TinyCo has dropped a little weekend mini quest in our laps to go along with the Comic Con Event. Here’s the deal:
More details below….WARNING Spoilers ahead
Basically restore:
– 100 Blam! (4hrs to restore)
-350 Blam! (8hrs to restore)
-1,000 Blam! (16hrs to restore)
And win this….
-Rocket is 3×3 in size. Will be placed in your inventory when you win it.
Total cost 1,450 Blam! and 28 hrs you could win the Rocket! (and yes you need to finish building everything before the weekend is over).
You have until the end of the weekend to win! (3 days, so Monday)
Pretty cool deal…hopefully something similar will be hitting for Android players too!
In addition to the weekend quest, a new Blam! earning premium decoration has been added.
Blam! Sommelier- 700 Clams, Earns 250 Blam!/8hrs
A few more sneak peaks at what’s to come have been released in the game as well….
So it looks like most of the fun won’t start until AFTER it arrives on Android… 🙂

Even though I am an android player, I still wanted to see if I could try getting the free rocket! I see this morning that the upgraded Q Hotel is missing from the event items. Does this mean android players only have to restore all 3 buildings? Or is this something that I am only experiancing? Or is the upgraded Q Hotel something they are taking out of the game temporarily? Any info is much appreciated.

Not sure i’m following what you’re saying.
To get the rocket you have to restore the Q, The Convention Center & the Clamterprise. The prizes you win are not part of the rocket offer.

I did not see it posted any where. Does anyone know exactly when Kindle users have til to unlock the space shuttle? I can not find anything about it in game.

If you look on your task bar to the Left side, there is an image of the rocket with a timer on it. It tells you how much time is left in your 3 days. Do you have it?

I’ve been on this site and the Simpson’s site since I first started playing. I think it’s awesome and it has helped me immensely. I believe I left one comment back during the butt gathering days but that was all. I prefer to simply read other’s posts to gather information but couldn’t resist posting a heartfelt congratulations to you Ms Bunny. Every time you posted anything during your comic-con adventure, I could not help but to smile. You could see the joy in your face and feel it in your writing. Some of us unfortunately aren’t able to go on such amazing journeys so I just wanted to say thank you for letting us experience it through you. You were an excellent avatar and it was greatly appreciated. Again thank you and all the addicts who make this site always feel welcoming and friendly. Keep on hopping.

Upset. I really thought android would also get 46 days on this. But nope. I am not sure why we had to wait a week for nothing special. Going to go cry and keep Peter surfing the bird almost constantly. I haven’t decided if I care enough this time to try as hard as I did with the moon idol event.. I worked my butt off and never got king butt…

There were two App Store Updates, one was last Thursday and one was last night. Did you update to both of them? If you did, and still no event. Hard close your game, uninstall and reinstall it.

Has anyone else been getting the glitch with moon idols? I took some snapshots of it on my phone, i found it hysterical that I was zapping nerds and getting moon idols.

Apparently android users only have 40 days and no special updates that were hinted to take the edge off the late start. Was there something I missed?

TinyCo messaged me back. They said that Android users would be getting more of clam etc… so we could catch up. I have noted down what I have been getting so far and I am going to search and see what the Apple user got. I don’t think we are getting ‘anymore’ than the Apple users got.I will get back into my message and quote what they have said. It installed, playing, so lets see.

I started Quagmire on his 20 hour task right before update dropped. Now it seems I to have to wait until he is done to continue comic con stuff. Unfortunate timing…

Yes, the game is created in the U.S. and the company based on the west coast in California. So all the times are in accordance to U.S. times. Still Wednesday here. 😉

This may have been commented on already, but is it a glitch that the Super Blam! truck and the Gatomobile (and there may be others) won’t stay rotated from side to side? They will rotate when you click on them to move them around, but go back to facing up and down……

Iv decided to go easy on this event and take things casually. My aim on the prizes is going to be Lois and anything after will be a bonus. I burnt myself out on the full moon event and still didn’t get king butt without glitching and at the end of it all he’s pretty useless. I’m sure Takei will be cooler but I’m not overally fussed. I’m sat at about 4,500 blam! And I’m really enjoying the event at the pace I’m going 🙂 unlocked everything bar PT so far but only need 3 more pizza. Fortunately the rocket quest appeared after I had already started repairing the convention center so all I had to do was wait for it to build so no stress there 🙂

I understand the character levels. More levels. More actions.
Please explain the game level. I have not seen a change or benefit in going up game levels.

Short answer, it does nothing. No clams, no bells, no whistles….Nothing. Right now it only moves your town up the list when friends visit you.

Me and my friends love that level we all started on the same day and creates a race for all of us to say nana boo boo I’m better than you!!! I am the highest on my freinds for now that is 38 freind following close behind by 1 level but the real race is who gets stewie! Only 1 uranium away and all I have to use is Brian…. That stinks thanks to the new quest for Patrick Stewart.

My Blam still isn’t being counted correctly whether it’s the Blam you spend or overall prize Blam. It’s disappointing and frustrating to click a Blam can worth 10 or 20 points and it not be counted. I’m just wasting my time tapping like crazy. I’ve even resorted to spending hours with Peters 1 minute task just to try to make up for other Blam not being counted but even those don’t always go through. When will this be fixed????

Hi!!! I love reading this blog and thanks for your concern. It seems to finally be working right on it’s own now. I know I wasn’t making this up because things literally wouldn’t add. I’d watch it before I zapped the nerd till after the can disappeared and the number still wouldn’t change but right now it’s on it’s best behavior and working like TinyCo explains in the Help and Support section. I still never received a response. I just hope it stays working like this. Thanks again fellow addict 😁

I just wanted to say how much it kicks ass that tapping buildings takes precedence over collecting $ and xp. So if you have buildings in close proximity, you can collect them all instead of picking it up one by one. Naw mean? That is super annoying in TSTO. Keep up the good work y’all

Really disappointing they just changed the time for quagmire to watch netchix to 20 hrs instead of 12. Also noticed a new quest line “Patrick Stewart takes on quahog”

Looks like they did make a timing adjustment. Checking with TinyCo to find out the deal. And you are correct, new PS task added.

Looks like if you already started the task it still takes 12 hours. They just added the 8 additional hours to your progress bar.

They also changed it from being a bathrobe Quagmire task to just the regular skin, so that was a waste of 12hrs :-\

Yes, they changed it from bathrobe Quagmire to regular Quagmire (and they changed the length on bathrobe quagmire to 20hrs). My suspicion is it’s done for those who don’t have Bathrobe Quagmire yet, but still want Stewie. OR it’s done so you can still earn Blam! from the task during the event, since Quagmire earns Blam! but bathrobe Quagmire does not.

You are dead on Alissa! Watching Netchix isn’t even a regular Quagmire task. He’s one of few current BLAM collectors so they HAD to do something. They must have a psychology department over at Tinyco, because they clearly realized at this point, a lot of people are ‘close’ on blueprints, thus keeping Quagmire away from earning his BLAM in lieu of their final blueprints (some guy called them battle plans in another post, I loved it!!!).
His ‘costume’ task was only 12 hours, as a reward for having the costume. Plutonium, Meat Chunks, Gloves, Maraccas, Peels, and even Feathers and Bats had TWO characters who could earn them with equal timed tasks. Blueprints had two main ones (Herbert/Bruce) and a bonus one.
It’s almost their way of saying ‘we didn’t quite forget about the people who have costumes and characters beyond the first 3 districts.’

The 12hr & 20hr versions of the task have always been there, I think – I wondered about it after unlocking bathrobe Quagmire. The ‘reward for having the costume’ argument doesn’t do it for me though – a non-visual 12hr task that earns exactly as much $ & xp as the standard (non-visual) 12hr task? Putting aside the reason for the different versions, my theory is that Tiny simply linked the item to the wrong version by mistake – even though I’d love to think that it was a nice gesture to help us speed up our progress 🙂 And although I’m annoyed at wasting 12hrs while my item-dropping task turned into a non-item-dropping task overnight (or did it still drop for anyone else?) I’m also pleased about all of the 8hr chunks I’ve been able to save in the days before they spotted the error. And it wasn’t a complete waste – I did some of that sleep thing 🙂

Noooo!!! A loading error? My game suddenly won’t load! It says “There was a problem loading this save game; some placeables are out of bounds”. What’s does that mean? It was fine 20 minutes ago! And it won’t load the game so I can move whatever is out of bounds! What to do??

My biggest concern is once the iOS event ends, will the hybrid player get to continue on their android for THEIR final week?
I’m talking from a logistical point of view. The event can’t end on the same date, it just can’t (100% my opinion). That being said, will people be locked out of the event on their droid IF they started on iOS? How can they determine the difference?
If I load the game on my android after the update on Thursday, will my timer be reset to 46 days? What happens then, when I switch back to my iOS device? Will the timer flip flop depending on what device I’m currently holding in my hand?
Some deep questions to think about! 🙂 Also, some serious ammunition for the compulsive complainer!
Someone please spitball with me, I’m getting lonely and may just stop posting altogether!!!!

You…Stop posting!?…..Riiiiiight. 😉 I agree that the time frame for android users should be the same (just my opinion, also). Also, just a guess, when you load the game onto android, and then move back to a iOS device, the latest update will take precedence and be used on your iOS device. Again…..just guesses. We will all know the answers to these burning questions soon. 😉

I didn’t notice this was a timed event until I racked up another 1000 blam to unlock Patrick. I hate the fact that it takes that blam out of your “money blam” but not your total to claim the prizes. by the time I got another 1000 for the space shuttle, the event ended.

I am an android user. I am going to use an iphone to log into my Facebook account. Will just logging in to my account kick start the event? Will it if the iPhone doesn’t have the game on it?

The iPhone must have the game loaded. Then you sign into the game with your FB account info. It will then start the event just like it did for us iOS users. When you log back into the game on your droid device, it will still be there. 🙂

Yay! Got the Spaceshuttle! Its a very cool deco but its surprisingly very off scale. 😉 They should have made an animation somewhat like the Clamterprise’s animation. Still Satisfied though. 🙂

With 41 + days on IOS, my blam total is 4919 without any premium purchase! Not sure but i am seriously thinking about that 700 clam Bar purchase just to ensure getting George! I hope that Android gets the same 46 days and a special something exclusive to Android! It is only fair!

I bought the bar today (yes, I broke down) lol. I might buy the super truck also, to help with Blam, but also because I drive a 4×4 and I think it looks cool. 😛

Personally, I wouldn’t purchase any premium item with a 6 hour timer. Committing to 4 hour intervals as a game plan is seriously effective.
2/6/10 hour timers force you to adopt an ‘every other 2 hour cycle’. You can’t keep that up for 42 more days. You will lose efficiency. Maybe not at first, but you will.
You get to choose character tasks, so you can plan them around your day. Buildings are set in stone timers, and every hour they go unharvested is a waste of your timers and clams.
Just a thought 🙂 I think two small trucks would, IN THE END, earn more BLAM than a single 6 hour truck. I base that bold statement on the fact that when you spend clams for these items, you shouldn’t be forced into a 2 hour ‘off’ cycle. You will be tapping just as much as a freemium player, and that’s not why you spend clams.
This isn’t applicable to everyone of course…just the normal FGG player who likes to sleep and have a life.

Wooo Hooooo!!!! Finally got Capt H and Patrick Stewart!!! I love them both plus i got to see the episode today when the family moved to the country and became “entreps”! Would love to see everyone else’s game doing great! I’m sure TC will hookup android with an exclusive prize strictly for them! Personally i think they deserve one!

Even though I’m slowly making some progress on this game yesterday I got the convention center opened and won the rocket got hammered Peter unlocked and today I unlocked Patrick Stewart but I still have only managed since the beginning of the event to rack up 4620 blam so there is no way I can possibly win everything in this event because I refuse to spend clams on blam trucks and blam bars I still need to banana Stalmach PB&J Brian which is required to unlock stewie who I still need 19 blueprints for and 3 plutonium plus I still need 4 sugars to unlock Carter and I have been playing this game multiple times a day sincd the day it dropped in the Apple market and I am forever behind in this game I feel like I’ll never catch up

I bought 2 of the big Blam trucks and tapping like mad since the event started, including a few hours worth of having Peter surfing bird while I watched tv or surfed the net (peter is surfing right now!)
Still I am only just barely hitting the my daily quota to be on pace to win GT(2222 blam per day).
A guy spends 30 bucks, he shouldn’t have to spend the whole event on pins and needles wondering if he will make it to the final prize. But them’s the breaks, and it keeps me hungry for Blam! lol.

How many clams does it take to speed up the convention center build? I still need 100 blam for 1000, and will then need to speed it up to finish within the next 14 hours. I’m grinding away Peter and hope to have enough with 12 hours left to build & speed it up…

It depends on how much time is left for the build. Generally the clam method is 2 clams for every 1hr of time left.

I have noticed the characters not dropping experience points are the ones dropping blam. Has anyone else ran into this? I so can’t wait till Thursday so I can play the new event. When midnight hits “I will engage” and try to get george takei. He is by far my favorite star trek cast member. I also want nathan fillion. He is so hot. Lol.

XP is generally still earned, just doesn’t pop out of the characters

I noticed once the character’s level is maxed I don’t see XP pop out of them. Peter still earns it for me, but the rest of the Blam earning chars are already maxed.

You never know what the coming weeks have in store. Remember it’s 46 days long and a marathon not a race. It’s designed to be a slow Blam! gain, it keeps you engaged in the game daily. If you unlocked everything the first week….it’s going to be a LONG 46 days

Hi everyone. This is the 2nd time I’ve posted. Been a bit of a lurker until now. I love tjis game. It is the first time I’ve really gotten into gaming. One of the best parts is this site. It is so helpful I think to pkay successfully. Thank you moderators for all uour hard work. I wish Iwould have been in san diego this weekend. It sounded like so h fun. I am going to try and take my daughter next year. It will be our first one and I think we might go in costume. I must say at 42 I am sure this will be a unique experience. I wish the new event had been available for all systems at the same time. Its a shame to see all the unhappiness about it. I hope android users get a really good gift for having to wait. Any idea on what it is? Im trying to get my quahog ready for the 31st. I am still trying to unlock stewie. Since the update very few of my characters are dropping experience points. I contacted tc and hope to hear back. Can this be fixed and will I be able to get them back? Do they respond to people directly? Thanks

Glad you have come out of the shadows. 😉 Thanks for your kind words, also. The XP points don’t always show the icon (known problem), but they do get added to your totals behind the scenes. Umm this is a continuation of what to do with Cleveland. He is locked in my inventory and there doesn’t seem to be a way to move his house out of inventory to re-start trying to unlock him. (I was one thing away from unlocking him during the mummy event and then it ended!) any suggestions? Has anyone else been able to move him out of their inventory with him locked?

Send a message to TinyCo from within the game. Ask them why the Cleveland house can’t be placed. Let them know that it is locked in your inventory, also that you had started to unlock Cleveland before the Full Moon event ended. Let us know what they say. 🙂

I know I’m sooo close to Patrick, like 2 slices of pizza away, sooo want the mutant stewie! But need 2 more plutoniums and pb&j bryan.. Only need 1 sandwhich for him too grrrr lol. Anyone else notice that the game is kinda glitching and your getting golden butts again? Lmao happeneig to me
