It seems that we have taken a step into story time at the local library and are tossed into some Fairytale world with some fun and unusual Characters. There are Knights, Dragons, Magic Beans, and even Damsels in Distress.
With the New Even upon us, we also have a New Main Questline that will take us through each week’s New Content. Week 1’s Main Questline will start us out with Once Upon A Time.

Family Guy Addicts 
My game non stop kicks me out. Has been doing it for over a year. No matter what device i use. Do u know why it does this? It really messes me up in my game because when it licls me out..my last 2 mins of gameplay us forgotten or something. I will reload my game and find that the last 4 or 5 actions i did..are no longer done and i have to redo them. I literally get to play for 60 seconds before i get kicked out my game. Every single time i try to play it.

I would say RAM. This game is VERY draining on any device out there, even new ones. I would suggest to limit items in your town and try all the basics I do to keep the Memory drain from being too much for your device and kicking you out. It also doesn’t hurt to uninstall/reinstall and give your device a fresh version of the game now and then and wipe out any unneeded info. Just make sure your game is saved and linked to an account first.

Is anyone else’s honor level stuck? I’m on level, with the bar way past where it’s supposed to be. Just won’t budge.

There is no numbers showing. There was a few spots it only “appeared” stuck, but it moved after that and continued going up n up n up.

Got a response about the Dragon. When it flees it will be gone for a random amount of time between 12 and 27 hours.
Not a fan of this, but that’s why it’s been gone so long.

My first dragon appeared way before the help files says it should and it’s timer ended last night and he has not come back yet. It wants 40clams to sumon him. I’m not paying clams to bring it back.

What I really dislike about the extended disappearance of the dragons… Tapping on the dragon seems to be the only way to see what potions you have.

Been 32 hours for me. That’s just wrong. Between the horrific drop rates and MIA dragon this has been less than an enjoyable first week of event.

I’m close to 25 hours now. That is quite ridiculous if you ask me. I have a feeling (and hope) they change this to make it the standard 4 hour wait time.

Hi Bunny, so I just logged on this morning (4:20am gmt) and my Dragon is finally back and already on 20 hrs 5 mins soooo it randomly appeared around 12:15am?? That’s pretty unhelpful for it to appear at such a dumb time and start the countdown lol…anyway least i should be able to get one attack in and move on with the questline…

Yeah, mine is well beyond 27 hours now. Really wish they’d have a timer, even if they stick with a random amount of time. I’d hate to lose several hours of attacking time because I didn’t know when to expect it to reappear.

3 days in a not a single sword or armor piece, though I did get two golden eggs. 😀. Is this usual or am I in some kind of weird glitch maybe? Not complaining, just asking if I need to contact Support or just wait it out. I’m kinda at a stand still in the game now without Sir Peter.

Hmm… I got a bug going on in my game: I was looking in my inventory to see the stuff from the Star trek event, but there was a item called Turbolift, that is invisible, and the space is 1×1, but it drops 20 beans in 16 hours.

When you fail to kill the Dragon, how long till it comes back?

Does anyone know how long the dragon is supposed to disappear for? I hit it once before I got to Part 7, the timer didn’t reset to 24 hours but stayed at about 1.5, the dragon disappeared, and it’s now 16 hours later and hasn’t been back. I sent TinyCo an in game message but don’t expect to hear back until Monday.

My game consistently crashes, even being the only app running on the device. Is this a known issue, or am I just screwed for the event?

Have you tried storing items in the game? Use the tips I do to keep the RAM from causing instability in the game.

Even storing everything that wasn’t in use. Only the force close. That’s what fixed the crashing issue.

I had this same issue constantly. TinyCo kept giving me the “store items” rhetoric over and over, which I think is BS since I should be able to play the game how I want and put whatever I want on my game board. The game is called “Quest For Stuff” after all! All my own opinion. Anyway, A few weeks ago I FINALLY got an answer that makes sense: TinyCo said if I was running the game on so called “older” versions of certain devices (fi: I play on an iPad mini, which is apparently old). In other words, if you want the game to run efficiently you must have the absolute latest version of whichever devices you are using. They did suggest playing within Facebook (which I’ve found much slower, but at least a viable option) and that they are trying to reduce the memory requirements of their game. These guys are still going through growing pains. Hope they get it together soon.

Actually, all I had to do was force stop my game. I had deleted every single app that I could, besides fam guy, and it still was crashing until I did that. Thank you, though, Bunny. I bad done all of the other troubleshooting things and none worked. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and Nada.

Honesty time here, is there any way to enjoy this event freemium style?

My honest opinion… do NOT expect to get it all. Play the game in the mindset of “what CAN I get” and just play. If you get something, awesome… if not, no big deal. Just play it to see how far you arrive or set small goals. NEVER EVER EVER try to think of anything other than “what can I get today for free” and see where it takes you.
I find with the complexities of this game that Players become most frustrated when they assume they WILL get it all or try to do the math based on today’s stats. It never works out. The game is steps & phases and every changing as they do slow releases on everything.
Short story long, if you want a simple game…. this may not be for you unless you step away from the normal assumptions of games and how they work. This one will ALWAYS keep you on your toes and be all over the place. The OTHER game we write on is more simple (tap this, go here, do that). That’s my honest opinion.

Hi Bunny I have only been playing this game for a little while and find your posts very helpful, I have recently come sound to your way of thinking. The only event so far which I won everything was thanksgiving, which was really good. In Star Trek I finished a little disappointed because there were things I would have liked and didn’t get. Then I thought about it. I won four skins, five buildings lots of decorations and five characters. FIVE. No I didn’t get everything. No I didn’t get get anywhere near the leaderboard. But it was still a great outcome for me in a two week event (I didn’t play the first Star Trek event)which I’m really happy with and I’m sure this one will be the same.

Yes, but it is not a game of chance for all the hard work you put in. I think if you earn it you should get it not have to build the character after. Wonder how many would put in a full day of work to get a chance to get a paycheck. Freemium players really don’t have a chance any more. That is why I put my money toward the tap tap tap game. I see something for my efforts. I don’t have to go in and click on a 2 hour task to get nothing in return. It seems different servers have better odds. Is there any info on the old lady’s shoe?

I found it. Had to buy with beans or something. Will never see any of it though since I can’t get arrows to do archery. My husbands game drops everything all the time, no matter what storyline. Mine drops nothing. He is freemium too. I just don’t get the drops. I only play to give him someone to visit. All the other 15 people left game. When I used search feature, I only got websites for shoes. Lol My husband finally figured where he got it.

The trick I always find is to keep progressing along the assumed quest line when you are stuck. For example with this one, I was stuck (still am) getting both peter but went ahead and got Wesley’s house so I could start earning parts to unlock him as well. Took another day before I got to that quest line point but then it was already done and you move right on. Only time this doesn’t work is with required ‘now’ tasks. Buy ahead items are always a good option to help later progress though.

I do agree with Bunny. This game is anything but normal and approaching it as you would a normal game is tantamount to insanity. While I’m often quoted as saying normal is a matter of perception, this game is a much different animal. Businesses are in business to make money, and not all business models are the same. That is to say, not all gamehouses are created equal. If the game style is not to your liking, it may not be the game for you. I have pushed and prodded on TinyCo to get it right only to realize that all their “as intended” messages had merit. Now, while I may not agree with the concepts behind their business, I cannot fault them for doing everything in their power to make money. In the end, the means are justified and the vc’s are happy. Players keep playing so there is a point to continuing to produce the product with the same business model. If you’re still playing as most of us are, just know what you’re working with before getting upset and fanning the fires. Nuff said.

I thought new stuff might unlock during the week as we raised our honor level, but I guess its similar to the scream level from Halloween… Its only real use is to unlock next weeks content after it is released?
I have sent peter to archer practice 3 times and have gotten no swords even though the graph says high chance.. Is this right?

Opinions plz. I have 600 clams to spend on this event. How do I get the biggest bang for my buck – in order to get through the entire quest line? I’m debating The Black Knight and the 50-bean dropper. Thanks!

Black Knight so far will help with Arrows and the Potions. Each of his tasks also drops HP & Beans. Won’t know what else is coming til more phases launch. So you may want to spread it out as we still have a month in the Event roughly. 🙂

Don’t bother with the 50 bean dropper. You’ll get so many beans from slaying dragons. You won’t know what to do with them all.

I would DEFINITELY get The Black Knight. I haven’t seen that dragon in a while but I believe The Black Knight is the only one that can get potions (which you need to fight the dragon) until you unlock Sir Peter and Wesley.

Hmmmmm…. I would say maybe the house to help with items in Archery. With Gypsy Wagon dropping every 24hrs and other items… you should recoup those Beans soon.

Got a clarification back from TC about the Old Lady Shoe House. IOS version does NOT drop arrows “always” as was indicated earlier. They have corrected the items menu to just drop.

Anyone know the spawn rate for Knights in Training? The timer that shows my Knights says 24 hours before two more will spawn! It’s at 23 hour 56 mins now, lol. It cannot be two every 24 hours, but it also says speed up for only 4 clams. Glitch in timer? Anyone else seeing this?

It will vary. Where you see it is your rate. Some may show sooner than others.

I’m sure mine are spawning faster than that. I’ve tapped at least 12, maybe more, since this morning (Friday). They seem to come in threes for me. Have seen up to six at a time, that might have been accumulation of two spawns. You should ask about it in-game.

They spawn 2 every hour. I think the max is like 8.

What timer? The only timer I see is the one for the dragon? But I agree with the others, they definitely spawn once every two hours, I think two of them up to a max of eight. So if you log on once every eight hours the full eight should be there…

Erg! Collected all the arrows necessary to send Peter TWICE to archery training and didn’t get that golden egg. Trying for a third time to collect the arrows, and then another 6-hour quest to try for a golden egg. Really don’t want to drop 83 clams for the jousting area.

I contacted TC in-game about whether or not the Black Knight will be voiced and if he will be voiced by Will Ferrell as he is in the show, and they said, “Haha, I wish! That would be awesome!”
So, no voiced Black Knight and for such a high cost of clams I won’t be purchasing him although I REEEEAAAAALLLYY want to have him in my game. 😓😭😢

Look at the main post next to magic beans. You’ll see them listed. Otherwise the questline drops a few for that task part only then goes away.

I placed all the rooms from the enterprise as they dropped beans, but now the rooms are gone and buildings like the borg cube no longer drop beans, but the turbolift is in my game and drops 60 beans but is just one small square and cant see it. There is nothing in my inventory but the replicator which when i go to place is says error cannot find item.

The rooms were an oops from what info I go, and the Turbolift shouldn’t be placeable. You can message them about it if you would like.

Finishing off the Startrek character quests also gives beans rather than antimatter (or coins), but only a few for each step in the quest line. But still, better than useless coins 🙂

I am having the same issue with the turbo lift. But I can’t move it or place it in my inventory. It’s stuck in that spot. All I can do is click to collect.

Were characters like Deanna Troi and Beverly Crusher supposed to leave along with the Enterprise when the Star Trek event closed? I unlocked them both along with Locutus during the event, but Locutus is the only one in my Quahog now. The other two are in my FaceSpace but don’t show up in town or on the character picker in the top left, and their FaceSpace profile doesn’t auto-move to their location when I close it like it does with other characters.

Did you check Inventory Storage under the Characters tab? If they were on Enterprise busy, most likely dumped there when event ended.

That’s what happened to me, so definitely check the inventory, I found them all there. One bit of pain is that all their tasks were stopped, e.g. I had Herbert on his 24h task and nearly done by the time the event ended but now he has to start it again. But I guess it’s the only way how they can remove the play areas…

Looks like this evemt isn’t compatible with my device -.-. It sent me to the Apple store to update even though I’m on Android. When I found it on the play store not compatible..sigh. I’m on a droid turbo.

Much sadness.
This is an event that I would love to play. Princess Bride is just the best. But, I’m retired swearing to never again part with money for clams, but something in this event would tempt me to pay and then the slippery slope begins again.

Funny glitch – clicked on killing one of the grey guys in Sir Peter’s unlock tasks. It took me to the South Pole by way of Enterprise. Wish I had gotten a screen shot.

Seems like a nice event, just wish they’d done the whole castle part as a separate area like the Enterprise.

LOTS of work and possible issues going into separate Play Field. Much easier when in Quahog. Nice for us… not so nice for them to code. 😉

Has anyone else been having the “Connection Lost” problem? For the last 24 hours I have been getting this problem. I’m not sure if it’s an isolated case or if multiple people have been experiencing this same problem. My game will sometimes connect and let me play for a minute before dropping and having Consuela say “No..No es no…”

I only saw it for like 5 mins as they changed from Star Trek to A Grimm Event. Other than that… if you are seeing it ongoing 24hrs… something else is going on. Try some basics.

Yeah, I keep having intermittent connection issues as well. Cannot connect to server, but my wifi signal is strong and other devices aren’t having connection issues.
