the game during the 2nd week of comicon and was able to get everything (free) from the event with no clams. The thought of doing that for every other event is comical. And now tiny Co is profiting off of a character that’s a convicted rapist. At least they are making it clear that they are only in business to suck every potential penny from its customers.

I got screwed on this one, it popped just after I finished the second casino raid, so I still have the 3 star raid to complete and no chance. It’s only a deco so I’m not too worried, but I seriously hope failing this doesn’t lock me out of the next challenge.

My situation exactly. Just after the second raid it popped. Impossible, so I didn’t bother. But now I see it’s a challenge line, hope I don’t lose next opportunities. But then again, if they are this hard and impossible if you fell behind the others are probably not doable for me either. Thanks for giving every one the same chances with these. Now My reward for being a clamspender is seeing stuff I cannot do.

I did the Speed Feed Diabeto quest and completely wreak it. I already had two girl scouts down and used clams to speed up my men to do my last two and it didn’t change. Had already finished 1st raid of my casino and figured after I finished my second it would count but it didn’t. I was gonna clear the last of my cookie trucks but at this time felt defeated so I gave up. Contacted tiny Co not sure if they will do anything but hey life goes on lol

Hi, I’m a premium player who buys clams on occasion. I’m not completist but I play daily & have been playing since game release. I just want to be the ONE person on here who is not currently angry at the game. I received the challenge popup and understood immediately that it was not about finishing the regular casino runs. Why would it be? That’s part of another task. They put in an extra hard task that required forethought and effort to figure out if & how to beat it. Sometimes these type of games can be so boring when you don’t have to use your brain too much; instead you are just sending people on tasks. With Simpsons you at least have a lot of land so you can be creative in designing your Springfield. With this challenge I suppose I was near the right place at the right time, one full task away from finishing my 3rd casino run. I still need tubas and boxing gloves but I mapped out how best to get luchados & hitman to see if I can beat the challenge. I only spent 8 clams to speed up Bonnie twice but I finished the challenge with 2 hours to spare. It was doable even if in the middle of 3rd run of casino. I am okay with the fact that not everyone can get everything. It’s a game. Some will want to put more or less time into it and some will want to spend money. Not every item is guaranteed & this challenge was not a normal one that was meant for all players to succeed. It was something more difficult for those that were already further along. As for the leaderboard, I was sceptical but I withheld my judgement until it started. I have since discovered that someone that plays like I do (no cheats, sometimes clam buyer, daily player) can be one of the top 5 prizes which is really part of the top 50k players. I really don’t spend too much time thinking about where everyone else lands, including those that may cheat or have unlimited cash for games. I’m not them & I don’t/can’t play like them. Those with game issues. I’m sorry. I feel for you. I was locked out of the Comic-con event. I was so ridiculously unhappy about that, so I feel for you. Anyways. I appreciate all the work that goes into the game by the designers. Do I hate that they make money off me? Sometimes. But they have employees and bills to pay too. Do I wish I could everything I want when I want it for free? Sure. But then it wouldn’t be a game. I spend if I really want to and I just try to laugh and have fun when I don’t. And thank you addicts for your work and being a resource for players. 🙂

It should have been finish any level in the casino. I had just finished the 2nd one (because I was behind on consuelas so it wouldnt let me upgrade the mansion so I was behind on everything haha). Meaning I needed 27 hours to complete the level and the girl scouts and the trucks. Then I’d need another 16 hours to finish additional level 1.
Thats 43 hours Aka impossible.
There was no warning, there was no minium requirement to start the task, nothing. All I (and most others) knew was that you had to have done the 3 levels by the end of the week so thats what you plan for.
If they had said ‘theres a timed challange coming on tuesday, we recomend you to have finished the casino by then’ people would have been able to plan for it. But no they just keep giving a dumb pop up about the leaderboards.
I’m not angry, I really like the game. I’m just dumbfounded how tinyco keep making mistakes like this. They seem to learn in certain aspects and make the events better and then forget other lessons. This isnt the first time they brought out a timed challange that was impossible for most because there was no warning (to plan for) i think it was for Klaus. Tinyco sorted it out, said they had learned. They seemed to have… 5 events later make the mistake again :S
Also saying its a challange, you might HAVE to use clams. Thats not a challange, thats a pay wall. Something Tinyco seems to have problems with quite often. A lot of the time they listen and fix it, then it doesnt happen for a while, then bang pay wall. (With pay wall I mean a thing you cant get passed with out paying. For many players this was considered a pay wall because it was impossible to pass without clams) if they wanted you to pay for it, make it clams. Dont pretend its a ‘challange’.
Again, I love the game. Its gave me a lot of laughs etc (like Diabeto, I love his roll and voice haha) but they HAVE to start learning from their mistakes, because eventually people will just give up. And I’m not sure but I dont think they have the fanbase tapped out seems to have to be able to survive if a lot of players stopped.
Oh and since you mentioned the leaderboards, why dont you win every prize under you? Atm I’m stuck with stewies suit, a costume that will never be used again in an event and doesnt even look as good as his overals (the only costume that would look better imo is his peter outfit haha). I’d much rather have the toll booth or the cat. Makes no sense that since you did better you miss out. I still dont understand why they didnt just do a community leaderboard :S much more fun imo but hey I’d be fine if they gave you every prize under you.
Anyway its becoming an essay haha, I hope I explained my point in there somewhere 😛 (basically there should have been a warning for people who wanted to try the challange but where behind, that way they could focus on the casino and be ready for when the ‘hard challange’ started.)

I get your point about understanding the quest. A lot of people are upset though (like me) with this quest because when it initially popped, we hadn’t gotten the third star yet. And then (like me) when we got the third star, that task on the quest was checked. It wasn’t until 6-8 hours later that the quest was clarified and we lost our check mark. For me, that meant I had 18 hours left to complete the quest, but about 30 hours worth of tasks to do and not enough clams to speed things up and meet the deadline. I’m personally upset about the lack of consistency and planning. It does seem like this quest could have been better planned. Needless to say, I was not able to complete this quest despite my best efforts. And I do log into the game several times times a day and i’m in the top 3000 on the leader-board. Will I keep playing the event? Absolutely! Am I angry? No, just disappointed.

The thing is , the quest initially popped for me and it was worded differently. It only required clearing the casino. No mention of “optional”. So, I put off using my goons to take down the gold cookie wagons , to get gloves for fight promoter Cleveland, used them instead to clear 12 purple wagons, plus the luchadors for the gurl scout takedowns , and the other requirements. Only to find out as I finished up , that the quest was now reworded as clearing the first “optional ” casino run . So, I was a little peeved , I spent money to get the 5000 cookies , spent clams to buy items to help me complete the quest, that in actuality, I had no chance of getting done in time.

Considering I was only at the 2 star level, this was never going to happen in 24 hours. There was no way to get enough masks to make enough luchadores to do it. Piss poor idea I reckon

This task felt like an insult to me. I’ve cleared dozens of Gurl Scouts and only received 4 tubas. Have messaged them in-game twice about it, and gotten no response. I usually keep it pretty positive on here, but they’re starting to lose me.

I guess it was true that we can expect a few people to get dropped from the leaderboard. I only gain a few mob hats since i couldn’t complete the speed quest, but i continue to move up. Well so be it. I’m just glad to get another suit for Stewie, useless, but still, it’s stewie in a zoot suit so its all good 🙂

Guess I was 1 of the lucky ones……
This timed quest popped up while I was on the last obstacle of the 1st additional raid
So I checked that off almost instantly. Plus I only send diabeto on 2hr quest as I don’t the think the luchidor mask quest is worth tieing diabeto up all day for.
So I only had 2 focus on the gurl scouts n the trucks….. I got the task finished with over 5hrsome to spare with no clams spent

😛 Don’t gloat 😉 No seriously congrats. I wonder how many people were actually able to achieve this challenge? I am sure the percentages were pretty low. So big accomplishment! I was no where near. Just starting the optional raid when the clock ran out.

Ya. For me personally, I’m not mad just frustrated cause I know I could have done this, if I weren’t so behind from not being able to load it for a few days. I really don’t let myself get angry about about something which is supposed to be fun. I just WTD it sometimes to vent. It’s just a game and if I ever get to the point where I don’t like it anymore, I will just take a break from it or quit playing.

Did it twice. In my main clam game I already had the first barrier down. I would have completed for zero clams, except I accidentally tapped a goon instead of a luchador for the final part I needed. I wasted 3 hours on a gold truck early, so it was totally doable.
In my free game I had to use my precious free clams. I had to do the whole raid, plus all the gathering. In the end I had to clam some of the Peter/joe/quag tasks, and some luchadores. I think I used 30 clams, but that game is on the free clam trial, so getting 4 per day has helped boost those stocks.
If the challenge popped before people had completed stage 3, then I can understand the anger. That was uncool. But even for me, being ready (though unaware!) at the start of the challenge, there weren’t enough hours in the day to complete without clams. 6 hours for goons, 4, 5, 6 luchador for the Casino then 4 more for the gurl scouts. That’s more than 24h without waiting for the missions which required at least one 4 hour wait.
But 30 free clams is a small price to pay to stay in the game for the next challenges.

Craig, your rarity in completing this should see you and your game go down in history, ha. Glad someone made it, I lucked out, first failure for me since Peepants. Paid also some clams for it. But absolutely no chance to archieve it. I was about 4 days behind with my android phone because i was locked out of the game. My only source for Masks was Mike and i upgraded my mansion 1 hour before this popped up. Was still fighting with consuela before.
I also should have read more carefully about the raid part. Got no chance to archieve it.
This timing with the bug before is really bad. Was also about 2 days not able t oget gloves from the golden trucks. And the game is also crushing every some actions. Since the Star Trek event, which i totally loved, this games become unplayable for me in major events. Maybe the city is to great?

Finished my Speed Feed Raid with 5 minutes to spare. I had to speed up two goons for my trucks, only because I had to fall asleep last night, (;

I had no optional raids up my sleeve when this started and I only have the three sources for masks, so even if I stay up all night I will still be 5 Luchadors short for the last obstacle. Diabeto drops masks, but it’s a 24 hour task in itself. Oh well, I guess I’ll just plod along until the next unmanageable challenge …

Sorry if I missed it, but after the first optional raid that is timed, are the rest also timed?
(I completed first op raid & it was well worth it to get 500 in mob rep!!)

The Challenge is only for one Optional Raid, so it is not the Raid itself that is timed… but the Challenge. As for any of the future Challenges, we do not know how those will play out til they hit too.

I finished this with 15 minutes to spare and as I was claiming the reward my game crashed. When I reloaded my progress had reset and all my luchadores were gone. I can no longer finish in time without spending a ton of clams.

I’d already completed 2 optional raids when it popped up and figured it would auto give me that part of the task but it didn’t and I used more clams to complete an additional optional raid only for it to still not give it to me. I’ve already taken down the casino and like I said have now completed 3 optional raids but will not get the weekly prize due to this glitch. Not impressed. And I do buy clams.. I’ve reported to tinyco but do not crossing my fingers

Update: Within 24 hours TinyCo had righted the situation awarding me with the prize for the timed event as well as the mob rep I should have won. Excellent support response. Two thumbs way up!!

I spent a decent amount of clams on lunchadors so that I would have everything that I needed to complete this challenge with roughly 10 minutes to spare only to realize I didn’t have a check next to the casino challenge. I thought I was going crazy until I read other comments on here on the change in wording for that requirement. When this challenge initiated I was half way through my second run of the casino. So not only did I need to finish that run and go through two more times (one more than I thought) but I needed to acquire 12 goons (6 hours) and 8 lunchadors (8 hours to hire but I could only generate 3 masks every 4 hours. So thats 12 hours to generate the masks I needed). I may have had a fighting chance at this challenge had I already been through with my third run of the casino. I understand that these timed challenges are supposed to be difficult but this is just plain impossible! This may be my final straw with this game….

I need help right now please! They changed the rule from “take down the casino” to “take down the first optional round” AFTER I had spent 90 clams!! This is completely unfair! I have an hour left, get them to fix this! They either owe me the “tonn of mob rep” or my 90 clams! It’s disgusting to treat a paying customer this way! Please help me? I have COMPLETED this quest! Now I need to spend a couple hundred more clams because they changed the rules!

Sorry, that is something you will have to take up with them. It was always the “optional” raids. That never changed. They just updated the wording to make more of an impact clarification.

Well, that’s not the way it was originally worded. The only way for players to know would be through here or a similar fan site. That is not right. I spent clams as well to speed up actions, only to have them change the challenge. The original wording did not specify that it was an additional raid.

The weird thing is even though they gave me the Speed Feed Diabeto challenge that there was NO way for me to complete as I just got through the 2nd star, I don’t even have that timer icon in my game. Maybe it’s because I’ve never spent clams to buy anything in the game. I’ve used them to speed up things in the past, but never bought anything. Therefore, they shouldn’t even have given me the option to do it.

I forgot to add that I’ve never purchased any clams with money either. I just periodically use the clams I have earned through the game from the ads, quests or mystery gift boxes, so why I was even offered this as an option I’ll never know.

This challenge might be doable, if it wasn’t for the crashing issue, I’ve only just got back into the game properly, managed to finish off Consualas warehouse raid, missed out on the extra raids in order to keep up with the event time line, took ages getting started with Clevelands quest line, and only just started getting Luchadors, yesterday evening. And now I have 24 hours to aquire 16 masks (4 hours per 2) and create 8 Luchadors to clear 4 girl scouts… fail!

Well this is the first challenge I will not complete. Also I will now be uninterested in doing the following weekly challenges since I can not get the grand prize. I have played since the start but TinyCo has slowly turned me off of this once fun game. I have been a premium player but now I will be playing as a casual Freemium player from this point on.

There is no way to complete this 24 hour challenge even if you stayed awake all night working on it. I was at the end of All In Pt 2. With the amount of luchadors needed to complete All In Pt 3, I will barely get through this level in 24 hours, much less complete the Optional Casino Raid. By my calculations, I needed 3 luchadors for Part 2 end, 11 for all of Part 3, and 17 for the optional raid. Each of these takes an hour to mine, so who did the fuzzy math on this challenge? Way to go TinyCo. I’m ready to uninstall.

I think I know where TinyCo screwed up. Its the time limit. Regularly when they do these timed challenges they have it set for 3 days, which makes it possible to complete. Somebody set it to 24 hours, which we all know is beyond impossible.

It is doable but it is hard! The point where you are is the main problem, this challenge should not start earlier than earning the 3rd star, well when you are able to do the first optional raid.
I was lucky, I prioritized the raids this week after I missed out on the optional bonuses last week. So I finished the 3rd raid in the morning yesterday, than the Tuba issue saved me to waste the lunchadors masks on the gurl scouts and started on the first optional raid. I had 2 masks when the challenge started, finished it with 20 minutes to spare and rushed bonnie once for 2 clams in order to keep the lunchador “production” running. Downside I had to set one alarm at night!
… but still I passed my thesis defense more than successful this afternoon 🙂 more than happy today!

Oh TinyCo how disappointed I am in you. Firedog Brian and now this?! Saying one thing and then changing it? I could have completed this challenge if it wasn’t for the change to completing the first optional. Once that changed, I gave up. But why set the first weekly challenge as something so ridiculously hard? That just means that I probably won’t chase the rest of the weekly challenges. Which means I have less interest in the game. Which means I am ever closer to uninstalling the game for good.
As a longtime player I have achieved every weekly challenge so far. Some were very tough. This one is impossible without using clams. Shame.

Definitely agree! I spent 90 clams then wondered why I didn’t get my prize, checked back an they had changed it to the “first optional” of this is only being released to people who spend clams you think they would do the opposite of what they’re doing! They might as well put a big banner up saying “we know you spend clams, so we are going to squeeze every cent out of you! I love this game and I spend money, the way they’re treating us is disgusting. I’m ready to uninstall.

I can’t even think about starting this one. I can’t pay the gurl scouts to drop the tubas I need for Cleveland, Jr. I’ve had a smooth four-hour rotation of Bonnie task and two buildings for masks (using Diabeto for rep instead of one day for one mask) for the last couple days and have a total of four tubas. I got three out of seven attempts yesterday, none so far today. I have everything else done for this round except for Cleveland’s Don King outfit.

For some (insane moment) reason, I thought this would be doable. I was at the start of add’l raid #1 and was able to get past the first hurdle pretty quickly. But now, with 5 hrs to go and only getting 2 frackin bags of money out of 10 tries, I give up. And I will not waste any more luchadors on this when I desperately need those stupid tubas from the gurls which never drop anyway. This is so whack.

Worst challenge ever!! I managed to all but beat the Casio after getting the 3rd star… As they have seen people are spending loads to be on top leader board and again trying to milk more money out of us, it’s quite shameful really I play this game a lot and I know that if I can’t do it many others won’t! Very bad move I guess… But glad it’s on first challenge and not the last one because I just won’t bother with challenges right now… I’m sure they have got many mails today complaining about this… Maybe if it was 3 days or give us info so we would not click it before we was ready … Worst event so far 😦

I’ve been busting my butt to complete this challenge on time. I have 3 1/2 hours remaining on the timer and still need to take down 4 more purple trucks. I have the goons “hiring” now and they will be finished on time but the problem is I only have 1 purple truck in my town. So for all my hard work, I could lose due to 3 trucks not spawning on time. Now i’m very worried 😦

Yeah i am seriously upset. I was working on level 3 of the casino when it popped. i spent clams to push along some of the tasks, then when i had it within normal time range i let my luchadors build to finish it with a few hours left. , I log in to finish and they changed the task to needing the “additional” round done instead. Hurts to sit now from the *** pounding they just gave me…

Yeah, I dropped a nasty gram to Tiny co on this blatant clam grab! I just finished casino level 2. So not feasible to complete without clams. Problem i have is why boost the top guys who aleady are ahead in leader boards? Just leaves rest of us in dust, instead of mob reb reward this task with decorations or other stuff.

I knew it would be trouble to finish, but the change to the “optional” run made it impossible (along with requiring me to get 2 luchadores per gurl scout, which is slow because I can only get masks currently from Bonnie). Thanks, but no thanks, TinyCo.

Looks like I’m one of the lucky few on this go around. I completed this challenge with a little under 6 hours to go. I did not spend any clams to get it done but the quest came up at just the right time for me. I only had an hour left to wait to finish #3 of 5 obstacles for the first optional run through the casino. I already had 7 luchadors and 2 goons hired (most were walking around), and then had 3 more masks ready shortly after. I had already decided that a 24 hour task for 1 mask was BS when the buildings and Bonnie only take 4 hours for a mask, so instead have been just sending Diabeto on 2 hour tasks to maximize the fedora drops. I was able to send him on the 12 hour task for this almost right away. The rest was just maximizing the queue and setting a couple alarms.
As I am a freemium player it sounds like I may not have been intended to do this challenge, which might explain why I don’t have the button to see the challenge board… but I’ll take it. I would be real surprised if I am so lucky on the next one.

Wow, this is essentially impossible without spending a ton on clams. This has to be the most shameless money-grad to date. With the horrendous drops rates for things like the Bags of Money, there is no way to accomplish this without great expense.

I used 44 clams to speed up the Hire Goons Luchadors and sent them to the obstacle course only to have the game crash and lose clams, luchadors and the masks needed to create the luchadors. Notified TinyCo but haven’t heard back from them.

I usually enjoy the weekly challenges but this is a major faux-pas from TinyCo, they’ve not only annoyed the freemium players by poor wording on the casino run, it did not say “optional” when challenge first triggered in my game but they’ve also infuriated a lot of premium players as well who feel they are being asked to use clams not for premium content but just to get through this weeks challenge to stay in the game for next week, and of course not knowing what they are ultimately playing for as the grand prize is a secret. TinyCo should pull this now and concentrate on the glitches such as players still locked out, no tubas from Girl Scouts, continual crashes. I defend TinyCo when I feel they are being unfairly criticised but on this event I just can’t do that. They are sadly not learning from their mistakes and despite a shed load of feedback available here they continue to blunder and alienate players. It’s a shame as the game is ace, they keep us busy with constant content, but maybe they need to take a step back and look closely at what’s working and what isn’t. I’d be quite happy to have a few weeks of down time if it made the game better in the long run.
