Just got out of training so give me a bit to get to a good signal area to fully update all the details.
Essentially TinyCo just dropped 2 more Premium Characters in our game and at least one returning Costume.
Maniac Pope, Super Devil, & Slutty Cat Meg.
This was a ***hiccup*** in it’s release. See more details below.

SLUTTY CAT MEG- 24HR CHALLENGE !!
When I jumped into my game, I already had Slutty Cat Meg and was sent to a Questline triggered by Meg right away, On The Prowl.
For those of you that do NOT have Slutty Cat Meg yet you will see an option to get her into your games. This will happen once you have Death’s Mom’s House Unlocked. So as soon as you get it out of the Booth, there will be a Challenge triggered for Slutty Cat Meg.
Again the requirements for this Challenge are:
- You do NOT have Slutty Cat Meg in your game already
- You have Unlocked Death’s Mom’s House from the Movie Projection Booth (Phase 5)
Nightmare on Spooner Street
Peter Starts? (Unable to confirm)
Clear 4 Unholy Nuns
Have Peter Unlock Car Doors (x6)
Have Joe Look For Murders (x4)
Have Mort Lose Cell Phone Signal (X3)
Completed Task Earns Slutty Cat Meg Costume
***For those of you that got it BEFORE the 24HR timer hit, Happy Glitch, consider yourselves very lucky. 😉 ***
MANIAC POPE & SUPER DEVIL
UPDATE 11/3: Those that purchased the 2 Characters that were released by mistake will now see a Pop up appear in game. This will remove the Characters, Refund your Clams, and give you a 10 extra for the inconvenience.

Hang tight. Waiting to see how they are going to approach this one. Last time this happened, they pulled the Characters back out and credited the Clams back to the Player. Still waiting for an update on how they will proceed on this one. Will update the post once I get that Clarification. 😉 (I got them both in my game)
Immediately in my Menu was Maniac Pope and the Super Devil, both of them Premium Clam purchases. I am still verifying IF they were supposed to be released or not. Will update when I get confirmation back.
Maniac Pope: 125 Clams, Fully Tasked, He is Voiced, No Questline triggered, No additional drops that I see yet.
Super Devil: 125 Clams, Fully Tasked, No Voice that I can hear, No Questline triggered, No additional drops that I see yet.
There you have it, a lil surprise added into our games for the Event.

Any word on Patty being brought back like slutty cat Meg? I would gladly buy her as a premium. I got Ruth & Ester so my OCD is going to be killing me having an empty space lol I have to have them all Bwaaahahahahha

I had my clams returned with the extra 10 clams as well. The thing is, after I purchased the Pope yesterday, it completed a set so was given the bonus clams for set completion. I looked after the Pope was taken back this morning and it still says that the set is complete (even though I no longer have him). So whether I get the Pope or not now, I still have the bonus clams for completing the set! I will probably still be able to get the Pope back though, as I am finding phase 5 to be the best week of all for obtaining reels (even better than phase 4 – and I already thought was a good week).
Also, I think that it is great that the costume quest today is for Quagmire’s Ghostbuster outfit. I already obtained Cleveland and Joe’s Ghostbuster outfit from the Mystery Box (that was available earlier during this event), so I am thrilled that I will be able to get Quagmire’s outfit as well. It was is an outfit that I really wanted and now I will be able to get it for free!

By the way once you get slutty cat meg there will be an ! On quagmire to get the ghost buster costume for him
You will have to do the following to get the costume:
make 8 cannons
Get 6 water balloons
Get 6 garlic
And have lois hide from slasher cat 2 times

Got my refund from TinyCo, which I knew I would. Never stressed that. Now I’m just curious to see how we must obtain them now. Still hoping for a mystery box with Freddy and Jason in it. Did anyone else see the little promo for the flying vampire cat that is apparently popping in at some point?

Complete to earn Ghostbuster Quagmire
(24 hour timed)
Make 8 silver cannons
Get 6 garlic bombs
Have Lois hide from Slasher Cat twice
Get 6 water balloon launchers

Just had the Super devil and Maniac Pope taken back. Refund of clams, plus 10 clams each. An “Advanced Screening” they called it. 🙂

I am very far behind in the event, not a big fan of this one is any way really, so I haven’t bothered with lots of the content. I am at the end of phase 2, drops for me have been very low. I got the questline for Meg’s skin, with no timer. I didn’t bother going back as it wouldn’t have been too convenient, only to find that I have less than 8 hours to finish it. Peter’s tasks alone would take 12 hours. I could have just about gone in and done everything if they had shown the timer. I messaged them but I don’t think that they will do anything. The Maniac Pope seems kinda funny, but I wouldn’t buy him. I would have been tempted by the Super Devil as I enjoyed that episode, but he never said anything so I don’t know what they will do with his voice.

I somehow got around 400 3d glasses all the sudden and have no idea why… any ideas? I was saving up for Joe’s hell house and had just a few left to get… and then all the sudden I jumped from 140 3d glasses up to 550 without doing anything… weird but super awesome.. I spent them all and it worked fine

Hello! I am trying to boost my scream level so I can catch up and start phase 4 (too much stalling in the early days!) Whats the best way to increase it quickly?
Also I have the slutty cat meg quest going but am only phase 3 lol

The Decorations you can get multiples of with 3D Glasses like Footprints n corn maze drop Scream Points when placed

You may still need them. As it says this was in error. Just like Patrick they were released with their “placeholder” which is a generic 125 clams. One or both may still return as unlock able characters

I got the questline for Slutty Cat Meg last night. It didn’t have a timer, so I decided to take my time with it. When I got up this morning, the timer said I have 11 hours left. If I was supposed to have 24 hours from the time I activated it, the timer is off, and because I didn’t start sending my people immediately to start the tasks, I now don’t have enough time to complete them. I reported the issue (though, I didn’t know about the supposed 24 hours when I reported it).

Looks like I’m not getting this costume for meg, everytime I try to send Joe to do the task of the murders the game crashes and its only when I do that task, I also have 9 hours left so even if the crashing got fixed I doubt I’d be able to finish it in time.

I’m nearing the end of Phase 3, but Slutty Cat Meg came up for me. Already got the nuns, and Peter, Mort and Joe are all on their third tasks, so hopefully I’ll be able to get her in time.

Sadly, there was a glitch with the quest for Slutty Cat Meg in my game, because yesterday (I’m in Sweden) there was no timer on the quest icon but today when I woke up it was there and I only had 15 hours left to perform the tasks! Since the “Joe looks for murderers” task takes 4 x 4 = 16 hours it’s now impossible for me to make it. Darn.
I reported the problem to TinyCo right away, but do you think there’s a chance they will heed my call?

They were most likely reserved for Phase 6 and got released too soon. So wait and see their accurate release Thursday 🙂

I am hoping that they give us a boost for getting film reels. I am working on the Basilisk now and fear the I won’t be able to earn enough be the end of the even to get Albert. He will be the first character that I might miss since I started playing the game.

I am currently 620 reels towards Hook Hand Albert. I will most likely be getting him tomorrow if not earlier tonight. I haven’t spent clams on any reels for him either.

How have you earned so many reels? You’ve got about 1000 more than me and I’ve been hiring 24/7. I’ve never had enough materials to earn reels so fast.

For the Slutty Cat Meg quest it reads “Complete to earn Slutty Cat Meg”, instead of “Peter starts”. 🙂

It never says who starts it in the pop ups silly. I usually comment who has that ! over their head to kick off the task. THAT is what it is referring to on “Peter Starts”. That means Peter has a ! over his head when you go in the game to start the quest. However, I am only going off of word of mouth on that one as I already have her, hence the “can’t confirm”. 😉

I received and begun working on the quest line for Slutty Cat Meg BEFORE the 24 hour timer was introduced in my game (well, it was not showing in my game anyway). When I went back into the game though, there was a timer now and it was down to 23 hours and a few minutes.
I also purchased Super Devil and the Maniac Pope (which completed a set, so was given the bonus clams). If they remove him from my game and credit back my clams, I wonder what will happen to my bonus clams? Will they be removed as well and then credited back once I get him on the actual release?
I really wish TinyCo would get their act together before releasing things..

Yes, I would love to get Freddy as well. I only started playing the game this year (as I had not yet heard about the game before then). It is not really Halloween in Quahog with one of the biggest Halloween icons of all time missing in my game.. 🙂

I have slutty cat meg from last year but have not gotten an extra questline for her. Im still on part 1 of phase 5 though and just placed the spectacle shop. Maybe I’m not far enough.

LOL I got them too. was like hmmm 125 each. Awesome, we usually pay 250 for each anyways. I hope they don’t come back and need a butt load of reels for them.

I got Super Devil but once I saw his action task did nothing I kinda figured it was a glitch and held off on the Pope. I in game messaged TinyCo. Pope has since disappeared but Super Devil is still standing motionless in task. Not too worried about it. The glitches will be fixed and all will be well 🙂

Major bummer about Maniac Pope being premium. When I see groupings in FaceSpace, my expectation is all the characters/skins are able either to be gotten through game play or they all are premium. The mix is rough. But it fits that the Pope would be premium since Albert is essentially premium at 750 reels. But if this means no new characters for the final week, I am going to give Albert a real shot. Won’t make that call until Thursday’s new content release to see what’s in store. But it gives me something to shoot for during the extra week. Maybe that is TinyCo’s master plan. Bwahahahaha!!
