Hey there Metal Mickeys!
With all the New Items hitting our Event, it can be difficult to know where to start or where to go to gain the Items & Materials we need throughout the Event. That is where the 101’s come in.
In this post, I will be going over the “Bad Guy” Negatron. How to attack him, how to defeat him, and all you will need to know in between.
Let’s take a closer look at this mighty metal bad guy!!!
WHEN DOES NEGATRON APPEAR?
You will trigger him during Rude Awakening Pt. 1. The Questline will direct you to him.
WHERE DOES NEGATRON COME FROM?
He automatically spawns in your town.
WHAT IS NEGATRON’S SPAWN TIME?
Negatron Spawn Time/Amount: Per my game, it looks like just 1 Negatron appears and once cleared a replacement will spawn soon after.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO CLEAR NEGATRON?
The Various Convertarons do Damage to Negatron’s Heart Meters with each Attack. Each Negatron starts out with a 70 Heart Meter. Negatron’s Heart Meter must be drained to Zero in order to completely Clear him. You can tap on him to find out what his current Heart Meter is.
Basically, you attack him with Convertarons until you have attacked with a total of at least 70 Damage.
WHAT DAMAGE DOES EACH CONVERTARONS DO TO NEGATRON?
Here are each of the current 3 Convertarons available and the amount of Damage each one does to Negatron.
Rumblewee: 18 Damage
Optimus Primetime: 25 Damage
Colossatron: 45 Damage
WHERE DO I GET CONVERTARONS?
From the Robo Receptacles you Open in the Present Plaza.
HOW TO ATTACK AND CLEAR NEGATRON?
Now that you have the Basics to get Negatron, let’s walk through actually taking down one of them with the Convertarons. You essentially want to use the best combination of Convertarons you have to do the most damage to Negatron and take down as many Negatron as you can without wasting the Convertarons Damage ability.
Negatron starts out at his 70 Heart Meter Points. I have multiple options of Convertarons to attack with, but I want to take this Negatron down as fast as I can so I choose the option of Colossatron and Optimus Primetime. Colossatron comes with 45 Damage and Optimus Primetime comes with 25 Damage, this combination will completely clear the 70 Heart Points on the NEGATRON.
I tap on Negatron to bring up the Attack Screen, then I tap on Colossatron at the bottom to place it in the path of Negatron.
I take the Colossatron and drag it around my play screen until I can see Negatron walking INTO the “Kill Zone Circle” and Negatron has turned PURPLE. Once I am sure of this, I tap on the Check Mark.
A minus -45 appears as Colossatron Attacks Negatron with his 45 Damage Points. (Be aware Negatron will move out of the kill zone if you wait too long.)
Negatron now has 25 Heart Meter Points, so we repeat the above this time using an Optimus Primetime Convertaron in order to to the 25 Damage needed to completely drain Negatron’s Heart Meter to 0. I can then collect my Rewards.
Knowing it is not that easy to get a Colossatron as they are not that common, the most common combination you will probably use is 3 Optimus Primetime, which do 25 damage each, 25 + 25 + 25 = 75, more the 70 damage you need to defeat Negatron.
***Like with previous phases with SAMs, Drun Wizards and PAC-Carolles there are other options, mixing and matching Convertarons, this will be partly dictated by drops, but whatever combination you use try to plan in rider you don’t waste too many damage points.***
However your BEST results will happen if you instead just keep collecting Convertarons and use these two options:
- 1 Colossatron with 45 Damage and 1 Optimus Primetime with 25 Damage and Negatron is taken out.
- 3 Optimus Prime with 25 Damage each and Negatron is taken out.
However with Robo Receptacles being rare, you may find to keep moving you need to just use whatever combination you can, even if it seems wasteful.
WHAT REWARDS CAN YOU GET FROM NEGATRON?
Here are the Payouts for Negatron:
+1 Robo Fuel (Chance)
+6 Stocking Stuffers
- Collect various Convertaron to have best options of Attack
- Tap on Negatron to start Attack
- Wait for Negatron to be PURPLE and walking INTO Circle

There you have the over Basics of the Negatron, what is needed for them, and how to best take them out.
How are you doing on the Negatron Battles? How about the Convertarons? Have a combination of Convertarons you usually go for? How are your Payouts so far? Tips for other Players? Let us know.
