Hey There Toady Lickin Roadies!
There is just so much going on in Our Quahogs now! Spotted Toads, Dudes running around licking the Spotted Toads and freaking out. Girls dressed as Hippies being chased by Bees (both Red and Dark haired). Tons of Fans, some too busy on their phones too care. Patchouli Oil, Hacky Sacks, Bears, Park Rangers, picnic baskets, DJ’s, a Sweepstakes Winner… and in there somewhere… some AWESOME Music. PeterPalooza Phase 4 is in our games!
With all these new additions to PeterPalooza in our game, New Characters/ Costumes show up. There will even be Premium Characters you can decide if you want to add to your Quahogs. Premium Characters like Deadmau5 (Pronounced Dead Mouse). 
Let’s take a look at what Deadmau5 can do in our silly lil games. Fo Shizzle!
Deadmau5 was a New Premium Character added during the Phase Four of PeterPalooza 2015. As with all Premiums, it is your choice to determine whether or not it is something you want to add to your game.
Deadmau5’s Cost was 350 Clams.
If you chose to spend the Clams to pull him in your game, he first appeared on your Quahog streets with the Unlock Icon over his head. Tapping on the Icon brought him into the game.
He does come with a Questline, Long Live Deadmau5, more on it HERE. 
Deadmau5 does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Glowsticks & XP. He will also help you get some LPs.

I brought him straight away as I think he looks cool, but I’ve never heard of him, I asked one of my friends and he’s a big fan of his music and recommended I check some of it out. I love both of his animated tasks, they look awesome!

I wish I could buy him. I just don’t have enough clams and I a strict freemium player. In any case, out of curiosity, does anyone know if deadmau5 ever actually appear on the show?

Looks like Deadmou5 album isn’t offered in Australia. Avril, Snoop and Alice icons appear in the Code Redemption window in game and can be downloaded, but Deadmou5 one is absent. Bummer.

You can always Contact Google Play in your region and see if there is any other way they may allow it.

I got him to help, I was quite disappointed afterwards as in the FAQ it says that it is only for people in the USA and Canada. I complained saying that they should have made that more obvious, especially given how expensive he is. One of his sother quotes that I like, is “You’re saying my name wrong, it’s pronounced Deadmau 5”. I hope they can either give his album away or do something to make up for people who wanted it but weren’t given it. I think they should have noted that is wasn’t available like the others.

It is all to do with Google restrictions for certain Artists, not TinyCo as it is being offered exclusively by Google Play. My Suggestions is reach out to your Google Play Market and see if there is anything they can do. 😉

Sorry, didn’t see any of this. I went to Google Play but they only seem to have a phone option for contacting them. I just want to ask them a couple of questions, I’m sure I know the answer, but I want to ask them why they locked it beyond the other regions. I don’t want to have to ring them as I’m sure nothing would come of it, other than costing me money. When I called EA about Tapped Out they ended up spending a while, sounding as though they could help me, only to then find at the end that they couldn’t until I could get back into my game, which they did little to fix.

Checked the number, it should be free, still, I wish they would use live chat or support tickets as I don’t think they will do anything other than answer a question or two that I’m sure I know the answer to. I wasn’t too disappointed at first, but I am more now, he cost a lot(I’m glad he has more use, Ricardo needs LPs) and it should have been made ore obvious that the album was very limited. I am normally very thorough when checking things before buying, I didn’t check the FAQ as I assumed it would be the same as previous events. I suppose I’ll send TinyCo a quick message to see if they know anything, but I don’t think it really has anything to do with them. I guess at the weekend I can call Google Play’s support number. I also need to fix my Tapped Out account so I could do them at the same time, hopefully that won’t take too long now that I have access again.

Which FAQ says only US and Canada? The FAQ for the codes and the event says ‘The offer expires on 9/17/2015. Offer good in US, UK, CA, AU, NZ, BR, DE, IT, RU,FR only.’ I’ve responded to help line through their “Was this answer helpful?” . Contacting the Australia arm of Google Play would be like going down the rabbit hole face-first. That would be really ugly.

Ahh. Just found it under “Why cant I download Deadmau5?” which is down below the FAQ answer stating that it is available elsewhere. Why would you go looking for that before purchase? Thats kinda sucky. But hey, they got my money anyway, so kudos to them.

I know for me, I usually check out specifics on an item before I buy it. TV’s, Movies, games, etc. Too many times buyers remorse. 😉

Unfortunately… no one can control restrictions in the areas you live in outside those in control of those restrictions. I have seen areas banned from everything from Movies, Music, TV Shows, to even the internet depending on where they live.
The ONLY way to change the way your surroundings are is to enact those changes, and yes… they may take some work… but in the end is it worth it to you? 😉

tried android vpn and bluestacks with vpn. Doesnt help. Possibly because credit card is Australian issue.

Google “how to change google play store region/county”
I tried how they said worked like a charm. I am in usa but found aussy content I couldn’t dl prior.
So should work in reverse.

Well, I figured getting a free album out of it wasn’t a bad deal, as I am a fan… but it turns out it was an older album, and wasn’t even offered to us in the UK anyway. Money well spent.
