InvestigatiONS

This is where you will complete investigations in order to drop items, release Hatted Suspects, Eyepatch Suspects  and Mr Shark Suit.

Although also worth remembering where you can explore will depend on the characters you have available to you. The characters that can explore are Mrs Peacock, Mrs White, Colonel Mustard, Muriel and Mr Green.

To explore you will need to collect Evidence.

Eyepatch suspects

These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events.

But first you’ll  find these during an investigation, as always once you release them you will find the Eyepatch Suspects wander towards your sidewalks. As a reminder you can find these by investigating The Study Lounge and/or Kitchen Supplies & More and/or The Dastardly Long Dining Table:.

Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Noisemaker, you’ll get them here:

Noisemakers (Always) –  Get from crafting in the Dungeon Wine Club

Once you have a Noisemaker you will find Eyepatch Suspects by investigating and then wandering  around your sidewalks.

Simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen.

Then move the Noisemaker until the green target circle is on a Eyepatch Suspects, you’ll know it’s in target as it will turn purple, then simply hit the check mark to clear the Eyepatch Suspect.

The event rewards for clearing Club Card Soldiers are as follows:

Per Eyepatch Suspect Cleared
1 Relish Bottle (Chance)
1  Bowtie  (Chance)

Hatted suspects

These are the little baddies from last week of the event and are still necessary to clear, and of course they are quite simple to deal with.

But first you’ll  find these during an exploration, as always once you release them you will find the Hatted Suspects wander towards your sidewalks. As a reminder you can find these by investigating Kitchen Supplies & More and/or The Dastardly Long Dining Table:.

Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Pepper Spray, you’ll get them here:

Pepper Spray (Always) –  Get from crafting in the Dungeon Wine Club

Once you have a Pepper Spray you will find Hatted Suspect wandering  around your sidewalks, simply tap, target and clear them.

.

The event rewards for clearing Hatted Suspects are as follows:

Per Hatted Suspect Cleared
1 Bird Seed (Always)
1  Purse (Chance)

FIGHT Mr Shark suit

Here is another new battle, it’s similar to what we saw with Mrs Peacock and Mr Green in previous weeks.

Basically you need to find Mr Shark Suit during an investigation in either of the following areas, The Dastardly Long Dining Table or Kitchen Supplies & More. If you find him she will appear over in the event area at the Interrogations Room. Above him will be a timer and a heart meter.

Now the heart meter level has been different each time I have found him but this might vary in your game.  To defeat Mr Shark Suit  you need to get his heart meter to 0.

Now you’ve 24 hours to fully deplete his heart meter, and you do so by attacking her with Muriel Goldman, Mrs Peacock, Mrs White, Colonel Mustard and/or Professor Plum.

Muriel’s INTERROGATE MR SHARK SUIT task has a damage score of 1, so that’s what she will reduce Mr Shark Suit’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Colonel Mustard’s INTERROGATE MR SHARK SUIT task has a damage score of 2, so that’s what he will reduce Mr Shark Suit’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Mrs White’s INTERROGATE MR SHARK SUIT task has a damage score of 3, so that’s what she will reduce Mr Shark Suit’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Mrs Peacock’s  INTERROGATE MR SHARK SUIT task has a damage score of 2, so that’s what she will reduce Mr Shark Suit’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Professor Plum’s INTERROGATE MR SHARK SUIT task has a damage score of 2,  so that’s what he will reduce Mr Shark Suit’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage

Now once you get Mr Shark Suits heart meter to zero he will vanish, you will get your rewards and then start exploring areas to find him to attack again. He will be a very good source of Magnifying Glasses.

The rewards levels I’ve seen are as follows:

Heart Meter 2 – 15 Magnifying Glasses & 1 Tie
Heart Meter 6 – 25 Magnifying Glasses & 2 Ties
Heart Meter 8– 35 Magnifying Glasses & 3 Ties
Heart Meter 9 – 50 Magnifying Glasses & 3 Ties

There you have the overall basics to get you started through the final Week of the New Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

I’m still stuck trying to unlock Mrs Peacock. I can’t get the coconut oil needed to unlock buildings because investigations aren’t dropping any bald suspects.

I guess the tie drops from Mr. Shark Suit aren’t guaranteed. I beat him at 6 health points, and only got 2 ties, not 3.

  4. One thing to remember is that you can only have one Mr. Shark Suit active to fight at any one time. As long as he’s active, he’s not a potential drop when you send people into rooms on investigations When he’s active, I’ll send one or two characters to fight, and send others to the room to get hatted or eyepatch suspects, whatever I need at the moment to get buildings. That way, I’ll be guaranteed to get the suspects I want. With a little strategy, you can sometimes force what you get out of the rooms to your needs instead of depending on random luck.

  5. So relish does not drop from Dastardly Long Table, because I’ve yet to see any despite the game saying otherwise?

  6. Ever since getting duplicate buildings in my game last Friday 3-29 my Investigation buildings have not functioned properly. Last week when I had Colonel Mustard investigate Kitchen Supplies & More on Friday night he permanently locked up and never completed the investigation. He has been locked from use ever since. Last night at the start of week 3 I had Muriel investigate Dastardly Long Dining Table and she permanently locked up and never completed the investigation. I’ve now lost use of Muriel, Colonel Mustard and the Dastardly Long Dining Table!

They are aware some players like yourself are having issues but think it’s taking time to lock down the core issue and fix it, I do know they are working flat out on trying to.
