Where The Hell…? Patrick Pewterschmidt

Note From Bunny: This post was brought to you by the generous help of one of our very own Addicts Readers! Thanks!!

In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?

Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?
Patrick Pewterschmidt 1

In this post, I will be covering the Origin of Patrick Pewterschmidt. When did he first show up? Who is he? What does he have against fat guys? Let’s take a look at the TV Episodes to find out.

Season 4, Episode 17: The Fat Guy Strangler
The episode starts with Lois reminding Peter about his physical, which of course he doesn’t want to go to. Instead he sneaks out with Brian to go have steaks with the guys, whilst wearing a horse suit… because Peter. Peter eats seven 16oz steaks, though Joe can’t even manage one. Even the cow had two! Joe gets mad with them taunting him and shoots the steak into bits.

Peter gets home and fails to lie to Lois about going by saying that he was in too good a shape. She forces him to go see Dr Hartman, who spends a full minute avoiding answering Lois’ question about whether Peter is healthy, instead making jokes like, “About this cancer… you are a Cancer right?” In the end Dr Hartman just tells him he is pretty healthy; he’s just fat. Peter is in denial about this fact.

He gets home and Brian agrees that he is rather on the large side, to which Peter responds by taking a hula hoop and squeezing it around his waist and pretty to hula with it, to prove how not fat he is. Whilst doing so he knocks over a picture frame which breaks. Lois picks it up – it’s an old family photo her mum gave her… and it’s been folded to cover up a little boy in the picture. But Lois doesn’t have a brother?

Patrick Pewterschmidt 1

Cut to the Rhode Island Gentleman’s Club where Carter receives a phone call from her asking about whether she has a brother, but he denies it. Obviously the appropriate course of action is for Lois, Brian and Stewie to break into her parents’ house. According to Lois they are so doped up on sleeping pills and liquor an earthquake wouldn’t wake them up. Lois finds information about a Patrick Pewterschmidt living in Brookfield in her parents’ safe. In the meantime Brian and Stewie use Babs and Carter as toboggans down the stairs… Who needs fancy electronic toys?!

Back home, Brian is discussing Peter’s fat denial. Brian holds an apple up to Peter and it begins to orbit around him because he has his own gravitational pull! Meanwhile, Lois is taking the kids to 56 Meadow Lane, Brookfield. But it turns out that the address is for Brookfield Insane Asylum! She heads inside to discover whether her brother is really insane. Chris asks Patrick why he’s living in an insane asylum. Apparently when he was little, Patrick burst in on Jackie Gleason doing his mother… “Pow, right in the kisser!”

He was so traumatized, Carter and Babs sent him here and he figures they must’ve forgotten about him. Lois decides to take him home with her.

Patrick is happy to be home with his family. Peter comes in the room and announces that he’s fat, only slightly blaming Meg. He decides that the best thing to do is to create the National Association for the Advancement of Fat People (NAAFP), y’know, as opposed to losing some weight. This is the best idea he’s had since he slayed that dragon! (Sybil Shepherd??) Anyway, Lois is really glad Patrick is here and he says that Marian and he very much appreciate what Lois has done for them. Marian being his invisible wife…

Peter calls the first meeting for NAAFP. He can’t start it very well over all the noise of the fat guys crunching on snacks, farting and generally struggling to breathe. He wants to discuss what they want from the community as fat people with pride. Cue more groaning, farting and chair collapsing. The meeting went super well!

Brian and Stewie are left at home with the invisible Marian and are generally taking the piss out of this fact, popping a cucumber in the place where she’s supposedly sat. The cucumber may turn into a pickle later in the episode, proving that Marian is real lololol?? Peter is sat talking to an apple pie (totally not insane at all), when Patrick walks in, asking him about whether he started a fat guy coalition. He tells Peter not to encourage fat people because they’re immoral, just like that Jackie Gleason! Peter loves Jackie Gleason and puts on a bus driver uniform and says “Pow, right in the kisser!” over and over causing Patrick to be triggered.

Patrick Pewterschmidt 3

Carter calls Lois and asks whether she released Patrick. Apparently he’s very dangerous! Lois disagrees, but then on the news Tom Tucker announces that the body of a fat man was found in Quahog Park last night! Coincidence? Police released a sketch of the suspect, “The Fat Guy Strangler”, which looks just like Patrick. Within a week three more people have been killed, but Lois is still in denial, even when Patrick walks in covered in dirt and carrying a shovel.

Peter brings his fat guys into the house, claiming that they’re in danger from the murderer. Brian tells Peter that Patrick is the murderer! Patrick has to run! Peter and the fat guys chase after him on their Rascal into James Woods.

Brian shows Lois into Patrick’s room, where there are photos of Patrick strangling fat guys, a fat guy under the bed and halfdead fat guy on the floor who says, “Patrick tried to kill me”.

Patrick Pewterschmidt 4

Surely Lois has to believe Brian now?! They head out to look for Peter, who is still looking for Patrick. Suddenly Patrick appears from behind Peter and tries to strangle him! Lois turns up with Brian and says that if he doesn’t let Peter go, Marian’s gonna get it and holds a knife to her invisible neck. Patrick is really upset, because he never meant to hurt Lois. Even though Lois still loves her brother, he does have to go back to the insane asylum. At least they can go visit him once a month!

Season 10, Episode 16: Killer Queen
Patrick also appears in a later episode. It starts with Joyce Kinney announcing that famed Asian competitive eating champion Charles Yamamoto is coming to Quahog. Anyone wanting to challenge him has to come down to James Woods High on Saturday with $50 and a large appetite! Peter convinces Chris to enter the contest, though they need to get the $50 entry fee… Peter finds some old albums in the attic and Brian buys his copy of Queen’s News of the World from him for $50, purely so he can use it to scare Stewie…

Patrick Pewterschmidt 5

He spends most of the episode terrifying Stewie with the robot picture on the album, until Stewie almost kills himself, that Brian has to calm him down and as sure him that it really is just an album. Chris tries to wake Peter the following morning at the crack of dawn for training, but Peter is far too tired. Nevertheless, they end up at the Hot Dog Eating Contest and Chris has to eat as many hot dogs as he can in 10 minutes! Yamamoto manages to eat 40 hot dogs but Chris eats 41 and wins! He has defeated the reigning champion woo!

Later on at home, Chris isn’t feeling too good. Lois is angry with Peter and points out that Chris is already overweight and they need to take responsibility for him, so she’s sending him to fat camp. They arrive at the Fresh Start Teen Weight Loss Camp, but Chris is really upset. He asks how come Peter doesn’t have to come, seeing as he’s fatter than Chris is! Lois taunts Peter that he might not be able to handle it, so of course now Peter ends up attending the camp too.

The campers do fun things like telling scary stories about… vegan places! They also go on a hike and Peter and Chris leave the track to try and find a gingerbread house, but instead they find a dead camper! Joe turns up and points out that the fat kid has been murdered, by strangling. Peter only knows one guy who kills fat guys by strangling… Patrick Pewterschmidt! But Lois’ brother is locked up in an asylum, right? As Peter is ringing Lois to tell her about the murder, Meg brings Patrick into the living room, as he’s dropped by for a visit… Hmm…

Patrick Pewterschmidt 6

Joe races back to the Griffin house with Peter and Chris, in order to arrest Patrick, but Patrick claims that he didn’t escape from the asylum, but rather a very nice gentleman had come earlier that day, opened his cell door and said he was free to go.

Back at Camp Fresh Start, it is discovered that another camper was strangled half an hour ago, whilst Patrick was with the Griffins, so it can’t be him. Brian points out that Patrick could help out with the investigation because he understands the mind set of the murderer. Patrick thinks it’s unlikely the murderer will leave the camp, because he has plenty of places to hide and has a lot of victims available. But as they look around the camp, they realise the first dead kid was wearing a baseball cap and the second one was blonde. The murderer was actually trying to kill Chris, who they’ve left at home with Lois. Someone appears in Chris’ bedroom… It’s Yamamoto! Chris dishonored him by eating more hot dogs and so he must die!

Patrick Pewterschmidt 7

Fortunately Stewie bursts into the room brandishing Queen’s News of the World! The sight of the robot gives Yamamoto a heart attack and he dies! Go Stewie! Incidentally, it turns out it was Yamamoto who let Patrick out of his cell, presumably to set him up. At the end of the episode, Patrick disappears, never to be seen again… until we got him in our games!

What I don’t understand is how the fact that Babs had an affair with Jackie Gleason and no one else in the family thought that was discussion worthy?

  3. Hey there. I’m sure someone asked this already but i can’t seem to find it. Do I have to collect all the items for Patrick and Ruth before the end of the event? Or can I continue to collect after? I still need running shoes

    • Characters have to be completely Unlocked to keep them. Materials go with the event so no way to get those items needed after the event. Anything not Unlocked or purchased goes when event goes

  4. I took more than a week to unlock Patrick …first challenge was get a lot of reels without having sour milk, red whip, the salto or any of those. I dont have clams to buy them, its pretty hard to get a lot of reels without that help. The second challenge was the Cyclops House, took me 5 days to get 1 running shoes, and one more to get another one. But i finally got Patrick!! Ruth was much easier!
