Hey there Clammers!
Today at 3pm Pacific, Return to Jolly Farm will come to a close. Followed closely by a New Event.
Most of you by now have seen the prep work for the New Event hitting your App Markets in the form of Version 1.23.0 (on iOS & Google so far, let me know if you see it Amazon Users). Make sure you load it in prep for when the New Content actually hits later this evening. (I will put up a Live post when it does finally hit, nothing for now.)
Gods, have mercy! Peter desecrated a sacred fountain and now Zeus, the king of Gods, seeks to teach him and Quahog a lesson. He’s even brought Hades, Neptune, Athena, and Aphrodite to help him. Will Peter and his fraternity of brothers be able to survive the wrath of the gods? Find out during our special Greek Life event!

So wrap up all your collecting as anything not unlocked or purchased by 3pm Pacific… will go when Return to Jolly Farm Ends and is pulled from the game.

Updating my game right now after my brother pointed out the new event to me.
He also told me that apparently there’s a building called the Palace of Olympus that drops 14 clams each day. I asked to take a look at the description in his game, but couldn’t find anything about if there’s a time limit. I know it’s still early, so I understand if the answer is no, but does anyone know yet if the Palace of Olympus is a permanent 14 clams per day or an Event Duration Only 14 clams per day?
(I feel like it’s probably Event Duration Only, because permanent clams per day seems too good to be true.)

It’s a good deal, since it’s a nice building and it pays for itself within two and a half weeks. After that, 14 clams a day during the rest of the event with just one collection needed. I set an alarm…

The new event has just hit for me. Is the splash screen supposed to be half old and half new? On mine Stewie, Lois and Quagmire haven’t changed but the others have. Just curious ☺.

Poseidon/Neptune was in an episode called “A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Bucks” and Joe dressed as him in an episode called “Be Careful what you Fish For” (Great episode). If they do the latter, then maybe they’ll add Billy Finn, that’d be nice.
According to the “What’s New?” in the Google Play store, names include Zeus (maybe a final prize character like God?), Neptune, Athena, Aphrodite (Perhaps a Connie/Bonnie Costume?) and Hades
It would be cool if Hades was a skin for James Woods, and then add James Woods
The following info is from the back of my mind from 7th grade History and English Classes, a very long time ago:
Meg could be Hephaestus because Hephaestus is ugly or Ares because all other Gods hated Ares
Connie could be Aphrodite because Aphrodite was the most attractive, and we have few costumes for her
Maybe add Joseph from Joseph and the Argonauts or the main character from Clash of the Titans
Lois as Hestia because Hestia was the goddess of the home and Lois is more often than not a housewife
Cupid was a God for he Romans, so he might return
If Apollo appears, he could have a quest line where he mediates between the Roman Gods and the Greek Gods
There could be Pontius Pilate and Judas Iscariot and Jesus once again a premium return
Vulcan was a Roman god so hey Spock returns… again
A Mystery Box called Pandora’s box is inevitable, the pun is right there. So add some good stuff and bad stuff (like +1000 currency or -1000 currency). That might make it interesting

Def. excited about this one. Looks like I’ll be buying clams for premium characters as this mixes two of my favorite things, family guy and Greek mythology. Can’t wait 🙂

Lol, so true, I’m dreading my ASD son seeing this mistake – I’ll get a lecture about Posiedon and how the Romans stole their mythology from the Greeks. Atleast he knows what he’s talking about. 🙂

Okay, I’m muddling through my inventory this last week, so it wasn’t so hard to find these in my highly decorated quadrants now … Agador Farticus, Acrapolis, and Gyro Truck. I DON’T currently own Groff Community College and I REALLY wish I did. The Brandenburg Gate was a bit too non-Greek…
Anybody else think of any other currently very Greek related areas or things?
Really hope they play up the Greek Life thing with not just gods and goddesses, but also with college frat stuff. That’s a huge part of the Family Guy watcher/player base methinks. 🙂

I’m hoping for Kratos from God of War as an unlockable character.

After Spock, Kratos may be one of my fastest bought and most wanted Premiuims. NEXT to get a cooking special so they can SOMEHOWWWWWWWW get Alton Brown as a Premium Character. I’d take out a loan to get him as a character.
I don’t think Sony will let Kratos go though. Excellent thought, though. 🙂
