Hey there Slashers!
The Halloween 2015 Event, Death at the Drive-In, will be coming to a close today November 12th at 3PM Pacific, So what does all this mean to you? Let’s take a look…
BUILDINGS
ALL Buildings brought into the game for the Event will go away when the Event ends unless you purchased them from the Menu.
DECORATIONS
ALL Decorations brought into the game for the Event will go away when the Event ends unless you purchased them from the Menu.
CHARACTERS
ANY Character brought into the game for the Event not COMPLETELY unlocked and wandering around in your game as a playable Character goes when the Event goes. Remember, many of the Characters required a Building purchase first to start collection on them. This means you ONLY purchased the Building and NOT the Character. So if you have Materials you still need to earn for a Character and do not complete it when the Event is over, you lost that Character and all those Materials too. There is absolutely no way to continue working to get them AFTER the Event. Once Event is over, they are gone if not completed. So decide if it is worth it to you to spend Clams to complete their unlock … or let them go with the Event.
MATERIALS
ALL Materials tied to the game go when the game goes. This includes Movie Reels, 3D Glasses, Licorice, Ice Cream, Soda, Popcorn, Chocolate Bars, Cannons, Launchers, etc. ANY Material you used for the game you need to use BEFORE the Event ends. All will clear away once the game resets when the Event is over. So use up your 3D Glasses and other various Materials while you can.
MYSTERY BOXES
Mystery Boxes are linked to the Event, so if you wanted to take a spin in them one more time make sure it is BEFORE the Event Ends. ALL Mystery Boxes will go when the Event Ends.
MOVIE PROJECTION BOOTH
ALL 6 pages of items from the Movie Projection Booth will go when the Event ends. This means ANY item you did NOT get from the Booth for Movie Reels and pull into your game will go when the Event goes. Use up what Reels you can BEFORE the Event Ends.
QUESTLINES
Per TinyCo, the Side Questlines attached to New Event Characters AFTER they are unlocked will be able to continue after the Event. Any Questlines linked to the Main Questline or specific Event Only dynamics of the game will go when the Event goes.
AFTER EVENT??
With TinyCo, anything is possible. Many times a Mini-Event has quickly followed a Main Event Ending (either Thursday or Friday). I do not have any information or details as of yet to anything hitting AFTER Death at the Drive-In… and I will be at the new job a lil later into the evening… but I will have information posted to the site as soon as I can if something does hit. Just hang in there with me.
There you have it. Halloween 2015 is coming to a close.

Have Maniac Pope practice his moves. (6 hr)
Papal Duties Pt. 2
Have Maniac Pope wash Pope robes. (8 hr)
Have Death hangout with Maniac Pope.
Papal Duties Pt. 3
Have Slasher Bait Lois ignore strange noises. (2 hr)
Have Maniac Pope confess sins to self. (2 hr)
Papal Duties Pt. 4
Have Maniac Pope chase victims. (10 hr)
Have Slasher Bait Peter run away from Maniac Pope. (6 hr)

I am working on Pinhead’s questline but can’t advance because I no longer have the option to make Peter desecrate graves. Anyone else run into this?

Meh, tree fell on my internet line in week 2 and it took a week to fix. So, without running up mobile data like a madman, I was behind already. Not that big a deal. Still made it to level 15. The magnet p/o stopped me dead and I kinda just gave up at that point. The whole thing just seemed too busy to me. The werewolves, reel costs all over the map, surprise timers, bats not paying out, Lois and the Cat, etc. Only really wanted Death anyway so, that worked out. Could have been a little more linear and not so convoluted but, I liked the premise and the scenery was cool. I’m all for a challenge but, maybe dumb it down a bit next time Tiny Co…lol

I would LOVE to help out in any way you think I could! Sorry I got the names wrong for Quagmire and Chris’s Dog selves, lol. My bad! Well, lmk if I can do anything….I’m pretty much a Freemium player though with the exception of purchasing a select few Premium characters as I don’t care to collect certain characters and certainly won’t spend a fortune on the game either – since no money to spend on clams or outside help with them.
Congratulations on your new job!!! I’m sure you will impact lives greatly, bc you’re such a cordial trooper! 😉 I wish you the very best! 😀

Thank goodness. I paid for Stuff, I still failed. Here’s hoping Christmas is doable, and maybe with fewer new forms of currency (I consider items you need to get items currency).

Hi Bunny, it has been some time, but I noticed you mentioned a new job. So, thanks for taking the time to post about this game while concentrating on a very important aspect of your life. If you gave details before, please send a link, so I can read. Did Alyssa have the baby as yet? Send the link to that info too. I am having such a hard time negotiating the new look of your site (I’m no whipper-snapper)! Thanks for all that you do.

Baby should pop anytime. I am in the Medical Field now Full Time, helping people… who would have thought that I would take a job helping people, right? 😉
Sadly it does mean my time here now is limited so I am reaching out for help from this awesome community. We will see what happens. I would hate to just shut this all down. I love our Addicts Community we have built. 🙂

Welcome to the wonderful world of medicine. No matter what role you play in the field (tech, medical records, nurse, doctor, administrator, etc), as long as you enjoy it, you will be rewarded. I do hope this site can continue. Unfortunately I can’t help. Besides not being able to progress that far in the game (I only made it to the snake pit), the Halloween event left me feeling a little flat. I am going to continue to play, but not as hard core as you would need a helper to do. If you have to shut it down, I will miss the site, but I know that the real world is more important. Take care and good luck. I hope everyone respects and supports whatever decision you make. All the best to Alyssa too.

Glad this event is over. They need to revamp their events. The randomness kept me over a week behind at all times, and no matter what I did could never catch up.

Is there any chance that in the poll you could include the question, “on average, how many times did you log in daily?” I would like to see where everyone else got to because I wasn’t even able to get to Death’s mom even though I logged in every hour between 8am-9pm daily for the entire event.

I would be interested to see those results as well. I had been working on her forever but that last plate just never dropped. I am not happy about it… Deaths dog butt scoot and a building drop @ four hours I think and only one plate? For days? I log in many, many, many times per day… I don’t see why they didn’t allow us to finish collecting for her either… It was nice to be able to spend glasses on some mystery boxes at least.

I was in a similar boat, though “only” about 4-5 logins a day. I had just started week 5, about to buy the building for deaths mom. It took me close to two weeks to get death, and the game just wouldn’t progress until I got him, of course. Absolutely miserable event all around.

I got her, but had 2 hours left to unlock her, so that clearly didn’t happen, and I was logging in all the time. I think the only way to finish these events is to spend a stupid amount of clams

Now the event is over, I just noticed that trees are back to green from fall colors. Lol
