Note From Bunny: This post was brought to you by the generous help of one of our Addicts Helpers! Thanks!!
In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?
Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?

In this post, I will be covering the origin of some of the items brought into our little games with the Thanksgiving 2015 Event. Why are they in our game? When did they show up in the Family Guy series? No way that’s the shrimp?! Let’s take a look at the TV episodes to find out.
Quagmire’s Kitchen Set & Butter Sluts Set
Season 14, Episode 1: Pilling Them Softly
Mellie has already written a great recap of this episode, which I recommend you read (if you haven’t already) by clicking HERE. In short, Quagmire’s Kitchen is Quagmire’s cooking TV show, and Butter Sluts is Peter’s.

Cleveland’s “Cleveland Show” House, The Broken Stool, the Welcome to Virginia Sign & the Tubbs-Browns
As well as being from The Cleveland Show, these items also make appearances in Family Guy; the following episode contains them all.
Season 8, Episode 19: The Splendid Source
Chris gets suspended from school after telling a dirty joke that Quagmire told him. When Quagmire later tells Peter the joke, he finds it so funny that he poops his pants every time he hears it (Joe: “Haha, it’s funny when it happens to other people”).

Eventually, Peter, Joe and Quagmire decide to go on a quest to find the source of the world’s dirty jokes. This leads them to Bruce, then Consuela, then Mayor West, then Dr Hartman, then Angela, then Opie, then Herbert, then Tom Tucker, then Bender from Futurama, then Al Harrington, then REO Speedwagon, whose song ‘Take It on the Run’ leads them to a bartender in Virginia.
Unfortunately, Bonnie and Lois have planned a couples weekend in Maine, but Peter is determined not to let this interfere with his quest. While in the car on the way to Maine, Quagmire distracts Bonnie and Lois from Peter’s driving by asking them “What was childbirth like?”; they don’t even notice when they pass the Welcome to Virginia Sign.

The guys visit The Broken Stool to speak to the bartender, Gus, who says he heard the joke from… Cleveland! Peter: “Holy crap! Who knew we’d run into you here? Except everyone, if FOX ruined it in the promos.”

The episode then cuts to Cleveland’s “Cleveland Show” House, where the families (including Donna, Rollo and Cleveland Jr.) are having dinner together. Donna: “I don’t think we’ve seen you folks since the wedding. Still waiting on that gift.” Peter: “The gift was the show.” But, of course, that gift didn’t last, and Cleveland, Donna, Roberta, Cleveland Jr. and Rollo moved into Cleveland’s old house in Quahog in Season 12, Episode 20: He’s Bla-ack!

Camp Putdownadaforka Sign
Season 6, Episode 5: Lois Kills Stewie
This episode follows on from the previous episode, Stewie Kills Lois, which Ollie Williams sums up pretty well: “What happened last time, Ollie?” “Stewie killed Lois!” “Then what?” “Peter got blamed!” “Then what?” “Peter went to court!” “Then what?” “Lois came back!” “How?” “Wasn’t really dead!” “Thanks, Ollie.”
In the courtroom, Lois explains that, after being shot by Stewie and falling into the ocean, she was saved by a passing merman, who healed her wounds and carried her to safety. Suffering from total amnesia, she wandered around for a while, until she discovered she was in North Carolina, where she managed to get a job at a summer camp for fat kids (Camp Putdownadaforka). Lois: “It was my job to keep the children from eating each other.”

Hurry Up, Shrimp! Balloon
Season 12, Episode 1: Finders Keepers
Peter develops terrible ‘dad breath’, so Lois books him a dentist’s appointment, where the cause of Peter’s bad breath is found to be a shrimp lodged under one of his gums. Peter notes that it “must have been in there a while. It’s been weeks since I ordered from Hurry Up, Shrimp.”
Cue an advert for the speedy shrimp delivery service, Hurry Up, Shrimp, including their catchy jingle: “Hurry Up, Shrimp. Hurry Up, Shrimp. Hurry Up, Hurry Up, Hurry Up, Shrimp. (Not responsible for undercooked shrimp).” Although there’s no balloon, the delivery car has the same company logo on top.

McBurgertown Mascot Balloon (kind of… the McBurgertown Mascot, anyway)
Season 6, Episode 8: McStroke
After going through Cleveland’s mail and finding ‘Mustache Aficionado’, Peter decides to grow a mustache, only for it to be burnt off after saving the owner of a McBurgertown restaurant from a fire. In return, the owner offers him a lifetime supply of free burgers, but Peter then overeats, has a stroke, recovers and decides to sue McBurgertown.
To gather evidence, Peter and Brian pose as two Asian businessmen looking to invest in the company, in order to get a tour of McBurgertown Headquarters. As part of the tour, Peter and Brian are shown a new mascot being test-marketed: Meaty, the Quick-to-Anger Clown. “Hey, kids! Who likes McBurgertown burgers?” “I do!” “There was more to my question!” “[Kids start crying].” (He might also seem familiar as a decoration from the 2014 Halloween event.)

Fat Brian Balloon (kind of… Fat Brian, anyway)
Season 3, Episode 13: Screwed the Pooch
After Brian seemingly impregnates Carter’s prize-winning greyhound, Seabreeze, Carter forbids Brian to see her or their future puppies – so Brian sues Carter for custody. Eventually, Brian is granted custody, but with the condition that he be neutered first.
Just before the operation, Peter comments: “I am not looking forward to what you’re gonna be like once they do this to you.” Cue Fat Brian sat on the coach eating a box of chocolates: “I loooove chocolate! But I can’t eat it because then I’ll get fat. But it’s soooo good!”

Stewie Balloon
Season 10, Episode 6: Thanksgiving
While the Quahog Thanksgiving Day Parade is on TV, Stewie notices that one of the balloons is him. “What the hell?! Mom, mom, it’s me! Mom!” “Oh yeah, it’s a baby! It’s a big balloon baby, just like you’re a baby.” “No, it’s me, it’s a balloon of me!” “Peter, come look at this! He sees a baby and knows that he’s also a baby. So smart, mama’s smart little boy!”

Highland Park Market (& the Tubbs-Browns, again)
Season 13, Episode 5: Turkey Guys
After eating the turkey while drunk the night before Thanksgiving, Peter and Brian have to buy another. After trying to find a turkey at the Stop ‘N Shop, every grocery store in town and the Quahog Mini-Mart, they have to drive so far out of town that none of the car’s radio stations work – other than one that plays ‘Meet Virginia’ by Train.
Eventually, they find the Highland Park Market, which has one turkey left – but they eventually have to give it to a guy holding a gun in a similar situation: “I can’t go back to my wife without a turkey!” (Incidentally, according to ‘oogle’, the Highland Park Market is a real store in Connecticut.)

Meanwhile, guests are arriving for the Griffins’ Thanksgiving dinner, including Cleveland, Donna, Roberta, Cleveland Jr. and Rollo. Eventually, Peter and Brian return with a live turkey, stolen from a zoo, and after Peter decides he can’t kill it, Chris drunkenly shoots it with a shotgun. Peter: “Well, looks like we’re having turkey after all!” As the families laugh, Peter narrates over the end of the episode: “Four years later, me and Lois divorced and Stewie died. Gobble gobble!”

There you have it, a rundown of where some of the items that dropped into our little games with the Thanksgiving 2015 event came from.
What do you think of the episodes? Did you recognise where these items came from? Any that I’ve missed (I’m sure there are many)? Did you manage to get Donna or Roberta? Did you buy the kitchen sets or Rallo? How many balloons did you manage to get? Enjoy the event overall? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Great wrap up lots of stuff I forgot in there. I love the stewie float so much. I was just watching the season ten thanksgiving episode last week in anticipation and was glad they ended up having it in the game. One of the funniest scenes in the show imho. “Mom look it’s me!”
