The Greek Life is upon us and with it some pretty cool New Stuffs to Stuff into our Stuffed Game of Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. And Stuff!

First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be updated to App Market Version 1.23.0 (live on iOS and Google so far, let me know if you see it on Amazon and Facebook)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more
TIMER WARNING: Zeus is in the University Store. You will have 7 days to unlock him. If you do not unlock him in 7 days, he will go from the game. I will have more on this in a bit and further details as I play through it… just wanted to give you a heads up. This means ANY tap at all on the University Store. Even if it is your first tap just to see what is in there.

Similar to every Event, these are the points you will want to earn to increase your Game Play Level and be able to move on to the next Phase. Rush Levels will need to hit a certain amount every Thursday to update the Fountain. I will note the Rush Level needed for each Level as the information becomes available.
You can also tap on the Fountain to see when the Next “Bad guy Squatter” will spawn into your town and how many.

Capacity: Is the MAX amount of Offerings you can be creating in Queue and have completed in the game. My game started with a MAX Capacity of 8
Queue: Is how many Offerings you can make at one time up until you reach your Capacity MAX. My game started with a Queue of 6

CENTAURS
This will essentially be your first “Bad Guy Squatter” you will need to take out in Phase One to help you earn Materials needed for the Event. Centaurs will begin appearing around Greek Week Pt. 2.
Centaurs: Require 1 Ambrosia Offering to clear it
Similar to Squatters of the past, you will need to place the Ambrosia Offering in FRONT of the Centaur and ensure the Centaur turns purple. Once the Centaur turns Purple, place the offering by tapping the Check Mark. PURPLE = KILL. Again, make sure it is walking INTO the Kill Zone Circle AND he turns Purple before you place the item by tapping the Check Mark.
If the Centaur walks out of the Circle and is no longer Purple, wait. Move the Offering until it is in FRONT of the Centaur again and wait for it to turn Purple to tap the Check Mark.

ZEUS OFFERINGS/BATTLE
Get to Greek Week Part 5. I repeat Get to Greek Week Part 5. This will not unlock until you reach Get to Greek Week Part 5. So… Get to Greek Week Part 5.
Zeus in a way will be similar to a “Boss Battle”. Essentially you will keep Crafting Lightning Offerings in the Campus Altar to give to Zeus to make him happy. He will appear on his Throne in the Event area once you reach Greek Week Part 5.
You will have a specific amount you need to give him for each of his levels. You will have 24hrs to hit his HIGHEST level to gain the biggest rewards. After 24hrs, it will reset to the bottom Level 1 again.
In short, collect Lightning Offerings until you have enough for the Requirements for Zeus. Tap the “OFFER” button to give them to him. Wait for your Reward. Move up a Level.
As this WILL take time, I would suggest you might want to save up a few to clear as many Levels on him as you can and get the best rewards. Don’t stress if you can’t hit the highest level right away, it will take time as you continue to play through the Event and earn them faster.
Here are the Levels I saw in MY Game. Yours may vary.
1X Level
Cost: 2 Lightning Spells
Reward: 8 Ambrosia & 1 Golden Apple
2X Level
Cost: 4 Lightning Spells
Reward: 16 Ambrosia & 2 Golden Apples
3X Level
Cost: 6 Lightning Spells
Reward: 24 Ambrosia & 3 Golden Apples
4X Level
Cost: 8 Lightning Spells
Reward: 32 Ambrosia & 4 Golden Apples
At this point, he will go into Cool Down. You can pay Clams to start battling him again immediately. Still verifying Cool Down time frame. Will update once I know.
There you have it, the basic overview of what is in store for you this first week of the New Greek Life Event. I have a lil more to go through and I will update this post once I do, but this should get you started anyway. Take your time getting used to it all. Don’t let stress cause you panic and make you regret purchase. PLAY THE GAME. See where you are in a couple of days. 🙂

Decided to throw in an additional €2,- to buy the Palace, considering I was on just 200+ clams. Was doubting to do so right after the event started so I did waste 14 Clams, but so be it. For what it’s worth, there is an initial payout.
I’ve been reasoning that if these buildings are always available during longer events for about 200 or 250 Clams and you make about half profit, then you’re able to spend that profit and buy the similar kind of building the next event, or better, spend the profit only partially and keep increasing your Clam count :). That holds up, of course, till the point where there is no event, or no such building ;). In this case if it doesn’t hold up, I’ll get ~180 Clams for €2,- which is a good deal.

Bunny, here’s another non-game-play error that’s yet to be fixed by TinyCo. They did update the Temple of Hades to the correct god (I forget who they had before). The Temple of Neptune is incorrect still. It should be the Temple of Poseidon. It’s be a glaring error if Neptune becomes a playable character, unless that winds up being the joke: not being able to use the term “Poseidon”.

Just as an observation / FYI for those who were trying to not trigger the 7 day timer for Zeus, when you get to the part in the quest line where the pop-up says to “check out the University store” even if you purposely do not click the “go” button and just close it out it still activates Zeus’s timer at that time. I realized it when I went back to check the other needs for that part of the quest line and realized there was a check next to check out University store even though I never opened the store through the quest line or by clicking the building itself in the event area. So it seems this is a forced start timer for him regardless of how hard you try to make it wait. I’m not horribly upset over it as I didn’t intend to get him, thought I’d try and wait a bit until I was able to start Zeus battles before clicking the store for the first time. Oh well!
Also, is anyone else not getting any sandals for Peter’s costume from centaurs? I’ve cleared about 10 so far and not gotten a single sandal yet. With 27 needed for the costume and Peter being only one of two possible ways to get lightning spells for Zeus battles this seems like it’s going to be the hold up of this week at least in my game so far. I’m collecting all the other needed items for the Peter costume easily, I’ve got almost half of the other needed items except the ambrosia of course because I’m using it up to get buildings and for centaurs at this point in time.

They are rare item so won’t drop all the time. They vary. At times I’ll get one out of several. Other times I’ll get 3 out of 4.

Not really enjoying any of the full events lately they dont seem put together well. You have to use the same items to get different things and difficult to get other things without using clams which I will not do. Been playing for about a 1yr.1/2 maybe longer and the last event that was enjoyable was the christmas one . I rock mini events with plenty time to spare and love the Tan lines but if you just wanted to work tan lines that gets interfered with by the event. Oh well ,just gonna play and I get what I get and hopefully the event comes together ,once I get Peter battling Zeus will become easier. Thank you Bunny for your site it guides my game play along and I then share with the husband . Good luck to all in your game.

so it seems to me that the Zeus “multiplier” doesnt actually give any additional rewards. the amount you have to pay multiplies the same as the rewards so is there really a point to saving up to get the higher multiplier? or should we just claim them as we can since the cost/reward ratio appears to be the same based on what you posted.

I think I got a good tactic for myself for this first phase. I’ve spent 100 clams for Zeus’s Fraternity House and so I get 1 Lightning Spell every 4 hours and 1 every 6 hours from Bruce. That means I get between 6-8 LS a day. To defeat Zeus 4 times you need 20 LS and I hope I can get them in 3 days. By defeating Zeus 4 times you get 10 golden apples and I want to buy the two LS buildings and the Laurel Crowns building. Then I can begin collecting more LS, but it will go quicker with 2 more dropping buildings. My only concern is the crafting of the Lightning Spells.

Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post but I was looking for a little help. I just started the game over again awhile back and I am currently stuck in district 7 on the Lois task to build the aweful person hattery. The problem is the district 7 buildings are locked still for some reason and I have completed all the required tasks up to that point with no way to progress further without that building. Any thoughts would be appreciated, already contacted tinyco with no response. Also I am not able to remove any of the jolly farm buildings from the recent event, it says they are too important to remove even though the event is over. Thanks again

This has also happened to both my wife and I, we recently started playing the game. The Video Arcade was unlocked when opening Asia town but Dansu Dansu and Awful Person Hattery have not. One Hot Mama 2 quest asks to build the latter. Similarly no response from Tiny Co though we are in UK

UPDATE: had a response back from Tiny Co. Saying their team are currently looking into issues with these buildings (Dansu Dansu and Hattery)
Hopefully, we’ll get a fix for this soon.

Zeus doesn’t look to be that hard to get. All you have to get is the Gazebo and Pottery 101 buildings, and recycle all Ambrosia into taking down Centaurs. In under 24 hours just by doing that I’m looking at close to 500 Ambrosia.
The Golden Apples look to be the only major hurdle with a total of 15 needed for all three. You should at a minimum get 3 a day, so that should give you roughly 21 Apples total for the first week, which is more than enough for all 3 items.

It looks like TinyCo still had that lame mystery time for Zeus like the dragons for the Fairy Tale event, so my initial analysis doesn’t work. Its been close to 12 hours since Zeus left my game.
The only way I to get Zeus now is to 100% focus on him with just Bruce getting Lightning Spells to convert to Golden Apples. You need 20 Spells to go through all for Levels of Zeus for the 10 Apples, which can be done in a week. You can get 28 Spells through Bruce alone in a week, so its doable.
I know there’s most likely an easier way to do it with the buildings, but the problem is we don’t know when Zeus will return. When he shows up say on a late Tues/early Wed there should be enough Scrolls in storage to take him down.

I love that my brain damaged horse finally has some other horses to run around with. He seems happier now. He’s prancing and dancing all over the place.
I worked out the math and it looks like zeus is possible with centaur Joe’s help on golden apples. This is the first event i ever did math for, other than clam subtraction and addition. Hopefully my math is correct.

I was hoping TC would take a week off from these events so I can do other things, especially so soon after the major Boomsday Event that had me spend a boatload of clams to get everything/finish it up. With the weather getting warmer, the clams I’ve already spent on that event, and getting (virtually) slapped in the face when the first thing I see for this event (buy Centaur Joe, only 200+ clams!) … what else can I say, but meh. This event, and this game, are going to become low priority for me very quickly. Hope the rest of you enjoy.

I have to say I am having event fatigue as well now. This is the tenth event that is basically the same, just different colours and themes. I think I will not be very keen to push on with this. They really need to invent something new 😉

Event fatigue is a good way to put it. This event seems a bit more insane than Boomsday though, in so much that you need these->to get that->to get this->to get that. It’s a little ridiculous. If I don’t get everything in this event, I won’t be heartbroken, apparently TC seems content to just keep trotting out events and not giving us a break, so I’m not going to go out of my way this time.

Hey Bunny! Hope you are feeling better. (Still going to throw a lot of positive healing energy your way until I hear you no longer need it!)
I like the theme of this event, and I still had my maze up from the last one, so that saved some time! *chuckle* Other than the Griffin house skin, that I had to buy to get to level 5, I will only purchase the buildings with drops. I am going to pass on Zeus, so I have a leg up on getting the material dropping buildings in the next phase. At least, unlike Boomtown, the character tasks earn event currency and and rush points, so that may make things move a little smoother, with less chance of so many people getting stuck on needing rush points to level up.

I found some other characters that will drop Ambrosia: Chris, Bruce, Mort, Jerome. There may be more, but I only started with the “main” characters when I pulled them out of Tan Lines. Maybe others will find more.

Im curious too. I saw mayor west has a rush points task. I think im just gonna have to pull everyone from tan lines then put them back after checking.

I know Facebook is often on a later start so not freaking out this very moment it appears facebook users are getting can`t connect to server errors like myself and viewing the app page it seems it`s all of them, I really hope they fix this before morning

The “unlock the items in whatever order you want” style seems better than the “unlock everything in order” approach, BUT let’s not forget how impossible it became to keep up with the Grimm Knight event after the first couple weeks. Hopefully they’ve rebalanced things a bit this time – fingers crossed.

It depends on how you focus what you earn. Some may put importance on an item not critical. I would say Zeus, though great, is not Critical. The Buildings to help with drops would be… so I would get them first. 😉

I really want Zeus, but hit a 24 hour timer on him so it looks like I’ll be picking him up from the end of year mystery box.

For him… or just the Questline to unlock him? Those are timed so they go away and don’t clog up your Task bar.

If you collect EVERY time it is ready and stay on top of it… yes.
For instance, if you collect 27 days @ 14 Clams each day = 378 Clams.
You will end up with MORE Clams by the end of the Event if you don’t mind the initial investment

As Bunny says, if you make it work, it’s a net gain in clams. But you should make the decision sooner rather than later – every day that goes by, the return on investment diminishes. I like the fact Palace is on a 24 hours schedule for 14 clams unlike the Unstable Reactor Core which was on a 12 hour schedule for 6 clams.

Wait did I miss something? In order to get golden apples, you need Zeus. But in order to get Zeus you need golden apples. The only other way to get them is to get centaur Joe which costs 270 clams? Is there another way to get apples that I didn’t see?

Yes… Keep playing Questline. There is a DIFFERENT Zeus at part 5. Like a boss Battle.

Yeah, having Zeus as a “dragon” to battle, and a character to unlock is a bit confusing. They’d be better off if they made the dragon into Cronus, a Titan, or some other enemy of Zeus (who you unlock as an ally).

Palace of Olympus cost 250 clams. It says its drops 14 clams a day. is this til a certain date or is this forever? I know there have been previous buildings that drop clams but usually til the event ends. It usually says somewhere in game til certain date.

Warning: Buy the University first. Don’t buy the column before the university. I’m stuck now without a way to get “ambrosia’s” and the game can’t progress. Don’t get yourself in that hole like me, hopefully TinyCo responds soon this is definitely no fun.

Yeah, I did the same thing and couldn’t buy the University for the first 24 hours of the event 😦 I feel like I’m behind already, although everything is moving along nicely now

Wow! Unlike other events where you have to unlock items in order and the timed one being at the end, as soon as you open the university store the seven day timer for Zeus starts. I wish TC would just stick to a particular method 😢

Well technically, that “HARD” one usually takes a week to get to and you only have 24hrs. A bit different…yes.

The cool part was you didn’t have to go in order. I went for Zeus first and then the buildings. Also when you have to gift Zeus with lighting he’s called the dragon. Glitch or not? He has four levels and gives golden apples which helps.

I don’t even know how I clicked the university store but when I went back in there by accident again it said I had 5days 14 hours and 8 mins to get Zeus. I do not understand why Tinyco make it so easy to start off timers. I think it is really unfair as we work hard to actually get the character so why do some of us have to miss out when a quest line always automatically takes us to it. It’s frustrating and I think mean😩

Absolutely ridiculous that the Zeus timer kicks off as soon as you hit the store once. I was trying to get the characters on the wreaths and hit the one that’s in the store, which sent me to the store. Not that I was likely to get him anyway, but, that’s just stupid.

Totally agree. But it is what it is. I don’t play for like a day and a half every week. I was expecting a timer but I thought it would be locked like before. None of the buildings seem essential right now. I had NO idea what that building was when I clicked it and I saw the timer. I don’t even care about the timers anymore. It will be what it will be!!

Just concentrate on the buildings that get you Golden Apples (via the Lightning Spells), and you should be able to get him in time. Ambrosia generates pretty quickly, given all the tasks and quests that generate it and the 10 net gain each hour from the Centaurs. As long as the tasks pay the building costs (which they should more than do), you should be able to get the required 1000 Ambrosia in a bit over 4 days.

Hmm…in the event home page, the Medium Ambrosia Fountain is listed at 200 clams, but when you click on the icon, it takes you to the store where is actually costs 400 clams…the Small Ambrosia Fountain is 200 clams…just an observation…

Yeah, I saw the same thing. I think it’s fixed now.
That Large fountain is pretty tempting… except it’s 700 clams lol.
600 ambrosia every 8 hours is tempting.
I’m doing fine with the small fountain though. Always take a running start at the events with purhcases up front. Unlock/buy a character or two, a few buildings, and its amazing how quick you can then free-play out the rest of the month while always being one step ahead.
Currently have all buildings, characters, and all quest lines done up to unlocking Toga Peter… which should be done tonight. Rush level 8…. and thursday is 4 days out still…. decent hoard of apples in storage as well (though it’s impossible to tell how many I think).
