TinyCo has dropped another awesome Event into our Quahogs. This time we are gonna go back to those “Scary Movies” of the past. The ones that send chills up your spine. Make those lil hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Make your heart start beating a lil faster. hack hack hack hack chop chop chop chop kill kill kill kill….

- First up, make sure you have the latest Version 1.13.0 Update for the Family Guy Game from the App Market installed to your device. This will ensure you are covered for any glitch patches and any other items that the Update has coded into it.
- You need to also be in at least District 3 with Al’s Costume Shop completed.
- Play the New Event to access ALL Content. With every new Event there are “unlock points” for many items, so play through the Main Questline in order to see it all. I will Update Unlock points if any as I find them.
- If you run into any issues Upgrading the Movie Screen, Force Close your game and if needed… restart device to clear it.
WARNING: There are Timed Items in the Movie Projection Booth, like Slasher Cat. I will post more as I get to them.

You have til the end of the Event to earn the items and get these Characters.
SCREAM LEVELS
Scream Pointsare going to be necessary throughout the Event to move forward to the “Next Movie” each week. You will be able to earn them all around the Event.
The Hatchet Icon in the Lower Right Corner will show your Current Scream Level. Tapping on it will pull up the Main Event Pop Up Screen. Up in the top of the Pop Up will show your current Scream Point Count and how many more to Next Scream Level.
MOVIE PROP SHACK
You will find this over in the Event area in the far Right Center of your game. It will be on the Left side of the Movie Screen. Hookhand Albert will be sitting outside of the Shack with a ! over it. Essentially this is the place where you can go to create Movie Props to use around the game. Similar to past Events, there will be a Queue as well as a Capacity.
Capacity is how many of that item you can have in your Quahog in use or in Queue total. You have to clear some once you reach your MAX before you can Create more. I started out with 8 Capacity in my game

This will be located to the Right of the Movie Screen in the Event Area. Here is where you can turn in Materials to gain Film Reels.
Film Reels will be used to get Prizes from the Movie Projection Booth. The first option you will see in here is trading Popcorn for Movie Reels. Watch closely because as you move up in your Scream Levels, so will the amount of Popcorn required to exchange for Movie Reels. Also there are Questline trigger points. Watch YOUR game for when it Changes.

WARNING THIS WILL BE TIMED FOR 24HRS!!!
Slasher Cat: Once you get the Pumpkin Tower Created, the moment you go back to the Movie Projection Booth and tap it to look inside, the time will start on Slasher Cat and you will only have 24hrs to unlock it.
Slasher Cat requires 100Movie Reels, so make sure you have a LOT stored up before reaching this point. You will want to be ready to get him. Once he times out, you will not have another Chance to pull him into your game. He has a 4hr task, Play with Toy Mouse, that will help drop Scythe’s. Part of Absolute Killers Clam Group. Reward of 20 Clams for completing the Group of 4 so far.
You do have til the end of the Event to get Slasher Cat, so take your time with the Pumpkin Tower and do not craft it til you are ready or if you do… don’t tap on the Movie Projection Booth.
UNHOLY NUNS
They will not appear in the game until you reach Death at the Drive-In Part 2. These are the NPC’s you will need to clear during this part of the Event. In order to clear them, you will need Holy Water Balloons.
UnHoly Nun: Requires 1 Holy Water Balloon to create a Launcher at the Movie Prop Shack. Put the Launcher in front of the Unholy Nun to clear them. You will know they are in the path of the Launcher by their appearance turning Purple in color.
Each Nun Hit dropped 10Popcorns
Holy Water Balloons (ALWAYS): Peter Desecrate Graves OR Mort Lose Cell Phone Signal OR Chris Check Out the Basement OR Bonnie Wear Inappropriate Shoes OR Crazy Joe’s Car Wash
Holy Water Balloon Launcher: This will be located at the Movie Prop Shack. Tap on the Shack to open it up and see what you need. You will need 1 Holy Water Balloon to get a Launcher to take out an Unholy Nun.
Basically once you get a Launcher, you tap on an Unholy Nun. The screen will tell you how many you have of the Launchers, tap on it and it will take you to the screen.
You will see a “Circle” and the Launcher. Just drag the Launcher and move it around just like a Building or Decoration until you have it right in front of the path of an Unholy Nun… then wait til they enter the Circle… (they turn Purple when in Circle) and tap the Check to place it and fire away.
If you are not ready yet, tap the X and go back out of the screen.
The Unholy Nuns go all over the place, so you will have to look for them.
SLASHER CAT & LOIS
This will start appearing after Death at the Drive-In Part 1. It will randomly show up and start attacking Lois. While she is being attacked, she will not be able to be used. In other words you will not be able to assign her tasks or clear her check marks will she is being attacked. You will need to get Slasher Bait Peter to clear them off of her.
Requires Slasher Cat to be Chasing Lois & Slash Bait Peter to be free. Just tap on Lois & Slasher Cat, then tap “GO” to get Slasher Bait Peter to come clear Slasher Cat from Lois. Payout of up to 15 Popcorns

You are looking at one thing and thinking of another. YES… I have a lot of Holy Water Balloons. There is no limit on them.
What you are thinking of is the Capacity for the Launchers themselves. The actual Prop you are making in the Prop Shack, not the Material you collect to make it. The Launchers/Props can only have up to 8 active at a time in the game. 😉

Well I have been waiting for this Halloween event all year so I am pretty excited. I am probably even going to spend some clams in the hopes of getting every character, building, and decoration. Another kind of cool thing is that I will be holding off on district 11 since I don’t want to waste time getting the other two ghosts while this event is going on. I am going to have so many zombie feet that it should be easy to get the ghosts. Currently at 250 and counting. Good luck to everyone because even with spending clams I don’t think it will be easy to get everything this Halloween. Hopefully I will be unlocking death’s moms house today but still have a ways to go to get to slasher cat. A little bad thing though, I am a little concerned how the drop rates will be. The only way to get the funny cigarettes is from murder point (kind of sucks) and the drop rate isn’t awesome. Might get slasher cat before I can even rescue Lois from slasher cat with slasher bait Peter lol. Oh well I am sure this event will be cool either way.

I take it it’s not like previous events when blasting people like unholy nuns. So this time it’s one launcher per each nun, as I has managed to get 2/3 in same circle 2 of the nund were practically on top of each other yet it only blasted one.

I was actually able to get 2 with one shot twice back when the nuns first showed up. I’ve continued to try to hit 2-in-1 each time, but it hasn’t worked for me in over a day. I think they might have patched it. Anyone else been able to get a 2-in-1 recently?

Not sure how due to they are coded that ONLY one will go Purple and be hit even if you have 4 in the Circle. So… you must have had a lucky temp glitch. 😉

I think you must be right. I haven’t been able to replicate it since. And while it gave me 20 popcorn each time, it only gave me quest credit for 1. Oh well. I enjoyed it while it lasted!

I would love to buy the buildings but I can’t help but think it will be useless or close to it after this week cuz of how many different treats and monsters that’s coming out. Like the car wash for instance, it helps kill the nuns but next week we will have a different monster. The popcorn thingie, that’s gonna be not as important I bet when next treat are out. Can’t help be think that it’s money down the drain…but that’s just my opinion people.

Cool event. Only hope Poppy The Salted will be worth the 250 clamolas paid. P.S. Learned them nuns can be tricky to hit. One possible glitch: when hitting the “X” during sighting up the nun, the launcher does NOT go back in inventory. Kind of a bummer.

It takes 116 total reals before we can even reach slasher cat. I don’t know how that it’s also possible to get another 100 reals before its time to start a new movie and start working on that? Going to fall way behind I guess.

I just finished the “Death at the Drive-In” questline by clearing a 5th nun. Immediately after, Chris had an !. Can you confirm whether Chris is part of a questline for the Halloween event? I’m thinking that Chris’s ! might just be a regular questline within the game (currently in district 6).

I kind of found the answer to my own question. Chris is in fact, the starter for Part 6 of “Death at the Drive-In” questline. There are three tasks: Visit the Concession Stand, Trade In Popcorn for Film Reels, and Place Murder Point.
Haven’t completed all three tasks, so this is the farthest I’ve gone in this questline.

I’m sure the long time players have already figured this out, but, a hint to finding the nuns. Open the concession stand, tap the bucket at the bottom. It will show the tasks to get the popcorn. Tap go next to the nun and it will take to one of the nuns.

I may have missed this part, but what basic buildings have drops so far? I want to clean up my Quahog to find the nuns easier since theyare living in a roadless world.. I’ve gone through my inventory searching, I think I got them all but I want to make sure.

Just let out a scream myself when I saw its 270 cleavers to reach level 3, I’m terrified to think what I then need to reach Level 4 in order unlock next content. But just like in a good horror movie things usually work out fine in the end…. Or do they…. (Insert evil laugh here).

Price never goes down no matter how many reels you get as its in a craft area. A LOT of Clams. 1350. Death was like almost 1500 Clams to outright buy vs earn items

When I went to use conzuelas vacuum to collect from my buildings the game froze on three consecutive attempts. It worked the fourth time, but I was just wondering if this is a trigger point for a glitch, similar to how Ollie’s world was a trigger in the mob event. I have a lot of buildings to collect from them individually, but if it is a trigger point for freezing, I’d rather avoid the game freezing lol.

Mine stalls once I hit close to or over 10K for a collection… but if you’re patient… it’ll finish. More you have…longer it will take. It’s not “freezing” just collecting from the heavy amounts of buildings.

How come u always have to be right?….it makes me smile thinking oh snap I finally see bunny with an error cuz believe me, I think I’ve been with u girls since the site starter and I never see an error on ur post. Well maybe I did but and maybe I didn’t but I can’t recall any. You r so dedicated to this site that it’s amazing to see you even more dedicated then before. Other places or site just died out but u manage to keep it going strong and better even when ur partner in crime is not around as much anymore. I miss Alissa but I think she has a handfull right now. Kinda dissapointed that I spent clams to help with the event, which in turn raised my scream level, thus making it harder to earn film reals, basically counteracting the advantage me spending clams gave me… Not even sure why Tinyco would do that?

Also I found when shooting the holy water balloons if you zoom in some and put ur finger right on the crossbow (or whatever they are calling it) it aims perfectly, it moved all around for me the last three shots because I wanted to give it a good test before posting. When my finger (and i tried with a stylus once) wasn’t directly on the crossbow it didn’t work well at all but once I was touching the image it was perfect

I just don’t want to find out I spent 250 clams on a character That i really have no desire to own ,, unless of course he helps me through the entire event by giving me extra event currency.

No. It will be used, but look in concession. Other “foods” will come into play too. Think all the orbs in the Replicator. Movie Reels will be used more as they actually have a counter.

This will probably be in the post (isn’t right now) but they added a task for Quagmire to get water balloons. Seems most of the characters are doing double duty between those and items for Peter.

I’m not fully positive this is the problem/solution, and did not directly check to see if Murder Point was fixed directly prior to this to me finally creating it.
I first bought Murder Point once I had gotten five Film Reels, having defeated only four UnHoly Nuns for the quest, but earning enough Popcorn to get the Reels. After I created Murder Point, as you’d expect due to this post, it marked it off, but wasn’t in any inventory space, nor a skin for the Anal Point (which is what stuff like that should be–better there than storage). I had tried hard closing the app a few times and checking, but never worked. Finally, I hop back on a bit later, get another Holy Water Balloon, take out my fifth Nun, finishing the quest, and then the next part appears telling me to make Murder Point. I click on it via quest button, and it takes me to the Movie Projection Booth, allowing me to make it again (not having lost any Reels due to the first time) for the quest, but this time, it actually worked, giving me the building.
In short, if people are having that glitch, I advise them waiting and seeing if it fixes after they defeat five UnHoly Nuns as part of the *quest* (not just in general) and then starting up the next part of that quest, and see if the glitch is fixed, letting you create and place Murder Point.

I just had a chance to hit 2 Nuns at once and it doesn’t work. It only registers 1 Nun at a time. TinyCo didn’t design this to work like when bombing NPCs. 😦

Should make a note in the launcher section of making sure not to miss or 6 hours worth of “work” go down the drain, She moved just outside the circle at the last second. ARGHHHHHHHHH.
