Is there a way to reduce the storage requirements for FG? It is using 2gb on my iPad.

You can try to clear out some items by ensuring your game is saved to an email or Facebook. Then clear the cache and data for the App from your device, uninstall, reinstall a new fresh download from the Apple Store, then LOAD your saved file on the Level you left on back onto the device to see if that helps. These types of games though will take up a LOT of space. Not really a way around it. Just clean up what you can. In the game try to store the items you really don’t need right now. It will help in the long run for your device to function easier too without a cluttered and cramped town.
Other than that, you can let TinyCo know the amount it takes your device to run it and see if they have any additional suggestions.

Did you look at all the ins and outs? There are specific questlines that have to be completed fully. Every task done. Then you move forward.
List for me EVERY task title name & Part # you have open in your task menu right now. Then we can go from there.

Only if you do not save your game to an Email of Facebook. If you are already linked… you are fine. I would suggest storing a bunch of items when you get back in. Help your device if it is struggling with the drain of memory the game is using.

I haven’t seen this question posted before. I still have the Pawtucket Brewery active and Chumba Wumbas running around my Quahog. My characters can still do all the quests for items needed to craft items in the brewery (and I have crafted every item multiple times.). Is this normal behavior? It seems like that event ended and it no longer serves any purpose to earn those components or have Chumba Wumbas running around.

How many “multiple times”? Each one at its very limit? If not… keep going till ALL are at limit.
If questline done… use Stewie to clear remaining guys

I am on the takei quest, and I don’t have the task for peter to write on george Takei’s facespace. It’s not there when I click on peter

Did you check through all his skins to see if it is a specific one? I am also trying to remember if you need to have a specific building out for it.

I checked through all of his skins and it’s not there. The task is over on the side with all the other tasks, but it’s not under any of the skins for peter. I don’t have the anime skin quite yet. Could I need that skin?

You sure it is Peter write on George’s and not the other way around?
If it is the one where TAKEI writes on Peter’s FaceSpace… you need the Cat & Mouses Cafe for it.

All I can offer than is TinyCo. It may be as simple as not having the Building he needs to use in the game. At times the tasks won’t show at all unless you have that item in the game. Sometimes it will list it is needed and a “GO” option, other times just nothing.

Hello again Bunny, sorry if I’m asking to many questions , I’m feeling like it’s getting annoying, but you’ve been pretty helpful so far , so here’s my nest question. Do you know , or could you point me in the right direction of any info of possibly a chart , showing what my money is going to actually clear , when I use my lil Mexican buddies to ” clear blocks” for me? It appears that I only have 2 little blocks left 1 for $70 & the other gorgeous $80,000, and they are currently in the process of clearing the one for $75gs as I type. My concern is I’ve had it happen ,or ag least I noticed once or twice that after I cleared a block , another leaf blower symbol would pop up behind it & I’m hoping & really wanna know if that’s gonna happen on these 2 big $ lots?

Just the basics of playing the game. You will have a main questline running and a few side ones each District. You will need land. It will come in HUGE use as you grow your town. Just do what you can when you can.
As for an actual Land Map… I do not think we ever put one together for the site. Mainly just the info as each District released, which is the main time and one of the ONLY times that Land is handed out.

Ok, well I kinda wish I woulda taken screen shots and made one since I stared , so mabye I coulda helped someone else in the future.:( anywho I guess I shoulda mentioned that the last 3 blocks I have to, & am unlocking are strange to me because they are the 3 most expensive in the game , yet have been available for clearing since the very start!? They are far left center and far left bottom. So I’m obviously going to get more land tomorrow when district 9 gets unlocked, but it just struck me as odd..

They are not really sectioned off as normal plots either. I think that is more why it made it difficult for us to “map” it. Some where one strip, some double, others a complete square chunk. It just varies all over the place.

Update:
The final 2 properties that I had to still unlock for 75 & 80 G’s have turned out 3 more I have had to open , costing 85 , 90 & $105,000!!! Needless to say ( but I’m sayin it anywho) I was abit pissed off ,lol, but at least I’m pretty sure that’s gonna be the last of them , if not I’ll check back, have a great holiday weekend.

Hey Fellow Quahogians, (& Bunny & staff) , I wanted to post a comment because I was curious to see if anyone else uses the same method as me for making sure I always have plenty of ca$h. I have about 85% of my Quahog lined ( 50 across by 10 to 25 in different areas wide) with Standard Offices. I use the offices since they make the most XP 7.5ph & $ the fastest & can be bought with money, there are 3 others , but they have to be bought with clams, Dansu Dansu, Family Jewels ,Coffee Shop.
Anyone else using this method?

As space gets more and more limited… many do not opt for “house farming” options. They may just in the beginning, but only $$$ ones and not Clam ones. Then… tuck them away. You get to a point that money isn’t really a major issue.

Yeah I figured that too, but as of right now, I’m leaving enough space to purchase whatever is available or needed for quests , and until I purchase all of the property ( aka leaf blower fields) which will be by next week and can buy the Lincoln statue & dictator Stewie plus whatever other expensive things I gotta get ,then I figured I could liquidate all of my offices and spread out my town to look really sweet , instead of OCD compacted like I have it now, HECK , mabye I’ll even put some streets back in Quohog!! Lol

Hey Bunny , I just purchaced the final piece of buy able land to clear ( although there may end up being more later since I’m only up to district 10 ) , but the final piece ended up costing $120K. I hope this helps anyone wanting to know. If I open district 9 & more land clears cost more $ I’ll update.

So I have an iPhone 4 that I play FGtqfs on, but am hoping to get a new/better phone. I’m looking at a Samsung S5.
So my question is, if I download the app on the Samsung will I be able to continue from where I am or will it restart everything
I’m linked to my Facebook but am unsure how it all works.

If you are already linked… it is just a matter of loading the game. Got to get the new on on the new device to the menu pop up first, then sign in, LOAD your game file on the Level you were on, and play on.

I want to restart my game from the beginning. Completely start over. Is there a way to do this?

Wipe everything off your device. Uninstall. Restart device. Reinstall from App Market. Then start a new game and sync your log in to the new level 1. Do NOT load a saved game. Just keep in mind you’ll lose everything. Characters, Materials, Clams, etc

I have QFS on my ipod but it crashes all the time so I have redownloaded it onto my phone. However I want to get my ipod quahog onto my phone but my ipod crashes before I can create an account to save it to…any ideas?

Right now, mainly IF you can access your game from your Facebook. It is the only current way it links to your account in a way.
The only other PC option is the Windows Stand Alone… and as stated… it is a Stand Alone. Not linked in anyway at all to your game. Limited content. Districts only up to #8

Thanks Bunny! I dont have a facebook. But its ok, I make sure to save my phone data & phone storage for my Griffins! No other apps! Lol. I connect to my home wifi to help out also & it works just fine. I did have a windows phone previously but yes as you stated, game play is very different from Amazon/Google Play. That is because it is a skin for the Founding Father. Tap on the green arrow on the image to go to the drop down building skin menu and put the Southern Fried skin on.

Is it the first time you loaded the game on an Android? If so, it will not know your game exists. You got to unlock the menu and log in.
Nest question is did you SYNC the new level one game or did you LOAD your saved game?

So I’ve been playing less than a week and am hooked. Played this morning and there were no problems. Then about an hour ago I tried to log in and am getting the can’t connect to server error code. It’s not my internet, as everything else on my Samsung S5 works just fine. But I can’t figure this out. Totally aggravating. Any ideas??

Ive been following up once a week, and been using the initial reply e-mail where it says to reply above the line and still nothing. new ios update didnt do anything as well. 😦 Does it make sense to send a new message on the tiny co support page or does that just restart the whole process?

You can always try a new email to them, copying and pasting some of the original details. Email help@tinyco.com
Other than that, if you get the pop up to Submit a report for the issue… use that too. Anything to get the info to them.

You are playing on Windows Stand Alone. It is nothing like the Mobile App. It is limited. Districts 1-8 only.

I haven’t been able to play the game since Phase 3 came out. It keeps coming up saying “Error, attempting to display completion modal for non-existant reward”
It then restarts and comes back with the same thing.

It is the error that the Secret Concerts triggered. Try to first make sure your app is up to date in your app market. Then, only if your game is saved, you can try an uninstall/reinstall…. outside of that… Contact TinyCo to fix it.
