I was a level 41. After linking it to my Facebook account it crashed. When I got it to work again it had completely reset and took me back to the beginning of the game.

My best suggestion is to contact them right away if the account recovery steps are not working.

I purchased the upside-down face boy and finished a collection of premium characters, got my reward (something like 35 clams) but then a couple days later they reorganized the facespace page and it was again not completed. The game continued to recall all of my earned clams… Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions other than emailing the game makers? Emailing these game makers never has proven fruitful.

That is very odd. TinyCo is usually really good about that stuff. Just make sure you go the BEST route of contact. ONLY through the game itself (Menu, Help, Contact) or ONLY through the help email … help@tinyco.com

Well thanks for your suggestion and quick response. I guess I will give it a shot. I have never dealt with TinyCo before, my comment was more general about these freemium games, hopefully they will be better than the other customer service reps.

What are the drop rate percentages of each item rarity? Basically how long does it take roughly to get for example a super rare item.

The % of them is not available, so we do not know the exacts. We do know the more times you miss one…the greater the chance of getting it.

How do you get more roads? None of mine are connecting and I’m not sure why… do you buy them? I thought clearing the blocks would help but they didnt… now I just have a bunch of random spots with roads and blank grass…

Hi, I just got a new phone and am trying to play my game again on the new phone and it won’t let me, it keeps saying I need to sign in as a user with a password or as a guest. Problem is that I never signed in that way on my old phone, just thru the gamecenter.
QUESTION: IF I set up a sign in on my old phone now, will the new phone allow me to pick up where I left off on my game? I have taken a pic of the long number on my opening page so hopefully I will still be able to restore my game on my new phone.

The Player ID you actually want for your game is in Menu, Account, lower right corner.
As far as your other device, in the same area it should tell you just how you were logged in on that same page. Email address or Facebook name. If you never linked it to anything, you may want to while you are in there to save your progress.

Items in use are not stored, so I assume they will stay out with their vehicles and/or buildings. Haven’t tried a nuke while building someone.

I have been maxed out for a couple months now. I’ve also continued building and adding to my community but I’ve literally run out of space. Do I have to store away stuff or will I be able to purchase more land at some point??

Since I will have Roger in 6 hours when his ship is finished, can I start one (or more) of the characters on their quests to gather stuff to unlock him if their quest takes more than 6 hours? Or do I have to wait until Roger’s ship is completed and the required item actually shows in the task before I start the task?

Go to Menu, Account, and see if you are already signed in. If you are, you will see it say your email or Facebook ID you logged in with. If not, take a screenshot or write down the LOOOOOOONG set of numbers in the lower right corner while there in the account info. THAT is your Player ID and is what will help you if you ever lose your game.
Either way, note that Player ID and keep it handy.

Yes, I had it linked thru email which was my gmail, I just signed back into the game with it just how i did to begin with and it started me all over.

I just bought myself a new phone and put the game onto my sd card and that didn’t transfer it so I thought my email that was linked to it would have saved it but it didn’t. Is there any way I can get my progress back?

How did you have the game saved? Did you link it to an email, G+, or Facebook? You have to log back into it the exact way you did on the other device.

I can’t build anything, because whe never I place something to build it the game wants me to buy another worker. I don’t have enough clams for another worker, and there’s no way I’m buying more clams. Is there any way I can build more stuff without buying another worker?

It is a default message. There is still data from TinyCo and the game trying to get to you and it can’t. Try the basic troubleshooting steps.

It just puts all you own into your inventory. A few items stay out as they can’t be stored or if someone is inside a building and it is being used it won’t store.

Hey guys. I’ve just done a factory reset on my LG L7 II (P716) smartphone and downloaded the game, however once it loads, it displays this error:

I have logged into facebook on the game, but when I try to connect with facebook or try to invite friends, it says that I have no friends to invite. When I click on account settings it says my facebook is connected. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you!

Evening clammers!
I downloaded this game half way through the holloween event and have been addicted ever since. What a great and fun game, actually caught myself laughing out loud a couple of times and I love the reminders from old episodes. I forgot bitch stewie excisted until last week.
My only problem is i wish i knew the game existed when it started, feel like ive missed the oportunity to get ‘stuff’ from the comic con event and get the coolade guy! Do we know if events will repeat again, will it be a different event next halloween (i didnt get pink brian)

As far as returning characters, we never know. That’s all up to TinyCo to make that decision. My best suggestion is tell them. Request who you want to see again and why and do it from your in game menu. They may not respond back, but they do read them all. 😉

Is anyone else having problems with the cologne factory? I have been having a problem clicking on it as it either shuts down the game or freezes it. I have tried to reinstall the game and did updates as well as tried to click on it through the mission button and through the buikd menu. Does anyone have any other idea on what to do? You’re friends come from your Facebook page, so only way is to delete from your Facebook

When I used to zoom in in my game the buildings and characters would be HD and the same quality as they were when zoomed out but since Halloween event the quality is very poor when I zoom in

Hey guys I recently just connected my facebook account with the family guy app. I have restarted my phone and the app many times because when i go to visit other peoples towns, none ever pop up besides the default ollieland. Do i need to be doing something differently to activate my friends so i can visit their towns or is this not working for other people as well?

There is a 1.5 version coming with a patch to help with Facebook. Just make sure you’re signed in via Facebook for your account as well as logged in and accepted access via friends area.

I had this app downloaded on my iPhone 5s. It got stolen on 29/10. I’ve since updated to an iPhone 6 and backed up from my iCliud all my apps/settings including the FG App (which is my favourite time waster!) but I can’t open it. So I just convinced a friend to start playing the game and I can’t figure out how to add him as a friend! when I go to invite I get a message that says I can’t invite anyone else (despite the fact that I don’t remember inviting anyone…). any suggestions? Try this…it is a long reach…but see if you remove him then re add him on Facebook if that will work. In the meantime, there are some patches coming for Facebook in the 1.5 update.

One thing I have a question on isn’t really about the game itself but the devices it can be played on. I’m looking into getting a tablet, something I don’t currently have. The one I’m looking at I cannot check out in stores. However, I want to make sure that before I buy it I can download and play Fam G. Is there some list of devices y’all have that are/aren’t compatible?
I want to get the iRULU Android Tablet. Any information to help me pull the trigger on this purchase would be fantastic! Just like you lovely ladies! 😉

Because that list constantly changes…we don’t. Sorry. My honest best opinion…message TinyCo. As they test all sorts of devices compatibility with their game. I know older versions struggle. And brand new ones do only because it’s common for things to take a bit to be able to function with programming that never existed before. I’ve not personally messed with the device, so I don’t know it’s limits or issues with apps.
I also suggest this (I’ve done this too) try to go somewhere local if at all possible and try it WITH the app. Your case that’s hard as you said you can’t get your hands on one. So I revert to my first thought…ask them. See if they’ve found any issues.

How do you change your Google mail account but still keep your game data

If you are wanting to change the way you log in…this is the FIRST thing you need to do.
Menu, Account, lower right corner…take a screenshot or write down that LOOOOOOONG number. It is your Player ID and it is critical to keep handy in case ANYTHING ever happens to your game. That will be your lifeline back to it.
Once you have that done, this next part will depend on how YOU signed in. If you chose option of just an email…then you need to contact TinyCo for more help.
If you chose Gmail (g+) or Facebook, you should see the option to DELETE in blue. Tap on that and it will delete your link to the Facebook or g+ account you linked with.
Once the link is gone, then go ahead and link to whatever option you would like next. Just make sure you select the game level account you are on to link back to the new option.
If you run into any issues, please reach out to them. Again…Player ID is critical to have handy.

Just play at a pace that works for you. If you are a freemium player, you must understand you have to PLAY to win it. If you are Premium, then you PAY to win it. Those are the options. Winning items, especially now with all the changes TinyCo makes…it is very likely to get a really good portion for free, BUT the sacrifice is you WILL have to put in more time to do it. It is the trade out. Pay or Play.
As far as Steve…ALL American Dad ends on December 4th. So you have til then.
