In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?
Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?
In this post, I will be covering the origin of Killer Stewie from Slasher Bait Peter’s & Lois’ “Be Brutally Murdered” Tasks (more info on Slasher Bait Peter HERE & Slasher Bait Lois HERE). Why does he murder so brutally? Where did he show up in the Family Guy series? Why does he look so scary?! Let’s take a look at the TV episodes to find out.
Season 10, Episode 2: Seahorse Seashell Party
Hurricane Flozell has hit Quahog, forcing the family to stay indoors. To make matters worse, the TV cuts out, just before Peter was gonna watch G.I. José…
Since he’s stuck inside for a while, Brian decides that taking mushrooms would be a fun way to pass the time. Stewie finds out, but he makes it clear that he’s cool with it; “oh dude, I think I can feel it too, I’m getting a context high”…
The family try to avoid boredom by playing charades (but with talking) and sitting quietly while Peter makes dad noises. Brian’s mushrooms then start to kick in, complete with visions of Peter’s chin doing a Hawaiian dance… Brian slowly leaves the room…
After a game of ‘Fingerbang’ leaves Stewie feeling sick, he rushes to the bathroom, only to find Brian with a pair of scissors: “I’m gonna cut my ear off to prevent World War Two”. After reattaching his ear, Stewie attempts to calm Brian with his soothing voice… unsuccessfully, leading Brian to freak out and hallucinate.
While Peter sings the opening chase music from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Stewie again tries to comfort Brian, curled up in a blanket in Stewie’s crib. “I think I’m dying… Jane Fonda. Is that – is that right?” Thank goodness his pal Stewie is right there…
We are then thrown into one of the trippiest Family Guy scenes ever, beginning with Brian being rainbow-puked out by a weird knight-vulture thing. To describe this scene doesn’t do it justice – let’s just say: cockroach Meg; “the wheels on the bus go round and round”; snake-y Lois; loads of mini- Brians; giant vulture-like Quagmire (“groggity”); and chicken drumstick Peter (“did you try the chicken, buddy?”). And finally…
… a giant Killer Stewie roars and rises beneath Brian’s feet, knocking him high into the air, before falling down a hellish pit, ending with a cut to a white screen. Cue Stewie creepily saying “Brian” and a quick flash of a Killer Stewie-like face (those of a nervous disposition, look away), before coming back to reality. A very thirsty Brian then recovers by having a long drink, to Peter’s amusement (“Hehehe, still drinkin’”).
The rest of the episode focuses on a major argument between Meg and the rest of the family, but Stewie ends with an important message that we should all listen to: “Hi, I’m Stewie Griffin. Tonight’s Family Guy was a very special episode about drug use, but the simple fact is it’s no laughing matter. To learn more about drugs, visit your local library. There’s probably a guy behind there who sells drugs. Good night.”
Incidentally, if you haven’t watched this episode, yet Killer Stewie still seems familiar, it may be due to last year’s Ghostbuster’s Halloween event. The Demonic Mystery Box used Killer Stewie as its icon (but with different horns and bat wings, for the extra-geeky out there) and the statue could be won as a decoration from the Frankenstein Mystery Box.
There you have it, a fairly quick (but dramatic) appearance in a mushroom trip, and Killer Stewie is in our games (well, in an animated task, anyway). Am I the only one who thinks that the hallucination scene has so much Halloween event potential? Did you recognise Killer Stewie? Wish he was aroundfor more than one task? got two questions: one is do we have til the end of the event to get slasher cat? and second one is why did the timer on the school started before i unlock lois’ costume?

ONLY if you did NOT start his timer and he is timed out. If you are in the Booth, and already on Lois… good chance you already did. Page over to the next pages and you will see as you are obviously in the booth so the timer had to have been started somewhere.

I am getting the same message. Emailed tinyco and they replied they are working on it. I was in the game about 30 minutes before that. I did not buy anything. I only got rid of a few werewolves while I was in there. I’m sure we will be up and running soon!

Having same issue sent email I dont have joes Hellhouse though so its an error on tinyco part maybe per device I run on an android tablet…hope its fixed soon Im so behind…:(

Help! Can’t log in and getting an error message got play area before play area exists. I think it might be from buying Joe’s Hell House skin? Sent the auto message to TinyCo. Any others with trouble?

I got the same error and can’t get in either. How do you message tinyco when it doesn’t even get past the loading screen? I didn’t get Joe’s hell house so can’t be that. Maybe patty timing out? Or they pushed a bad patch?

I’m having the same problem–I reported it, and got the usual “sit tight, we’re working on it.” I’m just bummed because my timer on Patty is going to run out soon, and now I’m not going to have a chance to finish her!

It’s doing the same for me. I uninstalled and was able to get into the level one game, but as soon I loaded my save game the error started again.
I’m about to email TinyCo as well.
With the horrible drop rates, impossible freemium now this, it’s finally feeling like QFS event.
