Quahog’s Not So Silent Night 101: Baby Heimlich

Hey there Christmas Cookies

With Phase 4 of Quahog’s Not So Silent Night underway there’s a doll to rival Chucky hanging out in our towns. Yes there’s a new Boss  to battle as Baby Heimlich has descended upon us, and let me tell you she’s small but mighty.

The arrival of this new Boss has  really chipped away at your Christmas cheer as she’s going to be tough to take down even at the lower levels, as Beach Balls will be few and far between just now. Defeating her at 1X and 2X is just achievable if you can keep Bonnie cured of the Holiday Blues, no easy task with the shortage of Bauble Bears. If you want to attack anything above this at this time, well you’re going to need to have unlocked Rupert or shell out some clams.

Let’s take a look at Phase 4 and see exactly what the Baby Heimlich will be dropping during this part of the event.

For more information on the Event, go HERE

So follow me if you dare as I show Baby Heimlich us Addicts don’t fear her lack of Christmas cheer. Okay I admit it, maybe we do, but just a little.

BABY HEIMLICH

Baby Heimlich will appear in your game as part of Phase 4, she appears wandering your roads once you get to Pt. 3 of the main Questline, Dream Come True. There are currently two freemium characters that can collect the required battle resources, Beach Balls, these are Bonnie and Rupert, and there’s one premium character, Blinky. You’ll find full breakdown of where to get Beach Balls later in this post.

The amounts of Beach Balls needed will be the same in every players game. Many players report success in these battles by stocking up on a bunch of the attack resource before attacking, I’ve personally done this but this strategy usually depends on a long respawn time, with her returning in just 9 or so hours this will be a little more difficult at first. But 1X and 2X will be very possible once you’ve unlocked Rupert.

The rewards are less generous than other recent Boss Batles, it’s going take a lot of effort to get all those Versace Robes needed to unlock Black Jesus.

BATTLE LEVELS

The amounts you will need to defeat her at levels 1X through to 5X are as follows:

Battle Resource – BEACH BALLS

Battle Resource Attack Level
1 Beach Ball 1X
2 Beach Balls 2X
4 Beach Balls 3X
8 Beach Balls 4x
12 Beach Balls 5X

Now I’m going be honest I’ve just for managed to hit her at level 2X and that’s because I am struggling to get Beach Balls with just Bonnie, as she keeps getting the Holiday Blues. You only have 24 hours to defeat the Baby Heimlich up to 5X and in my opinion freemium players just can’t collect enough stuff to get anywhere near there. But just keep battling at the levels you can. Once you defeat her or she times out you can of course spend clams to bring her back at the level she left at, but with the time needed to build resources I don’t really advise this.

REWARDS

The goodies she drops  will vary depending on who you’re currently trying to unlock, there’s Stocking Stuffers for buying items in the Toyland  Puppet Theatre and decorations in the store. You will also be able collect Rainbows also for purchases at the Toyland Puppet Theatre and Versace Robes to help towards unlocking Black Jesus.

What you will get at each level is as follows, but bare in mind if you no longer need an item it obviously won’t drop.

REWARDS

Rewards Attack Level
30 Stocking Stuffers, 1 Rainbow, 8 Versace Robes 1X
40 Stocking Stuffers, 2 Rainbows, 16 Versace Robes 2X
50 Stocking Stuffers, 3 Rainbows, 24 Versace Robes 3X
60 Stocking Stuffers, 4 Rainbows, 36 Versace Robes 4X
70 Stocking Stuffers, 5 Rainbows, 50 Versace Robes 5X

You will need 255 Versace Robes to help unlock Black Jesus. Eek.

BEACH BALLS

Now how do we get those Beach Balls Well it’s all down to character drops and premium purchases.

BEACH BALLS

Common:
Bonnie Flirt With Santa (4hrs)
Rupert’s Go Shopping (4hrs)

Always:
Blinky (Premium) Let His Eyes Do The Talking (4hrs)
Buy from Store

Chance
Nutcracker Mystery Box (Premium)
Cheer Crate (Premium)

ATTACKING BABY HEIMLICH

image

The battle modus operandi is similar to that of previous boss battles, click Baby Heimlich and you will get the battle screen. It will tell you 1: What item and how many of them you need to defeat her at that level, 2: The rewards for defeating her at that level, and 3: How much time you have left before she disappears.

Once you have gathered the required Beach Balls the attack button will appear. Press this to complete the attack at that level. Simply tap it and collect your rewards.

Now once she times out she won’t return for about 9 hours. You will know she is in downtime by a dummy, (soother), replacing the timer above her. Unfortunately TinyCo seem to have removed the indicator of the time until she returns.

And there you have it the all the info about Baby Heimlich and her drops. How are you getting on defeating the small but mighty Baby Heimlich. Are you winning the battle or will you be needing your nappy, (diaper), changed for the next round? Got any battle strategies to share with your fellow addicts? And are you enjoying the event so far? Tell us in the comments as you know we lone hearing from you.

  1. Is the Addicts relaying these poor drop rates to TC? It’s obvious our myriad in-game comments are going right in the dust bin.

  2. Sorry Tinyco but you have just lost a loyal player. I have spend more money on this Christmas Edition than ever before. I still haven’t got black Jesus and I still haven’t got blinky. I rarely get Bauble so Bonnie can’t be used I keep getting Green ones and the are not dropping the gems to get Rupert. I’m incredibly annoyed at this and I want everyone to know this because it’s been a sham. How the hell are you suppose to get 180 power pills? Anyone done it yet? I have 40 plus ghost gifts I get one in every say 10 or 15. I kill the pacmen people 1 every now and again it’s stupid. This was a great game this has spoiled it. I’m sure I’m not the only one judging by your comments.

    Peace out

  3. Can someone check the math? Is it more worth to just attack several times to level 1 or to level or 2, as opposed to saving up beach balls and getting to level 4 or level 5?

    Like

    • Absolutely no way to do a math with all the variables in play, even if you are only considering Boonie as a drop for Beach Balls, it’s not an always drop so you can’t predict how many drops a day, and then you have the holiday blues issue, no way knowing how many Bauble bears you’ll get to cure her daily. So it’s just impossible to say how long it would take you to collect to try doing a 5X streak. Sorry.

      • actually, the math is quite easy. schmidder isn’t asking for the beach ball math, just the attacking. If you are working on Black Jesus, then doing just 1x and 2x attacks will require 10 days (not including the baby down time). Since you don’t have 10 days left, this is not an option. If you went with 1 – 5x and 1 – 4x then you will be able to finish the robes with either 2-2x or 1-3x.

        • But without knowing how many beach balls you will get you actually can’t predict know how many of any attack you can do. So it’s easy to work out the attacks you need in time left but there’s no way guarantee you will be able do them if you can’t get the beach balls, hence the math is irrelevant if you only have Bonnie to drop beach balls. Usually I like to work out best mode of attack but eel that option just isn’t there for me with Bonnie trapped and only dropping beach balls once a day at times.

  4. In my opinion TinyCo have messed up the beach ball drops with only Bonnie being able to get them but always being tied up with the cloud.
This is getting me significantly further behind which is disappointing. It wouldn’t be quite so bad if there was an outright premium character that dropped beach balls, its nice that Rupert drops them but need to unlock him first…
I have provided in game feedback to TinyCo, I hope they make some tweaks.

    • Exactly right, Mark! This is ridiculous… finally got 3bears to clear Bonnie to get a beach ball… and then NO BEACH BALL!! Yeah, I know “common” is not “always” but seriously?!! After all the stuffers and ghost gifts I got instead of the three red bears, and no beach ball, and no triangle which means no drops to get Rupert teddy! I know, not officially the right place but WTD?!!! I’m stuck on Rupert with only half way for triangles and clouds… so frustrating. I know just a game but this is the worst Christmas event ever!

  5. It’s not getting any better. Almost four days with Baby Heimlich in my town and I’ve only been able to attack it four times (twice each at levels 1 and 2 (48 robes)). I haven’t been able to unlock Rupert either.

  6. Yeah this latest update is ticking me off. Bonnie being the only one to get beach balls other than rupert is bs considering most of the time bonnie is indisposed. Hardly getting any gift drops from Q, brain or Princess and never getting any care bears. Also with rupert I’m getting no hearts when I am able to cure bonnie, bruce or Lois.

  7. yea I’m not getting beach balls to attack that flame throwing baby nor am I getting an peppermint ghosts so I can cure Lois. Two days Lois has been useless for me and I need her for the clouds.

  8. I finally got my 1st beach ball !
I’ve only been able to cure Bonnie 2 times so far. Most of my Care Packages drop Ghostly Boxes or Stocking Stuffers.

  9. I still don’t have the 2nd building because I have only had 2 rainbow drops, can’t attack the baby because I don’t have the bears to clear bonnie. Every parcel i get has ghostly gifts in it (seriously, i got 6/9 in 3 parcels). Wtf am I supposed to do? This event is terrible or I’m hugely unlucky.

  10. With this event being video game themed, am I the only one thinks this boss is based on the giant baby boss from Carnevil?

  11. No red bear drops to free up Bonnie, so no beach balls because she is only one I have “available” to get them right now. Really wish TC would stop doing this. Peter is useless again, use him for the red bears instead.

  12. Yep, tiny has shifted the last few events to be more reliant on buildings only for items.

You have fewer characters dropping essential items, they have longer tasks with a rarer drop rate.

80s gamer brian didnt drop for me until 3 days after I needed him to complet the questline. I would have bought him or blinly outright, but hiding essential characters in random lowdrop boxes.

    • Exactly… I’m completely railroaded by Pixel Pills (I’m still waiting for Pixel Lois). I have 80’s Brian, 10,000 stuffers etc. Days go by without any drops. I have no idea why they have to make it so painfully difficult. I think this will be my last event after this fiasco. I was loving this event in Week 1 & 2, but now I’ve lost all interest in the game.

  13. Having same issue you are… working with only Bonnie and so with her being sick all the time and not being able to cure her because of drop rates with care packages and when they do drop I rarely get bears.. I’m having a hard time attacking … but I know the flow changes a lot in this game so I’m staying calm for the moment lol..

  14. It’s impossible to get beach balls, only Bonnie drops them(and Rupert but you need Bonnie’s triangles to get Rupert, so that’s a stalemate) and I never get bears Bonnie’s color. Or Lois for that matter….So with the 12+ cloud boxes I’ve opened, only been able to undo Bruce’s anger cloud but sadly he gets you nothing for the event?! Sadly most the things I get from the cloud boxes are worthless…Stocking stuffers and blue ghost boxes(which I still wouldn’t mind pellets but they never drop either, lol)

  15. Having Bonnie be the only freemium character able to get a beach ball and also having her suffer from the holiday blues is a cruel trick by Tiny Co.

    Liked by 1 person

    • Yeah, that was a very scroogey of them. There is no other way, except buying them, to get beachballs, and then no beach balls means no attacking the baby, which means no robes and no Jesus! There should have been at least 2 regular characters with tasks to get the beachballs. Then there are the bears! 2 care packages possible every 4 hours, and then when you do get them, they barely provide bears! (yeah, horrible pun!) No Bears, specifically Bonnie Bears, and no triangles, and no triangles means no Rupert, which will give you another shot at getting beach balls! Oy!

Anyway, Merry and Happy to all!

  16. Still waiting to get my first rainbow as part of Dreams Come True Pt1, which I’ve been stuck on since Phase 4 was released. Didn’t even know there was more to Phase 4 (Baby Heimlich) until reading this. Hopefully before the event ends I’ll get a rainbow…

  17. Finally got my first Beach Ball unfortunately the Baby timed out so I’m stuck waiting for him to come back.

  18. Tiny co should either make it so that bonnie will only get mad after she finished her task or give someone else the task (maybe meg or carter).
Luckely the beach balls that can be bought with clams aren’t that expensive compared to other events or even the barrels from week 2.

    • Yes, I totally agree with you – and it usually takes a day to unlock Bonnie to earn one beach ball…not good…Even though purchasing balls with clams is less than other events, TinyCo shouldn’t make it so onerous to earn critical items…

      Liked by 1 person

    • I might have to check that option out since I’ve only got a beach ball once in the last 5 times I managed to cure Bonnie and collect from her task.

  19. What happens to those that spent some clams to unlock black Jesus and now there is a task for the baby to earn a robe and there are no robe awards?
