Hello There Clammers!
Halloween has arrived in Quahog! And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls! And there’s no cooler way to do that than with Jason Voorhees!
Jason is an all new premium character introduced just for Halloween. And to add him to your Quahog it’ll cost you 200 Clams. Jasson will not only help you earn Banshee tears BUT you’ll also earn 1 of each of the color rockets (to help roast Stay Puft) as well! He also comes fully equipped with a humorous questline, one that gets a lot of characters involved. So let’s take a look at just who Chris has for a new hockey coach…
It’s Friday, Friday Pt. 1
Jason starts
Have Jason Pick a Weapon– 6hrs, Earns 32 Spirit Vials, 4 FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP
It’s Friday, Friday Pt. 2
Jason starts
Have Jason Prepare for Murder- 12hrs, Earns 50 Spirit Vials, 7FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP
It’s Friday, Friday Pt. 3
Jason starts
Have Jason Annoy Lois at the Griffin House- 2hrs, Earns 10 Spirit Vials and 2FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP
It’s Friday, Friday Pt. 4
Jason starts
Have Jason Attend a Seance at the Griffin House- 6hrs, Earns 20 Spirit Vials, 4FP
Have Bruce Hold a Seance at the Griffin House- 6hrs, Earns $65, 45xp
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials 5FP
It’s Friday, Friday Pt. 5
Jason starts
Have Jason Sneak into Aquarium- 10hrs, Earns 30 Spirit Vials, 6FP
Have Chris Sneak into Aquarium- 10hrs, Earns 30 Spirit Vials, 6FP
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP
And with that you’ve completed Jason’s questline! Short but pretty funny! Although I have a feeling a lot of you will be holding off on getting this going until you’ve gotten all the rockets you’ll need for Stay Puft!
And for those of you that may have missed the first few spots of dialogue between Chris and Jason because of a glitch..here’s the initial dialogue (thanks to reader Emalee for sending these in!):
What do YOU think of Jason? Did you make the purchase yet? Where in the questline are you? Or are you putting off the questline to earn more rockets for Stay Puft? Did you miss out on the initial dialogue. Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

Hi I got the game this weekend, September 18, 2016 and I’m a MAJOR Friday the 13th fan and I was wondering if Jason will be coming back this Halloween so I can add him to my collection…

We won’t know until any Halloween content hits our games, but some characters do return, whereas unfortunately others don’t due to the licensing agreements TinyCo has to use them i.e. they can maybe only offer the character up to a certain date. So it’s cross your fingers and hope for good luck, something not usually linked with Friday the 13th.

Did you complete all the dialog and walkthroughs as well as unlock the Portal up to his point where he shows up in the game?

I’m so glad I got Jason. His comments are hilarious

So, it looks like TinyCo did a fairly major update to their servers last night. From what I can see from the limited testing I’ve done is that they are now throttling users based on their connection speeds (I would have thought this would have been done since day one as it is Communication Server 101 practices, and again this is just speculation based on my observations). They may have also done some actual upgrades to their server hardware and bandwidth… I’m still testing this. Anywho, all this to say that if you have good hardware and a good connection, you should be noticing a MUCH BETTER gaming experience. You shouldn’t have to force shut it all the time anymore and you shouldn’t have to run it alone just to get it to barely work. So, I guess I should say thank you to TinyCo but I’m a little torn since why should we be thankful just for getting a game to run the way it should have been all along? I am so confused lol

what about the increased lagging I’m getting in my game now ever since they fixed the zoom way better than it was just yesterday, I believe? I’m on Android and i’ve never had this much lagging until now 😦 any advice on what i can do?…
=&& definitely NOT complaining about the zooming in/out again on my phone,i love it!!..just not the increased lagging. *

This is what I try…
My personal experience when the game slows…its is due to too much going on and the device just can’t keep up. Right now you got a TON of lil kids, ghosts, banshees, etc runnin round town. Marshminkter (yes that’s what I call them) Guy. So your device is prob pushed too its limits.
So this is how I combat it on my devices… Make sure NOTHING else is running on my device. Shut down and kill any other apps that like to run in background (like Facebook). Make sure you have LOTS of free space on the device memory. I give 2GB just to THIS app. Store some items you do not need in your game. MORE drain memory. LESS is good. Store away anything animated that may be adding to the drain. Try to keep all characters on indoor tasks if possible. Those not really needed definitely send them inside somewhere. You can also refresh the game by restarting your device.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I only tested iOS so far since that is what I mostly play on. Perhaps they haven’t rolled it out for Android. Plus, I don’t know what your phone is or your connection speed, so you may be one of the bunch that is getting throttled.

On a completely unrelated topic: is it a known fact, that you can level Patrick Stewart and Ron Perlman up beyond Level 15?

Most of the characters max out at level 15, with a couple exceptions. Peter, Mayor West, Tom Tucker, Vinny, Kool Aid Man, and the Comic Con characters. These characters can be leveled up to 25.

yeah i’m holding off his quests thought i did do Part 1….but he gives 3 rockets everytime so its worth it just sending him out for those each time. i got the last challenge on the weekend but i’m trying to keep my multiplier at 30 as much as possible and he just helps so much. but now that i see the rest of his quests…i might go through it slowly when i’m at a standstill with Stay Puft. he’s crazy and overly expensive but damn he was worth it…same for Alien and Predator, just waiting to add Freddy!!

I’m now getting a decent stock of rockets to hit Stay Puft a bunch of times. Do we know if the rockets will change with the new portal like they did when giant Stewie changed at the CC event? If that’s the case I’ll use them all before hand instead of having to trade them in at a loss like last time.

We don’t, no.

True story – Many summer camps have legends or stories of Friday the 13th being there, but the original movie was truly filmed at what is now Camp NoBeBoSco, a Boy Scout camp in northwest NJ. My son has gone there for two years and done his Swimming badge in what really was Crystal Lake. They have one of the original Crystal Lake signs (much like the one Jason comes with in game) on display in the camp shop 🙂

Will probably start his quest line soon. If ComiCon was any indication all these rockets we are collecting will be worthless with the next portal update plus I’m sitting on over 95 chocolate because Stay Puft has yet to ask for them (of course it’s the highest payout).

Since things are like comic con event. I would gather the Final weekly task would be like comic con, zap 10 poltergeist, bomb 300 trick or treater’s, destroy 15 banshees, destroy 15 terror dogs, and bomb stay puft 10 times. In 3days or something like that… I hope everyone is prepared! Only 1 more day!

That was my thinking as well I have been bulking up s’more stuff though with the maze I have very little bombs been killing a lot of kids. Hehehehehe.

I never liked Jason, his movies looked stupid rather than frightening. Freddy, hovewer was scary as hell. Bough Predator and Alien ’cause they are cool. But now that I spend 10 bucks for the first time on a premium character, I might do it again for freddy

I bought Jason and he has given me a huge advantage in the rockets department! Done with his questline, and it was pretty humerous even though he lacked emotion… I have an idea for a Freddy action… Perhaps he could attack rebecca blacks dreams. But instead she is Freddy’s nightmare!

Definitely not going to send him on a 12 hour task right now. Maybe if the quest payouts were better.
