After a long wait the update has finally hit our games!
TinyCo’s giving us a chance to make summer last a little longer with the Kool-Aid Man! OOOOOHHHH YAAAAAHHH!!!
There’s also another chance to unlock Cleveland with this update…..
More details below the fold…
Unlock the Kool-Aid Man! You have 4 days (slightly more) to collect STUFF (ingredients) to unlock the Kool-Aid Man in your Tiny Quahog! Make sure Peter is free as he kicks this off with his Vinyl Pants. Lol.
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, questlines for this will go when it ends. So up to you on what you want to complete, just know anything left will end at 3PM PDT regardless where you are on it.
You’ll see that a large Boom Box has dropped in your town after you start the Endless Summer quests (During Part 1 that triggers Kool Aid). Just like the Jack O Lantern and Animal Crate…this can drop ANYWHERE in your town. By waters edge. By edge of land. Behind buildings. Behind decorations. ANYWHERE. So seek it out. It is not really small in size, but small enough to hide. 3×4 Plot. Once located, you CAN tap on it and move it like any other item.
The boom box is where you’ll see the collection guide/manager for Kool-Aid Man:
As you can see…here’s what’s needed to unlock him:
10 Cherries (Always)- Get from Clearing Kool-Aid Man from your Quahog (he’ll pop up every 7hrs. Tap on him to earn Cherries)
8 Ice Cubes (Always)- Get From Good Times Pier OR From Kool-Air Beach Volleyball Court
25 Pitchers (Rare)- Get From Make Peter Dance the Shipoopi OR Make Jerome Play Ball OR Make Bruce Kitten Pickin’ OR Make Lois Buy Groceries OR Make Chris Fat Kid Hula Hoop
Note: I know A LOT of you are worried about collecting 25 pitchers in time…however it’s not so bad. Jerome’s task to do this is 1hr (and Chris has a 4hr task), focus on those two…send the others (if free) but don’t stress to much about them. Focus on Jerome for the most part. I just did a little test with it and sped him up 7 times and got 5 pitchers. It is completely doable…just have to focus on the right characters. Remember it’s only Friday…you still have more than 4 days to do it. Try it over the weekend and reserve judgement until Monday night 😉
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, the decorations linked to this will go when it ends. So make sure you have purchased what you want in your game by then so you can keep it after it ends.
Endless Summer Decorations:
Endless Summer Banner– $250
Kool-Aid Sk8 Park– $3500
Big Bonfire– $2,000
Good Times Pier– $750. Earns $45,30xp/8hrs. Ice cubes will always drop from this as well.
Jetski Peigeon– 50 Clams
Kool-Aid Beach Volleyball Court– 125 Clams, always drops ice cubes. Earns $45, 30xp/8hrs
Kool-Aid Ferris Wheel– 250 Clams, Earns $70, 45xp/12hrs
Cleveland has also made a return to Quahog…so if you missed out on him during The Full Moon Event now’s your chance to get him. However….it’ll cost you. Cleveland is now a premium character and will set you back 400 Clams! He comes with his house and you’ll see the He’s Bla-ack….Again: Prelude pop up in your game for the option to purchase him.
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, Cleveland is NOT linked to this so we currently do not have an end date for his availability. My opinion on him, all I can say is Halloween is coming up and he may play a main role. So you may want to pick him up if you don’t have him.
We’re awaiting FULL confirmation from TinyCo, but for now assume that ALL Kool-Aid decorations and buildings (along with Kool-Aid man) will disappear on 9/30 at 3pm PDT. If we have any changes to that we’ll update this post. (as far as Cleveland goes, we’re waiting for confirmation on him as well)

Does anyone know if there’s a walkthrough for Cleveland’s questline “He’s Bla-ack….Again”? I’m up to Part 6 but I’d rather focus on the Halloween quests. Though, if I’m almost done, I’d like to get it over with. I could use the extra coins, too. Thanks in advance.

Am I the only one that never even had the event show up in the first place? I hadn’t played the game for a week before Monday, but that was still before the event ended. Now, even though everyone else had extra time added, it still hasn’t shown up for me.

So around 9 am yesterday I got my last cool aid ingredient and “made him” only to have the event reboot at 7Pm and now I have NO COOL aid man and no cherries or anything starting from 0 is anyone else having this problem. Before when I didn’t get him but had everything my task to create him was still in that queue and I would hit go and nothing would happen. Very disappointed

I completed Chris finding job to complete the Kool Aid pt 1, but it was knocked out with the kool aid mistake yesterday, I now, because Chris is doing something else, cannot complete the task. Angry about that. Completed and did not get credit

Same in NZ, had just finished everything and the boombox disappeared at 3pm Kiwi time. Reported it straight away after removing game, restarting, checking inventory etc etc. have just done it again this morning after letting PDT click over to 3pm but still nothing. Hopefully they give the character to those who earned it, and extra time for those who were close.

My Boombox disappear and the character stop giving out pincher as if the event already end. Last time i check i only need 2 more pinchers and i cant find the Kool Aid man anywhere. What’s goong on?

So I earned kool aide man at same time I earned pink Brian. My boom box disappeared, it isn’t hiding and not in my inventory. I tap “get kool aide man” on the quest which doesn’t turn up with anything. I emailed toyco and haven’t heard anything. The only thing I can think of is whether the original time glitch has stuffed it up for me as I’m over in New Zealand and I seemed to have lost everything at 3pm tues here (730pm Monday for those in PDT). However the quest still appears on my screen.

No worries. Wide spread issues like this you may not hear back on as they correct it as a hole. Send the fix to all. (They are working on a way to bring him back).
Other issues that are isolated and impact single players one on one you usually get more of a response on.
Either way. The are working to correct what happened. 🙂

I am one waterjug away from finishing kool aid man, and my boom box has disappeared, and no one will do tasks that give waterjugs anymore. Is this a glitch? I didnt think it was meant to disappear for another 14 hours yet??
I still have Kool-Aide Pt1 showing in my quests, but click on get kool-Aid man does nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BTW – for those who have suggested it, kool aid man definitely not in my inventory, nor anywhere in my shopping cart area. I hope they still give the players affected the character. I will be very disappointed otherwise.
From reading the link, it looks like i would have been one of the first people affected as I am in Australia.

Has the Kool Aid event finished early? According to my time conversion, it’s about 12.30am on the 30th PDT (I’m in Melbourne, Australia, where it’s 5.30pm on the 30th), but the boombox has disappeared.

Some new characters are not coming with a voice when you tap on them while they are on quests in the roads, like Vinny and Kool-Aid man.. I really want Kool-Aid man to say “OHHH YEAH!!!” when I tap on him.

I seem to be stuck on Endless Summer Pt 4. To finish it, Chris has to do Fat Boy Hula Hoop. When he finishes, the game doesn’t tick it off and won’t continue the quest. Has anyone else come across this?

Update! I’ve just noticed that the countdown on the quest has disappeared. This seemed to happened after I ended Chris’ task early for a couple of clams.

A few others are reporting the same thing. Best thing to do is contact TinyCo on it. You can also try a hard close of the app (ie shut down the app) and restart it. If that doesn’t clear it TinyCo is your best route. Fortunately, the questline is not required to unlock the Kool-Aid man

Got my Kool Aid Man today. ..very happy. One candy away from Pink Brian. Now I’m working on unlocking Mayor West. I thought he wasn’t available yet??!?!? But hey not complaining. Now I just have open up all that back land so I can unclutter my houses and move everything out of storage. I’m such a chicken when it comes to opening land. I only have one worker and I’m afraid to commit him to such long hours. I’ve built everything that is available – hopefully. Unless you know something I dont. Should I do it?

The timer on my kool-aid man has disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else? Does it mean he is extended? Also, pink Brian is annoying me because I got an extra piece of candy I didn’t need today. Tho his pitcher earning task is the best one to spend clams on last min at the end of this event if you need those yet to get Kool Aid Man 😉 I’ve found he earns a pitcher 1/3 times…

I completed gathering all the items for kool-aide man last night. When I clicked on the button to unlock him the boombox disappeared and I haven’t seen him at all. However, the task to unlock him in part 1 is still open.

Try contacting TinyCo…a few others said they didn’t see it but found it behind other buildings. If you’re not seeing it then try contacting TinyCo.

Hello all..just wanted to say this site is top notch..also that Cleveland is worthless save your money!!!..I cant even remember what task he’s ever helped with for such a major character… he does nothing. Very dissatisfied how they never give us tasks for him..oh well had to vent.Awesome site thanks for your efforts…glad iam not the only person addicted to this game..

I should have Kool Aid Man unlocked by tomorrow. I currently have 7 cherries, 17 jugs and 5 cubes. I should get 1 more cherry and cubes tonight before I got to bed.
Its been a real challenge with all these added mini events in the last few days. Besides Kool Aid Man to get there’s also Pink Brian, Anime Peter and Tricia Takanawa. I just unlocked; Brian, Connie, Mermaid Peter and S&M Lois since the 2 events started. Whew!

I assigned everybody that can to get jugs. I was on top of Jerome giving out jugs hourly with it being hit or miss. It might seem like a waste of time giving the characters with super long tasks to get them, but it pays off in the end. I reluctantly had Bruce do the 20 hour task and luckily he’s given me a jug every time. For Lois with hers being 12 hours I have her start the task around 7-9PM, so she’s complete when I wake up in the morning. I would have had her do it 2 twice a day, but I need her to do required tasks and unlock other stuff.

Ok just collected a sailor hat fromthe yacht club and it linked to sexy ststewie ittems … But I can’t find him in any build menu … Is it possible to still unlock his costume now that I just earned him ???

I know a lot of people r worried about clams … Maybe I just got lucky but I’m sitting on 7/10 20/25 and 5/8 … Haven’t seen kool aide since this morning though … But if he catches back up should have him unlocked by tomorrow night … All without clams and doing the quests … Still working on that damn plutonium for stewie though!!!! 2 more to go … Can’t wait to get through 8 and catch up to 9 with Halloween so close … Good luck all …

Well so far it has been…11 hours since I last seen Kool Aid guy walking around. I checked it this morning at 10 am…it’s now 9 pm and still no Kool Aid guy since this morning.

Yes I did, still no kool aid guy anywhere to be seen. Even used the help and support in game to contact TinyCo about it, so just waiting to hear back from them on this, if they do contact back, I have bad luck with these kinda game companies never giving any answers.

I don’t think 4 days is enough for the Kool aid man. I don’t have the money to spend on clams so I can’t speed Jerome up at all. Sure his task is only a hour but it’s a rare ingredient and it doesn’t drop alot. I started as soon as it was out and I only have a few not even in double digits. If it was a week or even 5 days it wouldn’t be a problem but 4 days is really pushing it. Also would like to say that I’m focusing on getting the ingredients and not the quest.

Didn’t start the event until Saturday morning PST. So I’m pretty much out unless I spend clams. Wouldn’t be that against it if he were voiced, but in my opinion it’s too much for a silent character, especially one with such an iconic catch phrase. I get the whole licensing thing as it sounds like he is not voiced (from someone who rushed and unlocked), just too much $ :). Learned my lesson with Rupert. I did spend $ on comic con and loved the event.
Not trying to whine here but really sick of the events that give you very little breathing room. Would like to see events that follow the model the fabulous four vehicles that give you time based on when you trigger it, and maybe 24 hours to start it.

Also would still like to see my idea implemented for events even though I know it wouldn’t necessarily fit a solid event time frame. It kind of would, just within a short time to activate period.

Its that options model. Some people love the challenge. Others don’t. So they offer a mix of BOTH to cater to several styles of players. I see complaints on every event of something someone doesn’t like. It is kinda amusing. I am lucky as I see all sides that you don’t. Those that HATE one event, love another. For instance you loved Con but hate this. Another player HATED Con but loves this.
None of us are the same or play games the same. So I like that a mix is offered. If you don’t like something, not a bad thing…just not for you. Not your cup of tea. But the next time may be just what you wanted. Make sense?
Always remember, they LOVE feedback. Feel free to let them know via your game menu. It is not “whining” if given properly, it is more constructive criticism on your view of how something can be done different. You never know, it could help enact a change or a better way. 😉

I don’t hate the event (actually said I would spend $ to catch up if he were voiced), I just hate the setup for the small events. If you don’t happen to open the game for a day you could possibly miss out without spending money. I love a challenge and what I love how this is more than just tapping. TC has events where you actually do stuff, like defeating mutant Stewie and King Butt. I’m sure there is also more to come. Missing the start imo is not a challenge, it’s more of an oh well too bad.
I only used the Con to show I’m not JUST b******* and moaning 🙂 Was honestly just throwing out a suggestion for the smaller events.
Keep up the good work with this blog! It has definitely helped improve the game and act as a voice from the fans.

Who is a better character to buy, Consuela or Buzz Killington or Brain Damaged Horse? Do any of them provide much use in the quests?

I love Consuela just as a character. Buzz…meh. Both though have helped get materials for costumes. Buzz more recently with Sexy Stewie. Future? Who knows.
The Horse…well mainly just something to giggle at for me. No use as of yet.
