We’re taking a break this weekend…but we couldn’t let today go by without saying something. Today is Mother’s Day in the U.S.A. A day when we honor the women who gave us life (or those that represent the “Mother” role to us).
So a GREAT BIG HUGE Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the Mom’s out there from Bunny (me) and Alissa! We hope you have a fantastic day! Maybe you get to sleep in, your kids shower you with breakfast in bed, you get lots of handmade gifts… or… wake up to find the house clean, laundry done, and all the dishes cleaned and put away!
FYI… UPDATE IN APP MARKET: iOS and Google have the 1.21.5 App Update. Ensure you download it to put any patches in place that may impact your game. Amazon and Facebook users, let me know if/when you see it.

It looks like we have been transported back in time to 1999, or is it now? With all the times I hear on the radio or see on the TV “THE END IS NEAR”, I just never know when the world is actually gonna end. Guess I will just have to keep on waiting to kidnap “friends” for my underground shelter. Wait to take out a bunch of Zombies with my real life Maze in the back yard. Wait to see if Twinkies and Cockroaches really do survive anything (well Twinkies almost didn’t survive a company going under”.

Hey there Cheesecakes!
We had a fun lil Contest around “Pi Day” (3.14) to actually give away some REAL Pie to a lucky Addicts Reader.
The responses were fun to go through and a Winner was randomly selected. Congrats Semajmit/ Tim on Winning PIE!! (Cuz we all know cake is a lie!) He has just received his Pies 3/31 in fact (they make them fresh and ship them right after). Yum Yum.

Now because the contest involved shipping actual food, only Addicts inside the US that entered were able to qualify to win Pies. HOWEVER because we at the Addicts do like to spoil our Readers with “Stuff” and include everyone we possibly can, we also had a random Non-US resident selected to get an Addicts Prize of our choosing.

Have you checked out the date today?! Today just so happens to be 3-14 or in the world of Geeks, Pi Day. As 3.14 is the short short short version for the symbol Pi. (Click here for more info on Pi.) Not to mention one of the Geeks of ALL Geeks, Albert Einstein, just so happens to have his birthday fall on 3-14. Seriously! It is quite a celebrated day. The College Kids at Princeton REALLY get into it each year. Just check this out.
