Well….the end is near! In just a few hrs Comic-Con will officially leave our Tiny Quahogs and things will return back to normal. Well as normal as they get in Quahog!
In an effort to make sure everyone’s on the same page about the end of the event we thought it would be effective to do a wrap up post and answer many of your Comic-Con Event ending questions! So here we go…
When Does Comic-Con End?
Per TinyCo…it’s scheduled to end at 3pm PDT on 9/8.
What Time is that Where I Am?
It’s basically impossible for me to calculate everyone’s different time zones. However, I can tell you that it converts to 6pm EDT and 2200 GMT (or 10pm GMT). If you need more clarification beyond that you can check out this site for a timezone conversion…
Where’s Page 7?
It’s coming today. It’s up now. As soon as ALL of the pages are up we’ll have a fun post showing the whole comic book.
Is There More Coming? Am I Safe to Spend My Blam!?
No new Blam! items are coming into the game. So it’s safe to spend all of your Blam! at this point on items you want. Remember…you have to use it or you lose it.
I Didn’t Finish Collecting For Stripper Bonnie, Will I Lose her?
No. Stripper Bonnie has been extended beyond Comic Con. In fact it has no end date. As long as you start Hostess with the Mostest Questline (in order to get this you have to have won Red Hot) you’ll be able to continue on with her AFTER Comic-Con. So no rush to get those items!
But I Spent Clams to Speed Her Up, Will TinyCo Refund me?
I don’t know. All I can say is you can try. Don’t expect an answer back on it today though…they’re trying to wrap up all the other Comic-Con issues to ensure the ending is smooth.
Will Bonnie’s New Stripper Pole Be Around After the Event?
Yes. ALL of Stripper Bonnie will be around after the event. This includes her pole. As long as you start part 1 of Hostess with the Mostess BEFORE Comic Con ends you can unlock Stripper Bonnie and her Pole AFTER the event ends.
How About My Blam! Refund for Reactors?
If you purchased reactors at the higher price, before they lowered it, and sent in a refund request….in most cases they’ve already responded and refunded the Blam! to you. If you have not heard back yet….they’re working to get through the last few before the end of the event.
I Purchased Mutant Stewie And I Got Iron Baby, But I Don’t See Them in Al Harringtons OR My Inventory. Where Are They?
If you currently do NOT have Stewie unlocked you won’t see them in your game until AFTER you’ve unlocked Stewie. Once you unlock Stewie they’ll both appear in Al’s.
If you currently have Stewie and aren’t seeing either costume in Al Harringtons contact TinyCo. This could be a glitch with your game.
Only Contact TinyCo if You HAVE Stewie Unlocked and can’t find them. If you don’t have Stewie Unlocked and can’t find them they won’t show until you’ve unlocked Stewie.
And YES you must collect all the reactors AND Demon Plating in order to get Iron Baby after the event ends…
Will the Celebrities and Superheros Leave When The Event Leaves?
Yes and No. IF you’ve fully unlocked a celebrity OR Superhero they will stay in your Quahog FOREVER (even if you don’t have the questline finished). As long as you’ve fully unlocked them (ie they’re a playable character in your town) they’re yours to keep. However, if you haven’t finished unlocking them they will leave when the event is over.
What Happens to the Questlines I’m Not Finished With?
Any Comic-Con related questlines (except for Bonnie, Rollocop and Iron Baby) will leave with the event.
(Note: Rollocop MUST be created BEFORE the event ends or you will miss out on getting him. Also, Part 1 of Iron baby MUST be created before the event ends (Reactors and Demon Plating must be collected). And Part 1 of hostess with the mostess MUST be complete in order to unlock Stripper Bonnie after the event)
What Happens to All my Excess Harpoons, Batteries & Bombs?
They’ll leave with the event too. Use them or lose them.
What Happens to Comic-Con Buildings In my Quahog?
If YOU built the building and it’s in your Quahog (ie you spent Clams or Blam! on it) it’s yours to keep forever. Any buildings in the store will leave when the event leaves…ie buildings you haven’t purchased. So make sure you take this opportunity to purchase any other buildings you may want in your town before they’re gone forever.
What About the Q, Convention Center and Calmterprise?
The ones that are part of the Comic-Con District will leave when the event leaves. The ones you won will stay in your town. So basically the whole Convention Center District will be leaving once the event is over…
What About The Director Chairs For Characters I’ve Unlocked? Where Are they?
They should be placed in your inventory once the event ends. This applies to chairs for Patrick, Ron, Felicia and Stan. The Chairs for Bryan, Nathan and George should already be in your town if you’ve unlocked them.
What Buildings Will be Leaving with the Event?
Here’s a list of all the buildings that you can purchase before the event ends. Once it ends these will no longer be available for purchase:

Looks like the event has come to an end for me but I checked my inventory and there are no director chairs for the other characters is this a known error or is there some sort of hard restart kinda trick to get them to appear…… thanks for the help

Figured it out I had to restart my phone and once I did and restarted the app they were in the store under decos for a outstanding price of free lol hope this helps other that had the same issue

Loved the event, eventually converted me from the other game, just slightly disappointed that they didn’t give us the Comicon building at the end, like they did with the pyramid and museum with the previous event 😦

Right at the deadline, the game went “no connection” while in-game. 40 minutes after and it is still hit or miss getting back into it (any transition to friends towns, or inventory, or just sitting still has a chance to have a brief no connection issue). Definitely is on their end, as all other connectivity works.
One problem, wondering if anyone else can confirm. The celebrity chairs mentioned above did NOT appear in my inventory (nothing new appeared at all), but I have all four celebrities. Anyone else see this?

Sure wish I would’ve read this prior to the event’s end. I only had 6 stockings left to get Stripper Bonnie, so I burned 60 clams to unlock her. I thought I had read previously that she was only available during the event. As a freemium player, those come at a premium. 😦 Aside from that, I really enjoyed this event.

Overall, this was way better than the King Butt event. I had enough time to earn everything I wanted on a (mostly) freemium basis. My only qualm is that there wasn’t enough time to complete all the quests. The characters and costumes all took so long to unlock that I didn’t have most of them until last Friday. Not able to finish their quests over the weekend. I’m glad I have them, but I wonder what bits of story I’m missing..

Well the event is over for me. Was just logged in an hour ago and no page 7 so i held off on spending leftover blam on mystery boxes . Logged back in at 6:05 and i have to reload the game. Didnt get to spend the blam and never got to see page 7 . Spent some real world dough sunday to hurry up some of the events to be ready for a page 7 showdown and nothing. Huge letdown and i feel a little ripped off after sunday . Hadnt spent any real money on this event until then and no payoff. Boo ..

if you keep the game open it appears to prolong the event. I just hard restarted and the event ended, at 25 past. may not last long but helpful if you’re super close and desperate! (may keep asking to reconnect, mine did)

Just letting you know, in my town Rollocop’s questline ended with the event. Not too bothered as I would only gain coins (and I have over 600000) but would’ve liked to have seen the dialog. Nevermind. Thanks guys!

Yeah, I used clams to speed up his last task. Even though they said it would stay…. I didn’t trust it. Kinda a waste though. Used clams for 50 blam and a “Yay, we had sex!” dialog from Bonnie. Poor Bonnie. 😉

If it matters, I am an iOS player, I kicked off the Rollocop stuff with Bluestacks, then played the rest of the way on my iPad. I did unlock the costume, and Joe is still wearing it, just no quest line.

And just like that it’s over… Lived this event! Oops, I meant LOVED, but I’ll leave that there cuz it too is pretty accurate, and I know I’m not the only one! I won every winnable prize/character/costume, bought a few premium items (had to have Brian Cranston’s trailer even though I decided not to buy him) and overall now I can’t see how my Quahog will ever not be comic Con themed… Sooo many amazing items this go around, and I’m very impressed with Tiny Co. Can’t wait to see what they have in the works for Halloween!!! And I will be here with you guys every step of the way. Bunny and Alissa you are so awesome to dedicate so much to all of this, I frikkin love you! I will wrap this up by saying this: the Bonnie stripper costume would’ve slipped through my fingers by ONE pair of high heels if they didn’t extend the time. And I have no doubt that your Giant Stripper in the Room post had a lot to do with that Alissa. So again, thank you so much for being there not just FOR us, but right there WITH us all the time.

I sent three different messages and never did get my Blam refund. I’m a little annoyed by that, because that would have given me a couple more tries at some of the decos in the promotion box. There’s no guarantee I wouldn’t have just gotten more bombs and harpoons anyway, so it’s not a huge deal.
Anyone else unable to access their town now? I keep getting asked to reload and then I get Consuela, over and over again. I’m looking forward to putting my town back together again!

The harpoon system was broken terribly. The event ended with about 80 old timey and 50 high tech in my inventory. Every demon kill on the last three days required modern harpoons. Is this how tinyco nudges people to purchase items or did I just have very bad luck? I didn’t buy any harpoons, so calculate how much time I wasted on them 130 spares. I’m sure there will be less users tomorrow because of the harpoon event, it was beyond frustrating.

And that’s how the event ends…
Not with a bang, but with a ‘No….no’ from Consuela as the server breaks connection. Final run at demon Stewie gave me enough blam for 4 more boxes: Batteries, Batteries, hi tech harpoons, and bombs. Lol.
All told I did get everything I wanted.
Unlocked all of the unlockables, even Bonnie and Rolo Cop, all the Blam Box decos except for Demon Stewie, Byran Cranston, and Stan Lee’s trailer.
Spent 4,200 yen on this event (about $42) and consider my debt to to Tinyco paid in full. Added to the 1700 yen I paid previously, that totals about what I would pay for a normal pay to play game. I’m done with the clam buying. To much flip-flopping and expectation wrangling to make me ever pull out my credit card again. Literally every time I spent clams I felt ripped off. I’m happy with what I got, but have a sneaking suspicion I would have been just as happy without my clam purchases.
however I will keep an eye on the things that ground my gears this time around and if Tinyco manages to find and even keel I’ll probably come around and buy a few clams here and there. Just not the crazy level I spent this time. 😉

First time posting, long time lurker. Kinda nice the event is over. All those Stewie running around really slowed down my phone and often crashing it. Now that its over, phones running fine! But I do have almost everything from the event that didn’t require clams to buy.

Fantastic event, loved nearly all of it, apart from the cost of some of the things which was just far to much, but ignoring that excellent stuff, me Felicia, red hot and stripper bonnie are going to play DnD 😉

Being trying to get Robo Joe since they dropped him. I am still miss three chips. Was going to spend clams on him then decided not to. This was supposed to be something for Android players. like a gift from TinyCo. A gift I have to use clams on? Did iphone players have to use clams to get Peter gold suit? It they have time restraints? I don’t, but this seens crazy to me. After about two or more weeks of trying I have ten minutes left to get three chips. 😦

Great event! I got everything I wanted, including the Minion Stewie costume, except 1 thing – the Demon Stewie decoration. I won all other blam mystery box prizes. I would have loved that decoration for completeness sake, but oh well.

I have officially finished playing this event. I unlocked all the prizes. Bought all the blam buildings. Bought all the clam items I wanted including the sommelier, BC and NF. Just paid 40 clams to unlock Joe. But overall I completely enjoyed this event. Really wish they gave us options for the overwhelming amount of batteries and bombs won. Now it is time to take a nap!

What a great event, TinyCo has really done an outstanding job with this one.
Thanks Alissa, Bunny and CyberSilly. This event seemed impossible at the beginning, but you guys were the voice of reason. I followed your advice all the way and got George T., all the costumes and buildings that cost blam, with a big 6 blam left over playing mostly freemium. However, I finally decided I really had to be able to watch Nathan Fillion folding his laundry and saying Coohoool Hawhip in my town.
I don’t post much, but I check your site daily and greatly appreciate your massive contribution to the game.

Wow, bought 4 of the 2nd blam box (already had Multiplier trophy and Hammered column) and got Blobulous trophy, Red Hot Column, 12 batteries (can’t all be winners) and 25 clams! Of course now I don’t know what to do with the rest of the 30,000 blam I have, though I suppose I could try for more clams, as I already bought all of the blam-funded buildings.
Thanks again to this site for putting this together. And for the record, Stripper Bonnie is down to 105 clams for me to complete with what I’ve gathered so far. Got all the stockings, almost all the earrings, 4/10 heels and 3/5 wax.

It seems like, sometimes, what they communicate to you guys, what they post on their official page and what they end up doing all differ.
Overall, Great event! Need a break now. You and all the Addicts make life worth living. Thanks for all you do.

It just depends. They have different people communicating in different places. Sometimes we get the info before anyone else with changes. We always wait though to confirm anything we see online. As far as Q and Nothing Factory…nothing will happen with them now the event was over.

Wish they would have let us Mix-n-match harpoons this last hour, or let us switch the required ones instead of the timer 😦 I have plenty old timey and modern but of course they asked for the future ones 😦 oh well… chances are I would have gotten more batteries to go with the 24 other ones I won earlier today lol – just really wanted the stewie decor and robo stewie

Agreed! I was sitting on 48 high tech harpoons, but those didn’t hit for me. Would have allowed me a few more tries to get Demon Stewie decoration, but oh well.

I’ll trade! I’m sitting on 181 of the blue/future harpoons, and 0 of the old-timey ones Stewie wants. I agree, would love to just vanquish him with whatever’s sitting around. I’m also sitting at 74 batteries and 265 bombs (the past couple hours, my challenge has been to bomb only one minion per go). I got all the second Blam box prizes except one of the columns – Rupert was down to blue harpoons, bombs, and batteries for my last 50k Blam.

Ended up with all the items from both the Blam! boxes and over 300,000 Blam! total. Only purchased Fillion, unlocked all the characters and managed to get stripper Bonnie last night, so would have completed it before the deadline too.
Overall a great event, much better than the Moon Idol event. Looking forward to unlocking Mayor West and co next 🙂
