Update 7:15pm EDT: There is a new questline involving Stewie and Time Travel in our games tonight. This is basically a little questline to keep us tapping for now. Once complete District 9 (at least as of this moment) is still not open. It’s a fun little questline and I believe it’s a prelude to District 9. The Precious Metals questline is 4 parts and 29hrs long. It solely involves Stewie. Full walkthrough is below the fold below.

District 9 is NOT open yet….think of this as a preview. It’s coming….
When will it be here? We don’t know. My guess is next week…but TinyCo has been known to do some crazy things so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s this week. However, at this time we don’t know when it will hit.

Well, I for one would welcome a reprieve. I’m still working on questlines for Nathan and Iron Baby and collecting towards Stripper Bonnie’s outfit, but no rest for the weary. I collected over 240,000 Blam! with the event. (Tiredly utters “Giigggittyy”)

I, too, could use a little break. Like a week or so. Not too long, just enough to finish Bonnie and I’m still rebuilding my Quahog!
(I had removed all roads & created a maze. I also had to store pretty much everything due to way too many graphics & animations that ComicCon required.)
Maybe next time they do a big event they could be more mindful that a lot of us play on phones. Even though I mostly play on a new tablet with extra memory and a good amount of RAM, I still had to decimate my town to keep playing without crashing.
Give us a chance to come down before next lauch, I say. Besides, I’m still preparing to aim my bombs at minions each time I load the game! Lol. PTSD anyone? Most surprising, I miss the latcher Stewies! Ha! Never would’ve thought…

This not having a device of my own is starting to really annoy me. A one-hour screen repair is now well into day 6 and it is maddening. I’ve got to go over to my parents’ house and get on their iPad just to check my game once a day.
I think they’re on to me. I heard them talking the other day and it sounds like they are planning an intervention. If only I could get my phone back and hole up in my house, peaking through the blinds to make sure they aren’t sneaking up the walks on me with a throng of my friends who bear cartoonish resemblances to the Griffins and their cohorts.
It’s an awful feeling waking up in the middle of the night, sweating & twitching with no imaginary town to check, no minor missions to engage in, no more minions to blasts. Only this lonely computer to type my mad ramblings into. The sickness has set in and I dread it won’t be cured by the start of District 9 (I randomly wonder if giant prawns will be involved).
I can’t even phone a friend to help me through the insanity because all their numbers are in my contact list. Arrrgh!

Ahhh, last night was the first time in a month that I was able to sleep for more than 4 hours! Loved the event, just need a couple more nights sleep then I’ll be ready to take on district 9!

I’m trying to finish up the Patrick Stewart questline and it wants me to have Quagmire host a sleepover, but there is no task for it on any of his costumes. Any ideas on how to start it?

So they were Comic-Con exclusive tasks and they’ve pulled them. The questlines were also supposed to be pulled but apparently they weren’t. You’ll have to contact TinyCo to see if they can remove it from your task bar.

Hey did the Q Hotel and Nothing Suspicious Here factory stop spawning nerds/minions? After the event I clicked on two nerds and my game crashed after each one with an “invalid currency error”.. And I haven’t seen any since. Did TinyCo remove that feature without mentioning something?

Hey guys, I’m no where near unlocking Stewie yet, I’ve just gotta wait 15hrs for Bobs Funland to repair so I can start unlocking him, so will this questline still kick off once I’ve unlocked him, or is this time limited?

This will most likely start up after you’ve completed District 8…or at least Stewie’s questline in it. I don’t think it’s limited time, I do think it’s a prelude to District 9…no matter when you hit it.

Let me warn you, I feel like I’ve been trying to unlock Stewie for ages! Now that the event has ended, all my attention (read: impatience) is focused on finishing Stewie and Carter and the lengthy task times are killing me. On the bright side, no more feeling compelled to check my game every few minutes. 🙂
Call me crazy, but I miss all those villain Stewies! I was sad to read the Nothing Suspicious factory wouldn’t spawn minions after all.

I am still working on the Rollo Cop Quest line – that carried over to post-event rather unexpectedly, the only one I did not finish in time. Additionally, I just got the last pair of shoes for Stripper Bonnie, and between that and the new quest for Stewie I am still pretty busy in the game. And at some point I still have to figure out where to put all the left over stuff from ComicCon. Running out of space already, even faster than in TSTO 😉

I must be really good at packing things together. Since I’m almost at $1.9 million coins, I put away most of my huge coin mining operation (sans 16 or so banks), and I have almost all of what was District 5 completely empty now. And I feel semi-retired from all that tapping!
(Maybe it’s also because I’ve lived in Boston long enough that having buildings cheek-to-jowl seems perfectly natural.)

I’m thinking it will have the obvious Adam west and Tom Tucker, but for the other favorites, I’m thinking they will finally release Rupert to those who missed him the first time, and add the standard two costumes, which will probably be Spanish Soap Peter and Prison Meg this time.

Anyone heard of hidden buildings, i ve seen quite a few that I can’t get, the chicken coop restaurant, 3 shacks like the one the workers use but in different colors, an Al Harrington’s with another part to the building, and a different stile of Cleveland’s deli than the one you win in the king butt event.

well crap! i’m gonna have to wait about 2 & a half more hours before i can start the new stewie quest line because he’s currently taunting fish through the glass. hopefully i won’t be put too far behind since i’m not able to start right now. & also, if memory serves correctly, i’ll need to have brian free for 1 of the quest parts, right?

Jeez, guess we only get 24 hrs off and then back at it. I had actually already sent stewie to Draw up Battle Plans for 16 hrs before this new quest popped. Was just sending characters on long overnight tasks to keep them occupied because I didn’t think there would be any new content soon. Oh well, least this isn’t a limited event, and now I get to read all the posts on here before jumping into the questline 🙂

I reported it to TinyCo. two weeks ago and they fixed it about two days after I submitted the report (aka about a week before the Con ended). However, once the event ended, freeze tag hasn’t been an option for me to choose for Felicia. They may have added it back in since – I haven’t checked.

i’d like it now but can wait. i’m wondering what the time traveling blimp thing is about…. & i know we’re getting mayor adam west & tom tucker but the part that says & several other favorites has me wondering if we’re getting more than the standard 2 characters this district or if it’s refering to yet another of peter’s costumes or if they might give us babs & or jillian also to unlock. & as for whoever said they hope the land won’t cost as much to clear, all i can say is this: don’t hold your breath because if anything i’m expecting that the cost will only go up with each district, same for the new buildings that come with each district. my bank is currently just over 850,000 & i have just over 17,000 clams, so hopefully i have enough to clear all the land & build all of the buildings. the thing i’m most interested to see is if mayor adam west & tom tucker are gonna require even more stuff than was required for stewie & if the stuff will be as difficult to get (seeing how some people still haven’t unlocked stewie yet). because my thinking on stewie is/was that part of the reason he required so much stuff & was so difficult to unlock is because soooo many people had been wanting & anticapating him. because carter (who was introduced at the same time) wasn’t anywhere near as hard & didn’t take as long for me to unlock. so i’m hoping mayor west & tom tucker won’t be quite as difficult as stewie was to unlock but at the same time i won’t be surprised at all if they are even a bit more difficult & require either just as much or more stuff to unlock.

no, for years people would always give me itunes cards for christmas & birthdays & other thing too. i never had any use for them so i would just throw them in a drawer & over the years & time they built up to an insane ammount & i started using them when i started playing this game. i just add 1 (or quite a few) to my itunes account whenever i need to or feel like it. if i were to use all of the cards i have at once, i’d probably have hundreds of thousands of clams, probably more. so basically i’ll never have to worry about running low/short on clams.

Has anyone done the stewie quests about time travel yet. First you have his time travel then. Draw up battle plans at the preschool and then dance like gene kelly then finally do target practice on lois. That’s all I can do now. Have no idea why I am able to do this now. But surely I’m not alone.

I spent today COMPLETELY reorganizing my town and putting some extra decoration in it to make it look good again. Cost me about 50k, but it was worth it.
Looking forward to District 9. I can use the extra space to put a couple extra buildings in there! Difficult to fit it all in the given space and make it look nice. And new quests wouldn’t go amiss either.
