The 4th of July Event is upon us and I know you’re all clamming to get the info! See what I did there? 😉
So with that in mind here’s the full quick walkthrough for the event. This includes the tasks for Jealous Peter, Patriotic Games & United Slides of America!
Let’s get everything off with a bang shall we?
Jealous Peter Pt. 1
Peter starts
Craft Rollerblading Bikini Peter
Here’s what’s required to unlock him:
25 Cutoffs Common– Earned By: Make Bruce Spangle Some Stars and Stripes; OR Make Quagmire Steal Grease for Lube; OR Make Chris Eat Deep Fried Snack Cakes; OR Get from Shihoopy Carnival Stall. Everything is 1hr long. So 1 hr tasks and 1hr for item to drop from stall. Chris and Quamire’s tasks require Deep Fried Everything, Bruce’s task requires Stars and Skates.
15 Bikini Tops Uncommon- Earned by: Make Lois Skate Sexily; OR Make Bonnie Skate Sexily; OR Get from Traumatized Fish Carnival Stall. Everything is 2hrs long. So 2hr tasks and 2hrs for item to drop from stall. The tasks require Stars and Skates to complete.
10 Rollerskating Pony Rare– Get from Jerome Buy Cups for Stacked-Cup Drink; OR Make Mort Complain About Kosher Options; OR Get from Giggity-up Carnival Stall. Everything is 4hrs long. So 4hr tasks and 4hrs for item to drop from stall. Mort’s task requires Deep Fried Everything, but Jerome’s task does not require any of the new buildings.

Peter starts
Have Peter Spin– 4hrs, Earns $50, 30xp
Jealous Peter Pt. 3
Peter starts
Have Peter Sexy Skate– 8hrs, Earns $80, 50xp
Patriotic Games Pt. 1
Peter starts
Build the Deep Fried Everything Restaurant– $4,400, 12hr build
Patriotic Games Pt. 2

Chris and Peter Fat Leapfrog– 12hrs, Earns $250, 165xp

And that’s it…every task associated with the 4th of July Event! Not too long of an event, which is good considering it ends on the 11th!

Family Guy Addicts 
I wasn’t able to open my game all week! I deleted files, I restarted, I even restored from a backup! nothing. Finally (taking a chance that I had created an email account with the game) reinstalled. I still have to restart the 4th gen iPodTouch every time I want to play the game (& wait for the game to crash once, then it works on the 2nd try), but at least I can play again. Funny, it ran smoothly during the recreated tutorial. I hope more districts doesn’t mean I won’t be able to play on an older device because it’s too heavy. hopefully that won’t be an issue going forward (good thing I’m playing freemium + free iTunes gift cards for clams)!
after going through the tutorial (fun to see again) & logging in again, I found myself clearing the dancing horses but a ways off from everything else (it had lost my last few sports bras). who’d’a thunk it? clearing the horses instead of the other stuff?! So I immediately minimized the game to save it! (is there a known auto save time? after 15 mins or so? it seems like there is a setting – as seen from multiple crashes – but I haven’t figured out when it is yet).

The game’s auto-save has a few seconds lag time. That’s why if it crashes immediately after you get an item, the item will be gone when you log back into the game (didn’t have time to save the event).

If I already have the bikini skating peter, will his tasks still be around after July 11? Or will they disappear with the rest of the event stuff?

Is the mystery box connected to 4th of July, or does it stay in the game? After spending $300.000 on the box (receiving clam once) I’m more keen on saving my money. There’s gonna be a lot of ground cleaning the next few weeks…

99.9% sure it will leave with the update. However, you never know TinyCo has been known to change things mid-update before.

Is there a walk through on the jealous Peter line? I finished the 8 hour mission which I thought was only part two but wasn’t prompted to start another mission. Everyone is free at the moment. Am I missing something or is it only a two part quest line?

I hope I having missed any posts about this, so I’m gonna have to ask…
Does Rollerskating Peter costume disappear at the end of the event on July 11th? Just need 8 ponies, but if the ability to get the costume ends on the 11th maybe I will have to fork out 100 clams for the horse game that always drops ponies. Is the clams worth it?

Yes it leaves, it’s a limited time event outfit. I bought the “games” after I unlocked the outfit because I think they look cool, but it’s a choice you need to make for yourself. Do YOU think it’s worth the clams? That’s the real question.

I cant seem to get the sunburst fireworks its the only one I need for the water park I got 10 of the small ones in a row and i can only open them evey couple hours cuz thats how long it takes for me to earn 2000 coins. Im not complaining I know its completely random im just worried I wont get the water park and it looks like the took away the option to buy it probably because everyone was freaking out. I dont see it in my shop anywhere I wanted to have the option to get it with clams on the last day in case I didnt get that last kind of fireworks. do u know if it will show back up in the shop now that everyone is completely informed of the option to win it?

I was literally going to say the same, Lunasb1026. But as I was about to click post, I got a notification that my characters were done and I collected the coins. I had 2k, so I thought I’d give it another shot. And what do you know… it was the last kind of firework.
So keep trying. Eventually, it’ll happen. Even if you have as much bad luck as me :p. #tookme30000tokensdamnit

Your good vibes worked! I built my water park today on beach by asia town. Now I can stop opening those boxes I was sarting to run out of attractive places to put my fireworks.

I think there’s something to be said for using you last coins on buying fireworks, and getting the sunburst, as I had 80,000 coins saved up and only when I used my last 2000 did I get the sunburst. I’d saved up quite a lot of coins while there wasn’t much to do on the game, so perhaps they are trying to get other people who have done the same to use up all their coins so they buy more, so you only get the sunburst as you are about to run out.

I really hope not. I just missed getting him during that event – I lost a couple days of item harvesting due to a crash-on-load bug. I only needed 4 more hours for him. 😦

Is there a part of this site for people to announce their Facebook names for mutual liking? It’s a scary thought that I have absolutely, positively no use for Facebook whatsoever EXCEPT for this game. My wife keeps the social calendar for our family and keeps up to date with people… So I have her as my only friend and Quahog in my multiverse. I know there is an ability to set permissions, such that FGTQFS friends will only be/see just that… I never check or post things to Facebook, so my only purpose in adding friends is to get more clams and coins from others who play FGTQFS… If anyone wants to add me, my wife setup a pretty freakin’ feminine Facebook name of Tonerfeline for me. I don’t even know how to add people, so invite me, and I’ll like you back, to invite via FGTQFS afterwards. Start a list somewhere so we can all collaborate and check out each other’s Quahogs?

Do yall know the drop rates of the Colossal Firework? Been goin at it for a couple of days, but haven’t been able to get that one to drop.
Is it just RNG, or is there a better time of day to try to get it?

They are set at a slightly lower drop % than the other three. Just be patient, I had one of each pop out of the box my first 4 tries……then no colossal’s for a bit while I tried for 20 clams….now they drop all the time. But, it never hurts to try different tactics. 1 every hour or 5 in a row (if nothing more than to keep it interesting) 😉

Just finished off the costume, and when I clicked on Peter to end his eye ripping fun, I got my third eyeball! Once this all finishes I can finish off Tricia too 🙂

Finaly ive got peter skating around in his bra 🙂 Just wanted to ask if anyone knows what happens to the fireworks after the event do we keep them as decorations or will they all go off in a big display ?

Anything that you buy or “win” in the game is yours to keep. The mystery box will vanish, however.

What I’d really like to see is that they day after an event is over things like the carnival stalls be available for purchase with coins instead of clams. During the event, thet cost clams since they drop items, but once the event is over, they are pretty much just a decoration. It would be nice if we had a one day window to spend some coins so we could add more stuff to our towns. The stalls are nice to look at, but not nice enough to spend clams when you’ve already got all the items you need through tasks.

I was lucky enough open up this last costume pretty quickly. I finished all the short quests but now I just have to wait until the event ends. Just wish they would a little bit more. Also I spend 100K on the mystery boxes and no clams 😦

Ugh I’m so addicted to this darn game… All my friends know when the alarm on my phone goes off, I check out with them and check into my Quahog. Zero exceptions. Finished all 4th of July events last night. This was a solid event, IMO. Just the right amount of difficulty. Nice work TinyCo.

..done with skate peter, now back to completing my last 2 achievements, make peter shipoopi 100 times (probably only abt 30 so far) and collect 500,000 coins (got ~420,000) definitely need a new district soon. n yes, im a freemium player

..no i mean when u go to the menu, then under “achievements” there’s about 28 random tasks u can complete. i was nvr prompted abt these ‘achievements’ either just happened to see them when checkn out the menu options

when it says make peter drink at the clam 50 times, is it pirate peter with the day task or regular peter 8 hour task, i think it is..?? i just need that and the shapoopii achievement for all

There are achievements built into the game if you go to the screen where your inventory is. I am working on those two achievements as well but have only made Peter Shipoopi about 20 times so far and have in the 384k range. Some of them are much easier to get and just add to the game a bit

Can you get the drink at the clam achievement for 50 times on the 1-hour task “hang out at the clam” or do you have to do pirate Peter’s 12-hour “drink at the clam?”

Finished the Costume early today and only have 3 hours left on Jealous Peter 3. Did anyone else have a weird thing where every single bikini dropped from bonnie and never from lois?

Hell.. my Bonnie and Lois are dropping them every time! My cut-offs and bikinis are both 1 away from completion. For some reason the cut-offs were not dropping “common” at first.
Now, if only the dang pony would drop!!!

The 12-hour build for the water park must be recent. I placed mine instantly built with no wait when I got it for free after I placed the four types of fireworks from the quest.

You can place them now, but will have to wait until he’s done leap frogging. He will ask you to place them then the dialog box with a check mark showing the task is done will appear.

Personally I think Peter already has way too many costume (I understand Peter is Family Guy’s main character but still someone like Bonnie who has 0 costumes should have received it.

It is going ok so far. Almost completed getting all required items for new Peter. Was wondering when are the remaining four characters going to be unlocked? It’s just weird seeing them in the character screen with a lock on them with no clue how or when.

I’m pretty happy with it so far. I got the water park all the shorts and bikini tops and have half the skating ponies. Not bad for still having five days days left to unlock the rest. Shouldn’t be a problem. I like that there were multiple characters for each item, and none that were used for multiple items so I didn’t have to chose which item to concentrate on and neglecting another.

Pee Pants Peter was part of the very first event Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, and so was only available for a limited time. While he isn’t currently available, we doubt we’ve seen the last of ol’ Pee Pants.

I never unlocked him in time either. I was like a pie or two (or whatever) short. He DID still pop up in the costume shop though and I was able to finish him off for something like 25 clams. I don’t know if he would’ve still appeared or if me still seeing him was a bug, but I managed to buy him in spite of not being able to complete his actual quest.
I’m just disappointed that I’m a special item off from him being able to do all of his tasks. Same with Adventure Peter. Have him unlocked, but never got the fart of the covenant.
