Here’s mine for this week:
–WHAT THE DEUCE… No more “send Character on Task to maybe earn this… to use for that… to get this… to unlock that” TinyCo. PLEASE!! Enough already. I am getting used to the “earn Materials for Character/Costume at the different “Chance” ratios, but the “Quadruple Earn Combos” need to go. That or just fine tune them down to Characters ALWAYS drop, and the 2nd item you attack ALWAYS drops too. No mixing in a “Chance”.
–WHAT THE DEUCE… People not checking their blind spots or paying attention to traffic flow. COME ON! I am RIGHT THERE! It’s not like I am in a lil teeny car. I am a few inches short of being an SUV and sit quite high on the road. It’s not like you can miss me. But please, go ahead and just come right into my lane with no signal, no checking mirrors, but then honking at everyone you almost created a wreck for because WE should have looked out for YOU! GRRRRRR!!!

Family Guy Addicts 
Not really a complaint but not sure where else to post. I was wondering if anyone else has had their splash screen frozen on the comic con event. We’ve now had two updates and mine still shows the old one.

Try a complete uninstall and resinstall if your game is linked to an email or Facebook account. See if it changes. Otherwise, sometimes older devices don’t update certain things for odd reasons. But always make sure you have an up to date version from the App Market only. No outside sources.

Has anyone noticed that visiting Ollieville depletes your wallet of $1000+? each time i visit, whether to collect cash/clams or just to see how many hours til, i come back to my Quahog with less money in my wallet. I havent seen anyone else mention this, what gives?

Why has there been a massive clan price hike??? The 600 clam package went from £11.99 to £14.49 overnight and as I was showing a friend this I see that another hike took the price from £14.49 to a massive £15.85! That’s a 32% increase!!!
Clams are already way overpriced. Yes – I know TinyCo needs to make money but I can play games like World of Warcraft etc for only £9.99 for a whole month – and here were talking games that are full of content and continuously playable unlike FG which you play for a few minutes then wait.
It’s a false economy to charge soo much. If the price of Clams was less and the price of clam buyable items far far less I really do believe that many more people would buy both. In the long run I’m almost certain that TinyCo would make more money and have a far higher customer satisfaction rating. Why would I pay £10 for a premium character that I’ll never use again when the event’s over when I can play a real online game for that cost for a full month???
It doesn’t make sense at all!!
I have previously bought Clams and clam items but after this price hike I’ve decided to never spend another penny on this game. I won’t even hanker after the premium items any more.
It’s a disgraceful decision by TinyCo which shows contempt for its customers and also through pure greed they’ll lose more than they gain.

Before you go blaming and accusing a Company that has nothing what so ever to do with the app market prices you’re seeing, you may want to do a little research online. Just sayin 😉

It’s actually Google Play where the prices have rocketed – they used to be cheaper than iTunes, but are more expensive now. There’s no info online that I can find which explains Google’s sudden recent massive price hike.

It’s same as iOS. Overseas money against the US Dollars. US markets get taxed and have to have proper conversion rates. Same issue that control the world over. One money form transferred to another. If your country money loses worth it will cost more to transfer it to US Dollars.

Well Tinyco will no longer get anymore money from me. After I spent clams and got everything done for the In Memorium questline, as you know, they reset the quest. I contacted them on Friday about it and in a nutshell they said I was SOL. They wont be giving me back the clams I spent. Yes I do realize no one made me spend money. I even bypass my own “stop and think do you really want to spend money on this stupid game” safety measure. However, if a player spends the money and Tinyco resets a questline, they should give back those clams. Yes I know.. play at your own risk.
So beware players, they can take your money all day long, but if they screw something up in the game, if you spent money you are also equally screwed. I told TC that you all would be hearing about this.
I will continue to play because I started when the game first came out, but I’ve learned my lesson

Wait. You finished the In Memorium tasks with Clams before they reset it and they did NOT refund it? Do me a favor, send me a pic of your Player ID from your Menu, Account screen. They were supposed to take care of Players that did. Maybe the person answering did not understand the situation.

Also, send them another in game message about it and ask them to take a second look at it. It looks like it varies on the situation of “why” you spent them. If it was to beat the 24 hr clock that was timing down… they are helping out as the clock was reset/extended. If you just dropped Clams just to get it done the moment it arrived or reset, that is a bit different.

Since I can’t do anything in the second part of Septemberfest (I just unlocked Vinnie and managed to find room for the mayor’s mansion, which is building now, nowhere near District 10) – I certainly have been getting through a lot of questlines that have been waiting for completion for months! So although I would like to get some of the stuff in SFII, I guess it’s a good thing that I’m blocked.

Hey Bunny. I am confused. How exactly do I unlock District 10? According to your walkthroughs I need Jerome to start. I have him but I’m not sure how to trigger it all. I am currently in the Fine Arts District and am working on Ye Olde Blimp Triple Part 3 and The Future Was Now Part 4. I can’t find info on what I need to have finished to move on.

I think they’re just experimenting with how many at once, it still seems to add up to about 6 per day for me. For a while it was 5 and 1, but lately 2 or 3 at a time, just more frequent.

I wonder if only the diehard non-clam buyers will be getting it, though. Depends on how lucrative the clam TV ads are for TinyCo. I don’t think true whales will be interested, since it takes a long time to build up a stash of clams big enough to do anything with them. But it’s great for purely freemium players since it’s much faster than collecting a few clams per week from Ollieland.

Must be nice to get ANY videos! My game still doesn’t have them after months of watching my GF get them. I payed for clams at one point so seeing this everyday just disgusts me (she never did). I know the Dev’s responded to my asking why we all don’t get the videos yet……but my patience is wearing thinly on this topic. WTD!>!?!?!?!?

Me too. I’ve been doing this CONSTANTLY since the zombies started popping up again and all I ever get are 1 or 2 feet. No Mr. Weed. Today I was shocked to get 10 and then 20, but after that, back to 1 and 2 again.

I finally got him today, and on my first time trying the portal.. He is in there!! If after about 5 goes at it; stop and try again the next day. At least that was the method to my madness

I would love to see a scroll with beside the pop up box when picking characters. This would make it easier for finding a character name.i Instead of tapping or searching through the entire box to get to the character you or trying to find. Say for instance you want to look through the M’s you could just tap on the M and it would take you to those characters name. Then you could pick the character(s) you want to complete a task or action. Hope this will help to improve the game play.

WTD? I ALWAYS check other Quahogs immediately after Jesus finishes his 1 day task. The daily clam doesn’t happen most of the time and I have to wait anywhere from an hour to a day and that really messes with the routine where I use Jesus as a reminder to check other Quahogs.

I’ve been saying TinyCo should change the Character Assign Icon to resemble the Task List Menu for over a year. All they have to do is make it work horizontally.
Lee Parker, the secret to getting a good amount of daily Clam drops is to not go to other players’ Quahogs. Just stick to Ollie’s because they are 2 characters, who drop 90% of the time. I’m not going to say which 2, because I don’t want TinyCo to fix it the randomizer. If it isn’t those 2 then I choose either Quagmire or Jerome, who are good alternatives, for for that last chance pick.
To show how good my daily Clam drops have been after the Peterpalooza Event ended and I spent all my Clams to re-unlock Rupert, I’m currently at 12 Clams. I happened to get really lucky with Jesus dropping claims twice.

I have been trying to unlock Loretta since before Peterpalooza, and I cannot get the last stupid earring!!! I have sent Peter and Quagmire on God knows how many 12 hour tasks to get it and it will not drop!! I know it’s a “rare” item but it’s dropping like it’s an “epic”. Ughhhhhhh!!

I as well can’t stand the daisy-chain item quests. Especially when I have limited times to jump into my town and task (6-hour tasks for items when I’ve got a break in 4 hours then 8.5 hours. Doesn’t help with timed unlocks well).
Also make more use of themed and past premiums. I thought being able to use Riker on the Spooner stage was a great step. But where was Kiss for the rock show? Instead of a Rare item being either from A standard characters 8 hour task or a premium building drop, let a random past or rarely used character help out. I’ve got some in storage now cause they got in the way during Peterpalooza and I knew they’d be useless!
Btw Bunny, props to you for being a defensive driver! ☺️ You got to be these days. I’d bet more than half my calls are wrecks.

Traffic on I-5 northbound in south Seattle SUUUUUUUCKED this afternoon, and as a result my dad and I only had about 3 hours to look around the EMP museum (and my sister and mom didn’t even make it to the Berk Museum before it closed thanks to it). Although seeing a Ghostbusters proton pack and the Back to the Future 2 hoverboards made up for it somewhat…

Ok my WTD is with back to back to back to back events… REALLY I still have quest to do for evil stepwise and retep not to mention all the music event ones! I would love a week off of events so u can get rid of these tasks …and since peter is needed for everyone it’s gonna take me that whole week. Can we clone peter so I can find hall these tasks before Halloween starts.
My other WTD is about the last item is need for new Brian I have been sending doctor Hartman for the last 3 weeks to get it (even using your little trick to send them on another task before trying for the item again and i still haven’t gotten it! Plus i still need Loretta grrrr!!!
Something I am excited for though is the Halloween event it is usually my favorite event tiny co does! Love the ghostbusters las year I hope this year the do something out of the box.

Nothing to say on this week’s stuff since I’m not far enough to be able to even attempt it so I’ll go with something else. Been sending Dr. Hartman out for the 3 bloodshot eyes for Anime Peter since I opened the district. In that time I’ve completely unlocked Connie, Angela, Opie, Mid-Life Crisis Lois, and gotten every other thing needed for Anime Peter. Still waiting for the first of the 3 eyes to drop so I can unlock Anime Peter so I can unlock Tricia so I can unlock the next district.

It took many weeks for that last eyeball to drop for me. Tricia had to be extremely patient. The first one dropped from tweaked out Peter but his animation was so gross that instead I just kept sending the doctor out again and again… It’s a good idea to occasionally send the doc on a short alternate task, sometimes that helps reset the odds of a drop. Or at least it makes you feel as though you’re doing something. The Anime Peter animations are a lot of fun, so keep at it.

Yesterday I had Weird Al doing his build a throne out of Blammies task where the float ran him over just after he sat in it so it looked like the float running him over is what made the throne fall apart.

One individual has hijacked our ski club and pays his daughter large bucks to do the web site, and now is trying to pass all the other jobs to his college son, i told the pres that he was not a dictator and was not elected so we should just all walk away –but then charitiy event beneficiary gets screwed! Bah!

Here in the UK, I used to pay £11.79 for 600 clams. A bi-monthly treat for me that sometimes got increased if there was a character i REALLY wanted…
Now, its £14.49 for 600 clams. that’s about a 23% increase!

Something that angers me is that we need Pawtucket Pat for the 24 hour challenge. I could live without going through the questline, but I was hoping to get all of the decorations in this event. I already have all but 3, including Peter’s skin, and just need these dratted bottlecaps, which are more like rare than uncommon.

WTD – Halloween is coming and my expectations for a fun and interesting event are lower than the greek economy
I hate how things have been going with events, especially about techniques and senseless procedures; lame decorations that you have to get instead of saving currency for something you really want, terrible low pay outs for event currency- now including useless coins in the drop chances, 300+ clams for skins, characters in mystery boxes, poor drop rates and “extra rare” items holding back players over a week, 10K Event currency for a character, no land to place ,not all, but at least SOME of the stuff…and worst of all, everything going on at the same time with always the same 4 characters.
TinyCo is killing the game – if they need to increase sales.. this is not the way to catch customers, on the contrary. At least in my case, I decided not to spend a single dime on clams since the mobster event (which has been the worst thing in the history of mobile games).. I didn’t buy any for peterpalooza, and I refuse to do so for future events if there is no space to place buldings and if premium stuff is a NEED, instead of an option.

Wow… all of my gripes rolled up into a single post. Let me second several particularly irksome things that have had me heavily leaning toward quitting the game after I finish the current batch of collections (and I’m still stuck trying to get one more of those extra-rare scissors). So every time I see a desired or critical person/item/costume which includes one or more “extra rare” items, the anxiety sets in, because I can predict that this will be setting me back a week or so, and usually, I’m grinding and grinding away a good week into the next phase. Now, to make it worse, I can’t advance the questline along because inevitably one or more of the people who are gathering that extra rare item are also needed to move along the questline. That, or characters gathering at least a rare item which is also not dropping well.
At the moment, I need Mort to keep grinding for those extra-rare scissors, meanwhile the Mort is needed for “Battle of the Beers” is stopped on Pt. 8 because Mort is needed to “Retreat Cowardly” and I cannot spare even a single scissor grinding cycle because I’m already pushing toward the Oct 1 event end.
And what’s the deal with Peter (and sometimes a few others of the usual suspects) always becoming a bottleneck for *everything*??? At any one time, Peter is needed to gather like 3 resources and is needed to be sent on 4 or 5 different questlines. The dude must never get any sleep, because he’s literally needed everywhere for everything all the time. As soon as I get to a new quest or the next segment of a quest and see “Have Peter _____”, I feel like throwing my #*%$$% tablet at the wall and gouging out the eyes of someone at TinyCo.
And I’m also bloody tired of the events getting so ridiculously complicated that I can’t keep up with what I need to do to ultimately end up with some given prize. The layers of gathering to make this to be able to gather that to make some other thing is *not fun*, it’s a burden.

I know extra rare is meant to be extra rare but I’m 1 for 24 right now. Oh well, that one got me Lederhosen Peter and if I miss out on a couple decos I assure you I will live. 😛

Bunny, I agree with both of your dueces. People in general are terrible drivers most everywhere. Almost no one is paying attention to anything. I love driving myself, but look forward to a time when a lot of these idiots are being shuttled around in their driver-less cars.
And, yes, the 3 or 4 steps of trying to get items to try to get some other item to unlock someone or something is really terrible. Throwing in one at a time training/hiring queue creating an unnecessary bottleneck and then multiple goons/whatever needed to go try for a single rare (sometimes called “uncommon”) item at the end makes it’s even worse.
Only other thing I have at the moment is the 24 hour challenge being reset. I don’t mind that they added time but did they have to wipe out all my progress when they did it? I had finished all of Opie and Angela’s tasks and almost had Peters task done when it reset and everything reset to zero like I had never done anything. Fortunately I don’t care about that deco prize.

Spawning zombies and getting less back than when you started. Apart from Mr Weed and not coming out of the portal I’m spending 5 zombie feetca time to get one or two zombies back. Not a great reward, where are the 5, 10 or 20 zombie rewards we got before.
Regarding GUDG – I had all the hearing aids from the concert and just needed tasks to complete him outside of the stage area but he is gone again. I was working on getting viral videos as well but there was just too much to get for GUDG with the drop rates being very slow for grease. 4 hours for a picnic basket and then 1 hour to train up a ranger but you needed a second ranger so that’s another hour. 6 hours for one bit of grease. Or you could get them from mecha rick astley but then he got stronger each round and each battle took 4 hours too. Microphones were hard to come by too to get the required number for the concert that had *chance* of dropping candy.
Didnt put much effort into getting Ricardo as 10,000 glow sticks for one of his stuff was ridiculous enough.
Too many characters being out of reach.

Apps can adjust focal length, shutter speeds and whole lot more. iPhone 6 Plus gave HD video. iPhone 6S/6S Plus offer 4K video. If that’s what people want to use, let them. Sometimes it’s worth just as much to experiment and have a creative idea. The exact TOOL is unnecessary and not everyone can afford an SLR / video camera AS WELL as a smartphone which can tick a lot of boxes in terms of different functionalities. Some of the most vocal? Filmmakers/photographers, who should be open to experimentation. Instead there’s a snobbery.

Why doesn’t McDonalds here in Australia have pineapple pies and sundaes like in China? Those were AMAZING. We have no shortage of pineapples here. They can keep the taro ones though 😛

What the Deuce…Why is Facespace so cluttered with extra characters? They need to put in more collections to clean that up ASAP.

I don’t understand how I almost completed the timed event with one day left and it reset itself overnight?? Wtf?? Weird part is all of peter’ tasks I did are already done which I did previously? Can anyone explain this??
