WHAT THE DEUCE… Below 0 temperatures – ice and Russian Tiggers just don’t go together. I’m more like Russian Bambi in these conditions.
WHAT THE DEUCE…. Oil – if Dorothy had this much trouble getting some oil she would never have made it back to Kansas..

WTD does common drop mean to tinyco? Struggled thru the oil can never drops to get to Glinda’s palace thing for tube o lube which say common. Wait the 6 hours and guess what, they are made out of unobtainium. I have cleared the bldg 9 times and been rewarded 1 time. Hate to say it but as bad as the oil cans were this feels worse.

I sent in game msg and although I havent heard back yet but something seems different now. This was the first time I have cleared the bldg with a box over it, all previous attempts cleared with consuelas vacuum and this time I did get the needed tube o lube. Hope it’s fixed and if anyone else has the issue maybe this will cure it. Thanks guys for a helpful site and happy thanksgiving to all

The last couple of events the common and uncommon drops have seemed tougher to get than the others. I believe the poll for the last event had the highest percentage as uncommon items giving people the most trouble. I’m currently struggling to the the Lube. I placed that building last because it was for a common item… I believe it’s only dropped 1 in 7 or 8 cycles.

I would seriously like to know what I have done to make it where anything I post is removed? I have only posted a handful of times and it will show up saying “awaiting moderation” and then it disappears. I thought maybe cause I posted on the wrong thread, but today it was a vent in “what the deuce”. What am I doing wrong?

My “WTD” is the same for this event as any of the others; when is TinyCo going to fix the “uncommon” drop rates??!!??!! It is so frustrating waiting for the “uncommons” to drop!!! I always seem to get more “rare” and even “epic” drops faster than “uncommon”. Oh well, other than that I’m totally enjoying the event. Thanks for listening to my venting rant. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and I know I am very thankful for you awesome people that keep this site going, couldn’t get as far as I do without the tips I get on this site!

To everyone who’s experiencing crashes, I just had my game crash every time on the loading screen. Rebooting didn’t help, but reinstalling the game did. Luckily, I had my save game connected to Facebook, so I could load my game after a few taps and everything now works like it should. So that’s at least a tip if you’re in the same situation as me. 😉

I also noticed that my Clam TV had been missing for the last 2-3 days but returned after my reinstall. So I lucked out on that one as well. 😉

My clam tv has disappeared. 🙁 It went from 7 clams 1x/day to 3 clams then 4 clams for a total of 7/day, then 1 or 2 clams at a time up to 7 for day, then 1 clam 7x/day. And now the TV no longer appears. I’m not having the X out or crashing issue. Just no longer have the opportunity to watch ads to get clams. I feel like I have read something about this in an old post, but I cannot find it. How do I get clam tv back?

Clam TV reduced to 1 at a time for me also, then disappeared for a few days, now it’s back, still at the 1 video for 1 clam at a time mind you.

What the deuce, the only way to get oil and and straw is to spend 9.99 for clams for oil and then spend 9.99 for clams to get straw and its still not enough to acomplish anything, might as well change the name of this game to clamily guy the quest for money. This game definitely took a turn for money hungry corporation probably one year after it came out. Grant you i still play but its now a pay to play, so i can never get past week two of event content unless you buy clams and even that doesn’t help much. What the deuce.

Geez, these guys are really phoning it in with these events…
Overly convoluted collection system? Check.
New character required to progress? Check.
Sparse amount of tasks for Event Currency? Check.
Generic squatters with lousy drop rates? Check.
Timed multiplying-level Boss? Check.
Bare minimum character usage? Check.
Superfluous premium items useless after this week? Check.
Overpriced Mystery Box with repeating materials? Check.
Nothing actually referenced from the TV show? Check.
And a seriously big miss on the obvious possibility for a “Yellow Brick Road” deco – TinyCo must really hate landscaping options.
It is getting so that merely checking in every 4 hours just is not enough anymore – too much money, not enough funny…

Well I can’t get anything out of those lame falling houses; very frustrating when you’re needing a building to progress & you can’t get what you need. You have to get a particular building for the tin man; only two characters drop the gun powder; and they may be always drop but considering it take so many hours to make a munchkin and the houses don’t give you anything it’s a huge waste of time

There’s 3 existing characters that drop the protein powder, Mort, Lois & Joe. Also the premium Winged Monkey Chris also has a drop

Yes I know, but even when the three drop their gun powder(and it takes three hours to create the munchkin man that lifts the houses) for nothing to drop from those houses but an Emerald, what good is having three characters that drop something when you get nothing from it in the long run to progress

The Buff Munchkins take 2 hours to train. But as I say the rare drop is the trade off for the always drop on resources. Nothing is ever easy in this game I’m afraid.

The protein powder drop is supposed to be always, but I had a nothing drop from all three yesterday. They dropped today finally. Not that it helps, considering how rarely an oil can comes out of those houses. Quagmire is going to rust for sure

What the deuce? Two weeks of crashing or no X appearing after watching an ad on iOS when clicking on the TV set means plenty of frustration on my end and no help yet from in-game assistance requests from TinyCo (and many missing clams). With a GB of free space on the device, I’m guessing the problem is at their end of things.
Also, no way of knowing how many items I have collected so far to fight the witch while the witch is in hibernation status means probably one more day of waiting to progress in this game. Grrrrrrr…

I just tried to fix the problem one more time. I once again deleted my game, reinstalled it and signed back in to my account. Clam TV is now finally now working again! The x button is back so I can now close the advertisement screen and claim the clams. Too bad I won’t get the clams for all the other (over a dozen) commercials I have watched – but I won’t complain, I am just happy to finally have it back and working again. 😄

not a proper WTD, but i’ve made a autumn cleaning on my game, went from 4.84Gb to 686.8Mb of storage space, WOW that was a lot, TinyCo should try to implement a way to remove the old event while they are pushing new update

I have grown weary of this event structure and the one used last event (and practically every event for the last year-plus). I long for the days of tasks dropping items that directly resulted in characters. There is nothing more frustrating than starting the path to an item and having an empty drop on any one of the steps. Please TinyCo, make everything an “always” drop and make us collect more items instead of having our efforts potentially drop nothing at any step along the way. I had 24 hours to get two super soakers to get the last items for Dorothy Lois and only got one in six collections. I now have to build back up my arsenal and try to reach level three again just to get close to her again.

The supersoakers, spray bottles, and water balloons are supposed to be an always drop. Was this yesterday? The always drop of protein powder wasn’t coming through for me, although I always got the water fight supplies for both Peter and Lois.

Burr …sub freezing temperatures. You may need the oil to keep warm. Hope the jinx you placed on your drops earlier in the game has lifted.

Got an in-game reply from TinyCo saying that because I haven’t been in contact they’re going to mark my Clam TV glitch as solved when it’s still ongoing. I replied back stating I’m still experiencing issues with black screen crashing or no close button and they said they’ve clear the cache at their end and to power off my iPhone and restart the game.
The result: no joy whatsoever, still crashing, still no close button.
Has any other players had any success with this Clam TV debacle?
