First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be updated to App Market Version 1.23.0 (live on iOS and Google so far, let me know if you see it on Amazon and Facebook)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more
TIMER WARNING: Zeus is in the University Store. You will have 7 days to unlock him. If you do not unlock him in 7 days, he will go from the game. I will have more on this in a bit and further details as I play through it… just wanted to give you a heads up. This means ANY tap at all on the University Store. Even if it is your first tap just to see what is in there.
Back with more in a bit……

Zeus: +130RP on unlock, Fully Tasked (all drop Ambrosia & RP), Not currently Voiced, Comes with Questline, Always drops 1 Lightning Spell (6hrs)
Cost
1000 Ambrosia
10 Golden Apples
CAMPUS ALTAR
Located Top Right of Event Area. Similar to past events, this is kind of like the creating weapons to use on “Bad Guys” location. You will have a Capacity and a Queue again. “Offerings” can only be used once and then they are gone.
Capacity: Is the MAX amount of Offerings you can be creating in Queue and have completed in the game. My game started with a MAX Capacity of 8
Queue: Is how many Offerings you can make at one time up until you reach your Capacity MAX. My game started with a Queue of 6
Here are some of the Offerings you will see…
Ambrosia Offering: Requires 15 Ambrosia and 1 hr Each to Craft
Ambrosia: Ambrosia Fountains OR Questlines OR Make Offering to Gods OR Clear Squatters OR Peter Anger the Gods OR Quagmire Enjoy Getting Paddled OR Lois Confuse Satyr with Sedars OR Mayor West Offer Oranges to the Gods OR Bonnie Ride a Centaur
Lightning Offering (Greek Week Part 5): Requires 1 Lightning Spell and 45 mins Each to Craft
Lightning Spell (Greek Week Part 5): Bruce Make Bathtub Ambrosia OR Toga Peter Go Commando OR Pottery 101 (University Store) OR Greek Gazebo (University Store) OR Zeus’ Fraternity House OR
CENTAURS
This will essentially be your first “Bad Guy Squatter” you will need to take out in Phase One to help you earn Materials needed for the Event. Centaurs will begin appearing around Greek Week Pt. 2.
Centaurs: Require 1 Ambrosia Offering to clear it
Similar to Squatters of the past, you will need to place the Ambrosia Offering in FRONT of the Centaur and ensure the Centaur turns purple. Once the Centaur turns Purple, place the offering by tapping the Check Mark. PURPLE = KILL. Again, make sure it is walking INTO the Kill Zone Circle AND he turns Purple before you place the item by tapping the Check Mark.
If the Centaur walks out of the Circle and is no longer Purple, wait. Move the Offering until it is in FRONT of the Centaur again and wait for it to turn Purple to tap the Check Mark.
Reward: Chance Of…
+25 Ambrosia
+1 Lace-Up Sandal
ZEUS OFFERINGS/BATTLE
Get to Greek Week Part 5. I repeat Get to Greek Week Part 5. This will not unlock until you reach Get to Greek Week Part 5. So… Get to Greek Week Part 5.
Zeus in a way will be similar to a “Boss Battle”. Essentially you will keep Crafting Lightning Offerings in the Campus Altar to give to Zeus to make him happy. He will appear on his Throne in the Event area once you reach Greek Week Part 5.
You will have a specific amount you need to give him for each of his levels. You will have 24hrs to hit his HIGHEST level to gain the biggest rewards. After 24hrs, it will reset to the bottom Level 1 again.
In short, collect Lightning Offerings until you have enough for the Requirements for Zeus. Tap the “OFFER” button to give them to him. Wait for your Reward. Move up a Level.
As this WILL take time, I would suggest you might want to save up a few to clear as many Levels on him as you can and get the best rewards. Don’t stress if you can’t hit the highest level right away, it will take time as you continue to play through the Event and earn them faster.
Here are the Levels I saw in MY Game. Yours may vary.
1X Level
Cost: 2 Lightning Spells
Reward: 8 Ambrosia & 1 Golden Apple
2X Level
Cost: 4 Lightning Spells
Reward: 16 Ambrosia & 2 Golden Apples
3X Level
Cost: 6 Lightning Spells
Reward: 24 Ambrosia & 3 Golden Apples
4X Level
Cost: 8 Lightning Spells
Reward: 32 Ambrosia & 4 Golden Apples
At this point, he will go into Cool Down. You can pay Clams to start battling him again immediately. Still verifying Cool Down time frame. Will update once I know.
There you have it, the basic overview of what is in store for you this first week of the New Greek Life Event. I have a lil more to go through and I will update this post once I do, but this should get you started anyway. Take your time getting used to it all. Don’t let stress cause you panic and make you regret purchase. PLAY THE GAME. See where you are in a couple of days. 🙂
What do you think of it so far? How is your Ambrosia Collecting going? Like the “I can pick” option in the Store? Tips for other Players? Let us know.

Ok, I have a DIFFERENT golden apple issue. I see a catch 22 with lightning scrolls. The only way to get lightning scrolls is a building. The building requires ambrosia and golden apples. The golden apples require battling Zeus. Battling Zeus requires lightnight scrolls. The only way to get lightning scrolls…
How do I get lightning scrolls to attack Zeus to get the golden apple it takes to get the building that drops the scrolls??

Do we have to collect any or all of the buildings? I don’t really care for them and would rather just collect for Zeus. Would I be able to advance to week 2 if I skip everything but Zeus?

The first 2 buildings and the last one are part of the main questline. I would recomend getting all but the one that drops stuff just because they will help you get further. I got the first building and the 2 buildings that help with lightning, ill be getting zeus next, then I’ll get the last 2 buildings.

As is now compulsory with each event, we have one item that is barely dropping as it should. Paddles! I have had ONE in 15 combined attempts. Compare that to the 7 wreaths I have managed to gather so far, which are also rare. Anybody else having similar results?
On another note, Neptune is the ROMAN God of the seas. Poseidon is the GREEK one. Think TinyCo need to brush up on their mythology!

So what’s the point in “saving up” your offerings to Zeus? The 1x reward is exactly the same ratio as the 4x reward (it doesn’t scale or give extra bonus). It seems like you’d want to make offerings as soon as you can, so that you don’t get bottlenecked if you have more than 4 to offer…

Don’t forget to tap on the golden paddle icon in the task list for the What a Rush questline. It just guides you through the rush levels but gives you a free clam for each level reached. It doesn’t do it automatically, at least until you first trigger it. I didn’t notice it until I reached level 4 and it took me through each part of the quest at that point, giving me a clam for each level I had already reached.

Actually, Zeus looks like he won’t be all that difficult, as long as there’s not a huge hiatus between Offering appearances. Once you get the first building that drops the Lightning Spells, you should be able to turn out one Lightning Offering every six hours. Once you get the second building, that goes up to three every twelve hours. If you make six of them (leaving two spaces to make Ambrosia Offerings) and stockpile enough Spells, you should have no problem making the additional fourteen in time to get a full twenty Lightning Offerings in the 24hr period, which will get you the requisite ten Apples. The Ambrosia will take care of itself, since you should have little problem maintaining a net of 10 Ambrosia every hour based on Centaurs alone (not even counting activity or task rewards).
LikeLike
My only annoyance is that it’s impossible to get that first Lightning Spell building in the first 24hr window without spending Clams. You’d have to send Bruce on his task six times, and given that it’s a 6hr task, that ain’t happening.
Should be able to do it in the second window, though.

Been doing some rough calculations on Zeus; I’ve started Zeus’ countdown as late as was event-logical, when getting Phi Beta Gryphon for the questline. Now he’s on 6 days and 16 hours left.
The limiting factor does not seem to be Ambrosia. A day into the event and I had 250+, converting most now into Ambrosia offerings. Given that offerings have a 10 Ambrosia profit, and I was already up to 250, getting 1000 in 6 days should not actually be a challenge.
With regards to Golden Apples: I still have to give my first offering to Zeus so for his first spawn the maximum will be one apple; the second spawn will be at least the second to buy the Gazebo. From there on out you can create 2 Lightning offerings/6 hours = 8 per day, so you could stock up and get a full swing at Zeus the next time he comes around. That’s 10 Apples right there; which means you can buy Zeus.
Tl;dr, if Zeus spawns three times within a 6-day time window getting Zeus should be quite possible.
LikeLike
Yeah, good luck with that! It took me 24 hours to get 4 lightning. I need 6 to make 2 offerings as it’s 2 for the first and then 4 for the second (2 x multiplier). You only get 1 apple per offering. So I’m looking at 1, possibly 2, apples per offering day… but due to the 24 hour cool-down you can only make offerings every second day i.e. an average of 1 per day. So 10 apples will take me 10 days… with 4.5 days left, it’s impossible. I bought the gazebo thing, which always drops the lightning things… so hopefully my rate will increase. I have more than enough ambrosia… apples are the limiting factor
LikeLike
Since the Lightning Spell drop rate doubles once you get the Greek Gazebo, I was able to save up 4 Lightning Offerings before the second Zeus appearance (with a fifth in the queue) and get the Gazebo first thing during that second appearance. The second set of Offerings got me another two Golden Apples, and since I had about 16hr left in the second appearance, I opted to speed up one Gazebo collection (6 Clams) so I would have 6 more Lightning Spell collection opportunities before Zeus left, with a couple hours’ leeway to turn those last two into Lightning Offerings and get three more Golden Apples (building that last Lightning Offering as we speak) in order to buy Pottery 101. Getting all 10 Apples each appearance should be a cakewalk now, and Ambrosia takes care of itself, between character tasks, building drops, and Centaur clears.

Sorry for the very late reply – your comment helped me a lot though. I forgot that I could rush such things, and it was actually quite cheap to do so. I was able to get Zeus with a day to spare, which was great. I have no idea how I’m going to get Hades though!

What is strategy if i want to unlock zeus? And toga peter? Both requires a lot of ambrosia. But my earn rate is slow after sending 4 characters. Yet i also need to make offerings to kill bad guys. Maths does not seem to add up even if i target either one zeus or peter. I also dont get any apple drops. So much to do but no time. Panic!

Part 5 will help as Zeus battle will help. Otherwise just round the clock character tasks to build up Ambrosia.

Concentrate primarily on sending Bruce to get Lightning Spells, but also buy (and use) as many Ambrosia Offerings as you can to clear Centaurs. You gain a net 10 Ambrosia for each one you build and use, so don’t worry about the cost. You should be able to get one pair of Lightning Offerings done in the first 24hr Zeus window, in order to fulfil the quest task, but keep Bruce at it, and try to have as many as you can made (but no more than 6 or 7) by the time the window opens up again. In the meantime, try to time it so that your Ambrosia Offering queue is empty at the same time that Bruce drops a Lightning Spell, so you can queue that up (again, don’t make more than 6 or 7, so that you can still have a constant stream of Ambrosia Offerings). Once you offer that second set of Lightning Offerings (the first one in the second window, unless you spent Clams), you should have the two Golden Apples you need to get the Greek Gazebo, which will give you a second Lightning Spell source. If you can get three sets of Lightning Offerings (12 total) offered in that second window (I was able to do so by speeding up one Greek Gazebo pickup), then you’ll have enough Golden Apples for Pottery 101 and another Lightning Spell source. Now that you have the ability to make 3 Lightning Spells every 6 hrs, then depending on your Paddle and Laurel Crown drop rates, you can decide whether to work toward Zeus, Toga Peter directly, or the buildings that drop those Toga Peter items.

Two Zeus’s – one is the ‘battle Zeus’ to whom one makes offerings in return for golden apples. He cycles in and out in 24 hour cycles depending on how many offerings you make. (If you complete all four within the 24 hours, his cycles out for 24 hours at that point. Otherwise, he’s 24 hours on, 24 hours off.)
The second is the one to earn through the University Store. He requires 1000 ambrosia and 10 golden apples.
