Hello There Clammers!
Well….the end is near! In just a few hrs Comic-Con will officially leave our Tiny Quahogs and things will return back to normal. Well as normal as they get in Quahog!
In an effort to make sure everyone’s on the same page about the end of the event we thought it would be effective to do a wrap up post and answer many of your Comic-Con Event ending questions! So here we go…
When Does Comic-Con End?
Per TinyCo…it’s scheduled to end at 3pm PDT on 9/8.
What Time is that Where I Am?
It’s basically impossible for me to calculate everyone’s different time zones. However, I can tell you that it converts to 6pm EDT and 2200 GMT (or 10pm GMT). If you need more clarification beyond that you can check out this site for a timezone conversion…
Where’s Page 7?
It’s coming today. It’s up now. As soon as ALL of the pages are up we’ll have a fun post showing the whole comic book.
Is There More Coming? Am I Safe to Spend My Blam!?
No new Blam! items are coming into the game. So it’s safe to spend all of your Blam! at this point on items you want. Remember…you have to use it or you lose it.
I Didn’t Finish Collecting For Stripper Bonnie, Will I Lose her?
No. Stripper Bonnie has been extended beyond Comic Con. In fact it has no end date. As long as you start Hostess with the Mostest Questline (in order to get this you have to have won Red Hot) you’ll be able to continue on with her AFTER Comic-Con. So no rush to get those items!
But I Spent Clams to Speed Her Up, Will TinyCo Refund me?
I don’t know. All I can say is you can try. Don’t expect an answer back on it today though…they’re trying to wrap up all the other Comic-Con issues to ensure the ending is smooth.
Will Bonnie’s New Stripper Pole Be Around After the Event?
Yes. ALL of Stripper Bonnie will be around after the event. This includes her pole. As long as you start part 1 of Hostess with the Mostess BEFORE Comic Con ends you can unlock Stripper Bonnie and her Pole AFTER the event ends.
How About My Blam! Refund for Reactors?
If you purchased reactors at the higher price, before they lowered it, and sent in a refund request….in most cases they’ve already responded and refunded the Blam! to you. If you have not heard back yet….they’re working to get through the last few before the end of the event.
I Purchased Mutant Stewie And I Got Iron Baby, But I Don’t See Them in Al Harringtons OR My Inventory. Where Are They?
If you currently do NOT have Stewie unlocked you won’t see them in your game until AFTER you’ve unlocked Stewie. Once you unlock Stewie they’ll both appear in Al’s.
If you currently have Stewie and aren’t seeing either costume in Al Harringtons contact TinyCo. This could be a glitch with your game.
Only Contact TinyCo if You HAVE Stewie Unlocked and can’t find them. If you don’t have Stewie Unlocked and can’t find them they won’t show until you’ve unlocked Stewie.
And YES you must collect all the reactors AND Demon Plating in order to get Iron Baby after the event ends…
Will the Celebrities and Superheros Leave When The Event Leaves?
Yes and No. IF you’ve fully unlocked a celebrity OR Superhero they will stay in your Quahog FOREVER (even if you don’t have the questline finished). As long as you’ve fully unlocked them (ie they’re a playable character in your town) they’re yours to keep. However, if you haven’t finished unlocking them they will leave when the event is over.
What Happens to the Questlines I’m Not Finished With?
Any Comic-Con related questlines (except for Bonnie, Rollocop and Iron Baby) will leave with the event.
(Note: Rollocop MUST be created BEFORE the event ends or you will miss out on getting him. Also, Part 1 of Iron baby MUST be created before the event ends (Reactors and Demon Plating must be collected). And Part 1 of hostess with the mostess MUST be complete in order to unlock Stripper Bonnie after the event)
What Happens to All my Excess Harpoons, Batteries & Bombs?
They’ll leave with the event too. Use them or lose them.
What Happens to Comic-Con Buildings In my Quahog?
If YOU built the building and it’s in your Quahog (ie you spent Clams or Blam! on it) it’s yours to keep forever. Any buildings in the store will leave when the event leaves…ie buildings you haven’t purchased. So make sure you take this opportunity to purchase any other buildings you may want in your town before they’re gone forever.
What About the Q, Convention Center and Calmterprise?
The ones that are part of the Comic-Con District will leave when the event leaves. The ones you won will stay in your town. So basically the whole Convention Center District will be leaving once the event is over…
What About The Director Chairs For Characters I’ve Unlocked? Where Are they?
They should be placed in your inventory once the event ends. This applies to chairs for Patrick, Ron, Felicia and Stan. The Chairs for Bryan, Nathan and George should already be in your town if you’ve unlocked them.
What Buildings Will be Leaving with the Event?

Is it worth spending 400 clams on Cranston? I don’t really want the blank slot in my Facespace but I don’t really have any interest in him.

Well, I rushed Iron Baby a few times to top off my high tech harpoons in hopes that the next required harpoon trade in would be either of the other two (I have 86 and 128 of the others), but no, it wants another round of high tech. I think that makes 6 of the last 7. Luckily, the blam I got from the trade in got me the last blam box unique prize, so all I’m really missing out on would be the up to 12 or 13 blam promo box attempt that those unused harpoons could be traded for. I had a decent run of luck getting clams from them in the past, so I had hoped that the clams I wagered rushing Iron Baby’s task would pay off in both that Giant Stewie deco as well some clams back. At least I got the decoration, and I was certainly prepared to have wasted my clams. Like they say, don’t bet what you can’t lose.

I think this was a great event, but i hope some things will change in future events:
– currently i’m sitting on about 150 harpoons i cannot use due to having some bad luck with randomness
– blam blowout got me 48 more batteries that are now useless (in addition to those that were too numberous to use all anyway)
It would be really nice to have a chance to use all of those items at the end of an event (maybe a switch in the last 12-24 hours to turn off randomness on items like harpoons and always use the ones that you have the most of) and a some way to “waste” items like batteries on (also in the final 12-24 hours of an event)
While sitting on over 60 bombs it would be great to have a way to blow them out too, it might be hard to code a limit for such items (maybe a shorter spwantime could be a solution?)
Anyway, i think this event was really fun to play….

Only free stuff that I missed is Multiplier case because I was unlucky to win one. Anyway, I hope that we will get the Comic Con building for free after the event as we get that pyramid.

My last 2 blam boxes I was hoping for the giant stewie decos but instead I get modern harpoons when I’m on older harpoons and 12 batteries seriously wth am I supposed to do with 12 more batteries come on now. 😛

Pretty much have everything Blam-wise for the event. I got everyone bar Bryan Cranston, and should be good for everything. Given nothing else is due, I think I might just spend the remaining time for mystery boxes and see if I can get extra clams. It’s been a fun event, I really don’t know how they will top this, but I’m sure they have a plan up their sleeve, they seem to always do.

I managed to get all the promo box items, but like so many, I now have a plethora of bombs and batteries. Oh well.
My three characters going for the last pair of heels I need were skunked in the last round. That means I wouldn’t have gotten the Stripper on collections alone by at least a few hours. I would have been willing to blow 10 clams to cover that last pair of shoes though.

Not happy to hear that there’s not gonna be inclusion of any more blam boxes or blam prizes i’m still sitting at a little over 18,000 Blam I quit buying the boxes after the last four I bought I got 24 batteries and 12 missiles I will not be able to use before the end of this events and five harpoons that do me no good so I’m currently sitting at 61 aold-time harpoons and 63 high-tech harpoons and 2 modern harpoons and I’m stuck at needing 25 modern harpoons to destroy demon stewie

Be careful buying the spotlights. I decided to buy a bunch and stick them into storage. I figured they might be a great decorating addition later. But after buying a bunch and then putting them into storage I found out that you can only store 20. All of the others that I bought and stored just got deleted from my game. So if you buy the spotlights for decorations don’t store them.

I just converted all my blam and managed to bank 175 clams, not bad at all! I certainly helps offset the cost of BC. I now also have 198 bombs, but think I will give the demon stewies a reprieve. I can’t go on.

I give this event 10 out of 10 clams (or Blams 😉 ). I’ve collected 300K+ Blam, unlocked everything and played freemium all the way. I could even buy Nathan Fillion for the free clams we’ve gotten throughout these past weeks! And I would have had clams to spare to unlock the last of Stripper Bonnie. I’m taking my hat off for TinyCo, it’s been fun all the way. And thank YOU, Addicts, for all the great updates, all the tips and everything else you’ve provided (BunnyCon, what the hell fridays et cetera et cetera), it’s been at least 50% of the fun!

Still wish they would do a blam exchange at least for the batteries since theyre the ones that limit our use by only having the latchers only respawn every couple hours. Everything else you can use anytime so I can understand no exchange for them.

So any quest or building currently in progress stays? I started Felicia ‘ yogurt building and realized it would be past event end time when finished. Though since harpoons are gone, Sheamus’ 1d harpoon quest should end and free him up (I miscalculated last night and thought I would get one from him before end. He will be unavailable for about 1.5 hours so no big deal).

I was a bit disappointed in the last weekend – I only saw that stripper Bonnie was staying this morning, by which point I’d had my fabulous 4 Charachters spending an effectively wasted weekend not earning Harpoons, and doing Bonnie tasks.
And for all that ‘use it or lose it’ applies, all this weekend demon Stewie has just been asking for Modern harpoons. So I’ve 4 of them left, and 50 odd each of the others.
I also have 80 something bombs and batteries. Can I not swap them for Blam! To enable me to get a last few mystery boxes? They’re all wasted, otherwise.
Having said all that, I got all the other possible freemium Charachters/players/decorations 10 days ago (except mutant Stewie, as all my Blam went on trying to get clams out of mystery boxes), so can’t really complain about the event overall. Just feel a bit let down by it ending with a damp squib.

I’m almost Blammed out. I have everything I wanted and some I didn’t .
Don’t need 143 batteries or 46 bombs. Still have 6k Blam may try for some clams. I played this game like I’m addicted. I had George unlock on Aug. 19. Bonnie is very close to being done. And I’m working Asian town also. I have lots of coins too. My sister-in-law thinks I’m a little competitive. Well maybe just a little. Started playing in middle of June. And I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Yup those questlines (Iron Baby noted in post) will stay. However, costumes must be created. Although in the case of Iron baby demon plating and reactors must be collected.

With a few hours left in the event. When do you think it’s time to spend the remaining Blam? We are still waiting on the last comic page. I loved the event, the best to date! Almost got EVERYTHING…. except the Blowup Blam 😦 I didn’t want to grind clams for it after i cleared the other cool stuff.
As of 9:35 am I have 135 bombs 217 batteries 79/89/6 harpoons
522,882 overall Blam & 201,000 remaining Blam
