Nailgunning It: Claiming The Nailgunner

Hello There Clammers!

This past weekend saw a new challenge introduced to the Comic-Con Event….the Fabulous Challenge!  For part one of the challenge you were required to zap 15 Mutant Stewies in 4 days in order to win Captain Hammered’s Super car, The Nailgunner.

We’ve broken down the how in this post, but now let’s talk about what happens when you’ve completed the challenge and are ready to claim your super car.  How do you get it? Where does it go?  What does it do?  We’ll answer all that and more below….

Special Guest Post: Diary of A Non-Fan

Hello There Clammers!

Happy Monday my friends!  We decided after a long weekend of blam! snatching, nerd zapping & mutant blasting it’d be fun to take a step back from the game and see it from a newbie’s perspective.  This newbie is special to Bunny & I…since it’s the one, the only Wookiee!

For those of you that follow us both on this site & our sister site (TSTO Addicts) you’re all aware of just who Wookiee is & his resistance to all things Family Guy…but for those of you that don’t know him, here’s a brief explanation of just who Wookiee is.

On our Simpsons site (TSTOAddicts) we have a 3rd Blogger in our Addicts family (besides Bunny & I)…his name is Wookie.  He loves all things Simpsons and Cheetos…and most importantly he completes our TSTO family.  (much like Cybersilly completes our TQFS family)
Wookiee has been against TQFS from the start.  He wanted no part with this new site (no matter how many cheetos we tried to bribe him with) and it was only because he doesn’t like Family Guy (he’s not a fan of the potty humor).  While he told Bunny & I numerous times over, he’d do anything to support us…he just couldn’t get into a game about a show he just doesn’t like.
ANYWAY, short story long….he FINALLY downloaded the game and started playing it.  Of course being the awesome blogger that he is…he complied his thoughts into a guest post for this site!  What happened on Wookiee’s adventure into Quahog?  Did he venture over to “the darkside” for good?  Or will he delete the game before he barely gets into it?    You’ll have to continue reading to find out…..

Quahog Comic-Con Walkthrough Pt. 2

Comic-Con phase 2 has arrived in Quahog!  The second phase brings a new celebrity to our towns as well as a Stewie invasion!  I know many of you are curious about what’s in store for us in our Tiny Quahogs during the second phase of this event..So with that in mind here’s the full quick walkthrough for phase 2 of the event (phase 1 can be found here)  This covers the quests that popup during the first few days of Comic-Con including: Creature from the Goo Lagoon and Perls of Wisdom

Caption This Clammers!

As you are playing through quest lines, finishing up some tasks, or seeking to get those “rare” items for our characters… you may catch a glance at some of the funny moments that happen in our games. For those of you that are watching and are actually able capture these rather silly and strange things as they happen, we want to see them.

Comic-Con Character Profile: Ron Perlman

Updated 8.12: A new task for Ron has been added, and his items that drop have been changed slightly.  Ron’s 4hr task will now always drop green pesticide and his 8hr task has a chance to drop a battery (remember it’s still a rare item).  The task list below as been updated to reflect his new task, and a time change to another task. 

Hello There Clammers!

It’s nerd city in Quahog these days as the Comic-Con Event is upon us!  Not only have the nerds invaded the streets of Quahog, but celebrities are popping up all over the place!  The second celebrity you’ll find hanging around Comic-Con is Ron Perlman!

Personally, I’m a HUGE fan of this aspect of the Comic-Con Event.  I think it’s incredibly awesome to see guest stars make appearances, as playable characters, in TQFS!   It adds a level of excitement to the game, and I’m loving every minute of it!  Can’t wait to see how the others make their grand entrances!

Of course to enjoy all Ron has to offer in TQFS you’ll have to unlock him, which is sometimes easier said than done!  So let’s take a closer look at the details behind this Hellboy….
