Hello There Clammers!
Halloween has arrived in Quahog! And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls! And while he’s at it he’s decided there weren’t enough ghostly figures wandering around Quahog that he goes and brings his dad back from the dead! (as if anyone wants him around!)
Of course to enjoy once you dig up Francis it’s only natural that he’ll have some unfinished business to attend to… So let’s get down to the details of just what happens when you unlock Francis and start him on the Path of the Righteous Man….
The Path of the Righteous Man Pt. 1
Peter starts
Dig Up Francis’ Grave- 250 Vials, 12hrs
Bribe Francis- To unlock Francis you’ll need to craft the following in the cauldon:
The Pulpit-Requires
1000 Vials
25 Candy Corn
5 Banshee Tears
The Confessional- Requires
500 Vials
10 Latcher Talons
10 Terror Dog Bones
You’ll also need to build from the store:
Mariner’s Banquet Hall. 1,500 Spirit Vials, 8hr Build.
You must craft BOTH items via the Cauldron. You do not have to craft items in order, so you can skip other items and jump right to these too.
Tip: You can craft both items and build the Hall BEFORE digging him up and they should count towards him once dug up.
Remember the clock starts as soon as you “find” him. Which means as soon as you repair the grave and click that check and she first appears…that’s the moment the clock will start.
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
The Path of the Righteous Man Pt. 2
Peter starts
Have Francis Griffin Play Angel Harp- 4hrs, Earns 15 Spirit Vials, 3FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
The Path of the Righteous Man Pt. 3
Francis Starts
Have Francis Griffin Show True Colors- 12hrs, Earns 35 Spirit Vials, 7FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
The Path of the Righteous Man Pt. 4
Francis starts
Have Francis Repent for Sins- 1hr, Earns 5 Spirit Vials, 1 FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
The Path of the Righteous Man Pt. 5
Francis Starts
Have Francis Go to Bible Study- 8hrs, Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
Have Peter Spend Time with his Dad- 8hrs, Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5 FP
And that completes Francis’ Questline! While it’s a relatively short questline…it’ll take a while to get there. Especially since Part 4, where he Repents His Sins, will require Francis to be at Level 6…and leveling up during this event isn’t so easy. So take your time and don’t feel pressured to complete the questline. Oh and don’t stare at the Level Meter…remember a watched pot never boils. 😉

yeah i ve just noticed…
BTW i love his 12 hr task (dont remember the name) but while doing it it says “saint or sinner?” and he is an angel playing harp and then he turns into a soul tormented by devils in a cauldron… so funny! 😀

Im having the same issue, Im stuck in level 3. When looking at his tasks, none offer experience, just vials and fright points. So I cant finish his quest as it requires level 6 to do the next task….

His tasks are giving experience, for me at least. Not much, but his xp bar is slowly but surely crawling towards the end. It’s still going to take a long time though.

same with me… his task offer no experience (XP) but the bar does moves slightly… but i dont know what is counting as experience for him…
so i havent been able to do Part 4 of Path of the Righteous Man because he needs to be level 4 to repent of his sins :O

Quick FYI to TinyCo: In regards to the profile pic of Diane Simmons on FaceSpace and the character selector… She doesn’t have the same soft outer glow like Francis or Mr. Weed…

I got Francis a day after he was release and I’m still stuck on level 3 with him. I let tinyco know this but still no words since, I want to finish his quest line ****.

How many other tasks do you have incomplete in your task menu? If you have a lot, you need to clear some out to make way for new ones. 🙂

I am SO exited, looking forward to this update.
The last 2 days have been a pain in the #s.
Nothing to do just collecting what I could, playing with the trik-or-treats.
I hope I will collect as many free clams after this update, as I have got since the last one.
I think it was 6 clams, I got some from tapping the White ghosts(cleared al of them 2 or 3 times in a row maybe something more but not sure),
And for the first time i got 2 clams by visiting my neighbor’s, Yahooo

I’m sure you’ve likely already seen, but there is a new update in the App Store for the game. In addition to preparing for the portal upgrade this evening, it mentioned decorating houses.
I will be patient this evening and wait for your post before I go off hung ho and nearly screw myself like several of us would have done last week but for the change of requirements…

Still going at it, but hopefully he’ll be level 6 soon. My only problem is the large amount of crashes my game has had since the trick or treaters update. It’s getting a little ridiculous now.
