Hello There Clammers!
TinyCo dropped another late night update shuffle on is last night. Sometime in the evening a questline extension was added for Patrick Stewart as well as a few more Blam! earning tasks for this celeb.
The new questlines I’m a Writer and Patrick Stewart Takes on Quahog both are relatively short questlines, but have a decent Blam! pay out (569 Blam!). So now let’s get on with the show…and see how Patrick Stewart takes on Quahog!

woohoo all finished started im a writer tfis morning and unlocked Ron Pearlman!! only 13000 sum Blam into the game and only 6 more blueprints for stewie!!

I don’t want to waste 24 hours of patrick getting pesticides to finish patrick’s quest line. this is my first event in quahog and wonder if i can wait till after the end of the event to finish the quest or does it have to be finished before the end of the event? i’m sure it’s the latter but just wondering if it’s worth the time and lost pesticide to finish the quest line.

You should be ok to finish it after the event, however…the benefit to it is to collect more blam! (blam! reward when you finish the quest) So you can skip it…you just might miss out on the extra blam! reward.

thanks for the info. the 100 blam for the 24 hours of time is not worth it. the pesticide i will get will easily make up for it. i’ll wait and finish it later if possible or simply just not finish it. thanks again for the response. i get to keep patrick either way so he’ll have plenty of time for sleepovers at a young boy’s house!!! (related to herbert perhaps??)

So from a strategy perspective, can you finish all of Patrick Stewart’s questlines without Captain Hammered? Then release Mutant Stewie? Just trying to get as much cleared before having people kicked off tasks.

Got clarification…Patrick is not needed to trigger Stewie. And as far as kicking off tasks, that should NOT happen. If it does, alert TinyCo from your game right away.

Actually when I checked the in-game help & support FAQs it does say that the Latcher kicks out characters on tasks
Maybe they changed it? The screens were grabbed Aug 6th

They changed it recently. Initially it said it holds them hostage. Although some players are reporting it still holds theirs hostage.

“Patrick Stewart Takes on Quahog Pt. 5” will be finished today Close to midnight, “I’m a Writer Pt. 1” has not started for me, has the Patrick Stewart Task to be finished before it is triggered?
I also have big problems with finishing my last Task for Stewie. I’m only missing 4 of the 20 Banana Peels: Herbert and Bonnie are constantly doing the 12 hour task in parallel and for days no banana peel is coming 😦

Yes, I started with “I’m a Writer” first because Brian was available but Lois wasn’t. As soon as the quest line ended it started the other. The banana peels slowed for me, also…but then started dropping fast. Just hang in there….you’ll be singing “Peanut Butter and Jelly Time” very soon. 😉

Is it just me or does it seem like sometimes the count of Blam!, as well as the trophy count doesn’t increase?

They log Blam counts at different rates. Read the event outline in the help section of the game for an excellent explanation. 😉

My opened cap ham has a limited time banner across him? Other limited costumes don’t have this ie..80’s cleveland.
Does this mean the costume will disappear after the event ? I hope not. The fab 4 & Stan are all i really want, anyone else earned along the way is pure bonus.

No I think it’s their way of clearly indicating what will disappear once the event is over (disappear as far as being able to win). Once you unlock him, he’s yours 🙂

Oh man, and I’ve only just started unlocking Brian! So far I’ve been really liking that I won’t need Stewie or other advanced characters for the Comic-Con event, and my being behind most Addicts somewhat eases my jealousy over the Android wait since I’m still working to unlock characters and Districts. Thanks so much for these constant updates and tips! I don’t think this game would be quite as fun without y’all Addicts.

I like this quest line for Patrick so far. Right now, I’m having do some of his other tasks to get him to level 5 so he can do hang out with the griffins (that’s where I’m currently at in the quest line), Chris has already done his part of the quest. I’m hoping to have all of this finished before the weekend update. Btw, I’m hoping that characters will be getting level increases soon because I have 13 of the 1st 14 characters (the only 1 currently not maxed is peter) at max (level 15) level & Connie & Tricia are both level 14 & will soon hit 15 too! As for my other characters (I currently have them all), carter is level 6, Stewie is level 5, Cleveland is level 13, king butt is level 8, Patrick Stewart is level 4, Rupert is level 5, consuela is level 14, brain damaged horse is level 14, jake tucker is level 14, buzz killington is level 13 & I forgot to say up above what level peter is, he’s level 18. & I also have all characters costumes/outfits too.

Looks like you’ve got quite a character haul there! I know what you mean about the Level ups. Remember tho, the game is only 3 (almost 4) months old. I’m sure more is on the horizon 🙂

I wish i could play this event, been playing on my ipod touch 4th gen since day one and now since this event, i can no longer visit my town, loading bars gets to the end and then back to homepage. Anyone else getting this??

Who starts the I am Brian tasks. I have completed the earl grey quest line and just have the sleepover to finish on the other. Will it start after this one finishes?

Yes…once you’ve completed the Sleep Over the next part (which Brian starts) will kick in.
