UPDATE BUNNY: You must have Brian unlocked in order to start the Jack-o-Lantern quests. Brian is in District 6. You will not be able to unlock Pink Brian and/or collect candy unless you are past this point.
If you are past that, then look to see where your Jack O Lantern is. Just go to the task bar and tap on Pink Brian quest and open the info. The details will pop up right over the top of where it is. Tall buildings can hide it. I was able to move it to better spot.

In true TinyCo fashion…let’s throw more updates onto of existing updates and do so late at night!
Anyway….we’ve got a little Halloween Preview going on in Quahog right now! (on top of you know trying to get Sexy Stewie, Vinny & Tom Tucker…) Fortunately, this one seems fairly simple…
Basically here’s the deal….
(FYI FROM BUNNY: Peter needs to be free to trigger this. 😉 )
Everyday between now and October 4th (at 12pm PDT)…a bucket of Candy will appear in your Quahog. Tap on that bucket to collect the candy required to unlock….PINK BRIAN!
And honestly that’s it! Pretty simple right? Just make sure you login to your game everyday to collect the bucket/candy you’ll need.
To unlock Pink Brian you’ll need:
3 Kookie Nut Pops
3 Not-a-Finger
4 Sixty-Four Thousand Dollar Bars
One of these colors will ALWAYS fall from the candy buckets….so if you login everyday between now and October 4th you should unlock Brian!
Here are what the 3 Candy Buckets look like.
Kookie Nut Pops Glowing Ghost Bucket
Not-a-Finger Black Bat Bucket
Sixty Thousand Dollar Orange Pumpkin Bucket
Remember you’ll see the giant Jack-O-Lantern in your town..this is NOT where you get the candy. This is basically your game center for the costume.
To find the candy bucket you’ll have to search around your Quahog…it should be close to the street. (mine was outside the Spa):
(FROM BUNNY: Look for the SPARKLIES floating up from it. “OOOOoooh piece of candy….OOOOoooh piece of candy….OOOOoooh piece of candy….OOOOoooh piece of candy….OOOOoooh piece of candy….”)
The bucket is where you’ll get your candy for the day…so make sure you hunt down your bucket and collect the candy so you don’t miss out on Pink Brian!

How Do I get Candy?
1 Candy per day will appear in your Quahog and there will be ONLY 1 candy in your Quahog at a time. That Candy Resets at every day at Noon PDT
If a Candy is available, it will appear randomly in your Quahog after you collect rent from any building. So keep a close eye out for it.
If you do NOT collect the 1 Candy within 12 hours of it dropping in your game, it disappears forever. So make sure you find it and snag it up right away.
When will the Last Candy Spawn?
For now…the final candy will drop in your town between Oct 3 and 4, Noon PDT.

Probably that you may get too many of one color and not enough of another, but you can buy a Halloween mystery clam box to get a chance at getting one piece of the color you need.

Wth!!!! I checked my town and couldn’t find the orange pumpkin even after I just updated my game to the newest update and peter was free and i tried tapping him a bunch but nothing happened and I’m iOS So….. Is any other iOS players having this problem??? Or is it just me?

Also I’ve noticed in the FAQs that you can view in the game it talks about pink Brian maybe if I wait till morning the orange pumpkin will appear unless I need Brian.

How long after you start the quest does the first bucket appear? I started the quest a few hours ago but I still do not see any candy buckets in my town.

Right away. As soon as you tapped on the Pumpkin and went through details. Look for sparkles popping up.

unlike what the post says, peter wasn’t free for me, yet he still started the quest … the pumpkin popped up, but after collecting rent from every building there was no candy bucket at all in my town (i looked through every single building and decoration and still nothing)

The first go round…it just drops. Once you tap on the pumpkin, go through the info, the bucket o candy will drop somewhere next to the sidewalks in your town. So it is a scavenger hunt to find it. Look for the sparklies coming up from it. Mine was the Black Bat one with candy surrounding it. It lays half on the sidewalk and half on the grass. Bout one square big. If you accidentally tapped it as you were goin around, look for a colored lil piece of candy like in the post or check the pumpkin to see if there is a count of one candy on there already.
It is all about the sidewalks.

ya i went all over the town looking for it, i couldn’t see any sparkles or anything close to the sidewalks and i have 0 for all three candies atm (even moved around half of my buildings / decorations into a corner so nothing could spawn behind / between them and might just put everything else in my inventory just so i can find these stupid things … so it looks like i’ll start this a day later than everyone else, hopefully it won’t matter

My boyfriend has the iPhone 5c, and I have the galaxy s5, I got the halloween event. But he hasnt, he’s behind in the game, but that wouldn’t make it not show up. What can I do?

Do you have to already have Brian unlocked for this to trigger? I’m a new(ish) player, jumped in mid-way through the Comic Con event. I literally JUST unlocked Distrcit 6 & the ability to get Brian, but both my workers are busy, so I can’t even start construction on the location until tomorrow morning. Then, wait for the build, then Brian appears, THEN wait for the Brian Items to accumulate…I don’t want to miss this. Is this Brian-dependent, or is it like Stewie’s Iron Baby costume (which I missed, but at least had opportunity to work towards even without Stewiw unlocked)?

I’ve left Peter available since I saw your post, but no dice – I’m not getting the event trigger. That’s why I was questioning if you needed Brian unlocked. Maybe it’s an iPhone thing – I see someone else posted they got it on their Android, but her bf didn’t get it on his iPhone….

I searched my town from top to bottom and couldn’t find any of the Halloween stuff to click to get Pink Brian, and I was really Zoomd In!
I even tried clicking the images in the Brian collection page, but it just told me what time the stuff drops instead of taking me to the items.

If you have a sidewalk behind it, yes. It lands just off to the side of the sidewalk. Half on, half off on the grassy side.

got the update but peter stuck on quest loop. sent message to support as could not send peter to collect stuff for stewie on his 3 day time limited event and now an new timed event that needs peter to start.

Did you try to update your device by force closing and restarting it? The patch to resolve the ! stuck should have been fixed.

Haha all I keep saying to myself is “oooooo…….. Piece of candy. Ooooooo…….piece of cand. Oooooooo piece of candy”. Lol. This should be easy for everyone to get seeing as you have extra days to find only 10 buckets. I have found zooming in and then looking at the roads the easiest way to find the buckets.

Look to sidewalks. Follow them. It is small in size. Watch for sparkles. Keep in mind it is a Black Bat Bucket of candy (at least mine was) and sparkles shooting up from it

Cannot find the candy bucket anywhere.I’ve looked my Quahog over at least ten times..every single inch.I put it in edit mode so that I can look behind all of the buildings and still nothing.Completely unfair..what to do??

Did you get the Pumpkin already? Tap on it and trigger the pop ups?
If so, try all the sidewalks. Look for a dark purple almost black pile with sparkles coming out of it. Like ONE square big.

I was super confused because the game decided to hide the pot of candy behind the Police Station. The only reason that I noticed it was the column of sparkles that looked like they were coming from the building.

The game crashes immediately when I select the ! on Peter (or after about a minute of playing). Not impressed when it just let me buy clams to get Rupert and then it won’t let me play.

I think he specifically means is it possible to miss pink brian even catching every candy every day by ending up with 7 each of two candies and only 2 of the final one.
Given that this seems to to be based on the harpoon/jello shot quest, I would have to guess that the answer is yes.
if the catch was only getting them all, they would probably have only given us 11 or 12 days. Cause even people who only play once a day can still get the daily candy.

Awsome love it! That is what makes this game so great. Constantly giving you something to keep busy. I don’t mind so many different things going on at once so long as I don’t have to make an either/or choice. I think it makes it better. That way it doesn’t get so monotonous. Just a few characters doing the same task repeatedly gets boring. I wanna play cards not slots. It just shows the kind of creative geniuses behind this game. Thank you and have fun.

I found my candy however it did not look like the pic from above there was just a very light square sparkling on my road. I missed it the first couple times. I had to zoom in and slowly go down every road but I found it 😀

There are three different buckets. When you click the pumpkin then click on one if the three candies to see what tasks earn them you’ll see what the basket looks like. It could be any one of the three

The looped quest issue (with the ! over their heads) should now be fixed for all players. If you are still seeing it, you may need to force quit and restart 🙂

Believe it or not I’m actually very happy with this Halloween preview! It seems simple enough. Just log in once a day, get the bucket of candy that shows up, and within a certain amount of days you’ll have a nice Pink Brian costume in your town! Even players who aren’t on all the time could accomplish it which I think is VERY fair. Can’t wait to unlock. 🙂

Eventually found the first bucket, but it took me a bit. I do wish they would be a little more explicit in their directions, as I was rather confused until I missed a cow and tapped the bucket on accident.
