Despite Jam City reducing the Fire Elixir requirements for Winter Meg, I’m still seeing complaints about getting her spread out over various posts, so in order to try to point support to your issues can anyone trying to get Winter Meg comment on this post, giving your concerns and answering the questions below.

Currently 3/5 water elixir- been stuck on 3/5 for 24 hours of drops by all 4 characters- tried using fast forward to increase drops, but each time using fast forward there were NO DROPS OF WATER ELIXIR
I have placed all buildings. Currently can’t advance past Meg Reunion Pt 6 because I can’t get water elixir
Having the drops as “uncommon” makes it almost impossible to earn Meg and complete the quest

It’s so annoying they made us play through the whole event for a second chance at Winter Meg and then still made her practically impossible.
I purchased the Yeti to help, but he didn’t make a dramatic difference. Then just now paid 26 clams to complete a 4X streak of the ice-fire creature, adding a much-needed 8 to my fire elixir collection, which puts the 30 required within reach, but that’s very nearly 300 clams spent. Hopefully I can earn another 3 during the remaining 18 hours without spending any more clams (so long as I get 4 water elixir drops, that should be enough).

I have JUST got winter Meg, and given the absolutely atrocious drop rate on elixir and yoghurt (dr Hartman seemed to drop them pretty regularly but the building was woeful!) I can almost 100% guarantee that if I wasn’t fast forwarding with ads for event tasks constantly I would absolutely not have gotten everything in time. I managed it without any premium characters, but I had to fast forward nearly everything and have everyone going constantly! It was also really difficult to get the goggles to get buildings, 15 is a lot with only 2 options to get them!!

Well done. It might not feel like it, but you may still have got better than average drops for this successful outcome!
Just unlocked her myself, but used a premium character, maximum video FFs and spent an additional 26 clams.
They definitely got this wrong (again) unless the intention was to annoy a lot of players!

7 strange yogurt in a bag. It took forever to unlock Yeti’s delight frozen yogurt, just now finally unlocked it. ( too late of course).
7 fire Elixir.
5 Water Elixir, I only have Lois and Stewie for this.
I remember playing this event last year, and the drops and requirements were just as bad if not worse. It seems that it was a direct copy and paste…😢😢

As of Feb 1, 12:25pm, I’m still missing:
Yoghurt – 13/25 earned;
Fire Elixir – 15/30 earned.
My winter elixir drop rate is low. Two characters working on it and over the Sat-Sun period I received 3 total, and I’m constantly on it (3 times harvested per day).

The results are hardly surprising. Uncommon drops are, on average, 1 in 3. So after 5 days you should have 1 drop per day per character.
With Stewie and Lois
14 elixir (above average)
5 Yogurt (average)
Same with the ski goggles (uncommon) 6/15 for Yeti’s Delight.
Ever since the game started, if there was a problem with drops, it was, 99% of the time, the uncommon drops.

Just wanted to point out that a lot of people are not reporting their “Magic Dust” status. I know you didn’t ask for it, and that most people will have collected it very early, since it was fairly easy to obtain, but perhaps it would be good to remind people that there are FIVE items needed for Winter Meg, not FOUR. (It would be a real shame if JC dropped some more requirements, but then people still miss out, just because of Magic Dust.)

I have everything for Winter Meg except:
4 Strange Yoghurt in a Bag
0 Fire Elixir
I have 17 water elixir but am waiting until I hit 25 so I can fully defeat the fire monster and get max fire elixir.
I only have Lois and Stewie getting water elixir. I’m still 2 of the boxing gloves away from getting the building that drops Strange Yoghurt in a Bag.
I’m pretty sure Winter Meg is mathematically impossible. Now, had Jam City given us what we had already earned last time, maybe it would be doable. Or, as I’ve said before, don’t make any drop that is rarer than “common” more than a 6-hour task. One event there was a “rare” drop every 12 hours and that does not work.

I’m not even seriously trying for Winter Meg anymore. The drop rates and requirements are ridiculous. I got an early start and saw nothing that was unreasonable for the others. Then Meg comes along and its a train wreck. Even after they dropped the fire elixir down to 30 its still no something that can be done. It actually looks like getting the strange yogurt is going to be the hardest one. With two days left I only have 5 and just Dr. Hartman working on it. You blew it with this event Jam City.

I have everything except for:
10/25 Strange Yoghurt
0/30 Fire Elixir
I have Stewie and Lois running around the clock to earn Water Elixir’s and have only accumulated 13. Wish it were an always drop considering how few characters earn them and how long it takes just to MAYBE earn 2. The max you can earn is 6 a day and that’s if it drops every single time, which it does not. I did the math and I’d have to have 32 Water Elixir to earn Meg. Having 7 days to earn them x 6 possible per day is 42. Not much room for error and that’s assuming that you login every 8 hours like clockwork. Very frustrating.

RT, thanks for doing this. It is much needed as this costume was never set right for Freemium and even the 10 elixir reduction won’t come close and that doesn’t even include the yogurt which has been a miserable drop as well..
I have all that is required for bottles, helmets and magic dust. I have 4 yogurts and 0 fire elixir.
I only have the freemium tasks for Rambo Lois and Winter Stewie to collect water elixir.
I have collected 10 water elixir thus far. I have determined I need to collect 15 water elixir two times to make runs to collect 15 fire elixir each time to reach 30.
I just placed the building for Yogurt so I will be collecting less than three days worth.
I am playing along and whatever happens, happens. Life continued when I didn’t get Winter Meg a year ago so I imagine it will continue again.

I am a android users and starting last night around 9ish central time I can no longer access the game. Prior to the game crashing I had the following:

I have used FF (2hr jump for watching ads) A LOT to collect water exlir and yoghurts. I use them until I can’t anymore. Stewie has never dropped a water elixir for me so I use the FF on Lois mostly. I used 20 clams to buy 1 elixir just now because both Lois and Stewie came up empty after the 8 hour wait and figure I only have 1 more day of fast forwards to get the remaining elixirs to fight the ice-fire creature and get the fire elixirs.
Too bad I can’t use any of my:
4000+ crystals (useless)
43 wrenches
80+ magic dusts
Or any of the other useless items I have collected over 3 weeks
To unlock Meg or trade for the items I struggled to collect.
I am close but have never had to completely rely on the fast forward function to complete tasks like this… as well as not miss any 8 hour alarm to get the water elixirs.

No fast forward feature for me, I’ve unlocked the first 2 bldgs, if lucky with drops possibly 3rd today but not holding my breath. On the needed items I have in order 16, 19, 7, 0, & 20. No chance of completing this one without some serious changes. No where near completion for the quest line as it’s not possible

As of Sunday morning EST, I have all everything I need for Winter Meg minus the strange yoghurt (I have 11) and the fire elixir (27). I have Lois, Stewie and the Yeti collecting water elixir. I currently have zero water elixir as I just attacked the water creature to get the 27 fire elixir. I have all three buildings placed although I just placed Yeti Delights. I do not have the fast forward feature but I did use clams to complete 8-hour tasks before bedtime. If everything holds, I should be on track to get Meg.
For those debating whether to purchase Winter Peter or the Yeti to help, I’ll add that the Yeti has 4 drops for this event. Once I get all the water elixir I need, I will switch the Yeti to the yoghurt drop which is also 8 hours.

The poor Ski Goggles drop rates for Winter Chris and Bonnie have been an issue for me, in addition to the Water Elixer.

Only 2 Strange Yoghurt In A Bag (so bad uncommon drops)
1 Fire Elixir so far. Have been saving them to try for a massive 5x battle.

Lois and Stewie. Their drops are horrible. I usually get 1 or none elixir every 8 hours. I’ve been playing steadily since the week started and have only gotten 8. I don’t think there is any way that I’ll get enough elixir.
3) I’ve got 7. I used one to meet the battle requirement in Step 4.
4)
Slip and slide park
Frozen stiff.
Drops for the ski goggles is also hit or miss. I’ll get them regularly then nothing again and again. I’ve got the Yeti yoghurt stand from last time but of course it’s no good now.
The problem is that it is so discouraging to get stuck at the same phase again in a repeat event.

Saving water elixir to do a full run on monster.
Still don’t have the yoghurt stand. Hopefully it will drop more and faster than dr. Hartman.
Should have added more characters to collect uncommon items that take 8 hours to hopefully drop

So 3 characters, every 8 hours – sometimes using clams to rush the task before bedtime.
3) Have 14 Water Elixir, only spent 1 so far as I’m trying to save up for a full attack.

* Yeti’s Delight Frozen Yoghurts.
I only placed Yeti’s Delight only 2 hours ago, so I expect the Yoghurt numbers to increase quickly. Fire Elixir is still the big problem
