TinyCo just released a special Clam deal for those players who’ve reached District 5 or higher…
Basically it breaks down to:
If you purchase the $19.99 package of Coins or higher, you’ll receive $19.99 worth of Clams (which totals 600) for free.
This does NOT work the same as the other deal, this pertains to buying coins only. You MUST buy at least $19.99 worth of coins to get the bonus to get the bonus clams.
Remember you have 72 hours to decide if this is a deal for you…..

Until this new buy coins task came up, I still had one showing from when I very first started the game for a £4.99, it had a timer on it originally too like this one but when it ran out the task never disappeared, it just stayed on the list until this one replaced it today. So when this ones timer runs out, I assume the same will probably happen. As I’ve figured out through playing the game, you can only have so many pending tasks at one time and new Ines won’t appear til old ones have gone. So this coin task being there is pretty annoyingg as I’ve no plans to buy any coins, no need as they’re very easily earned on the game, unlike clams! Lol! So does anyone know if there is a way to clear it off the list without completing it? Like a way of skipping tasks or something? If o manage to get rid, it would leave a space for a new task which would be preferable to something I’ll never do.

Why can’t you? What issues are you having? If it is the squirrel running round n round n round, try exiting game. Log out of the App Market you use. Restart the device. Log back into the App Market. Then relaunch the game and try again.

So I did the clams buying test and it didn’t work bunny. The two deals “$5 and $20 buy coins get clams for same amount” is still there after i bought $20 of clams. I remember when I first started out the game and got free clams for buying $50 of clams but can’t remember how many and wasn’t sure if there was a promotion going on during that time. I was busy watching Peter in his skimpy roller skating outfit. Turns me on, lol. Only Peter can wear that and make it work.

I bought the clams hoping that I can double that. I thought it would be fine since I have like a billion coins so I won’t lose sleep on it if I didn’t get it. But the free clams didnt happen.

Well silly the offer is to buy coins. That’s what I wondered. If the 19.99 coins were bought and both the 4.99 and 19.99 deal on your game…if you would get BOTH offers of free clams for the one coin purchase. Lol

Yeah I thought about doing that but than I would only get $5 worth of free clams when there’s a chance of getting $20 of free clams. And after that the $5 dollar would disappear. Now I know and I the $5 is still there so next time when another deal comes I’ll try buying coins instead to see if I still can get $5 of free clams. You following me?

Ah cool!!! …I contacted tinyco and told them what I did with that buying clams stuff and they actually credited my account with 17,250 coins. Didn’t really need it but it was very nice of them to do it for me. I take back all the negative stuff I say about them.

Um, I just bought clams and just got double clams for free. I thought maybe it was a mistake because they weren’t initially there after Peter popped up, but in a second or two, poof, there they were. Of course, with my luck and experience, I will be charged for it. (Last time, when the free 50 clams came up, I got charged $1.99 for them and no, I did go to the store to buy ’em… TinyCo eventually gave me 50 MORE clams for my troubles.)

Let me put it this way…
If you do NOT get it direct from TinyCo INSIDE the game… hack, scam, illegal, etc etc etc.
You are putting your game and YOU at risk with ANY hack. Think of this, what ELSE are you allowing them to put into game? What else is coded into that info they are “giving” you for free. I have seen a very very ugly side to it. Identity Theft. Bank Accounts wiped. And so so so much more. Please do NOT play into it. NEVER give out your account info or download something that is NOT legally obtained.
As for us and our site, we will NOT allow it here. Anyone trying to advertise such behavior will have their comments removed. We protect the players.

I don’t mind spending a little money on a game to enjoy it a bit more, but I am waiting on a sale, not buy coins get clams….that really isn’t much incentive for those of us in the upper levels. If Tiny Co reads these, I would suggest no discount on the smallest packet and have a tiered discount as you get into the larger clam purchases. So no discount on the smallest, but maybe 33% on the largest. Maybe this could be a “Christmas” surprise.

Lol. I’ve been playing pretty much since the beginning and don’t think it ever really occurred to me that I could buy coins. I remember the early days of wondering how the heck I was *ever* going to accumulate enough coins to clear a plot of land for $1000!! So I can definitely see how this would be great for newish players.

At the moment I am unable to buy clams or money? When I go to either page it says ‘wait’ where it would normally have the price, if I tap on ‘buy’ then I am faced with Consuela who tells me “No, no, no. Your purchase no work. We fix. You try later.” Is anyone else seeing this?
Also I just started the help Vinny quest, but it is on a timer, I have 2d8h on it, does this mean Vinny is on a timer to release him? I am a bit confused? any help please, thanks 🙂

I had the same thing happen to me with the buy option. I hard closed my game (ie force closed the app) and restarted it and it worked. Give that a try, if it doesn’t work contact TinyCo and let them know you’re having an issue with it.
As far as Vinny goes…the timer is to unlock Vinny in 3 days you’ll get a free exclusive building. However, you do have as much time as you need to unlock Vinny. But if you do it in 3 days you’ll get that free building 🙂

If it says “wait”, do so. Try again later. May be a temp issue in your market.
Vinny has a side quest. A special. THAT is 3 days timed. If you don’t care for the Pastaria, then no worries. Vinny is part of District 9 and here to stay.

This isn’t a deal. It’s a rip. They say if you buy coins for 21.78 ( Canadian pricing) you get the equivalent free clams…so that would mean I pay for a measly 17250 coins, which I can earn for free in two days in my Quahog, and getting 600 clams…how is that a deal? If they upped the coins given for the deal to something like 100,000 it would be better. Or sell the 600 clam package at half price

Not every lil thing is for everyone. There are players that do need coins as well as clams so this is for them.
If it’s not for you, that’s fine. Maybe the next one will be. It’s just like premium items/characters…what others adore and must have you may hate. What you want others may hate.
It’s a balance of giving options. This one just isn’t suited for you. Doesn’t make it bad, just something you don’t want. 🙂

To make it a fair game. Why doesn’t TinyCo allow you to buy clams with coins at a ratio of 10 to 1 which is what their offering to pay you for all players and it make it equitable for all players and make their advertising “Best of all it’s Freakin Free” more or less true. Instead you can earn 1 clam a day if your fast enough at level 50+. Come on
TinyCo I dare you to do the right thing. Make the game fun and challenging again. Right now it’s not, you have to many challenges that require clam purchases to expedite your quest. People will still buy clams.

I have not seen a game yet that turns coins into the premium game currency on a daily basis. Good idea, but I do not see it happening. The “Free” means you do NOT have to pay to buy the app itself. It has nothing to do with game play. 😉

Yes that is true. However that is stated before you ever click on the app and within the add it makes no referance to your statement.
Read it again. Most people click on the app because they love the show not TinyCo thats the hook if you take it as written. Having to spend money to make it through any quest especially time limited would make their statement untrue and illegal from a legal standpoint.

I understand what you are trying to explain, but it just does not apply in an app market. Now, had they advertised that in the game…I would be in total agreement with you. I am just trying to help you see another view and understand the difference between App Markets selling items where the “free” comes into play and the Company that creates and runs that App and makes all sorts of things for the game…you “purchased”…from an App Market, not them…for $0 (free).
You are in an app MARKET seeing that info. Where your ONLY Options are to buy an app or get it for free. You are not playing the game there. The market only houses it and passes it to players on compatible devices. It has NOTHING to do with what items and costs go into a game. Allow me to provide another perspective on it. If you have an issue with a clam cost of an item in a game or cost of coin for a building, would you got to Google Play/iOS/Amazon about it? The market is a complete separate entity from the game.
Honestly, if you feel the wording is “poor” and have a suggestion for how else they can word it for just the sale of their game… Tell them. Contact TinyCo in your game menu, help, contact, and tell them what YOU think it should say. 🙂

Believe me if you will the app market is well aware of TinyCo’s problems, not just Family Guy but all their games. I downloaded Texas Hold’em (free) and expected to buy chips. The game crashed
every time I tried to load it another TinyCo glitch? How long do you think your major vendors will tolerate a Company that has to deal with customer complaints before they pull their apps out of their market?? Remember they distributed the apps and refund the customer. I contacted TinyCo. 14 times and called 4 times without a return call and form letter responces via helpshift about not being
able to claim prizes within my game. The gaming app market is huge and they’re losing market share on a daily basis because they
don’t have a good customer service program. Personally I took the bait, I spent several thousand through addiction alone trying to reach the promise land of next level to win it all.
Then I realized what a farce it all was with TinyCo, keep in mind all
of my correspondence with them was prior to 09/08/14 the day comic-con ended. I know you are aware of all of thls by the number
of complaints you field on a daily basis. Part of my business model
was “what brings you up can also take you down”. TinyCo needs to change something soon especially in customer service and their game structures because people and vendors just won’t put up with it. I speak from experience not just blowing steam.

That’s pretty much no real deal. Earning coins is not really a problem so this comes down to buying a clam pack. Throwing in some extra percentage of clams would be a deal. Gotta go back to the drawing board to lure me.

At first I thought it said, if you buy $20 worth of clams we will give you $20 worth of clams free, I got excited, I opened the offer and it took me to the coin buying menu, then I thought to myself this ain’t for me, maybe to a new player that is lacking in the coin department, but to me a seasoned player that has been playing since the game came out, coins are worthless to me at this point, there is no way I can spend as much as I have accumulated

For the first deal (the one you get as a new player), does that go for either? Mine specifically says buy coins, get cans. (I’ve never done it – haha – though I have bought clams before.)
I’m considering this deal, but I’ll probably pass. In my opinion, it’s a way to add time pressure to a regular clam purchase. Unless something pops up in the next few days that I want clams for.

So bunny let me get this right. What you’re saying is with the first deal “$5 coins and get $5 free clams” will only work if u buy $5 coins? From what I see so far from other players and what Alissa is telling me is that not only is that works like that but u can also but any amount of “clams” and get that same amount for free. I still have that deal going on and not sure who’s correct cuz I really want to take advantage of that deal but if what you’re saying is true than I’m not gonna go and spend $50 on clams if I’m not getting another $50 of free clams.

She means that the 4.99 or now 19.99 offer is good with ANY amount you buy at that level or ABOVE. So say you buy $100 worth, you get the offer you selected with it (4.99 or 19.99). So you are not limited to JUST that amount. So it is a matter of what YOU need in your game anything at the 4.99 and up or 19.99 and up will still get you the side offer.
Does that make better sense?

I think you are misreading some of her comments to other readers. There are TWO deals that are possible in the game now. So I think that is where you have confusion. If you buy COINS now with the TWO offers going (only if both still in your game), you might possibly trigger BOTH payouts. So if you buy 19.99 in coins, you may not only get the 19.99 in Clams but also trigger the 4.99 in Clams. It is not buy clams get clams free. You still have to trigger the deal via Coins.

As you can clearly see, she specifically stated it was when she first purchased them and was months ago…so no guarantee that is what will happen now.
At no time at all did she state that today’s deal is the same. You can try, but there is no guarantee what so ever if you go OUTSIDE the listed offer that you will get what you are seeking.
Just want you to make sure that is understood. You try at your own risk.

I will say, when Human Rupert was available just a few days ago, I went ahead and bought $5 worth of clams and got another $5 of clams for free (130×2=260), so I basically got Rupert at half-price. As far as I can remember, the previous offer was “Buy $5 COINS, get $5 clams,” but I bought AND got clams. If this deal works the same way, I’m sold. Someone with disposable income needs to test it 🙂

Peeps complaining about coin offers: I myself started this game about two weeks before the Full Moon event and I have struggled to have enough coins all the way until we could sell back items. I unloaded all of my yachts and skate parks and now I’m set. I won’t be purchasing any coins, but I don’t see a problem with TC offering coin deals to help folks out either.

So I want to buy some clams, what would be the best way to go about this? should I buy the 4.99 coins, or go with the 19.99? Or is there somewhere to straight up buy clams? I guess what I’m asking is what is your opinion on the best deal for clams?

It is more do you NEED coins? If so, go with what fits YOUR budget. I suggest to look locally and online for gift card deals so you can get the most out of whatever you DO decide to spend. MORE free stuff for less money is always a plus. 😉

After missing the entire comic con event I didn’t plan to play again, but downloaded it anyways to give it another chance. Tried to log in and my information is wrong… which doesn’t make sense I have one email and one password I use for everything so I know I’m not mistaking.

The last deal they had, buy a box of clams and receive $4.99 clams free. I never received my free clams. And I bought the box not the $1.99. I wrote tiyco 4 times on their site and threw the app. But still no response after a month. Anyone else have this issue, or know a better way to contact them?

My deal was buy a box of $4.99 coin and get $4.99 Clam free. I know cuz it’s still in one of my test games.
Please contact them again with a follow up and key words “Missing Clams” if you have not recently. Messaging via your game is always best.

I know it’s still a couple of months away, but I hope there’s a deal on clams for Black Friday. One thing’s for sure though, this game has more deals on clams than Tapped Out from my experience. I hope they keep ’em coming! 🙂

I thought a new episode was starting at 3 pm PDT and nothing for me has started am I missing something I don’t have vinny or tom unlocked so I don’t know. I have my people just roaming the town I don’t wanna put them on tasks just to need them to unlock Adam west.

They should advertise it for what it is. Buy clams, get coins free. The other way around just smacks of double talk to try to get people to spend money on something they don’t want. Or to trick people who assumed that it would work like the introductory deal did & jump right into a $20 clam purchase to get nothing free at all. It is quite misleading after the introductory offer. Glad I didn’t bite on this one.

Some things are not meant for everyone. I have been seeing players desperately needing coins too. Lower levels. So for newish lower level premiums to the game, it is helpful. 🙂

But if I told u to buy twenty dollars worth of clams n u get twenty dollars worth of coins would u still think it’s a gud deal? Lol doubt it but double the clams do sound awesome I have a million and a half right now n I make twenty dollars worth of coins in maybe a day or two not sure but with all my buildings n characters together I know it’s pretty close so I’ll definitely pass this offer but do expect me to b buying a twenty dollar play store card (# go team android :p)this weekend as always u can keep your coins tiny co lol

Really wish it was BOGO on clams only, or even either/or (like buy 19.99 of coins OR clams and get 19.99 of clams free), especially with all the premium characters available right now. I definitely don’t need $20 worth of coins. I bet they’re just trying to help people unlock the new (more expensive) blocks. But this really isn’t a deal, IMHO.

I really wish it was Buy 1 Get 1 on Clams! The coin deals don’t match up with their prices, way too much money for very few coins. I’m flush with coins right now and I’m planning to buy clams for Halloween so I’m going to wait and hope they announce another deal soon.

I’m considering it. I was over 630,000 coins at the end of Comic-Con. Spent a bunch on clearing land and buying buildings, dropped down to about 460,000, and now back to 600,000. If they clear more land off to the left, it’s going to be crazy expensive, so it would be nice to have some extra coins. And clams are always welcome.

Coins are so easily obtainable. If by the time you are in district 5 you should have no problem getting coins. If you want $20 worth of clams, just buy $20 worth of clams. This is not a “real deal” a real deal is buy 600 clams get 600 clams for free. But it’s not, it’s like a phising scam for those that misread thinking they are gonna get 600 clams for free. In the end all you are really doing is paying for a perimium currency.

Yes you are paying for Clams regardless, but this fits the need of a player needing both. If that is not you, no worries…then the deal is not for you. 🙂

Yep… I actually thought it said buy clams get clams and I was like “oh! Piece of candy!” Then I read it again and was kinda bummed out. This is not the deal for me.
