Does anyone have a #1 leaderboard person with over 100 videos? I swear there must be some cheating since the top ten are between 45-30… It just seems odd to me. But also THANK YOU for this amazing page! When I feel completely crazy and lost in the game I know I can come here and get some great advice. Thanks again!

I’m #1 and I have 109 so far. No cheating bought all the characters and have been doing the viral tasks and concerts for viral tasks. Thanks to this sites walk throughs, I knew I how far to get before the tasks were meaningless payouts so I’ve been concentrating on viral tasks only

#1 on mine with 104 at the moment. It’s all just tasks, sideshows and robots.

I have 60 virals with 10 hours to go, I’ll probably pick up a few more, and I’m not really trying hard. I play basically freemium since I don’t buy clams and don’t speed up tasks with clams, using earned clams on characters I want who usually don’t help all that much for the event. The folks with 100 or more probably got to the robot bug squashing point sooner than I did, when the bugs were dropping six virals frequently. The drop rate quickly slowed down a lot and they started mainly dropping grease instead. They also might be putting people seriously on task for the virals. I mainly just let Snoop Dogg work for it since he’s otherwise useless, occasionally others, since the ones who can get virals also can get other things I want. Anyway, 100 or a bit more is definitely not a sign of cheating. Just a combination of luck and dedication.

I doubt he/she was spending clams to finish tasks quicker (sigh)

Is it okay, to say thank you here as well? I really loved the event and it wasn’t easy, but makeable to get all characters and so on. Thinking about the events from star trek on, this time it was fun again. I even could get Ricardo, although it didn’t seem possible in the beginning. And I bought Weird Al. Simply because. ALLLLL!!!!! So great! And the very best of all: This time, for the first time in Family Guy history (at least as I know), older characters had tasks. Something fans always asked for! This made me incredibly happy. So you don’t have the feeling that you get one and and from this moment on can forget about it already. It is really great. Kudos ro you Tiny Co. for this event and for it not being too hard or too easy. Thanks 😊

So like all others not even close with GUDG. Not even within reasonable reach. But added to that is concert tickets. So many items need them but only 3 characters can unlock them and one, Joe, is always tasked for something else. So it takes 4 hours to get two baskets. I can’t get 3 because joe is in every questline and has highest candy drop rate for side concert GUDG which is an 8 hour task. then the 2 baskets essentially take 2 hours to get one ranger which gets one ticket. So one ticket in six hours. But every building needs tickets it seems. Need 9 more to unlock the last one, hippie hut, so I can have Astley perform an encore to get more stuff and advance the main questline as well. But hey I have a billion honey pots.
So basically WTD. I miss comic con. The last great event done. Meanwhile obtained all items I wanted in TSTO. Granted their events aren’t as elaborate and need work too, but I don’t feel constant pressure or frustration. I enjoy myself though.

I came close as freemium. Would need at least until Friday, probably. Short about 3 or 4 greasy underwear and 8 candies, just bought Weird Al (earned clams stash now down to 3) and he could have helped with candy a little if I didn’t put him on Mecha duty. Or if I had just done more rap shows, that would have done it too (just got 4 even though chance was listed as zero). I find greasy guy rather disgusting so I’m not disappointed, although am intrigued by the task having Mort chase him around to keep him from touching all the candy. Mort needs more relatively dignified tasks suitable for a business owner. The fact that the greasy guy task is relatively dignified just shows how humiliating too many of his tasks are, which is another WTD.

Auuuggggghhhh!!! I accidently taped that stupid taco truck instead of Weird Al and spent 2600 of my glowsticks on that stupid thing. Grrrr. I was saving up for Ricardo and it would have been doable if that stupid truck didn’t get in the way!!!!
Upside, I was successful in getting Weird Al. Then I spent 5 minutes just tapping him to hear all his sayings. While giggling like a school girl. He’s worth my clams. 🙂

I have just played an event in another it was great fun and as long as I put the time in I got all the non premium stuff. This game however has changed I miss the good old days when as long as you played you won all freemium prizes. I am considering spending clams from watching adds on gudg and would like a 2nd opinion should I do this? I felt phases 5&6 have been too complicated I wasted a ton of time getting stuff for Ricardo who I’m never going to get. I’m seriously considering whether I will stick with this game hopefully the upcoming futurama app will be cool.

The Simpsons:Tapped Out is a nice game, but it really is a lot simpler than Family Guy:The Quest for Stuff both visually and complexity-wise. TSTO is just an easier game, that’s all. You put in the time on an event, you get all the prizes by doing relatively simply tasks that so far (I’ve only been playing a few months) are pretty much organized for you. The store is crammed full of neat characters and buildings only obtainable with donuts (their equivalent of clams), so they’re just as interested in prying money out of you to buy premium currency as family Guy:TQFS.
But TQFS is a much more complicated game with a lot more going on in an event, and the player has to do a lot more individual work deciding what to do and how best to do it. I like both games and play both, but TQFS is definitely more challenging and much busier with events following so closely and the more complicated structure of events. You just have to decide what stuff is the most important to you in a TQFS event and focus on that, accepting the fact that you can’t get everything especially in freemium play. I ignore the last questline in an event since I don’t need to complete it to advance, and also ignore side questlines and just focus on the main one in earlier stages. I focus on tasks that will get me anything I really want and just collect for other things if that doesn’t interfere with my goals. And I have to keep remembering that I can’t have everything I want, that I have to make choices. And that I can work hard and still fail to meet a goal. Just like in real life….

If you really want the greasy guy forever to have and to hold (or try to have and to hold, he’s slippery), go for it! That’s how I spend my clam TV clams, on characters I really really want forever in my game and very occasionally a building I feel the same about (just Chip Griffin’s adorable little house so far). I got Snoop Dogg and finally Weird Al in this event thanks to clam TV, although I also needed to diligently work on both 5-clam bonus questlines to make it in time for Weird Al.
I also worked for Ricardo because I wanted him hula hooping in my game. So I ignored the last main questline and just focused on getting his stuff. Diligently attacking the Mecha with Peter and Rick did it for me – got to 5x level and stayed there, collecting an extra 2000 glowsticks every day from it. If I had been able to afford Weird Al sooner, it would have happened sooner because he significantly shortens the takedown time.

I felt a need to rant about the fact that I’ve racked up a couple hundred Honeypots only to find that they are absolutely meaningless. Meanwhile, like many others, I’m at a constant loss for Wrenches.
I think mathematically, I might be able to collect the Underwear and the Candy to unlock GUDG. But unless something changes, I won’t be able to obtain enough Grease.
So, I too, would be in favor of some sort of HoneyPots -> Wrench conversion. Heck, even make it 10 HoneyPots -> 1 Wrench and I’d be happy.

I really did not want to follow everyone else on here and talk about home much money Tiny Co. Appears to be trying to grab but then I went to buy clams…. when clicking on the option to buy the price is listed yet when clicking to redeem the amout the price it goes on to charge the credit card is higher. I am sure that can not be legal let alone ethical?? I wonder if you guys can give any insight into if the management structure of the company has changed. It appeared a year ago when we started on this quest they were very keen to chat you both you girls and invite people for get together’s and give prizes yet all that seems to have died off of late.
The final straw for me spending clams was the mobster event! I was quite excited to watch the timer count down with me at 7000 and despite me spending a bit too much cash I was still happy to get the top prize. A strange thing then happened that after the timer running down I physically watched as it reset by 5 min, then when that ran out another 10 and so on for about half an hour…. It was getting late and had work in the morning so switched it off and went to bed…. A few weeks later when the prize came my top prize was not there…. I contacted Tiny Co and explained the situation. There response was I finished at 12,000 despite me showing the timer finished with me at 7000… I explained to them i did hit the top prize and pointed out it would be extremely unethical if they actually extended the timer without making people aware and to please respond or send me my prize. I heard nothing back so now will not spend any more money with then especially as they have now sneakily put the price up in the UK at the point it comes to take money from your credit card. I have spent a lot of money on this game and now I am growing resentful of their attitude to their paying game players. This is not the same nice, little, funny, sweet company it was when we started this game!

I would like to know this as well. A year ago we had the Comic Con event which was really fun with all prizes very attainable. Since the beginning of this year starting with the Star Trek event, the entire game is being geared towards frustrating players to the nth degree and driving them away from the game. There had to have been a change in philosophy along the way and its not for the better.

Lots can happen in the last few minutes of the event, so you could easily have lost that much rank before the leaderboard even refreshed. Last minute server overload might have slowed down refreshing also. Someone who had been saving up cookies could have gone on a fedora-dropping spending spree at the last minute – the decos were dropping a lot of them. I did that on the last day, although I did it throughout the day as cookies were collected (lots from Corleone takedown at 5x and the fort but also lots from short tasks since one cookie could be turned into a fedora by buying decos). I was worried about waiting until the last minute in case there were problems connecting or buying due to server overload. I was buying decos up to the last few minutes, my last windfall from Corleone appeared that late.

Just sent this message to TinyCo…thanks to everyone on the addicts board while I played this game…see you in Springfield…
“I’m sure you been hearing a lot of this but I need to let you know what a disappointment this game has become. The viral rewards from the gold robots have been almost non existent as of late and it’s almost impossible to collect the wrenches to try anyway. The greased up deaf guy goals are ridiculous and the timed challenge you released today involving him is ludicrous.
It’s obvious that TinyCo is just trying to get us to spend more money on these events and that is your business but I believe you’ve taken it too far. You can see from my history that I have spent quite a bit of money in the 5 months I’ve been playing but with where you’ve set you’re drop rates on this last event I think I’m going to have to call it quits.
You may want to go read the addicts board as there are many of your customers saying exactly the same thing. It’s been fun but I’m off to Springfield where they respect their customer base.”

What the deuce!!!!
1) Why don’t we have a cancel character task option yet?!?! I hate accidentally setting someone to the wrong task and then once it is done you either lose clams or are locked into it for the length of the quest.
2) I will get Ricardo. I am at 8,800 or so glow sticks , but damn they are hard to get and I will be cutting closer then I want to. I really wish there was enough time to get all the characters AND complete all of the quests.
3) GUDG is so difficult. I am trying to at least get his finish purchase as low as possible. my goal is preferably below 100 clams or so. He is currently at about 190. I also have the premium GUDG building to help with the drops. Even with that, it’s been slow going.
4) I’ve noticed some people that are talking about viral hits being hard. I’ve got 43 and I am in the number one slot for my leaderboard. That is without actually trying too. I just set my characters to get VH at night before bed since the mech is usually on CD during that time anyways. Plus I’ve gotten a few drops from golden scorpions.
5) Speaking of scorpions… I accidentally used up three of my wrench guys on a damn silver one. Can they just go away? They are so expensive and basically just a waste of an already finite resources.

I thought this was more of a point of concern than a WTD, but I came here since it didn’t seem to fit with any of the recent threads and I see lots of others with the same issues: coins dropping when the gold robots are cleared. And I double-checked – it’s not just a visual error, I’m receiving coins instead of grease or the leaderboard currency. To make matters worse, I have one of the two buildings that drop wrenches (can’t get enough gold tickets for the second) and two characters running tasks for wrenches, yet I haven’t had a single wrench drop in about 18 hours (3 6-hour cycles). I check in pretty much every hour, but it’s going to be a nail-biter whether I unlock everything needed for GUDG by Thursday at 3pm PST.
Ironically, I have enough stuff to unlock Ricardo, but I’m holding off in case there’s a last minute mystery box that has something I’d prefer to spend my glowsticks on – I already have all the hearing aids that he helps earn.

As I know I am not going to unlock GUDG/Ricardo as it is too complex to get items for them , I have given up on this event and just waiting to finish this event.
Another point, enough with the events ! Seriously. The main storyline is show got cancelled because Ernie and Peter got into fight destroying town and we need to rebuild Quohog. However for the past few months, I have not seen anything in the game which indicates that the game storyline is progressing. It’s just events after events. So game currency coins is useless and event currency is also useless after event. Same with event buildings and event characters. Useless after the event. WTD tinyCo ? Please focus on main story and drive this awesome game towards it.

I still need 22 grease tubs and of course viral hits and what do the gold robots give me for the second time today? A coin!..WTD? That never happened before and now, where the time is slowly running out…coins? It is not even stated as a reward. I get that you receive coins when you have collected all the items like the bears did, but before that? And wrenches are such a pain to get! So far I enjoyed the event, it was a bit challenging sometimes (freemium), but this really frustrates me:-(

OK, I’m really annoyed now. I have a million gold robots and have been working furiously to get wrenches. I was only getting grease tubs when I attacked the gold robots which was fine since I needed them. I got my 70 tubs and now when you stomp a robot it says the award is the viral hits. That’s it. Well I just stomped 3 of them and all I got was 10 coins for each! WTD???? I was in the # 1 spot on the leaderboard with 49….the 2nd person had 32 but has since caught up due to the fact that the game stopped giving me viral hits and is at 48. I wrote to TC but who knows. What’s the point of spending clams to speed up tasks to get wrenches if I’m not going to get viral hits when I stomp the robots?

I tried in the beginning, but I have now practically given up. I honestly have no way of fulfilling the various, complicated threads that strike up throughout the game. I’m sorry to say that this one is the first one that I have no compunction to fulfill. It’s not a game anymore. It’s not a game anymore. It’s not a game anymore. Games have a central objective. This does not. I play another game that we all know. The objective is clear and you work toward the objective. I have no idea what is happening in this “game.” I gave up two days ago and my life got easier. Tinyco should worry whether their loyal players who have given up on this event will return to this game at all after all of this is over.

This event seems to be missing something. During the first comic con event a year ago they had an item conversion for extra stuff. We really need it for this event to use the worthless honey pots and once you get all the merch tent stuff the records are pointless too. Its seems stupid to have the phase 6 encore concerts drop vynil records when everybody really needs wrenches and a lot of people need tickets. Either update it with more appeasing items or leave it and make a converter. I would love to throw my 99(maximum) honey pots into 10 wrenches.

The game logic for this even is too complicated. e.g.
Say I need GUDG -> I need hearing aid – > Need to perform pop show -> Need microphones for pop show – > Need to defeat Mecha Astley – > Need Rick Astely (and Peter) -> Need Run around track (as one of the items to unlock him) – > Need concert tickets for the track – > Need to clear bear to get tickets – > Need 2 Park Rangers to clear Bear -> Need picnic basket to create park ranger -> Need Joe (and Mort/Bruce) for Basket but hey, I need Joe for the quest lines too.. WTD TinyCO ??? Why so much complications???? Game playing should be fun

Gold robots not worth anything but a couple of coins running ramped , please send wrenches to Quohog to disassemble , they have started eating all of the questless characters I have spent countless amounts of clams on ,also pointless silver robots who cost 3x the wrenches to destroy ( I don’t get THAT @all) , are helping by eating the worthless gold honeybears that are still roaming the streets, who are also only dropping coins now. Haven’t heard from the survivors of the Glowstick factory incident in weeks now !! We’re all afraid they have stopped producing them permanently since Tiny Co. Want proof that TinyCo reads these blogs and FB posts? GUDG has been dangling in front of all of us as a potential character being dropped in our game for months. People post about when will he be in our games and how excited they will be to have him. What happens? He gets dropped in the last two weeks of an event after some very challenging tasks and with more pretty challenging tasks to unlock him.
Four chairs are put out at the start of the event and the last one is labeled for Weird Al. Lots of posts from players about how excited they will be to get him. What happens? The first three chairs are exactly who they say they are but the fourth chair never gets used and Weird Al is released in the last week of the event as a clam-only purchase.
Does anyone think those two things are a coincidence? Characters appearing in the “characters” tab with a lock on them in the game have been made available in districts. Now all of the sudden GUDG isn’t. Poles/benches/chairs with labels on them have always been who they have said they were and never has one gone unused. Now all of the sudden Weird Al isn’t.
No, I don’t have any concrete proof but the game/events are fluid and if it walks like a duck …………

So I tapped and defeated that silly robot, that has nothing to do with the event. But as I was trying to spend the microphones I head just won, the game crashes. 0.o
But the time I’m able to log back in, not only are my microphones and reward missing, but the timer on that silly robot had reset… I had to spend 39 clams to start the clock over.

I have no idea what’s going on in this game. I have bears and bees and robots, so I need honey and wrenches and something else I’ve yet to identify. I’m collecting flags and underwear and a bunch of other stuff too. No clue what it’s for, or how to get it when so few characters are useful, even with this awesome site explaining it all.
Why was there a post here soliciting screenshots of well organized towns? Is anyone’s pretty? Mine is a mess of random event related stuff with one patch of road so I can see and possibly catch all the random stuff running around.
Who thought it would be wise to make a tertiary character like greased up deaf guy so flipping hard to get? Or that other one… Ricardo? I feel zero pressure to try or to pay. That seems like failed design.
With my luck, though, the characters from this event, which I officially give up on, will be the first that are relevant once an event is done.
Oh- what the deuce is the point of a main stage that’s pretty much unusable because a locked character blocks it? I came close to encores twice, twice I was thwarted by accidentally moving forward with the wrong quest. I’ve had all of four concerts, maybe three. Seems wasteful.

Does TinyCo actually have some poor intern playing this game freemium-only? Every single God-forsaken “boss” in an event, starting with the Yeti, has forced me to set rolling four-hour alarms day and night to keep on top of it. Don’t they know interrupting sleep is detrimental to one’s health? WTD.
I’ve noticed that the drop rates for items for GUDG have increased in the past couple days, but I’m still 615 clams from insta-unlocking him and this poorly-planned event will take him away in just three days. WTD.
Ricardo is the new Gangster School Girl Tricia. Despite all the extra buildings for this event, base event currency accumulation is way too slow to progress. I would never have bothered unlocking Belgard had I not won 2,500 glowsticks from the last leaderboards. WTD.
Concert tickets are worse. Almost all the merch requires them, the only way I’ve found to earn them is by stomping bears, and at least one of the characters who can earn picnic baskets for park wardens is off earning wrenches for mechanics instead. An exchange rate of two guitar picks for one concert ticket might solve my problem, but they did nothing like that for the Fatfather event so I’m not holding out hope. WTD.
The worst part of all of this is I can’t just walk away from this game after investing time in it since day one. WTD, me.

Could they possibly cram in anymore stuff before the event ends, and actually expect anyone to complete/gather/collect it !!??? With ridiculous high amount of items needed to earn the characters it’s completely insaine . . . Not to mention the stupidly small amounts of glow sticks you get for completing a task – 1 glow stick for an hour!!!???? Seriously . . . 3 glow sticks for 8 hours per character!!! And as M A N Y have previously mentioned – only four five characters/skins are actually being used !!! I have over 68 characters and countless skins . . . And a hand full are used!! Most that have no conection to the event apart from some vague reference. . . There are a butt load that could be used!!! Just annoying and frustrating and of course they’re not going to extend the event or help people out !!!!!??? Coz that would be helpful! Don’t even get me started on the crazy amount of clam related items there are this event, it’s nearly out weighing the freemium or NORMAL content! Rahhh I am done now . . . I sit and pant and eat chocolate cake in annoyance.

I agree completely! i actually sent a msg like this into their support and they sent me a reply 3 days later that openly stated in the begining that it was a bulk letter! About the **** leaderboard prizes! Ive given up…they’ve lost my respect in reguards to their events…the mob one was the exact same way. They openly admitted theres was a glitch w/ Cleveland jrs tubas, but did they grant us anymore time to make up for it puttin us behind? Nope, jus a hardy f-u buddy, thanks for playing…

I know right. It will take a month just to complete all the questlines that will remain after event ends. I have 12 items in my task bar. Crazy!

I’m not even going to attempt the mecha Ashley for the fifth time. It’s completely unrealistic with Rick and Peter. I spent clams to get through it the fourth time and refuse to do it again. I also think greased up deaf guy is too hard to get. Looking forward to this being over.

I didn’t have trouble getting to 5x level and staying there with just Peter and Rick. You do have to be diligent resetting the task every four hours, since it takes 20 hours to take down the Mecha with the two guys on the job (with a 24 hour max limit) and then 4 hours cooldown. But that gives you not only the prizes listed in the Mecha window but also a bonus 2000 glowsticks every 24 hours. That’s enough to keep you swimming in microphones and glowsticks.

I came very close to getting the greasy guy, would have needed just another day probably. And I started every phase several days late and never speeded up tasks with clams and didn’t get Weird Al soon enough with earned clams to help with candy collecting. I wasn’t trying very hard for greasy guy, either. So it’s definitely possible to get him with freemium play.

I’m a character whore. I play mostly freemium, with occasional small amount clam buys. All I have ever wanted is greased up dead guy. That’s all I got for now.

I love Family Guy but Quest for Stuff is really trying may patience. I’m so far behind because of the drop rates for Alice Coopers boots. There is no way I’m going to unlock any of the new characters. There is simply too much to collect and as per usual its only the half dozen or so usual suspects that can get items as well as go on missions to advance the story or collect items for the leaderboard or collect items to get workers. They need to simplify these events a bit more. They are getting over complicated and it is becoming such a chore to try and complete them that it is no longer fun.

WTD! why don’t my friends understand my addiction to this game?!?!? During lunch i like to tell them about whats going on in my game…am i the only one that does this? When I mention my progress to them or who I just bought they look at me all like 0_o sometimes I feel guilty with how much money I spend on clams…but then I come here to feel better about myself…. I like to know that I’m not the only one 😢 Also, I’m in need of so many items for GUDG. I am going to be very upset if I don’t get him. Might have to quit after this event if I dont. I will not be able to continue with this game knowing I missed out on a character ..that’s supposedly free…Eh, maybe not…I’m really hoping for a Harry Potter event 😇 this is my first WTD, hope I did it right 😅

Have Tinyco just given up on this event?
The only gameplay is picking what task to overwork Joe with next and deciding whether you want to schedule a day of your life around attacking the mecha (which in no way should be encouraged).
The balance is completely off, it’s like they’ve handed over the keys and are just hoping you’ll spend clams to fix the problems.

WTD is with TC Quality Control and scale?
Take a look at the Grilled Cheese Food Truck compared to any other – not similar. My favourite remains the Christmas train station though …
While we are on the topic of QC, it drives me crazy when wording on one rotation of a building is backwards – particularly on Clam buildings.

Side note… as I asked… the size of Truck is as intended.

Just like the drop rates, right? 🙂

I am actually hoping they do start to scale down the size of a LOT of items in the game. Make it easier on devices as well as the lack of space to put things. There are actually several “mini” items in the game now. Buildings and other vehicle type items. 😉

My “What the Deuce?!” comment this week is about how badly I got screwed over by Alice Cooper and the 2 weeks it took for me to get enough leopard print boots. Now I have zero chance of getting the final characters in the remaining few days. And I’m pissed because I played soooooo hard to get this stuff and I feel ripped off. No Ricardo. No Greased Up Deaf Guy. And No Rick Astley (not that I care about that one at all).
If I can’t get Greased Up Deaf Guy by Thursday, I’m probably leaving this game for good.
That means I’ll miss reading the wonderfully helpful guides you ladies have produced here on this site for everyone’s benefit, for which I’m truly grateful 🙂

Tickets. Grrr. I need two more for Rick Astley. I’m running on the edge of being able to defeat Mecha Astley at 4x and will need clams to do it. I can’t wait to be able to concentrate on GUDG instead of trying to balance wrenches, baskets, and all of his items. I bought Weird Al and the grease factory and play every freaking hour and still feel like it’s going to be impossible. I know it’s not supposed to be easy and it’s a marathon, not a sprint, but this event seems extra grind-y and I don’t like it.

I am going to get Ricardo for sure but gudg is a 50/50 at the moment I have half of everything needed for him so we will see. Like someone said I was way ahead then out of no where I was a week behind all because of Rick Ashley coat drop rate. I didn’t get him until the next phase came out and I was on like mad for this event.

I give up on Ricardo or on finishing the questlines that require things that cost tickets to build. No way I’m going to get 10,000 glowsticks, or 30 more tickets before the end of the event. So because of this I spent 2000 glowsticks and 10 tickets to get the building that drops wrenches because maybe, MAYBE I can unlock greased-up-deaf-guy before the end of the event if I get enough tubs of grease…

If you are investing in wrenches, please consider doing Mecha as well. The gold bots it drops are only 1 mechanic instead of the three needed for the silver. And there is a chance to get the music needed to get high up the leaderboard for Stewie skin (though don’t make it a goal). Also the Mikes it drops let you get candy (I think event Joe is best chance here) and hearing aids in the side stage (can’t remember best combo here, however. Might be total random and I got lucky and attributed to my combo).

My game has finally stopped crashing every two minutes, but not before it could screw me during the whole event by crashing in the middle of concerts and when I restart it gave me the star score from when it crashed so like 50 instead of what I could have gotten. When it crashed not during concerts I had to redo all of my actions. The game has crashed when I try to finish off Mecha-Astley so it just let my timer run out and only let me in and not crashed when he was resting. I also play constantly and do the actions that get me the most bracelets per hour spent but I still am incredibly low on bracelets, even my friends who play are like wtf at my amount and they don’t play as frequently/with the strategy to get the most bracelets.
This is the third major event in a row that I’ve had crashing issues that have set me behind despite playing all day and it’s just incredibly frustrating.

I know what you mean this keeps happening to me too. I spend all week playing to unlock this weeks concert and the 2 minuets where I don’t need it to crash, it bloody crashed!!!

WTD! I am seriously annoyed with the timing once Alice Cooper hit the game. And all that was stated is “dropping as intended” – sounds like a cop out to me. Doubt I’ll unlock GUDG – tired of not completing events. I’m always on time at first , then out of nowhere I’m behind by 1 or 2 weeks… and I’m on every hour unless I’m asleep! Love the game, but I wish there was a way to opt out of an event. OR if they could make them challenging, but with reasonable drop rates.

I couldn’t agree more. I’m a freemium player, and each new event is worse than the last for us. The shop is a sea of items for purchase with clams, and you just can’t finish most of the quests without them. I thought I was doing great for the first week, and as soon as Alice Cooper came out that was the end of real progress. This is probably the end of my time playing this game. It’s tedious and just not fun anymore. I have about 60 characters and Skins, not to mention countless buildings and decorations. For what? They are almost never used again after the initial event I got them from.

WTD?! Now I’m only getting grease tubs from the gold robots and not the viral hits. TC gives with one hand and takes with the other! And what’s with having characters who have tasks for viral hits also having tasks for greasy underware which is a rare item. There’s no way you can get both Bad Trip Stewie and Greased Up Deaf Guy. Even as a premium player it’ll cost a fortune.

It can be done with a nice bit of luck…..
I’ve gone freemium since the mobster event and I am half way to getting GUDG and I’m sitting pretty at the top of my leaderboard with 30 virals, with the 2nd position on 12
But I was lucky with having x6 virals drop about 4 times from gold robots, so I’ve give up on sending characters on 12hr tasks for virals and concentrate on GUDG’s items
I bought all the item dropping buildings, have Peter and Rick fighting the boss constantly and keep plugging away with items for GUDG. So I should end up with both Stewie and greased up deaf guy totally freemium

I’ll just say you got very lucky! My leader board has the top person at over 100 viral hits as of now, and I’m second with 34 viral hits and the next in line has 32. Have gotten just one viral hit award with gold robots, all the rest came from character actions and paying extra to speed up those 12 hour tasks! As for GUDG, I have a total of 3/20 needed rare underwear though I’m 2/3 of the way with the other items….

WTD- this event is not fun at all anymore. There are too many steps to get each little thing. Eg. Coats for Rick Astley. I need coats–> I need to do a concert to get a coat–> I need a microphone to do a concert–> I need to defeat Mecha Astley to get a microphone–> I need Peter to defeat Mecha Astley… And that is one of the simpler items to collect! My DH has given up already. It’s too confusing having too many different ways to collect things. I think we need a PhD to finish this event! WTD!!!!

Except for Alice’s boots, I found this event very fair up till the current phase. Too many things to do. Too many items to acquire. Really? 70 of one item??
Very nice that other characters were added to help, but when you have the standard characters needed to get 2 or 3 different items, it just gets harder.
Agree about the wrenches. What bothers me is to go thru all the steps to get the gold robot, and get a coin. I have enough of them. Not interested in the leaderboard. Don’t need viral hits. Would rather have the grease. With that said, I am currently number 1 on my leaderboard without trying. Ain’t that a kick in the butt?
I’m also short on tickets. Trouble getting the baskets too. But what am I going to do with 183 bee keepers?
Made the decision to not get Belgard. Didn’t like the mechanics involved. Let me work on the items needed while I gather the currency. Then I find that he’s needed to further side quests. Not nice, TinyCo.
Spooner stage needs fixing. Put performers on stage to get the candies. Says high probability. Start show and probability goes to almost zero.
Not too crazy about the new clam buy out option I see to unlock some buildings/decos/characters. Collecting items used to lower the clam buy out price. See Ricardo and other items in the kiosk.
Encores. I feel that once you’ve unlocked the encore stage, you shouldn’t have to continue to unlock it.
Thanks for providing the space to let us rant.
That is all (for now)!
