They instead have “Mini” Events pop up now and then, more like a sale… of the Previous Characters for purchase and occasionally to earn again.

Bunny, do you know if there are any plans to let us get something out of our leftover glowsticks? I remember in the Mafia event we could buy a Mystery Box for 1,000 cookies and that’s what I used my extra ones for at the end of that event. It’s sad to think that we have to keep doing tasks that earn glowsticks rather than coins and in two more days they will all just disappear. I mean, how many Grilled Cheese Food Trucks does one really need?

I am the boy who asked you about deleting the acount. You have solved my question, that basically it was ‘If I delete the game from my mobile, Will I lose all my progess or only the last month (or the last week, whatever)?’
Now I know for sure I can’t sell my phone withut any kind of information, and buy an iPhone and install Family Guy and my game will be exactly I left him.

You’re welcome. All your info is saved mainly on your Log In. That is where the files are linked on both games. So if you want to sell the old phone, just wipe it back to factory after you have ensured you saved all your games to their proper links. Many do this all the time. 😉
I myself swap between 4 devices all the time. Several games too. It is all just logging in n out

I realized on Friday or Saturday that getting Greased Up Deaf Guy was gonna be near impossible for me as a freemium player. So I hedged my bets and instead have been working on the leader board and getting the Video Award drops instead. I stopped caring about trying to get drops for GUDG and only went for Stewie cuz I love that Karaoke building as well. And somehow my plan has been working. I’m now #1 with 40 points, and the next 2 people have 27 and 23 respectively. I’m glad that I was able to figure a way to (likely) win something during this last final week. It took me until yesterday just to unlock Astley due to the # of tickets needed.

I am not from the US, so I don’t know if my game Works exactly the same yours, but I need to know one important question:
I have to delete this game and TSTO in order to change my mobile, and have accounts here and in EA, but I don’t know if this would be enough in order to save my progress.
Please, I need a response, ’cause can’t find any kind of reliable information in the net. I trust you, ;D

What exactly are you asking? You just want to access your game after getting a new device?
That is easy as long as your accounts are saved. Family Guy you can save and link to an Email or Facebook. EA has Origin. So with either, as long as the game is saved, it is just a matter of loading a new game… accessing the menu… logging in… and loading the saved game file you have.

I know how our terrific bloggers, and some of our readers, search through the Blah, Blah game thread, for some real life stuff…
So, to add to life, I am currently looking out for a 10 yr old boy. I am a good friend of the family, one of the seemingly few, responsible ones, and whose heart is crying for this kid. I have many ideas planned for my days off, like teaching him how to make some simple, nutritious, delicious lunches & dinners. But I have 2 questions for the community: What is the best movie to take him to this weekend. And secondly, what is a really good Halloween costume I can buy for a boy his age that he will LOVE!!! Any links on eBay? He was a ninja last year, and wants to be one again, but I think he is saying that because it doesn’t cost money and he already has the clothes 😦

If you have a local Costco, they usually have some fun ones for inexpensive. And… as odd as it sounds, try local thrift stores. Many times people will toss out very good Halloween Costumes or donate them and you can pick up pieces or parts for them for a steal. Many Comic Con outfits are pieced together with bargains at the local thrift shops. 🙂
Movies, not sure if Inside Out will be to his liking or the Minions Movie. If he is into a lot of “boy things” that one is tough. Boy’s that age are tough to gauge. Don’t want to frighten them too much. But some like a lot of action and adventure type shows.

TY Bunny. It’s not odd at all! I have put together some great costumes using some components from thrift stores. Just don’t know what I can put together on a whim, and not have to sew, that he will LOVE and NOT be embarrassed by. I cannot think of THE costume with my limitations with time and money. I want him to be the envy of neighborhood!

If he REALLY wants to be a Ninja, look for Karate clothes or a robe. I have found both at thrift shops. But really check a local Costco or even Sams Club if you have one. It is interesting the cool costumes you can see there too for under $20

Bunny in the local yokel town I currently live in, we don’t have big box discount stores like Sam’s or Costco. 😦 We have Walmart. Sad. That’s the biggest we get.

As a follow up. You are not going to believe this, or maybe you will, actually you Will, but gotta tell you this anyway Bun. I am mad. His legal guardian offered to give him 20 US dollars, instead of taking him to go trick or treating this year! I have to bite my tongue. I am mad. Holding it in. Grrr!!!! Biting my tongue. Hoping to turn the negative around. I am thinking that my “adopted” little brother is thinking hmmm, I will get 20 from bad parent and see if he allows me to go trick or treating with someone who really cares about me 😉

Wow,I finally check out family guy Facebook (not a facebook fan or any social media stuff that show other people about ur life)to see what’s going and man is it crazy in there. No wonder tinyco sometimes don’t give a crap as long as money are racking in. I mean if the game cause that much drama and headache and piss u off all the time then turn off the game. I think that’s all I see on there is people b***ing . This is like a rated G compare to that, it’s like rated NC17+. Now I understand y u girls have guideline. One look on Facebook and I don’t think I’ll watch it again.

And I bet u have to read all that garbage too huh? I feel for u girls. The crap people write cuz they know it’s not like real life when u say it to someone’s face (the comfort of internet). Sometimes I wish it was still the old days where u need to watch what u say or an adult will backhand slap u. Nowadays kids have no value. I’m so scared for my 3 kids. I’m not always around checking what they do online. I guess we had it good when we were young. I’m 36 and I just felt like I live during the best of times. Got to grow up when values was so important and now I’m able to see how great technology had come. Hopefully I’ll be able to live old enough to see or drive a flying car one day like. I mean every Sci-five movie have flying cars now like it’s a normal thing but nothing can compare to watching “back to the future 2” for the first time and seeing Michael going into the future. I was mesmerize when I was a kid seeing it. Atari 2600 was my friend for my young life, lol. My son laugh when I tell him that mario had a mustache because Nintendo thought it was too hard to make a mouth for him so they slap it on him(true story). Luigi was fat just like mario too, only different was the color green. Life was good, now it’s OK with the exception of my family gu….yeah just family.

Being a vollie firefighter sucks sometimes, but can be humorous.
Friday night we sat down for some dominoes with the neighbors and didn’t get through the first train and tones dropped for a wreck. They played my hand cause this ain’t the first time LOL It wasn’t too bad, a couple broken bones between both cars.
But whilst taking down information and logging the vehicles, one owner struck me as amusing and I couldn’t withhold a chuckle. My captain asked what was amusing and I had to find an excuse cause how could I explain the owners name was the exact same as one of the folks in my Quahog?? He don’t go in for that gaming stuff. As he puts it. No it wasn’t Quagmire, but still distinctive 🙂

This is not a gripe or a WTD,, this is simply a wish and suggestion.
Since Tinyco has made getting GUDG so insanely hard, and not just for freemium players but even for premium players who don’y want to pay around 12-15 dollars to get him,, Please please please Tinyco, do some “Glowstick mystery boxes on the last day of the event that in addition to having several kinds of decos in them, also have GUDG components so that players with a little luck can use glowsticks to get those mystery boxes and have a chance at getting the final components needed to unlock GUDG.
Players have been waiting (In some instances over a year) to have a chance to get him and when you finally give us a chance to get him you make him SOOOO hard to get that most people will miss out on him.
Give us a break and at least give us the chance to “Glowstick our way to unlocking him.
otherwise I will save up a weeks worth of farts and send them to your home office in a air tight envelope.

This still really isn’t the place as this is an open thread. TinyCo rarely looks at an “Open Discussion” thread. Something like that is more fore “Dear TinyCo”, “What the Deuce” as they are directed to those… or in game messaging. That’s why we not very specifically this is just for fun. It is essentially a “chat area” for the Players. Nothing more. Not even really game related most the time. 🙂

For anyone who is listening I have a little advice. I hear a lot about people not sure if they going to get the GUDG in time. We’ll I think the reasons is you probably juggle it between getting on top or near it and getting him at the same time, why? Because all the characters needed to get the tvs also are the same ones u need to get GUDG. I recommend u focus all ur attention to getting him first and then test ur self with the leaderboard. I always think that a character is a lot better then a character skin (most u don’t even use anymore). Hey, if u like stewie skin more then vice versa. trying to get both done at the same time won’t help u at all because if u r well ahead then u eventually will get both so it wouldn’t matter but if u r not and u try that u end up with maybe neither one. This is just an advice and if u think it suck then u are entitled to ur own opinion but for those that think it’s helpful then I’m glad it help.

I can’t for the life of me think what u thought I said that was venting at tinyco. I may of said it’s been a stressful event.. but I certainly wasn’t venting.

Disregard… it was another comment I was thinking of. Not yours. I am trying to locate yours now by a search. I wonder if the spam bot snagged it. Gimme a few minutes to see if I can locate it. Spam Bots are on high alert lately… sadly… they are allowing Spam through and pulling regular readers comments. It’s odd. I’ve rescued 6 out of there today.

Yah. WordPress can be very wonky at times. You learn to deal with it. Luckily I clean the Spam filter weekly so I don’t have too many to look through to ensure no regulars are getting pulled. Under 1000. If I wait longer than a week it is a LOT more. I think it is more keywords it seeks out and pulls. Then there are days I have no idea why it let Spam through and pulled not spam items. Lol
Overall it still does quite well. Only like 10 or 15 oops in Tens of Thousands is still pretty good. Less garbage for us to have to sift through in the long run. Trolls are a pain enough. 😉

I got a flu shot thurs at work and been sick with the flu since fri pm! Not getting flu shots next year!
Sitting on sofa and watching way too much football and watching the clock for the 4 hr mark to check into thus game! Uggh. What a waste of a weekend!

Man oh man what a stressful event…… after being constantly 4 days behind because of unlocking Alice, I think I might actually get greased up deaf guy!
By the start of this phase i built up enough tickets and guitar picks to get the buildings that helped with GUDG and wrenches (I only got 1 building that drops them vip things as I thought I would get the 30 always drops with just 1, so best save resources)
Then shortly after I unlocked Rick Astley and got to work on the boss battles so I could get the gold robots and microphones
So I’m over halfway on most things for him now except the candy which I have 0. But I’ve built up 24 microphones through boss battles so I’m constantly going to send riker and Brian on rap shows. so fingers crossed I’ll get the 4 lots needed…
I wouldn’t waste your precious resources on ricardo as he only helps with hearing aids and u can get 6 hearing aids a time from a pop concert (u need 12)
All in all if u work on getting Rick Astley unlocked asap to fight the boss with Peter and u build all the buildings that help with materials, it’s definitely possible to get GUDG without clams

This event needs an extension. I am happy about the fact that TinyCo allowed the players on Phase 5 access to all of the Phase 6 content, including GUDG. Thanks to this, I am halfway done with GUDG’s tubs of grease, done with his hearing aids, about to buy the Hostel, and have 5 Greasy Underwear and 6 Backstage Passes. However, I need more time to get everything, especially Ricardo.

i would like to suggest, though it would likely be a huge amount of work, is a list of buildings and decos in this silly game and whether they are used by characters for any tasks.
since there are so many buildings and decos in this game and so little land for them, we need to know which buildings to relegate to storage and which buildings ought to be kept ready for a character task.
the downside is that this would be a lot of work.

I just unlocked Belgard, and Rick Astley! I really want the Greased Up Deaf Guy so I’m going try my best to get him before the event ends.
In non- game news, I managed to get tickets to see Black Sabbath next year and I’m super excited!

Haha. I saw him this past weekend. He had the most epic entrance ever which I won’t spoil for you, but it was awesome! The Mandatory Tour is an amazing show with some new versions of some of his songs that are only done in the concert and not recorded anywhere. You will enjoy it… and you know. We all have cellphones… 😉
