Best of 2016 Event Character Profile: Jim Kaplan

Calling all con artists!!

The master of all con men has finally come to our Quahog’s, yeah it’s the guy who’s more about scams than clams, it’s Jim Kaplan.

Let’s take a look at what Jim Kaplan can do in our silly li’l games.

Jim Kaplan is a new Character added during the Best of 2016 eventAs with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect  STUFF.

For Jim Kaplan, the STUFF you have to earn for him in this event can be seen once you place Jim’s Volcana Insurance Agency from your shopping cart for $1000.

Once you’ve placed this you will see Jim Kaplan outside. Tapping on his Lock Icon would show you the Materials you needed to collect to bring him into the game.

  1. I didn’t get him either. I hadn’t bought any of the characters that would have dropped his coin (and wasn’t about to now), so I was well short.
Starting the new year off right.

  2. He’s great – voiced with numerous amusing quotes – one of the best characters they’ve added to the game in quite awhile!

  3. Maybe he’ll be a best of 2017 character to unlock?

It was strange that the three required to unlock to get him were 3 characters I missed out on. I’m usually fairly successful with the events but those 3 were particularly tough along with Carl from the Hauntening. They must have been common misses among players? I got 2 out of the 3(Red Riding Stewie and Ollie) I guess that’s good? I ended with 6/20 for the Giant Chicken. I guess that’s bad?

I have a feeling this wont be the last time that feathered freak will be available but unfortunately he’ll probably be something like 300-400 clams like the recurring Death.

  4. I got him Monday and realize it had everything to do with luck after reading the results others have experienced. Glad to have him but realize that his value is lessened now that the mini-event is over. Off to Tan Lines!
